Tasty food, the chef's surprise is recommended, but be sure to order fries and salad with it, otherwise you'll go home with a rumbling stomach 😉

Great place where we eat quite often. The lunches are always good and reasonably priced. Yesterday a fancy sandwich with spreads for 13 euros; it was hardly fancy for a lot of money. Then just a piece of meat for 26.5 euros without vegetables and without fries. A very small portion of fries on the side for 4.5 euros. That is extremely disappointing, if not scandalous. The hamburger was delicious and plentiful, but also too expensive. No dinner for us in the future, very unfortunate.

I had the Livar pork at Nozems and it was truly amazing. The meat was deliciously tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The portion was generous, and everything on the plate was well-balanced. The service was friendly and attentive. A restaurant where quality clearly comes first.

Received a friendly welcome. Enjoyed good wine in the lovely sunshine. Then continued with fantastically prepared meat and fish. Wonderful taste experience. Not cheap, but definitely worth it. Service friendly, attentive, and with a good sense of humor. 10/10 would visit again.

Very cozy place with tasty food and good service. Everything we ate were tasty (maybe only secreto’s had a bit, hm, strange taste combination with peanuts (without them tasted great!). Ah, and I absolutely enjoyed pate, you should try it!

1 of my favorite hospitality venues in Den Helder

I recently visited this restaurant and left with mixed feelings. First off: If you're just stopping by for a drink, you'll have a good time. -> However, the fun ends when it comes to the food. The culinary claims are more than questionable. For example, I was seriously assured that the canned sardines were "fresh." The atmosphere is unique, and the story I experienced here/behind the restaurant is truly fascinating – the staff cheekily and enthusiastically told me 😂😂: Canned sardines are fresh and they're served without bread 😂😂 even though I had only asked to be sure when ordering whether the little fish were frozen or fresh.

Very friendly staff, pleasant service. Had a delicious meal from the varied menu. Parking is very convenient in the parking garage at the rear, the first 3 hours are free.

I hadn't been there in a while, but I recently had lunch there and was pleasantly surprised. A delicious bottle of wine, tasty sandwiches, and just as importantly: very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Not just one waiter, but everyone is attentive and refills your wine promptly. I'll definitely be back to rediscover the dinner menu.

Great restaurant!! We asked if we could have a drink. Sure enough, just find a seat. We ordered and received two tasty beers. So far, everything had been going smoothly. We'd barely touched the beers when someone came over and asked if he could serve us some bitterballen. Very pushy. One of us had barely finished our glass when the waiter asked if we needed another. The waiter had barely left when his female colleague came over with the same question. Almost everything was fine, but the staff was just a little too eager to sell.

We had a wonderful dinner for two. The pork belly, one of the appetizers, was so delicious. Very friendly service. A nice, quiet atmosphere with soft music and mood lighting. We'd love to come back. It was great that we could order chocolates with our coffee and tea.

It's a modern building with (despite) a charming and inviting interior. It has large windows, allowing for plenty of natural light. There are high and low tables offering plenty of privacy. The service is friendly and professional. The menu is limited (which I think is a good thing), and the food is good! Highly recommended!

Sadly disappointing!! Until today, we were always very satisfied with the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the service at Nozems. One of us is disabled and, due to his disability, asked if his carpaccio could be rolled and sliced. This was not possible; "we had to prepare 20 covers." We weren't the only ones; there are also trainees in the kitchen, and they couldn't handle that...(?) If the disabled person had been alone, this would have been possible, they said. The disabled person felt very awkward and uncomfortable about this!! After all, we were dining together and wanted to start our dishes at the same time, not have one of us cut for the other first. (How often do you encounter people dining out alone, especially people with disabilities?!) It is DISCRIMINATORY and extremely unfriendly to the customer that they reacted this way, especially to a (now non-)returning guest! Apparently, the kitchen isn't capable of deviating even slightly from the norm. So don't expect anything out of the box, no matter how complicated it may be. Imagine having an allergy! (This isn't a disservice to the waitresses.) We eat out a LOT in Den Helder and have never experienced anything like this before!

The service was very fast and good. The staff was very friendly. A friend of our group was having intestinal problems and had to go to the bathroom for a while. Fortunately, they were very understanding, and she was able to take the unfinished portion home with her. The fries were less crispy than expected, and the burger fell apart with the food. Everything else was delicious.

We had a delicious meal at Nozem in Den Helder! A bit more expensive than average for Den Helder, but absolutely worth it. We had shrimp toast as a starter, risotto with sea bass fillet as our main course, a sweet Nozems tasting dessert, and a few chocolates with our tea. Delicious.

What a wonderful experience at Nozems in Den Helder! The food is truly a feast – every plate that arrives looks like a painting and tastes even better than it looks. The service is not only professional but also genuinely friendly and attentive, making you feel immediately welcome. What I personally really appreciate is that the restaurant isn't overcrowded. This gives you plenty of space to relax and enjoy your meal, and you're hardly disturbed by noise or conversations at other tables. This creates a relaxed atmosphere, as if you're in your own world for a moment. In short: one of the best – if not the best – restaurants in Den Helder. A place where you enter with a smile and leave with an even bigger smile. Highly recommended!

The food is delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is super cozy and nice either for a casual dinner or a nice date night. Crab bisque soup is a must try!

Fingerlicking good, that's what I said to my husband when I actually 'secretly' ran a finger through the remaining gravy on my plate. The food: delicious. But worth mentioning separately, what a great service. Starting on the terrace, later moving inside, one employee after the other just as polite, attentive and 'as it should be'. A very nice experience!

Don't go there again soon. Menu very small. Drinks not good Starter special carpaccio with cashew nuts / fried bread crumbs and lots of types of vegetables that you also see in the salad. and grated cheese. So no carpaccio!? The main course does not include fries (fries from a bag half raw on the inside. Hopeless) you have to order that separately also no vegetables, then just order a salad separately. Yes, that way you can increase the amount nicely. €106,- for two people If you have eaten well then fine but not this anymore. Disappointed customer

What a nice introduction!! Excellent food, beautifully presented plates where real attention was paid. Fresh surprising vegetables and very friendly crew. Also worth mentioning, I could go with a walker INTO the very spacious, clean, disabled toilet. We recommend and we will come back. Thanks for a pleasant evening.

Today we enjoyed a delicious 3-course meal with 5 people. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, nice atmosphere and the food was great! Really delicious flavor combinations, good temperature and the amount was more than enough. What a great place...

Some vegetarian options, no vegan options. My negative review is due to illegal price practices: 1. Menu contains "bread with olives" but bread does not contain any olives -- make you pay 5.50 for a few olives. 2. Bread dish is 7.00 in menu, they charge 7.50. Claim menu is outdated but then simply leave it lying around? I should have refused to pay the extra charges, what a rip-off, and handled very badly by employees.

The best coffee, oat milk, vegan options also for pastries. A bit more variation would be nice because eating the same thing all the time is not nice, but they always think along and have a changing vegetarian monthly menu that can often also be vegan.

Waanzinnige, gezellig plek om te dineren. Je kan kiezen uit gewone kaart of verassingsmenu. De kok doet enorm zijn best om voor het verassingsmenu iedereen naar zijn zin te maken. Eten is verrukkelijk en cullinair. Verassingsmenu bestaat uit kleine gangen. Glutenvrij eten is top. Goed op de hoogte van Coeliakie.

Discovered Nozems yesterday. A recommendation from a friend. And what a must.... Delicious food, the sea bass, which was beautifully served. With risotto, artificial prawns and some vegetables. The tastiest sea bass I have ever eaten and there have been many. Wonderfully tender and the crispy skin completed it. Super!! And also very friendly employees. Not pushy, but involved and cheerful. A beautiful smile also goes a long way!

Service is friendly, competent and pleasant. Really great. Food is tasty, but not much for what you pay for it. The interior is elegant, but the music is a disaster... they play the same thing in the supermarket. Missed opportunity.

You can spend an evening here. The food is fine, some dishes are not quite my style but that is taste. Also well organized for large groups. We were here with 20 people and everything was good. Food was served at the same time and no one was left dry. That table was kept well wet. We love that! Highly recommended!

Great, came by by chance.. great food selection/small snacks at lunchtime/in the evening from 5 p.m. there is a large menu.. I can easily recommend it.

Had a lovely lunch there with my girlfriend. Nice service who is happy to have a chat. Something like this often makes it a bit more pleasant and creates a nice connection where almost nothing seems too much to ask. The hot chicken sandwich could use a little more chicken, but otherwise I will definitely come here more often. Good price-quality ratio.

We ate here for the first time and we thought it was a nice place with a modern design. The music is a bit ambient, not particularly my taste but not annoying. Everything is spacious, so you don't have to squeeze between the tables. I can imagine that when it is busy it can be quite noisy, but during our visit it was quiet. The service was extremely friendly and correct, and the food was really delicious. We had a nice draft beer from the wide selection, followed by a nice wine. All in all a discovery, we will come here more often.

I was here last year and really enjoyed my meal, so went back this year with visiting family. Big mistake! My steak did not have the texture or taste of steak, it could have been horse perhaps but I'm not an expert on horse meat so don't know for sure. After bringing this to the attention of the waiter (not mentioning horse meat out of politeness) the waiter proceeded to tell me that he has served a thousand steaks and never had a complaint. I then asked him if he thought I can't tell what a steak should taste like because I've probably had a thousand steaks in my life too. At this the arrogant man nodded and walked away. He did come back eventually to say I would not be charged for the steak with a far from customer friendly face on. I certainly won't be back and won't be recommending.

Aanwinst voor Den Helder. Er is ruimte in de zaak, wat maakt dat je je heerlijk prive voelt. Fijne sfeer, gastvrij en attent personeel en het belangrijkste: het eten is geweldig! Toppers in de keuken. Er is aandacht voor alles. Zelf de vega-optie genomen, gekaramelliseerde witlof, het smaakte fantastisch. Tafelgenoten waren ook te spreken over de zeebrasem en de vega-sate. Komen graag nog eens terug.

Nice place, you have a nice time there. I've eaten there a few times now. The quality itself is okay, but not very special either. Last time with a large group...little for a lot. And asking every three minutes if you want something to drink, a bit irritating. Furthermore, good and friendly staff. In short, I don't really know anything about Nozems
