Mega tasty fries. Best fast food in Julianadorp.

When I arrived at the restaurant, there was a long queue, so I briefly asked the server if I could just buy drinks. She replied that this was fine, but I would have to wait. So I joined the queue properly. After about 20 minutes, it was finally my turn. Then I wanted to order two bottles of beer. She replied that I could only order beer if I also ate there. So I waited for nothing. Very disappointing.

We stopped here during our bike tour. We had fries and ice cream, drank milkshakes, and everything was very tasty and reasonably priced. There was also plenty of water for our dog. The staff member was very friendly, thank you again!

Today we got an ice cream at Snackbar Van Foreest. We had ordered a soft serve with disco dip but received nuts instead. We calmly asked if we could perhaps exchange it, but were completely ignored. After asking, they reacted sharply and said that they had heard us say nuts. They had no intention of giving us anything else. We were not looked at, and were spoken to in a mumbled, quiet manner.

We had ordered an ice cream with disco dip, but received an ice cream with nuts. We went back inside to politely ask if it could be changed. We were completely ignored and they turned their backs on us. There was some mumbling and they were clearly not open to helping us. I had to throw the ice cream away since I have a nut allergy. Very bad service and extremely unfriendly.

Fast food that tastes delicious. Typical Dutch dishes. Highly recommended for a quick bite. We'll definitely go there again during our holiday.

We were here a few years ago and enjoyed it. After a lovely bike ride past Groet, Schoorl, Bergen, and Egmond aan Zee, we paid another visit to Snackbar Van Foreest. The weather was beautiful that day, and the snack bar was quite busy. Unfortunately, I didn't think the fries were great this time. They seemed like leftover pieces from previous frying sessions. Luckily, my wife had better fries... Furthermore, respect to the two ladies who run the place together amidst the crowds!

What more could you want? It's a must-try on your first day in Julianadorp aan Zee. A typical Dutch fry shop that has everything you could possibly need. The girls who work there are very coordinated, fast, and friendly. They have to be, with the crowds. I don't even want to know how much food they serve every day. If I ever find myself in beautiful Julianadrop again, I'll definitely be back, with the best and most wonderful hosts. Oh, and they also have soft-serve ice cream.

The food is what you would expect from a chip shop. You get a pager to take with you if you eat on their terrace. Service is quick.

We come to the snack bar every year at the start of our vacation, whether for soft-serve ice cream or a hot meal. It's always very clean and the food is delicious. The service is always very friendly, too.

Here you'll receive friendly and prompt service with a full range of Dutch snacks. There's ample seating both indoors and outdoors, as well as parking.

Unfortunately, dogs aren't allowed inside. I was asked to leave and had to sit outside. Since it was drizzling, I then had to sit on a wet chair. No one dried the wet table either. If it had been covered, I would have given it four stars.

I'm reviewing a snack bar here, not a Michelin-starred restaurant. Based on recommendations, we walked in and had a Frikandel Special with special fries. The place is very clean, and the staff is well-groomed, friendly, and nice. The fries were really delicious—crispy and juicy. The Frikandel is just a Frikandel, with mayo, onion, and curry ketchup. I'd gladly go back anytime and recommend it to others.

Four people are behind the counter. Two people are waiting at a table for their orders. I've been waiting for five minutes, but no one helps me; they don't even notice me. I tell them I've had enough, leave, and will never come back. I live in the old village myself, what a spectacle!

We've been coming to Den Helder for 40 years and it's a family tradition to eat there first thing when we arrive 👍

The frikandel was great, but the fries with special sauce were in the oil too long; I had a stomach ache that evening.

We wanted to eat at the snack bar. But dogs weren't allowed. So we left again because it was too cold to sit on the terrace.

Every year we come to Julianadorp, the first meal we've had is the hamburger menu. It's always been consistently good and delicious. The service is friendly.

We had the shashlik menu and were unfortunately disappointed. It was about 40 grams of indefinable, deep-fried meat on a skewer with tiny amounts of onions and peppers. It came with a dab of sauce. The salad came in a plastic bowl with no dressing, just a tiny bit of dressing on top. The taste was okay.

The best snack bar in Julianadorp/Den Helder. A wide selection at reasonable prices. Be sure to check the opening hours; weekday evenings are only open until 8:00 PM! What would a vacation in the Netherlands be without fries, frikandel, cheese soufflé, and bitterballen? Possible, but pointless. Highly recommended! We come regularly!

A small snack bar with various small dishes. We had the special Frikandel with fries, which I wanted to try, and the Gypsy schnitzel with fries. The food wasn't that special, but the Frikandel was the best, with lots of plastic packaging and not very appealing...

I've never experienced anything less friendly. Put off by this, we didn't order at all on our last visit. The employee apparently had more important things to do anyway. But not so good on previous visits either. In our opinion, half the chicken was definitely for the trash can. Fried so badly, it could only be thrown in the trash.

Classic Dutch snack bar. Basically a chip shop, but in restaurant style and with an ice cream parlor. There are all the local classics. Everything from the Frikandel to the burger was very tasty. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. You have to wait because the Kaden is very busy.

I can't say anything about the food, the order never came. You come in. No hello nothing. You stand at the counter (cash register directly in front of you) and both ladies continue their departure undeterred. You wait so they can finish...Well after 15 minutes we left, everyone behind us was pissed too. Locals came in and were served straight away. We and many others left and will definitely not come back.

The entire meal comes from the freezer and is heated in the fat - it's amazing that even the shish kebab is defrosted in the microwave and then fried so we won't come by again
