O resto–bar in Wijk 01 't Hart-Soestdijk

Expensive food & small portions, very mediocre flavors! And very poor service. What's truly bizarre is that despite eating and drinking (bottles of wine) and spending serious money, you still have to pay €4.50 for tap water. It's not even sparkling water, but the staff politely tells you they'll refill it with tap water. It's a shame that this is how you have to earn your living as an owner. The service is extremely poor; they have no experience or understanding of the hospitality industry. Three-four young women work there, chatting away and having no time to take your order. If you then have to walk inside to order and you interrupt their pleasant chat, You get a snarl and are told to wait a moment. The staff routinely walks away without clearing the table or taking your order immediately. You can, however, enjoy the last rays of sunshine longer than at the neighbors. I'll only come back here for a drink in the sun!

Always delicious - nice that new menu where you can now also order before, main and after. O resto is a great place to stay in a quieter environment with excellent cuisine and service!

On Oct 23 send a Christmas newsletter and then on Oct. 29 let us know in an email that 'we are not open at Christmas'... uh... what about that?! nothing about a closure other than in that newsletter or on its own website. 🥵

In Soest/Baarn this is without a doubt my favorite place for a nice bite to eat. Nice menu, with also many vegetarian options. Dishes are well seasoned and regularly surprising. Price is also more than right. Nice team, top place for a night out.

The food is great, the location is great, the atmosphere is great! However, they're short-staffed, so you constantly have to raise your hand, which detracts from the overall experience. The staff is very friendly, though.

Ordered food arrived on time and perfectly hot, definitely recommend this! Also compliments to David, nice guy and my food arrived within the time I expected.

Our first time here was positive. Choice of dishes was good, but a little confusing on the different menu cards. Dishes were tasty and nicely presented. Charcuterie platter was very large and obviously meant for sharing. Corvina fish was interesting, avocado very nice. Café Brasil was ok.

Was here last summer. Nice concept, nice decor and good quality food. However, you will spend more than for a 3-course dinner at a comparable restaurant. We were there again last week. If your concept involves several, on average 4 to 6, small dishes, the service must also come by regularly to take the next course. We thought this took (much) too long, which caused irritation. When a restaurant of this caliber has Magnum on the menu for dessert, you expect the chef's interpretation of the classic ice cream. To my surprise it was just the simple ice cream. What a mockery. No more Rest-o bar for me.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere. Friendly service that knows what they are doing. Plates are nicely laid out. 4 or 5 courses. Wonderful evening out.

Delicious food. The first course could be served a little faster, waiting 20 minutes after ordering was a bit long. After that it went very well. The dishes are all delicious. Steak tartare, scallops, mackerel, oysters, brownie, it was amazing! Beautifully prepared plates, lots of taste. In our opinion, the only thing was that the sandwich was not fresh, but that was the only thing. Oh yes, great that they serve cocktails, both with and without alcohol. Recommended!

Most catering establishments in Soest are still stuck in 2003: delicious carpaccio, the best satay (..) and yes, old-fashioned spare ribs. Fortunately, Resto Soest avoids this, but the level can still be raised quite a few steps. The tuna is boring. The pork belly was dry and tough. A cracker has little to do with brioche. Etc. We had a nice evening, but you still shouldn't be in Soest for a really good culinary restaurant.

I came here for the first time with a friend for dinner. We ordered two dishes (plus fries) to share. The open ravioli was impossible to share - really needed to be eaten directly from the dish as it completely fell apart. The aardpeer dish was bland. Both dishes looked pretty but lacked flavor. Fries were good. We had planned to order dessert but didn’t in the end. Price-wise it’s affordable fine dining, but I’ve eaten at many fine dining restaurants and this somehow missed the mark that night. The interior (and the bathrooms) are lovely though, really nice space. I might try it again, for a different kind of occasion, as I live close by and the atmosphere is great. And I’m a regular at their sister restaurant next door, The Lindenhof, which is a very good restaurant.

Had a nice evening. Service was excellent. The dishes are creative and technically beautiful but could be a bit spicier / higher in taste. The wine list is short but of good quality. An asset to the Soest catering industry with room for growth

Delicious food. The case belongs to the same owner (Sander) as the Lindenhof. Nice dishes to share or not. You can choose in size. Delicious croquettes, watermelon and burrata. Flat irion steak prepared medium well. Good home-made fries with it. Friendly service.

We namen op weg naar huis nog even een roze en een biertje a raison van |€12,50. Daarna ging het terras dicht en moesten we verhuizen naar het naastgelegen terras van de Lindenhof. Zie verder aldaar......

Vanavond voor het eerst hier wezen eten. Het eten was méér dan verrukkelijk. Om 20.00u was het twee minuten stil. Dat was zeer respectvol. Ik kan alleen maar zeggen, ga hier beslist eens eten. De kaart varieert regelmatig. Er is ook een borrelkaart. Ziet er ook goed uit. Leuke zitjes in het restaurant. Sfeervol aangekleed. Service geweldig. Een vette 10!!!

Ooooooooo wat zijn jullie een geweldige aanwinst voor Soest! Alles wat ik heb besteld was verrukkelijk! Ik heb een favo dish Coquille! Maar ja de truffel risotto , groene asperges , gegrilde witlof en gegrilde spruitjes allemaal zeer de moeite waard ! Speciale dank voor de Quinty en Tulay heerlijk service met een grote glimlach! Ik kom op zeker terug voor de bites met een GinTo!

Super lekker gegeten. Was een uitje voor de verjaardag van mijn Marjolein. Zelfs mijn 13 jarige zoon vond het heerlijk.
