Super nice atmosphere, very nice owner and service always does her/his best, delicious food and always nice to come back, recommended!

A smaller restaurant on the edge of town. Reservations are recommended! It feels like an authentic Italian restaurant, with dishes to match. We had a wonderful meal.

Noisy, not many nice places for 2 people. Wanted to have a drink after pizza but then moved outside because of the noise and the heat. This request was handled very inhospitably (by an older woman). It came down to the fact that as soon as someone else wanted to eat, we were expected to leave immediately... While we had not been there for 2 hours, had already eaten and would have occupied a table anyway. Sorry, but then you do not understand what it means to work in hospitality. We will not be back, so they do not have to worry so much about guests occupying a table. Pizza was ok, not great

Here we are always warmly welcomed, as if you are coming home. The food and the atmosphere are great.

How delicious the caneloni spinach and that baguette with herb butter 🙏🏻 They had specially turned on this option to order online top service. Also been there once very good all also the pizzas 👍🏻

For us the nicest and best Italian in Amersfoort. Both the pizzas and pastas are delicious and well filled and it is always pleasantly busy. Until next time!

It was all in poor taste (unfortunately) Gamba's very bland 3 types of paste .. equal taste was 1 knit Very unfortunate, I had never eaten before when it was delicious!

We waren er vroeger dan verwacht. Geen probleem. Bijzonder vriendelijk en gastvrij. Erg lekker gegeten. De cucine is open en je ziet de kok bezig.

Op vrijdag 21 maart samen met mijn vriendin hier gegeten. We hadden gereserveerd dit is wel aan te raden. Ontvangst was vriendelijk en konden een tweepersoons tafel uit kiezen. Kregen voordat we bestelde een mandje met stokbrood met knoflookboter. ( Dit stond achteraf ook niet op de rekening.) Waar krijg je dit nog. Mijn vriendin bestelde de pizza Sadegnola en ik had de Calzone. De Sadegnola was ruim belegd met tomaten, champignons, uien, paprika en artisjok. De Colzone was wat magertjes gevuld, veel tomatensaus, wat ham en veel salami. De smaak was wel goed van de pizza’s. Had meer verwacht van de Calzone , misschien gevuld met champignons en paprika.

We had dinner here with a group of 11 for a friend's bachelor party. They were very cooperative with our reservation and offered a separate room for us. We had a delicious meal and the service was very fast despite the large group! The bride to be even received dessert and amaretto on behalf of the restaurant. We will definitely go here more often :)

Authentic building on the canal. We had a reservation last night at 5:30 PM. To our surprise, the restaurant was almost full. A warm welcome and a table by the window. After half an hour the restaurant was completely full. Delicious fresh tomato soup and delicious pizzas. The guests around us also had nothing but praise for the food. Highly recommended for a meal.

Ate with 4 adults. The starters AntiPasto Misto, mussels and shrimp were fair to good, nothing special. We didn't like the pizzas. Too much topping and therefore too wet on the inside. The service was also not optimal, her and our mistake was not to ask how the meat should be cooked, which made it too raw for us. Place the already cut slices back on the baking tray, but that doesn't make it any tastier. The side dish had been on the table for a while before the main course arrived. Drinks were forgotten, and there was a lot of discussion between which table an order belonged to. Choice of dessert is not special. In short, I spent a reasonable amount of money and returned home unsatisfied. Not again for us.

We were in Amersfoort and decided to go to O Sole Mio. I used to come here regularly and had good memories of it. Our visit started a bit strangely. When we entered, we were only helped after a long time, even though the employees seemed to do nothing. The restaurant was empty because we were early. Something went wrong when ordering our drinks. On the advice of the waitress, my friend got a glass of wine to go with her starter. When I tried to order the same wine two minutes later after taking a sip from my friend, the waitress couldn't remember which one it was and claimed she hadn't given us any advice. The starter was great. The main course was a disappointment. My friend got her dish first while after ten minutes I had to ask where my dish was. They indicated a mistake in the kitchen. When my Rib-eye arrived, the result was disappointing: the meat was simply inedible. At checkout, without asking, we received a discount of €15 as compensation. Very neat, it can happen of course. Hopefully we will have better luck next time, but this visit was certainly not as I imagined it.

Cozy restaurant, delicious food and good price/quality.

We came to eat on the bonne tip and that was possible until seven o'clock. Since it was half past six, that should normally be easy. The restaurant was still quite empty at the time. Unfortunately, our order probably burned up and therefore it took a long time and the seven hours were therefore not achieved. All in all, the food was tasty, the pizza was very large and well topped. Only the bottom was still a bit black from the previous order, which unfortunately failed (it can happen of course). And that was a bit less. The pastas were good and tasty. But I think this restaurant is less suitable for children.

The pizza top ministers were delicious but the base was very tough, maybe pre-cut it next time? The penne tasted okay but the sauce was almost impossible to find, The tap beers were on the small side, just like the glasses of wine, plus parking at 16 & considerably on the high side so I will continue looking!!!!

Hadn't been here for several years. Has gotten bigger. Atmosphere is still good, pizzas too and service is friendly. You feel welcome here. You can still eat out here for a reasonable price. Unfortunately I don't have any photos

Lots of hustle and bustle in the evening, but nice. Staff is nice, but they do make mistakes every now and then. Sometimes you can certainly make a mistake, I know that from experience, but not too many. Food could really be better. The menu recently changed and the tastiest things are no longer on the menu. Too many pizzas and the pizzas are either burnt, or a lot, but way too salty. Starter and dessert are good, but the choice of dessert is limited. Conclusion: the restaurant is fine, but it could be much better.

Delicious pizza and pasta, good service. Worth repeating

We had a delicious pizza here. We have moved to North Holland, so this pizzeria is no longer in our neighborhood. But our son wanted to go here again. It used to be his favorite pizzeria. And it was still delicious. But where has the aquarium gone? 😂

It remains our favorite Italian in Amersfoort. Pasta, pizza or carne. Always tasty!

Dziś po południu Poszliśmy do tej restaurcji pierwszy raz na pizzę i nie zostaliśmy w ogóle obsłużeni...!!! Kręciły się dookoła nas 2 kelnerki i udawały że nas nie widzą ....!!! Przechodziły kilka razy i nawet słowa nie powiedziały ! Straszna obsługa ! Zero kultury i dobrej nauki kelnerskiej ! Kultura wymaga odezwania się chociażby słowem do klienta typu "zaraz przyjdę "..."Proszę chwile poczekać "...Poczuliśmy się totalnie "olani " ! Kelnerki Były zbyt zajęte sprzątaniem stolików ...a potem w ogóle nie wróciły...Po takim potraktowaniu udaliśmy się do innej włoskiej restauracji gdzie zjedliśmy pyszną pizzę i nie czekaliśmy długo .Nie wrócimy i nie polecamy za tak mało profesjonalną obsługę (młodych dziewczyn ).

Went for dinner yesterday, August 2. Pizza taste was decent, but when I went outside I was in the bathroom within 30 minutes, my stomach upset, which was an unpleasant experience. I never have that problem with your competitor around the corner. Such a shame, you have a beautiful location, but this spoils the experience. Pizza was okay Rickety table outside so drinks kept falling out of my glass Full price for half dessert Too bad I've had better experiences here. Staff consists of very young staff, which will reduce costs, but you also compromise on experience and therefore experience. All in all, an average pizzeria. I hope they can pick themselves up again when I visit them again. The above may sound negative, but when I compare it with my previous visits I notice a difference.

What an experience. We made a reservation with 8 people. The menu was quite limited. The pasta with fish was very spicy and unfortunately not very tasty. There was also no shrimp in the shell. My friend who is allergic to onions had ordered a pizza, and specifically indicated that he wanted no onion due to allergy. Unfortunately, he did get the pizza with onions, which he discovered halfway through. After indicating he received a new pizza. No compensation, and the message was; I hope it doesn't bother you. Quite special for such a big mistake. No one's dish was really tasty, unfortunately. Very unfortunate, but not recommended.

I came here regularly when I lived in Amersfoort in the 90's. So, for old times sake, I chose this restaurant for my dinner on Saturday evening. I thought the chosen wine was too warm, but it came out of the climate chamber at 'the right temperature'. The starter (funghi trifolati) was ok but not super special. When the ordered cannelloni arrived, I was served the cannelloni with meat, while I (since I have been a vegetarian for 40 years) had ordered the cannelloni without meat. I think this is a mistake that should not happen in a reputable restaurant! Apologies were offered, but I had to make do with that. I decided not to continue eating... too bad because it was always a great restaurant.

The Tortellini alla Gorgonzola was a 6, but the Lasagne al Forno was very substandard. Bland, undercooked, paltry quantity. Puff pastry looked like it came from Aldi.

Homely atmosphere, delicious pizzas and surprisingly good meat/fish dishes. Definitely go for the Sardinian Cannonau wine ;)

The food was good, and so was the service. We were 13 people and everything was well organized, so it was also suitable for large groups

As a lover of Italian food, I have been coming here regularly since last year, and it is always delicious, prepared in a traditional Italian way. Highly recommended! Moreover, the staff here is very friendly and professional.

Cozy looking restaurant, friendly welcome. With the menus just in front of us, we were asked if we had already made a choice. I hadn't even opened the card yet. While we were having our drinks, the 2nd waitress came unceremoniously to open the shutter at the window. No explanation, no "can I join you?" just clumsily trying to open the hatch with a stick. It didn't go easily and Liège fell open with a clatter. Halfway through our delicious starter, the 1st waitress came with a dessert. Looking really surprised "oh this isn't for you" and not knowing what to do. After we finished the starter, the same waitress asked if we wanted the menu for dessert. Asked if they wanted to get rid of us. Blinking again with big blue eyes. Then the main course came. Spaghetti alla marinara and .... you had lasagna? No canelloni. Went back with the sign. Then to say oh yes it was canelloni. This was also very tasty. Big kudos to the chef. Afterwards we were happy to pay. After 10 minutes of being completely ignored, we got up. It wasn't busy anymore. We looked at them regularly. Just no response. We really doubted whether we should walk away from the business or ask if we could pay. It's that the food was delicious. The cook cannot do anything about the clumsiness of the service.

If you pay 15 euros for a pizza you get 4 slices of salami

Friendly arrival, great service and the food was excellent

Great meal: basket of bread with butter, very tasty bruschetta and a nicely baked pizza tonno. No soft, white base, but crispy and thin and well topped. Great atmosphere, easily accessible (parking garage around the corner) and within walking distance of the city center.

Paar jaar niet geweest, en nu n dag voor onze oorspronkelijke trouwens datum en om e.v later m'n verjaardag te vieren. Vriendelijke bediening, vooraf mosselen en ik carpaccio,. Mijn man in geen fan van pittig ,helaas de mosselen waren pittig , de carpaccio kon je doorheen kijken en n ple 's olie erop. Zetten ze er n olie en balsamico bij .had dus liever zelf gekozen. Daarna pizza ,m'n man n calzone ( veel lucht ,weinig vulling) ik n pikante en wat extra champignons...pfff zag er top uit ,tot je m aansnijdt. Korst top vulling top bodem in het gehele middendeel zacht glibberig en zompig. Gelijk gemeld ...ja dat komt door de extra champignons, nee e en wat langer in de oven ?? Nee kiezen nieuwe pizza of deze .nou dan n nieuwe, ok komt er minder vulling op ???? Nou idd n 3e van wat er eerst op zat .3 stukjes champignon ,en binnen korte tijd op tafel. Idd nog steeds onwaar de gehele binnenkant laten liggen en wat er nog aan vulling opzat gegeten met de korst . Er werd terwijl m'n man aan t afrekenen was gevraagd hoe t was ,laten zien dat je de bodem als n soort kauwgom kon uittrekken. Oh nee dat was niet goed. Nee idd niet .dus ik zeg nog dit was m'n trouwdag en ik.wilde reserveren voor m'n 70e verjaardag met n groep , oh nou dat zal nu niet meer gebeuren werd er geantwoord. Pff nee idd ruim 80 euro aftikken en nee wijkomen NOOIT meer terug. Nog geen excuus nog geen gratis drankje .ja naar huis met n teleurstellend gevoel en n enigzins vieze nasmaak

Food is quite tasty, but not really special. Better than the bulk of Italian restaurants, but not among the best either. I don't understand why a 'real Italian restaurant' doesn't make their own fresh pasta. There was also someone who drove very antisocially at 30 km/h backwards through the street to park in the middle of the sidewalk. This person then picked up some pizza from the restaurant, but nothing was said about his antisocial behavior.

In the good sense of the word, an 'old-fashioned' Italian: cozy, good, fast and always that touch of a holiday feeling. The wines are good and the lasagna is delicious. So when we come, we don't even have to see the map.

Fantastische plek om te gaan eten. Er hangt een super gezellige sfeer. Voor je je bestelling krijgt krijg je van het huis stokbrood met kruidenboter. Ik koos voor de lasagne gorgonzola. Echt verrukkelijk, geserveerd in een stenen schaaltje, super warm en heel smakelijk. Als nagerecht kozen we voor de citroentaart. Ook verrassend lekker. Ik zou hier zeker terugkomen. Compliment voor de bediening en het keukenpersoneel.

Overall I find the location and staff good but the food quite average.

Antonio and his colleagues gave us a great evening. We were with a larger group and Antonio had arranged some nice antipasto boards in advance. Main course was also great, accompanied by excellent wines and good deserts. We had a nice evening, thanks for the good care!

Very tasty meal! Have walked past many times in the past. Was always full. So decided to make a reservation. It is a real family restaurant that has been around for a long time. Delicious cheese board for dinner. And partner a pizza, which was delicious. I took the lasagna myself. Delicious tiramisu after. With coffee!

De Spaghetti Marinara was onverwacht rijkelijk gevuld met sappige mosselen, zachte inktvisringen en een enorme gamba. Heerlijk van smaak (niet te zout, precies goed). Een klein pepertje erin /erop was lekker geweest maar da’s persoonlijk. De bezorging duurde n uur, maar super netjes overhandigd en het wachten waard!

Heerlijk gegeten en fijne bediening. Vooraf bruschetta, een lekkere pizza en tot slot tiramisu. Een echte Italiaan, qua sfeer en smaak

Wij waren hier op een woensdagavond. Goede en attente bediening. Er werd ook meegedacht met de tijd die wij tussen het voor en hoofdgerecht wilden hebben. Eten is van goede kwaliteit voor nette prijzen. Tot de volgende keer!

Wij vroegen of we een pizza en salade konden delen. Geen probleem. We kregen het zelfs al gehalveerd op ons bord. Meedenken, flexibel, klantgericht. 👍

Lekker eten. Wij zaten hier op zaterdagavond en het was vol, hierdoor ging er qua bediening wel wat mis. Verder alles prima.

Heerlijke pizza en dessert. Van goede kwaliteit en het is qua prijs echt goed te doen. Je krijgt dus goede Italiaanse pizza die betaalbaar is :) De bediening is vriendelijk. We gingen er rond 18u eten, wat prima was. Na wat tijd werd het wat drukker waardoor het harder praten is. Maar de pizza is goed en de overall ervaring is aan te raden!

Wij kwamen zonder reservering binnen en na kort overleg kregen we een leuk tafeltje toegewezen. Het was gezellig druk. Het eten(pizza's)was goed verzorgd en smakelijk. Ook hier mag de koffie wat warmer geserveerd worden. De medewerkers zijn attent en vriendelijk. Een goede ervaring.

Een heerlijke start van eten .... alles was meer dan smaakvol.

Na een jaar of 20 weer eens geweest maar helaas niet meer zoals het was, vriendelijke bediening en lekkere wijn, eten matig helaas, had er meer van verwacht.

Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt, haben einen Tisch ohne Reservierung bekommen. Sehr schönes Restaurant und freundliches Personal. Die Nudeln mit dem Parmesan und dem Rinderstücken waren sehr lecker. Negativ fanden wir nur, dass wir nicht gefragt wurden, wie das Rindfleisch gebraten werden soll,. Uns war es leider zu roh und der Preis war etwas zu teuer . Wir waren sonst sehr zufrieden

Lekkerste pizza van Nederland, Krokante bodem heerlijke toppings. Alleen jammer dat ze de Sint Jacobsschelpen van het menu hebben gehaald. Dat was het voorgerechtje waar je mij voor wakker kunt maken.

Heerlijk gegeten. Buiten bleek dat ik mijn fietssleutel verloren had, maar die was netjes binnen gebracht door iemand. Toen ik binnen er naar vroeg lag de sleutel netjes op mij te wachten. Met dank aan de eerlijke man die hem vond!
