Just had a delicious, crispy, airy currant bun that wasn't greasy at all. Blissful! I saw on olibollentestonline that Nick also scored sky-high this year (number 3 in the top 10 of the Netherlands!). This place is an absolute must. Price? I bought 5 currant buns for 6,- and the size is fine. The trip there and the short wait are definitely worth it. Enjoying hereβ¦..

The best Oliebollen in Utrecht in my opinion. Never too fatty, good texture. Worth it to walk just that little bit extra and discover this part of the city center as well.

Great oliebollen and apple fritters. The oliebollen are crispy and soft on the inside, I haven't found better ones yet. I stay here every time to get an oliebol. Next year again!

Truly the most delicious oliebollen I have ever eaten. Doesn't taste or feel greasy at all. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Lucky that this stall is on our doorstep π. Cheerful employees!

Kanaalstraat 61The food was excellent and delicious for a low price. A chicken kebab sandwich is β¬6, and it's packed with meat, and the raw vegetables are fresh. Not just lettuce, cucumber, and tomato, but also pickles, pickled cabbage/beetroot, and onion, etc. The roll is freshly baked (by the bakery) and even toasted. You won't find this anywhere else in Utrecht for this price. The staff are also lovely and helpful. Top spot!

Oude Vleutenseweg 2on a cold day they make it cozy with a campfire. bread is tasty. Not too busy, enough choices, cash payment is not very welcome... Very happy with a good baker in the neighborhood!

Laan van Chartroise 1The reviews seem based on a myth. A good bakery, but nothing special. Those long lines that supposedly make it so cozy and prove it's a great bakery? No one says a word. They don't have to, but hyped up as a cozy neighborhood gathering doesn't reflect reality. If you have to wait that long, I'd hire more staff and show a little more respect for your customers, especially people with disabilities. It's a shame.
