I met Marisca on a retreat in the Veluwe. Her appearance has something magical. A wise woman who has experienced a lot, grounded, but also in connection with what we do not see... She has a gift for this. A reading is an interplay between the cards, Marisca and yourself. When you enter her salon you can already feel it, everything exudes peace and being. I have been to her several times and every time is different, sometimes the puzzle pieces fall into place immediately and sometimes you can't quite place it and later it turns out that she has hit the nail on the head. It remains special and elusive... I am grateful to her every time for the clarity that her readings give me. Ultimately the answers lie within yourself, she helps you find them with the help of her cards... it remains a magical experience ✨🙏

Cozy little place where you can get delicious vegetarian and vegan food. Eating on the spot is also possible, there are about 6 seats. I let the staff put together a nice lunch plate for me and that was a good choice. Especially the savory pie was really heavenly. Price was good with 14 euros.

I am not vegetarian so when I say this is the only veggie place I voluntarily go to, it means their food is so delicious I don’t miss the meat! The couple who own the business are really lovely also!

Great address! Home cooking with good taste. Quality dishes made on site. And very reasonable prices. We come out without feeling hungry, after having eaten well, desserts and coffee included for 3 adults. Great welcome and service. Good atmosphere. And all this for vegetarians. Finally an address different from all the other sandwich restaurants and other dishes that are too fatty and tasteless... We highly recommend!

This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. I was told to wait for Petar because he would help me. Nothing happened for 25 minutes as I just waited. No Petar spoke to me, I was completely ignored. Apparently they cannot communicate well at Olive & Cookie when one person tells me to wait for Petar and then shows no initiative to help me further. Do I really need to smell who Petar is? Like everyone else in the 21st century, I was waiting by simply spending my time on my phone, because what else am I supposed to do? And as radical right-wing extremists can do so well, this suddenly became the problem and the employee went on full attack after I said something about waiting half an hour that I had not yet been helped. This is not only unprofessional, but also contrary to the Social Hygiene Guidelines. Do any of your employees have this certificate? This is mandatory, but I don't see it reflected in your actions. You knew I was there, someone was called for me, but that person just let it go. Instead of taking responsibility, you turn the story around and blame the customer. What a laughable lack of professionalism. What makes this situation even more sad is that afterwards you sent a message calling me "extremely rude." This is really something to be ashamed of as a company. You just don't treat people like that, so childish. Moreover, the message was full of spelling and grammatical errors, which only emphasizes the lack of professionalism. It is your job to take care of your customers and guests, not the other way around. Stop pointing at the customer and do what is expected of you as a "vegetarian restaurant". Tip: remove the tables, call the business a 'bakery' and sell at the counter. You are clearly not hospitable and assertive, and calling yourself a 'vegetarian restaurant' is therefore false marketing. Shame on you!

One of the tastiest meals I have had in my life.

I happen to find Olive and Cookie by searching vegan cafes. Although it was nearly closing hour on friday, the wild brown rice , chicpeas and marinated tofu were heavenly. The best tofu ive had ever!! Im told the mushrooms are equally as delicious. I’ll be back for the choc mousse cake and other incredible food they make but was sold out! Its obvious its made with love and great care. The flavours speak volumes! A must while in this city.

It may be tiny, but in a single visit this became my favourite place to eat in Amsterdam. The delicious, varied, beautiful food is crafted and served with so much love and attention - it's a genuine treat for anyone to eat here, let alone vegetarians and vegans who are bored of the same old menu options elsewhere. I wanted to try everything (and did) - I will keep coming back here every time I'm in town!

One of the best vegeterian/vegan experience I've had. The food is delicious and the lady who owns the place and cooks the meal makes you feel like you're at home. We went there to eat two days in a row which is unlikely for us. I can only reccomend it.

Todo está delicioso, en particular los pasteles veganos, Frijoles (que obviamente no están enlatados sino remojados y recién hervidos todos los días) , y el tiramisú es de nivel Michelin ! Este lugar también tiene un ambiente limpio muy tranquilo que todavía la mente y el cuerpo se siente rejuvenecido no cansado después de comer!

The FRESHEST most COZY place in Amsterdam for home-like food. Sandra & Petar are such lovely hosts and run this place with a deep purpose & strong values of health and sustainability. Everything is yummy, particularly the vegan pies, Beans (which are obviously not tinned but soaked and freshly boiled everyday), and the tiramisu is Michelin level ! This place also has a very peaceful clean vibe that stills the mind and body feels rejuvenated not tired after eating !

Incredibly good vegetarian and vegan food, everything tastes fresh and each dish has something unqiue to it. Very friendly as well. Sit in is comfortable and nice. Very good value for money! While we were in, quite a few locals came in to order large quantities or catering -- it's a real gem. highlights: pea tarte, goats cheese tarte, beans, carrots, mushrooms only cash and maestro

Superrrrr Tasty Food, super Nice owner. A Place where you can eat real, diverse and tasty food. The green peas ricotta cheese pie was gluten free and super delicious! Also had a piece of their signature chocolate cake with cream cheese inside… that was heaven! ( but could be less sweet in my opinion, bc then you will taste more of the dark cocoa :)

Enjoyed so much eating at this little gem. The spinach zucchini soup was tasty, cauliflower with goat cheese and truffle pie was the combo I didn't know I needed in my life. The lady is very welcoming.

Spectacular caterer. I have been coming there since it opened almost 20 years ago. Unbeatable in terms of quality of ingredients, taste, dedication, for a reasonable price. Be sure to arrive on time, because everything is fresh every day and gone = gone. They also do catering.

One of the best place with home atmosphere and vegetarian food in Amsterdam. I recommend this place if you are hungry and want to eat fast and cheap. Their food is already cooked, so they just heat it for you. Dishes are very delicious (especially cauliflower) and people who work here are soooo friendly! There is only 2 tables, I wish there were more. I liked they accept cash.

Home cooked food, super tasty, different options YUMMMMMM

Our time at Olive & Cookie was a highlight experience of our time in Amsterdam!! The owners are passionate about their craft and ever so friendly. We had the pleasure of chatting with them a bit and they seem like lovely people. Their philosophy of food and cooking is truly refreshing. The cafe’s ambience is simple but in the best way — a laidback homey style. By their recommendation, we ordered a sharing plate— we tried just about everything they had on offer. Each dish is made with care and bursting with flavour and personality. The flavours are unique and personal to the chefs. Everything we tasted was new and exciting. They allow core ingredients to shine and don’t overcomplicate things. Not pictured were the delicious savoury pastries we had afterwards and to-die-for desserts. Her signature mascarpone chocolate cake has a richness and depth but remains light (Twas magical). And the forest berry pie was these earthy yummy goodness hard to describe just wow. We also bought high quality spices from them and ordered more to-go for our train ride home. We just could not get enough of their food. (They even gave us a piece of dessert for free to thank us for our visit to the restaurant which was very generous and kind, merci beaucoup!!). If we ever return to Amsterdam, it will be our first stop.

I hardly write reviews but this might just be one of the best vegetarian restaurants I’ve been to in the world, easily the most underrated looking at how many reviews there are here. I’m a vegetarian nomad so I’ve been to places all over Europe and the Americas, but the chef here was as kind, homey, and passionate about her work and recipes as anybody else I’ve met. As I sat outside on the 1 little table they had, about 3 or 4 folks walked inside and sparked up conversations with the owner that seemed straight out of a hallmark movie where the chef had a unique relationship with each one that have probably been coming for years. In summary, if you want to feel like you’re sitting down in your aunt’s kitchen after school as a kid where she’s been baking all day, this is the spot.

If you want a wholesome meal like a home cooked meal from an amazing cook come here. Its no fuss take it easy delicious meal. Small non pretentious place great takeout dinner option too.

We had the loveliest lunch here, trying a little bit of everything. Absolutely hands down the best meal in Amsterdam. Everything we tried was so innovative and delicious. Wish we could've come back again before leaving! The owner was so lovely and warm and seemed to have a bunch of regulars coming in as well, which I'm not at all surprised by. This is a must-visit in Amsterdam for sure! The only thing to bear in mind is that there is fairly little seating - luckily you can also take your food to go.

You know how you can sometimes eat something great and then forget about it? Or look at pictures of your holiday food and have no idea how it tasted (or what it was!) anymore? With Olive & Cookie each dish creates a memory you and your tastebuds will not forget. Ever. You will look at that picture, remember and start swooning again. Each dish might look simple (polenta pie, beetroot salad, chickpeas with pumpkin) but everything is an explosion of taste in sheep's clothing (in a wonderful way), with just one or two (good) ingredients as star players and always a secret twist ingredient, like perfectly roasted sesame seeds with the perfectly cooked green beans. And don't forget the great love and dedication of Sandra and Petar. Their great knowledge of ingredients and techniques, makes each dish a perfect balance between taste, texture and colours. If I could chose 'a last supper' it would have to be made by one of the lovely chefs and owners of Olive & Cookie. But I prefer taking my bike and driving there whenever I feel happy, want to celebrate something with someone I love or on my own, or simply whenever I want to eat with a smile and make the world slow down to just my senses and enjoy. You pick and choose everything from their vitrine (I usually do around 3 hearty pies and several other dishes with pulses and veggies) and either get it on one plate to share or get your own plate. I prefer and love the shared plate. Take away is also an option but I only do that when I have to travel and want to eat something great to make everyone else in the train or plane jealous... Oh, and ALWAYS leave room for dessert, please. Do not leave without a dessert. Thank you for existing and sharing your passion for cooking with the world ♥

I‘ve been to dozens of vegetarian and vegan restaurants and this one tops them all. 2.5 Euro per 100 Grams! That‘s less than a quarter the price of food by weight in Tibits in Switzerland. This place gives me yet another reason to move to Amsterdam!

I accidentally found this nice, cozy place. We loved everything we ordered! I especially enjoyed the tofu/lentil dumplings. Other food was super tasty as well and the chef (?) was nice and welcoming. Richtig leckeres, aromatisches vegetarisches und veganes Essen, auch für nicht-Vegetarier. Dazu tolle und extrem freundliche Bedienung. Lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen!

Ein absoluter Geheimtipp! Ein sehr unscheinbares kleines Restaurant mit unglaublich gutem Essen. Sehr freundliche Menschen, die mit dem Herzen dabei sind. Es hat mir so gut geschmeckt, dass ich mit deren Kochbuch gekauft habe. Jeder Zeit wieder!
