We were a group of four adults and three kids, and we just walked in without a reservation. Luckily, they had a table for us. We ordered a moussaka, a special gyros, some calamari. For starters, we had a salmon carpaccio and a baked feta dish whose exact name I can’t recall. Everything was absolutely delicious. The moussaka was exceptional, the gyros was really tasty, and all the other dishes were great too. The restaurant itself is quite charming, and the service was very friendly. Everyone was smiley and polite. Overall, it was a nice spot and we had a lovely dinner there tonight.

The best restaurant in Veenendaal and the best Greek in the area. Always busy here, and reservations are essential, but no matter how busy it is, you'll be served quickly, and owner Alexandros always has time for a chat. The food is delicious, with very tender meat and a few typical Greek oven dishes and tender stews.

We rarely eat Greek food; I think it's been about 10 years since we last visited a Greek restaurant. But what a delicious meal we had last night! Good food for a good price, and very large portions! They also have a great Greek wine list, where you can order many by the glass. The friendly service is the perfect finishing touch. We'll definitely be back!

Truly exceeded expectations in every way. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the food arrived quite quickly. Even the wine list exceeded expectations for a "simple" restaurant. My girlfriend and I ordered a platter for two, and it was a truly enormous portion. I jokingly suggested that the owner was losing revenue because we couldn't have dessert. The price-quality ratio is fantastic. We ate and drank for less than €150 for three people, and we couldn't even finish it! If you're looking for a great restaurant that ticks all the boxes, definitely go here.

I have to say, the food was delicious. But unfortunately, the service was poor, even though the restaurant wasn't even full. We reserved a table well in advance, but they hadn't held a table for us outside. And nobody really wanted to sit inside. They said they would seat us outside if a spot became available. We never saw anyone again. Even when the food arrived, there was no check-in to make sure everything was alright. Drinks took a long time. No cocktails, and the menu was out of drinks (it was Friday night, and you still have the whole weekend to go). I don't understand where that 4.8 rating comes from. Oh well.

Delicious food. Whenever we are in Veenendaal we always come back here. Friendly staff. No request is too crazy. And when the owner still manages to conjure up a bottle of the delicious wine that we had earlier but that was actually no longer on the menu, then you understand that they know what they are doing here. Absolute recommendation!

Nice, cozy place! Ordered a dish for 2 for dinner; delicious! We only had the tendency to eat it quickly because the dish was not kept warm (candles maybe lit too late?). Baklava for dessert is recommended! Owner walked by every now and then; very friendly man! :)

This was my first visit to this restaurant. Nice young staff, service-oriented and fast. Food is to my taste and that of my table companion much too salty and I also reported that. I also miss the Greek/Mediterranean atmosphere. For what you get the price is a bit too high. Despite the above I had a nice evening but that was certainly due to the nice service.

Wow, everything has been thought of and it is wheelchair friendly. I am temporarily in a wheelchair. Was helped at the entrance by an attentive employee. Enough space for a wheelchair, no obstacles, a nice restaurant. Very friendly, helpful and nice service. Good knowledge of the matter has been taken into account. The sea bass from the grill was delicious and the hermes is also recommended. We enjoyed it and will eat again soon.

After more than a year we drove back to Veenendaal and had dinner with Alex and his team. The quality of the food is perfect, the atmosphere is very pleasant and the hosts try very hard. In my opinion, Omega is the best Greek restaurant in the Netherlands and a tremendous asset to this country.

What fantastic food! The service had some difficulty with the allergens, but remained friendly and helpful. It was also very pleasant and the people in the kitchen really did a great job! I had Mixed Grill - all the different meats were tender and juicy with a real Greek taste! And the grilled eggplant was, in a word, delicious.

We came to this town for a spa day and was in the mood for something meaty for dinner. We picked this place based on the reviews, and it didn’t disappoint. The meats were juicy and tender. We tried both types of mixed grills, with extra mushroom sauce and coleslaw on the side, and everything went really well together. If you love meat, you won’t be let down!

Mooi restaurant in het winkelcentrum in Veenendaal Mooi, uitgebreide kaart en prima kwaliteit. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is goed. Wijn is prima en ook betaalbaar. Bediening is vriendelijk. In begin wat stroef, maar later oke. We komen hier zeker e3n keertje terug.

Enjoyed the Akexandros dish. Left the rice, moussaka and dressing to the table companions and took it easy with the fries: therefore no problem with diabetes. Dietary requirements were negotiable and there was a table far away from the smoke. Worth repeating.

Once again we had a delicious meal for the 2nd time, outside on the terrace. Appetizers; Calamaris and Salmon carpaccio. Main courses; Beef tenderloin with prawns and grilled sea bass. Dessert: cookie praline. Home made by a Greek baker and you can taste it! All in all very satisfied! Nice service. The waitress was knowledgeable about the questions I had. Professional knowledge and pleasant interaction. Compliments!

The food is delicious. I love Greek food - it is currently my favorite restaurant to which I often return. The service is very nice and agile. Greek music also adds charm to the restaurant, making you feel like you are in Greece. This restaurant deserves more than just 5 stars.

We eat at Omega regularly and it is always good. The service is casual and the owner always comes for a chat. We have recommended the restaurant to many of our friends and we have also heard from them that they have eaten there more often since then.

Had a nice dinner together for my birthday. A delicious meal, tasty and generous portions. My highlight was the Greek yogurt with honey and walnut. Really firm yoghurt, presented as if they were ice cream balls. Nice and fresh, sour and not too strong after a hearty meal.

The food was tasty and more than enough. In addition, there are also delicious matching Greek wines, which you will not easily find elsewhere. Beautiful experience and lovely people! Pluspunten 1) vriendelijk personeel 2)lekker eten Minpunten) 1) geen ‘Griekse’ sfeer, hokkerig/kaal aangekleed. 2) na thuiskomen 2 dagen lang aan de diarree samen met mede gast.(ik bespaar je de foto’s) 3) 80 euro voor 2 personen, 2x diner en 4 drankjes was het dus niet waard.
