Palace in Wijk 00 Centrum

I don't even want to give this place one star. Unfriendly host/owner with thick glasses. We asked if he could lower an umbrella because our children were in the blazing sun. "No, we're not going to do that," he said, in such an unfriendly tone. There weren't even any people there. If we say something, because we're worried about our children, we'll get a nasty scolding. We'll never come back here! Never experienced that before. I saw that my previous post hadn't been posted because I had to edit it. I only realized it after a year and a half. But he gets that negative review!

We were there with a group of 23 people, and it was very pleasant. Although everyone had been told in advance what they wanted to eat, it was all ready at the same time. Fantastic!

So bad I made a reservation for March 22, couldn't be reached, didn't answer the phone, didn't let anyone know, luckily someone told me it was closed otherwise you'd be there with your guests. That's not nice

I miss the foot support under the bar. Otherwise a great tent

Very cosy, intimate ambience, especially nice on cold or rainy days. It has a bit of a traditional Dutch interior vibe. The food and wine were good, I had a burger which was delicious. Coffee was good as well. The staff was very kind. I would visit again.
