From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine hospitality and exceptional service. The food was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared, and full of authentic Syrian flavors. Every dish was beautifully presented and exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, making us feel truly welcome throughout our visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I visited this restaurant twice during my trip and can wholeheartedly recommend it. I have rarely experienced such friendly, warm, and helpful service. The entire team was attentive on both visits and made me feel instantly welcome. The food was outstanding every time – fresh, incredibly delicious, and prepared with great care. For me, this restaurant was definitely one of the highlights of my stay in Amsterdam. Anyone looking for great food and first-class service in Amsterdam should definitely stop by. My daughter and I stopped by Palmyra around 9:45 PM. Even though we were the only customers there at that hour, the owner greeted us with the warmest hospitality and served us immediately. **The Food:** * **Hummus (Starter):** Super smooth, flavorful, and the perfect start to our meal. * **Chicken Skewer & Rice:** The chicken was incredibly tasty and tender, paired perfectly with the rice. Everything came out in a very reasonable time. **The Ambience:** The seating area is decent and comfortable, with beautiful aesthetics that really give you an authentic **Syrian experience**. Between the delicious food and the heartwarming service, we had a wonderful time. We will definitely be returning!

Good food simple ambiance but as compare to portion size price is too much But still its a good place for halal food.

I've never tried Middle Eastern food before, so I decided to give it a try here. I searched for Syrian dishes on Gemini and ordered three. The spread for the bread had a very strong bean flavor. The pizza-like dish, which consists of lamb baked between thin Middle Eastern bread, was the best. The Middle Eastern chicken skewers were okay, though the shish taut was a bit dry. The rice (Indica, not Japonica) was delicious, and it was nice to have it for the first time in a while. The traditional yogurt drink is similar to lassi, but feels a bit more sour.

Tasty dishes. Still I felt like everything around cleanliness should be improved. I found a hair in the salad and the salads were a bit warm, as in not stored cool enough.. all in all very friendly and authentic. Taboulé and Labneh were our highlights. Baba Ganoush was heavily oily. Around 10€/ per portions as on the pictures. Kibbeh and fatajer came later. This was for 2 hungry people the only leftover was the baba ganoush.

May God preserve this blessing. There's no cleanliness, no food quality, nothing.

The service was great, everything was quick and fresh, but it is and remains a snack bar. Our meal cost €71, including two 0.25l Cokes and a tiny portion of fries that was brought out later – hot and greasy, but without salt. Quite nice, but too expensive.

We really enjoyed the special Syrian hospitality and friendly atmosphere. The menu was brilliant. We had lamb and chicken sheesh (which came on 2 skewers each) on well decorated plates of salad, fries and rice. For starters we had mutabbal with bread. Quite generous portions of food. Will definitely recommend to all friends who visit Amsterdam in future.

My wife and I had an outstanding dinner here on Sunday. We had the Moutabhl appetizer and both had Shish Taouk. The appetizer was phenomenal, I highly recommended trying it. The eggplant was so well balanced with the other ingredients that it was silky smooth and creamy. And finally a chef who knows how not to over cook chicken! The chunks of boneless breast were well marinated and juicy! Thanks for a wonderful dinner! It was also nice that the chef came out and asked us how we liked our meals, especially considering we walked in 5 minutes before closing time and they still served us like we were old friends.

The food was terrible. I ordered a shakshuka meal, and this was the worst shakshuka I've ever had in my life, and I'm 51 years old! It didn't taste like meat at all. They clearly haven't tasted the food they serve to customers. As for the price, this meal, which included the shakshuka meal, a glass of ayran, and a plate of mutabbal, cost 42 euros.

I saw the cook eating from what he plated for us on my way to the toilet. He even charged us for ketchup and mayo which we didn’t even open. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. The food was not fresh the kebabs tasted like they were 10 years old. This had a very weird taste. Even frozen kebabs are better than these. The flavour and taste was so basic they should not present themselves to be a restaurant as the quality didn’t even matching to a takeaway. And the spices and taste was nothing like how Syrian food tastes it was all basic seasoning. And still 26 euro for a single dish is absolutely ridiculous and unjustified. Bathroom tap had no option for warm water which is important when it’s freezing cold in Amsterdam. Total Waste of money.

I really love this restaurant. When I visited three years ago, I thought it was the most delicious meal I had in Europe. I stopped by again to reminisce about that time. The staff were friendly and welcomed us. It was such a delicious meal and a wonderful memory!

Palmyra Syrian is a fantastic Lebanese restaurant! The food is rich in flavor, freshly prepared, and packed with authentic Syrian-Lebanese spices. Very ordinary and has nothing to do with Lebanese food. I didn't like the kibbeh and arayes. The meat tasted strange. Mira's shawarma had a curry flavor!!! Only the good spring rolls. I don't think I'll go back to anything else.

Honestly, canned hummus costs 5 riyals and is too expensive. The shish tawook is burnt and solid, tasteless, colorless, and odorless. The fattoush is acceptable. Tomatoes, lettuce, toasted bread, and bread cost 10 riyals in a small bag. The bill is 230 riyals for two people. Cash is required. No Visa payments.
