Super friendly staff, delicious pancakes, and a fantastic pistachio ice cream dessert.

Had coffee a couple of times and also had a pancake. The terrace is located by the road at a roundabout, so there is always traffic passing by.

You could sit there comfortably, but it is still missing a few parasols. I had a delicious ice cream for the shade.

The restaurant is tastefully decorated and fairly new. The staff is friendly. The pancakes were cooked too quickly: light and not crispy, the taste was okay. We were there at 7 p.m. The venue was supposed to close at 8:30 p.m., which means that while we were still eating our pancakes, they kindly came to ask if we wanted ice cream after the pancake, otherwise they could start cleaning it. We assume we did. While eating the ice cream, the bill was brought and we were kindly asked to pay in advance, because "we are closing". We wanted to leave the restaurant through the same door we entered... It was locked. We opened it with the rotary knob. It turned out the glass doors were already locked as well. The staff were standing grouped by the bar, saw us standing there, but did not come to tell us where we could exit. These experiences were not very customer-oriented. The staff wanted to go home as soon as possible by 8:30 p.m.

Lovely sitting inside or enjoying the sun outside. The tomato soup is the best I have ever eaten. And the pancakes... delicious! Not those thick, half-baked ones, but really tasty and well-cooked.

We had a lovely lunch here. I had an apple and banana pancake and it was really delicious. Definitely worth repeating! The atmosphere is pleasant and it is a nice place to sit quietly for a while and enjoy lunch. The only downside I found was the service. The staff didn't walk by very often, making it difficult to order something extra. At one point, we were even thirsty and really had to make an effort to get their attention. Otherwise, the staff were friendly. All in all a good experience, but with a little more attention from the staff, it would be absolutely perfect.

I eat here often, usually for pancakes, and they are fair to good. This time I went for fries with Flemish beef stew. What a ridiculous price for what you get! 19.50 for a basket of fries and a small bowl of sauce containing exactly three pieces of something indefinable. No idea what it was, but it certainly wasn't beef stew. If you can't prepare this and can only charge a high price for it because otherwise you can't make ends meet, then just sell pancakes?

Pretty good pancakes, both the specialty pancakes and the customizable option. However, the restaurant isn't really suitable for groups. Furthermore, the wait staff only comes to ask once if you want something to drink, so make sure you order something substantial. Additionally, I have my doubts about how well the pans are cleaned, as I tasted the ginger from the pancake cooked before mine.

The food was mediocre; I ordered Flemish stew with fries. Little meat, lots of sauce, and fries for 19.50 euros. I find the price-quality ratio very skewed; you really pay a lot of money for a few pieces of meat with fries these days. I reported this to the staff but received no response. During busy periods, the number of parking spaces seems insufficient to me. It took me about 15 minutes to find a spot for the car.

I had made a reservation via Social Deal; I thought it would be a nice meal out with my husband for a change. The food was fine, but the service staff did their best. First, we received drinks before the soup. I thought, "Great!" Then we were given the choice of a pancake. Once we made our choice, the wait staff brought our pancakes, but I thought it was a shame that the staff didn't ask if we wanted anything else to drink, because they saw that our glasses and bottles of drinks were empty. Then we were allowed to choose dessert, and still they didn't ask anything about drinks. So we thought, "Let's skip the drinks." We ate the dessert and paid for the drinks. We always enjoyed dining there, but this time we were served quickly and looked at because we had used Social Deal, as if we had to eat quickly and then get lost. That was the feeling we got; very disappointing.

Well, wrong pancake. "We'll make the right one asap." ... And then they forgot. Sorry, sorry, you get it for free.

We went to this "pancake restaurant" last week, and the pancakes were tasteless. Unfortunately, we were really hungry and didn't feel like making a fuss. Everything on the menu is around €19.00, and the plates are cold, which means the pancakes get cold quickly. The best part of the pancake was the topping; the pancake itself tasted very bland. The toppings also varied considerably in flavor. Dessert took a long time, and the waitstaff/kitchen staff grab spoons by the eating surface, which isn't very appetizing. Next time, we'll drive a bit further to Arnhem. We'd never been here before, but yes, it used to be better.

What a fantastic restaurant! Really lovely atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff, and delicious pancakes too! Tasty crispy bacon, a big pot of syrup on the table, and a perfectly made three-tiered Latte macchiato. The only downside? I don't visit the area very often ;-)

Pancake house De Langenberg is located on the outskirts of Ede, near the De Ginkel nature reserve, where you can enjoy wonderful walks. The restaurant is cozy and offers plenty of privacy. The service is friendly and attentive. When it's busy, you'll need to be patient. Payment is made at a cash register near the exit. For lunch, we opted for a farmer's omelet and a beef cappaccio sandwich instead of pancakes. Both were delicious! The prices are competitive. Including one drink, we paid exactly €30.

I'm a very optimistic person, but now I have to be negatively critical. I was a fan of the pancakes and the atmosphere for years. However, I've noticed that since this year (2025), I've gone home several times very irritated and disappointed. This was due to the service. The temperature was a red/orange warning, I was with a large group of big eaters, and we asked for a pitcher of water, which we didn't receive. There was no empathy, and the staff showed no enthusiasm for their work. We were simply ignored. I went again later, alone, to try again, and unfortunately, it was even worse then. No glance, no eye contact, no sympathy, and no water with the three-course meal. I asked for a glass of water and didn't get it. It's a shame, because they used to like it back in the day. Hospitality training would be the tip to save this business. But yes, I understand that finding/hiring good staff is difficult these days. I can only wish you "good luck."

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The children were also given a tasting menu, and that for €11, with drinks for €3 per soft drink. I personally expected a bit more flavor from the pancake. This one was just like home from a can. I've eaten elsewhere before, and there you tasted more of a crispy "grandma's pancake." But that's a personal preference. The service was truly excellent, and the kids could play outside. There was a wide selection of seating, including a covered veranda with a glass wall, or indoors. We shared a dessert to finish, and with a round-up and one juice per person, we had a meal for €45.

I arrived just an hour ago. There were two of us. We were at table 6. There was nothing left at the table for 2. Then a colleague came over and was very grumpy. You had to go to the table for 2. While there was nothing there for 2 people. Everything was full. Your colleague can say it normally. I saw a lot of people at table 6 for 2 people. "We have to leave," makes no sense.

Staff had little time for guests 1 x at the table if you want something to drink there was no one seen after that...too bad..

It's worth stopping by for a delicious pancake. A beautiful location, and four-legged friends are also made welcome. There's always a bowl of fresh water after a walk in the nearby forest.

The pancakes arrived quickly and tasted good. I was less impressed with the service. The fresh orange juice wasn't available because the machine was broken. It happens. But when you then make a fuss about a regular glass of water (which we're not allowed to serve), I find it hard to stomach.

Young staff who are still learning customer service skills, including "please and thank you." No syrup or powdered sugar was placed or brought to the table. We had to ask for it at this pancake shop.

Beautifully renovated in 2025. The conservatory and terrace have been given a modern, lounge feel. Unfortunately, there are also hard chairs without cushions. The menu has been reduced to 15 specialty pancakes and a create-your-own option. The charm of choosing from lists of delicious combinations is no longer possible. The coloring pages and large jar of syrup are only served indoors, not on the conservatory or terrace. The service was somewhat impersonal and distant, but the food was very tasty.

Pancakes were on the menu, and for the third year in a row, we went to De Langenberg in Ede on a Wednesday evening. Finding a parking spot wasn't easy; I think it was very busy. It took a while after ordering, but we were kept well-informed. There were two large groups that caused the delay. We found the quality to be excellent. The Spicy Italian, Tuna, and Wild Stew pancakes were delicious, and the desserts were also excellent. Finally, compliments to the staff, who are exceptionally friendly. In short: Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I are from South Limburg. And when we're on a day trip to the central or northern parts of the country, we like to make a detour to end the day here and enjoy a delicious meal. This restaurant gets 5 stars from me because the food is excellent. You can order not only pancakes, but there's also room on the menu for other tasty options like a grilled cheese sandwich or a hamburger. The service is also excellent. You don't have to wait long for anything. Our pancake was on the table just 8 minutes after ordering. If you don't have much time or don't want to spend on dining out, you can have a great meal here and enjoy it to the fullest.

After a lovely ride on the e-chopper we rented here, we enjoyed some delicious pancakes. And that's definitely a treat here. The service was fast, there was plenty of room on the terrace, and the pancakes were delicious! 🙂 In my opinion, the best in the area. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the parking. It's a bit too tight, with people parking everywhere, making it even tighter. I think cars often leave here with scratches. 🫢 If you're from the area, go by bike 😉

Very tasty food. Service was typical for the Netherlands, not bad but not what you may be used to if you're not from here.

The pancake is truly terrible. A far-too-thick, tasteless ball of dough. The service is fine and they really try their best, but I'm truly amazed at how you can serve such a bad pancake at a pancake house.

No lemonade, it happened to be broken. The bread was tough (old), unfortunately. The pancakes weren't really cooked through, quite pale. The table remained sticky despite being wiped down, and there was food scraps everywhere. Otherwise, not much to do for the kids. Last time for me!
