Delicious fresh pancakes. Friendly staff.

I'm a very optimistic person, but now I have to be negatively critical. I was a fan of the pancakes and the atmosphere for years. However, I've noticed that since this year (2025), I've gone home several times very irritated and disappointed. This was due to the service. The temperature was a red/orange warning, I was with a large group of big eaters, and we asked for a pitcher of water, which we didn't receive. There was no empathy, and the staff showed no enthusiasm for their work. We were simply ignored. I went again later, alone, to try again, and unfortunately, it was even worse then. No glance, no eye contact, no sympathy, and no water with the three-course meal. I asked for a glass of water and didn't get it. It's a shame, because they used to like it back in the day. Hospitality training would be the tip to save this business. But yes, I understand that finding/hiring good staff is difficult these days. I can only wish you "good luck."

Nice, atmospheric place to eat. Good service, and I was there through a social deal. I had a pancake with three toppings and dessert...it was incredibly delicious!

We spontaneously took a detour from the motorway because we were craving Dutch pancakes. A very extensive menu with pancakes to suit every taste. Good service and the food was cooked quickly.

Our table was too small, but we weren't allowed to move another table. It took a long time before we could finally order a drink. The pancakes could definitely be fluffier. All in all, the atmosphere wasn't great, and the service and food left much to be desired.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The children were also given a tasting menu, and that for €11, with drinks for €3 per soft drink. I personally expected a bit more flavor from the pancake. This one was just like home from a can. I've eaten elsewhere before, and there you tasted more of a crispy "grandma's pancake." But that's a personal preference. The service was truly excellent, and the kids could play outside. There was a wide selection of seating, including a covered veranda with a glass wall, or indoors. We shared a dessert to finish, and with a round-up and one juice per person, we had a meal for €45.

I arrived just an hour ago. There were two of us. We were at table 6. There was nothing left at the table for 2. Then a colleague came over and was very grumpy. You had to go to the table for 2. While there was nothing there for 2 people. Everything was full. Your colleague can say it normally. I saw a lot of people at table 6 for 2 people. "We have to leave," makes no sense.

It's worth stopping by for a delicious pancake. A beautiful location, and four-legged friends are also made welcome. There's always a bowl of fresh water after a walk in the nearby forest.

Let's eat something together. The dog was welcome to come inside.

Stopped by during a bike ride. Had a drink and a pancake. Service was quick and friendly. The pancakes were fine, nothing special. There are plenty of other options on the lunch menu.

The pancakes arrived quickly and tasted good. I was less impressed with the service. The fresh orange juice wasn't available because the machine was broken. It happens. But when you then make a fuss about a regular glass of water (which we're not allowed to serve), I find it hard to stomach.

Young staff who are still learning customer service skills, including "please and thank you." No syrup or powdered sugar was placed or brought to the table. We had to ask for it at this pancake shop.

Beautifully renovated in 2025. The conservatory and terrace have been given a modern, lounge feel. Unfortunately, there are also hard chairs without cushions. The menu has been reduced to 15 specialty pancakes and a create-your-own option. The charm of choosing from lists of delicious combinations is no longer possible. The coloring pages and large jar of syrup are only served indoors, not on the conservatory or terrace. The service was somewhat impersonal and distant, but the food was very tasty.

My boyfriend and I are from South Limburg. And when we're on a day trip to the central or northern parts of the country, we like to make a detour to end the day here and enjoy a delicious meal. This restaurant gets 5 stars from me because the food is excellent. You can order not only pancakes, but there's also room on the menu for other tasty options like a grilled cheese sandwich or a hamburger. The service is also excellent. You don't have to wait long for anything. Our pancake was on the table just 8 minutes after ordering. If you don't have much time or don't want to spend on dining out, you can have a great meal here and enjoy it to the fullest.

Pancakes were on the menu, and for the third year in a row, we went to De Langenberg in Ede on a Wednesday evening. Finding a parking spot wasn't easy; I think it was very busy. It took a while after ordering, but we were kept well-informed. There were two large groups that caused the delay. We found the quality to be excellent. The Spicy Italian, Tuna, and Wild Stew pancakes were delicious, and the desserts were also excellent. Finally, compliments to the staff, who are exceptionally friendly. In short: Highly recommended.

After a lovely ride on the e-chopper we rented here, we enjoyed some delicious pancakes. And that's definitely a treat here. The service was fast, there was plenty of room on the terrace, and the pancakes were delicious! 🙂 In my opinion, the best in the area. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the parking. It's a bit too tight, with people parking everywhere, making it even tighter. I think cars often leave here with scratches. 🫢 If you're from the area, go by bike 😉

Very tasty food. Service was typical for the Netherlands, not bad but not what you may be used to if you're not from here.

The pancake is truly terrible. A far-too-thick, tasteless ball of dough. The service is fine and they really try their best, but I'm truly amazed at how you can serve such a bad pancake at a pancake house.

No lemonade, it happened to be broken. The bread was tough (old), unfortunately. The pancakes weren't really cooked through, quite pale. The table remained sticky despite being wiped down, and there was food scraps everywhere. Otherwise, not much to do for the kids. Last time for me!

The pancakes were fine, only my son's pancake had a hair in it (that's disgusting). I brought it up with the waitress, she frowned, and that was it. We've been coming here for decades, this was the first mistake (not solved properly).

The pancakes were great again, as always! Delicious food and a small portion of poffertjes for our daughter. We will be back!

Leuke plek, vriendelijke bediening. Heerlijke pannenkoek met pulled chicken gegeten. Voldoende keus op de menukaart ook als je geen pannenkoeken trek hebt.

Service is friendly, nice restaurant. My shoarma pancake was not tasty because the meat was fried bone dry. Instead of iceberg lettuce (according to the menu) there was lollo rosso lettuce on it and this becomes bitter when heated. Yuck. Reported to staff, no follow-up from their side. Price/quality is not in balance, much too expensive for this quality of pancakes. My first and last visit to this restaurant.

Very nice place for lunch or dinner. You have to wait 10 to 15 minutes for your order depending on the number of people. The pancakes were delicious! There is plenty of space and tables in the restaurant. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. I recommend it;) The downside is that there are not many parking spaces for such a large restaurant :(

3 course meal eaten via social deal, and we will definitely come back. Service was friendly, food served quickly and very tasty. Portions are big enough and what I couldn't finish was neatly put in a box to take home. Price quality definitely in order, even if you don't have a social deal. Recommended 👍🏻

The farmer's pancakes were not cooked at first. After the pancakes had been in the pan again it was better. The nachos as a starter were really great.

Strange that dessert comes first

Felt ripped off tonight, had to pay an extra 10 euros for 2 desserts because we wanted advocaat instead of chocolate sauce, a lot of money for a thimble of advocaat

Het is een heerlijk plekje, mooie, gezellige en rustige inrichting en vriendelijke bediening. We hebben lekker gegeten en er is allerlei keuze, ook als je geen zin hebt in pannenkoeken. Het eten was smaakvol en niet téveel of te grote pannenkoeken en je hoefde niet lang op je drinken en eten te wachten. De kinderen vonden het speelboekje, het cadeautje & de puzzel ook erg leuk om te ontvangen. Ze voelden zich helemaal verwend. Tip voor het gerecht van de poffertjesproeverij; de boter wordt niet los geserveerd en was compleet gesmolten toen het bij ons werd opgediend. De poffertjes zwommen in het boter en de poedersuiker was amper meer te zien. Onze zoon wilde er niet aan beginnen daardoor. Ik zou adviseren om de boter los erbij te serveren, net als de slagroom/marshmellows en smarties. Dan kunnen kinderen dit ook naar behoefte toevoegen en is het niet gelijk een overvettige bedoening op je bord.

Pancakes were not baked long enough, we reported this politely, but nothing was done about it and nothing was returned?! While we were having a cup of coffee, a young girl was cleaning tables with a yellow cleaning cloth. To our surprise, that same cloth was used to clean the syrup jars and the inside rims as well as the outside and inside lids!!! GATVER!!! This girl can't do anything about it, apparently the guidance there is worthless, your staff should be taught this! If you want to run the risk of becoming seriously ill, I recommend eating here, hygiene is scandalous, we will never come there again!!!

Went there for Panckakes. Service was slow , and the staff was very friendly . I had a Panckakecake with chicken and egg. It was super salty . My friend has pan cake with berries which weren't fresh. For the premium price they charge , food quality is super terrible . It's the worst pancakes we ever had . Restaurant itself is not very cozy and toilets were like narnia

We had a voucher that we could eat 1 pancake with 3 ingredients for free and had to pay for a second one ourselves, when we go to pay we have to pay for the most expensive one, we could just talk about what we wanted but we couldn't manage it, a bad move, I won't go there again.

Cozy pancake house with an extensive menu. I had the Spicy Italian pancake, but there was so much pesto on it that the taste took over everything. Parking was also difficult, we had to stand on the side of the road. So if you come by car, take some extra time to find a spot!

Slechte bediening, onprofessioneel, ze laten je lang wachten, etc. Geen goed woord voor over. Op zijn best amateurs, maar ze worden waarschijnlijk gewoon slecht aangestuurd door het management.

Eating a pancake with the three of us. We were assigned a table and then no one came to ask what we wanted to order. They did come to the table next to us, but they didn't look around or anything, but they immediately walked back. After a long wait, I got someone myself. When we finished our food they came to pick up the plates. We were not asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. We waited for a while but no one came. So we settled.

The pancake was undercooked and tasted like dough. After the pancake was sent back, the dough continued to bite. Too bad there is no quality chef who can solve it properly. Paid normally. Reported again, but no initiative to solve it.

Had dinner here last Saturday on the occasion of my mother's wedding. Reserved for 19 people. Everything went quite well until we were halfway through our dessert and the children had barely started, when a waitress came to ask if we could hurry up because the table was reserved for the next guest. Not much later, to reinforce this story, the bill arrived and was placed on the table without saying anything, all while the children were still halfway through the dessert. We spent over €500 here and feel treated like trash. For us this was the last time at this always so nice restaurant.

Pleasantly surprised, had not been here for a long time, but this has changed a lot with a positive and trendy update. Good food and nice location.
