Despite being busy and not having a reservation, we still managed to get a table. The pancakes were delicious, the service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable.

Just good together with the family

We had a delicious meal with our two children. Upon arrival, a high chair and bib were already waiting for the little one! The play area was also very nicely decorated and there were plenty of toys for several children. The pancakes were generously topped. Just the right amount so you don't feel completely stuffed (or unable to finish the pancake).

Delicious food and hospitable staff. We had a very pleasant stay. Thumbs up!

Delicious food, great value, super sweet ladies. A very child-friendly place (we also did the gnome walk, highly recommended for small children). Everything was very clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, we weren't lucky with the weather, but the children could still play safely inside. A solid 10/10!

Wij waren heel tevreden met de vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Het eten was heerlijk en wij hadden een heel uitgebreide keuze. Zeker warm aanbevolen voor gezinnen of groepen. Ongetwijfeld een pareltje in Twente.

Atmosphere very cozy + staff very friendly here no comments about. However, the pancakes were very disappointing. Previously I always went to Mr Pancake and after hearing that they have taken over the poacher I obviously had to go here. Unfortunately the pancake was wafer-thin and there were considerably less toppings on it than before in Enschede. Very unfortunate, I will not go there anymore because of this.

We went here because it was taken over by Mr. Pancake. But we were shocked by the food. This has been heavily overhauled by shrinkflation. Much thinner than it was at Mr. Pancake, less filling, nothing at the edges even. I hope they will correct this. May cost more if that is the reason.

I clearly expected more from this, especially for that price. Nice on the terrace, friendly service, that was it. Pancakes poorly filled and with tough fake cheese upside down on the plate. The party flags on the pancakes could not raise the level any further. But at least we ate and the taste was reasonable.

Echt heerlijke pannekoeken, de variant met o.a spinazie en gerookte zalm is verrukkelijk. En daarnaast een prettige en vlotte bediening. Een aanrader voor als je in de buurtvan De Lutte bent

Great atmosphere, nice and cozy with style, very child-friendly, high chair for babies and children as well as bibs, children's play area, you also get something to paint with, unfortunately the only catch is that there is no German menu and you have to know the brand of drinks that they are called, Chocomel, Fristi or something like that. Otherwise very tasty, loving food. But strangely the waiter said no capers, but there were capers in the tartar sauce if you ordered it with salmon. But I don't know if it's just in the tartar sauce or if they have capers. I would love to have them on the pancakes :)

Totally a fan of the Stroper, the atmosphere is so cozy, a beautiful place to first take a walk and then eat a pancake. This is highly recommended!

Simply fantastic and delicious! We became aware of the restaurant mainly because of the entries in the relevant Internet forums for celiac disease, as our son suffers from gluten intolerance. The staff were perfectly knowledgeable and there was even a separate set of syrup and powdered sugar just for those with celiac disease! Absolute recommendation for people with and without celiac disease!

We each ate a delicious pancake outside on the terrace, friendly staff, quick service. Wide choice, and a nice play area for the children next to the terrace. Highly recommended.

At first you think "just a pancake" but they know their stuff. Very creative and tasty made the pancakes, really good. Everything was clean and the waitress tried to understand us.

After a nice walk we sat here and ordered a cup of coffee and apple pie. The apple pie is highly recommended, it is home-baked and tastes perfect!! really recommended.

Super tasty pancakes and a nice relaxed atmosphere

This was the start of the Heurnetocht in De Lutte. After that time we ate a delicious bacon pancake. And from the owner a contribution to our campaign The Forgotten Child, thank you again.

In the past the food was always delicious and the service was friendly. However, in the last year I have also visited a number of times for a cup of coffee and something tasty during mountain bike rides. Unfortunately, you will be treated less kindly on the terrace (than with your nice clothes on) and it will be difficult because you will have to park your valuable mountain bike a little closer on an almost empty terrace than in the bicycle shed further away where such a bicycle does not fit. To top it all off, we found out yesterday that they have barricaded the terrace with a fence with, you guessed it, bicycles prohibited. The message now is to put your expensive mountain bike/racing bike as far away as possible so that they can easily take it with them, or perhaps: stay away. Empathy, at a pancake restaurant on the edge of the forest, is nil for this target group. Update April 21, 2024: After about 5 years, I gave it another chance, but unfortunately.... We were met at the door by the owner with the pointed question whether we were coming for dinner or coffee. Coffee with something tasty was the answer. We were allowed to sit at the large table. When asked if she had a smaller table, she walked to the larger room behind it and wanted to give us a smaller table right next to other people, while the entire room was empty with reserved tables for the evening, it was 1:30 PM at that time. Partly because these people, logically, did not appreciate the action, we left... In the meantime, we have found out that the restaurant is for sale and we hope that a new owner will do better...

Had a nice dinner with the family tonight, good service and a nice restaurant. Will definitely come back!

As part of our visit to De Lutte, where our group has been staying for a week for many years at group accommodation 't Keampke, the final meal is always at Pannenkoekenhuis "De Stroper". In addition to the relaxed atmosphere and the delicious pancakes, it is always a party for us. Would love to come again next year.

De pannenkoeken zijn heerlijk. De eigenaresse was erg onaardig en negeerde ons bij het stellen van een vraag. We zagen dat ze wel vriendelijk kon praten tegen mensen zonder kinderen. Misschien was dat het probleem. Toch vreemd voor een pannenkoekenhuis. Het jongere personeel was wel vriendelijk.

Afhaal ontdekt, super goed te doen, even de borden voorverwarmen in de oven en je pannekoek blijft heerlijk warm. Suiker en stroop krijg je erbij.

Die Pfannkuchen sind in dem Lokal sehr lecker. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und man wird schnell mit dem bestellten Essen bedient. Das Restaurant kann ich zu 100% weiter empfehlen.

Wij hebben een nieuwe hobby, Pannekoeken restaurants bezoeken. Deze keer kwamen we uit bij de Stroper in De Lutte. We kwamen aan fietsen en de eerste indruk was, leuk terras en niet al te groot . We werden vriendelijk gegroet en de vriendelijkheid is tot aan dat we weggingen zo gebleven. Pannenkoek was ontzettend lekker en zekers niet vet, dus voor herhaling vatbaar. Het toetje een ijscoupe was eveneens zo lekker . Dus voor een goed pannenkoek restaurant ga je naar de Stroper in de Lutte .

'Per ongeluk ' hier terecht gekomen, niet gereserveerd dus we moesten even wachten. Dat geeft alleen maar aan dat dit een populaire plaats is om te gaan eten. Gekozen voor pannekoek valkuil en stroperij alhoewel de special van de chef ook aantrekkelijk klonk. Met een volle buik konden we onze weg weer vervolgen. Zeker een aanrader!

Heel veel keuzes uit een pallet van pannekoeken. Vriendelijke bediening, leuke lokatie

Rijk belegde pannenkoeken, smaakvol en voldoende voor een avondmaaltijd. Bediening is heel vriendelijk. De eetzalen zijn ruim, met veel bezoekers kan het luidruchtig worden, maar prima. Voor de kleine kinderen is een speeltuin buiten en een speelhoek binnen.

Paar jaar geleden voor t eerst hier geweest. Eindelijk weer eens terug geweest. Een pannenkoek op t leek wel een pizza zoveel er op. Ik had De Boswachter en mijn vriendin Houtwal. Echte aanrader. Buiten leuk zitten. Binnen weten wij niet dus vandaar 4 sterren voor de sfeer. Ik heb genoten.
