What a beautiful area to walk and later enjoy a nice meal, etc.

Surrounded by greenery, this place was a very pleasant surprise. Excellent food, fast and friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Well... nice ambiance in nature. The food was relatively good. Service was chaotic and uncoordinated. We were there with 20 people. Some were simply skipped for orders. This resulted in constant delays with drinks and food. The staff is friendly but needs training. The food is very good (actually), although the steaks were served well-done instead of medium. The beef capaccio was delicious, even though it was dressed completely differently than stated on the menu. For example, Parmesan cheese was missing (as stated on the menu).

After a nice walk with the kids, this is the ideal place for a drink with a playground!

Top location and delicious food

Had a very disappointing staff outing here today. I've honestly never eaten so poorly for so much money. Hamburger and a few fries. €20. Nothing with it. No salad, nothing! A disgusting, thick hamburger. It looked like it had been cooked sous vide. The first time I got my hamburger, it was practically cold. By the time I got my replacement, everyone else was almost done eating. Who the hell thinks of serving a hamburger on a hard bun? A few rings of onion and tomato. Bacon had only been on the grill for two minutes, and a dollop of sauce. The average diner serves better food. You should be ashamed to charge so much for this! What my colleagues had on their plates wasn't even worth the money. The people who proclaim the food is delicious either have very low standards or something wrong with their taste buds. You'll never see me again!

Great spot in Lutterzand with a playground. The kids had a blast after the walk! Last time we had coffee and pastries here, two coffees and four pastries, costing €30. We were a bit taken aback by that 🤭 But they had a very nice vegan option with the pastries for our daughter with allergies 🤩

The place is very beautiful, its terrace is surrounded by beautiful trees and you can hear the melody of all those beautiful birds that inhabit the area.

Just had a glass of wine and a shot, which was fine. You're not allowed to smoke on the patio, but that's not bad in 2025.

We ate here with our two young children (1 and 3 years old), but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. When we made our reservation we had asked for a high chair. When we arrived it was not ready and the waitress directed me to get one myself “at the toilets”, as if we were in a self-service restaurant. We sat at the table for over 15 minutes before someone came for the drinks. When taking the order we indicated that we only wanted a main course, with a basket of bread first — but that the food could be requested immediately. After 20 minutes we asked where the bread was. It was only then that it was brought from the kitchen. Then after 10 minutes we asked about the food: it turned out that it had not even been passed on to the kitchen. In the end we only got our food after an hour. With two small children that is simply far too long. The food itself was also disappointing. The schnitzel was bland, the fries extremely salty and the garnish tasteless. The children's menu was served on a large plate with regular cutlery — not practical for toddlers. The pancake was also so big that it hung off the plate… not very "children's" about it. All in all, not a pleasant experience, and certainly not a place we'll be returning to anytime soon.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food! Dogs are welcome both inside (clean and dry) and outside and there are many drinking bowls available. Lovely to combine with a walk. The restaurant pays attention to details and I can always appreciate that, nice smell in the toilet, real flowers on the table, nicely set plates and friendly and attentive staff.

Beautifully situated restaurant... in the beautifully decorated playground they can play to their heart's content. And if the weather gods let you down, there are various boxes with toys, coloring pages and play mats, such as snakes and ladders, twister and ludo! In addition to the 'Kinder A la Carte card' they also have a sandwich with chocolate sprinkles or jam, fries and of course delicious home-made pancakes! And for dessert you can choose a nice forest gnome. Tip: when the weather is nice you can take a nice dip in the river De Dinkel, look for water animals or walk and cycle in the area! You can also celebrate fun children's parties here, such as treasure hunting with a real tablet and metal detector! However, if they have a wedding behind the restaurant, they sometimes forget to walk on the terrace.

I don't understand why you serve croquettes that have no taste, not even with mustard l. This is a great shame

Located in a beautiful, wooded walking and cycling area. Spacious, partly covered terrace with tables where a gas heater is installed. Stylish, classic brown decorated restaurant, bar and various large and small rooms. We were completely satisfied with our choice from the extensive lunch menu.

I had shared a dish with my granddaughter; The waitress knew that, but unfortunately she didn't bother to bring an extra plate. Small effort, big gesture.

Disappointing visit – not recommended We were in the restaurant today with four children and two adults and were initially served friendly drinks, but then unfortunately completely ignored. Despite asking the waiter for someone to come to order, no one came. Two young women, apparently responsible for our area, apparently had more important things to do - they preferred to drink tea and no longer paid us any attention. After a long wait and no further service, we finally left. We found it particularly outrageous that one of the ladies even laughed when our daughter bumped into herself on the way out. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable – especially in a restaurant that is designed to be family-friendly. It's a shame about the beautiful location, but we definitely won't be coming back.

After a walk we enjoyed a drink here. There was a nice atmosphere. The little one enjoyed himself in the playground.

Incredibly weak cappuccino, and I believe the black coffee had no taste either. I returned it and was offered a new one, very friendly but still just as tasty: hot water with milk foam. It's vending machine coffee, which I can't blame them for in such a beautiful, busy location. Next time I'll have tea, no one can mess that up.

Very nice to be here, 1/2 hour from Enschede and you imagine yourself in a completely different environment. Beautiful nature, Dinkel and the Lutterzand.

Christmas brunch on Christmas Day Very friendly, homely atmosphere, friendly staff.

The service was very friendly and a bit clumsy at times. I myself ate a risotto. It tasted fine, but nothing special. Others in the party were not pleased with the schnitzels served. The crust of the schnitzels was not as expected. I wouldn't return for dinner anytime soon. The location seems more suitable for brunch or a cup of coffee after a walk.

Cozy large forest house in a beautiful setting....here on Lutterzand you can walk endlessly over the heath and through the woods.

You can sit beautifully under a canopy with a small table fireplace after a hike and continue to enjoy the view of the great landscape. There is a small menu for the afternoon with typical dishes for a Dutch excursion restaurant: pancake variations, snacks, cakes...

A very nice spot on the Dinkel where you can enjoy a delicious meal.

We celebrated our annual team outing here, prior to which we took a canoe trip on the Dinkel, after which a delicious Barbecue Braai was ready for us, well arranged. We will definitely come back again.

Came across this great restaurant by chance during a long bike ride. The outdoor area in particular seemed very inviting. The service was very friendly and attentive. The apple pancakes we ordered came after just a few minutes and tasted excellent. We would also go straight to this restaurant.

Been coming here for more than 50 years, so childhood sentiment and it still feels like my second home. De Lutte, Denekamp and so on.

My husband held his "farewell tour" here for weeks with friends and family when he had a brain tumor that had been treated. What attentive, lovely people work here. After his death I received a card from the staff. Today, after 5 months, I was shaken by the hand and asked how I am doing. That did me good. Of course I come here often.

A lovely spot, with a beautifully spacious and large terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner outdoors (or under a canopy). Also a nice place for a drink and a snack. The service is attentive and very friendly. After ordering, the food was at the table very quickly and everything tasted delicious and fresh. The teriyaki chicken is especially recommended. Large playground next to the terrace for the children.
