Pasar Raya in Indischewijk

We've been enjoying Pasar Raya Haarlem for years. The couple who run it are incredibly friendly, hospitable, and hardworking. Everything is prepared with so much love and in the traditional way. The Indonesian dishes are truly delicious and carefully prepared. Even though we no longer live in Haarlem, we still love driving back just to have them. Nothing is too much trouble; they always think along with you and make your visit very personal and special. Highly recommended! For us, it's the best place in Haarlem for authentic Indonesian food.

I've been coming here for over 10 years. The food is amazing. I moved from Haarlem to Beverwijk four years ago, and I still come here for my Indonesian food. The owners are lovely people who prepare the food with great passion.

Very tasty Indonesian food 👌❤️❤️only the queue is a little slow but it's worth waiting for 😌portions are large, we took the menu for two but there was enough for the next day 😅🤪

Always super tasty, never get it anywhere else

It is really very tasty, I regularly come here to pick up, and once or twice a year we order a buffet for ÷ 40 people, which is then delivered in warming containers, everything is very well taken care of and sufficient, soon we will have a nice and tasty meal again.

I expected a lot after reading so many positive reviews. But I really didn't like the food. It did not taste fresh, the flavors were mainly heavy and therefore not very refined. I didn't eat it all and threw the rest away. That is really exceptional for me. There are much better shops in Haarlem.

"LEKKER" This is just the most amazing Indonesian take-away. Hot tip: come early so you have a wide variety of choice. All freshly cooked. All super lekker. Meaty and veggie options - all so tasty. Great take-away when you have a dinner with friends. They also offer sharing menus.

De allerbeste Indonesische toko van Haarlem. Heerlijke gerechten met liefde en smaak gemaakt. Woon zelf in Epe maar kom regelmatig in Haarlem op bezoek bij mijn dochter. Dan altijd de lekkerste dingen halen bij Pasar Raya.

Vriendelijke bediening, ruime keuze, grote porties maar vooral heel erg lekker eten. Wat mij betreft de beste toko van Haarlem.

Ons hele gezin, dat ondertussen verspreid over Haarlem woont, komt hier al jaren. Het eten is mega lekker en de mensen zijn super vriendelijk. Hou er rekening mee dat op de drukke momenten je even moet wachten want ze nemen vriendelijk de tijd voor de persoon die aan de beurt is. Dit vind ik zelf wel iets moois.

In verband met een verjaardag hebben wij hier catering besteld. Dat was echt een feestje op zich. Erg goede en vriendelijke service en heerlijk eten! En die kipsate…. Heerlijk!

Wat is dit toch een feestje! Voor een 50tig jarig jubileum door Pasar Raya de volledige catering laten doen. Wat hebben wij heerlijk gegeten. Nogmaals onze dank. Pim en Anne

Catering voor 30 personen besteld, wat goed geregeld! Op de afgesproken tijd alles bezorgd en netjes klaargezet. Het eten was heel erg lekker, voor een enkeling iets té pittig maar dat vonden andere juist weer heerlijk. Dit gaan we vaker doen!

Twee keer geweest, altijd druk. Ze hebben heerlijke rijsttafel en alles is met liefde gemaakt.

Onze favoriete toko in Haarlem! Heel lekker eten, mega vriendelijk personeel en een goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. We wonen nu iets meer dan een jaar in deze buurt en we hebben verschillende toko’s geprobeerd. Wij vinden Pasar Raya by far de lekkerste!

Heerlijke echte Indonesiër! Rijsttafel voor 10 personen besteld. Echt heel lekker gegeten. Ruim voldoende. We komen hier zeker weer eten bestellen.
