Bad food, bad service, dilapidated interior. Booked and paid for via Tripper All you can eat. Also made a reservation at the restaurant. Upon arrival, nothing was known about a reservation, I even had the reservation confirmation in my hand. We were allowed to eat but had to pay again on the spot. Very bad. There were also no other guests in the restaurant. So paid twice and both Tripper and Payal pretend they know nothing. I will never go here again. A big scam.

We purchased dining coupons through Groupon, but we've had nothing but trouble trying to use them. Before our visit, we called the hotel, and they informed us they were closed. A week later, we called again and were told the kitchen was being renovated. Two weeks later, we decided to visit in person, only to find the owner sitting outside. He told us he was looking for a new cook. Throughout the conversation, he kept repeating that he had been in business for 30 years, which seemed irrelevant and concerning. If his restaurant is closed indefinitely, it would be responsibility of him to remove it from Groupon until it reopens. As it stands, he's misleading customers. We strongly advise against buying coupons for this restaurant, as you might find yourself in a similar frustrating situation.

We had bought a groupon for 4 people. When we arrived the cook was sick. It can happen, but we were not called even though I had made a reservation. Groupon also refuses to give money back without confirmation from Payal that this has happened. I have emailed and called them twice about this but they do not send the confirmation or just arrange this with groupon.

Waited 1hr 45 mins after order was confirmed. Not a time saving place.

Bad restaurant, they are not open at the opening hours stated online, they are not open by phone and they look bad. It is not recommended.

Tap water was given to us for 3 euros per glass. And we were told about a more expensive course dinner and without asking us if we wanted it, it was assumed that that was our choice, which made it 20 euros more expensive. All in all, not worth the price. If I knew I had to pay 68 euros for this, I would much rather have eaten at a sushi restaurant.

Worst experience of my life. It was never been so disappointing being in an Indian restaurant. We reserved a buffet. Once we reach there, it was empty, only 4 ppl on 1 table. Then the waiter/manager told us that he ll refill few dish and then we can start. That was first surprise, but we thought may be it was crowded before so they want to refill. But as we were a family of 3, he literally filled 1 plate of (delivery serving box) few dishes and asked us to start. Not all the items listed on the online menu as buffet menu was not there+ very limited quantity of each(don’t know if any corner of world this is called buffet). Food taste was horrible. Please don’t waste ur money going this place. Even rice was also hard like raw. Even they know to serve/ ask glass of water first.

My daughter was eating here with her father. She was served chicken that was still raw on the inside. A foul smell came from the toilet. Her chair was broken and so was the table. She was very wobbly. Bad thing.

The food seemed stale and outdated, lacking freshness. The tables and atmosphere were unclean and lacked hygiene.

We have been ordering from Payal for years, but the service is getting worse and worse. Last time a dish was missing and the food was delivered 45 minutes late. Today the food was delivered almost two hours late and it was cold. This really isn't possible. Subsequently, they cannot be reached by telephone or email to file a complaint.

Waited 3 hours and still nothing delivered. Order canceled but no refund received. Scammers

We used the All you can eat recipe and the food was certainly not disappointing. The atmosphere is not cozy & you have to ask for your own drinks, but what do you want for €20 pp :). Great place to eat.

Where do I start sharing my experience. When we entered it took a while before we were helped. A letter stating odor nuisance was taped to the toilet door. We were placed next to the toilet. The table top was loose. It was a wobbly experience. Crockery could use some cleaning. Plates and cutlery were very dirty. There was still caked-on old food residue on it. I asked for another spoon and the response was as if I had asked for money from the cash register. It took a long time for food to be replenished. The warming containers always contained portions of food for 2 people. And there were at least 21 people in the restaurant. Everyone was focused on when the new load would be replenished. There is no price list for dessert or drinks. So you cannot check whether the prices are correct. Not to be repeated.

We were 5 people. The food was tasty, everything was fine. We advise!

What a bad tent. Had dinner with 6 friends yesterday. Now I just have a rumbling stomach. The waiter walks comfortably with his coat on. Huge stench from the kitchen, huge sewer smell.

Order done. Canceled and no refund yet. The restaurant is very difficult to reach by telephone. Definitely don't order!!

You can't call it a restaurant. There are some chairs and a table with warming containers. Very unpleasant, no atmosphere. The food was okay in taste. However, most of it was gone and it was not replenished. It took at least 20 minutes for the drinks to be taken. The staff was disinterested and seemed to have little interest. Very unfortunate, because we love Indian food. But this is certainly not recommended. Never experienced anything like this before.

Food was delicious but the all you can eat concept was very disappointing. There were about 6/7 dishes on a warming plate from which to choose. But to keep getting the same thing for 2 hours! Samosa was the only snack at the buffet and at the end we thought we would have a delicious Indian chai but that was very disappointing. It was regular pickwick tea with milk. I definitely won't go there again.

Ordered once through Uber Eats, and after 2 hours of waiting, they say they waited outside my door 15 minutes, apparently knocking the whole time, and they wanted me to believe that despite me having been the whole time in the living room next to the door that was supposedly being knocked for 15 minutes. When I called them they were also angry and said that they had called me 3 times, despite my phone record not showing them. Decided to give them another try today, and after waiting for one hour my order got cancelled without any explanation. Never had such a horrible experience ordering anywhere before.

We did not receive 2 dishes. Just as the accompanying naan and rice were not visited. However, the naan that was ordered extra. When I called the store, a very rude employee spoke to me and concluded that we often told people that the dishes were not delivered complete! But according to him, they only did that to get “extra”. Well sorry, if you order food for €65 you expect to receive food that you paid for. This is the first time I have ordered here and certainly the last time.

Very bad and unprofessional. I don't recommend ANYONE to eat here. When we entered, someone from the restaurant was sitting in a corner eating McDonald's. McDonald's???? In an Indian restaurant? Waiter was sitting behind his laptop and said that we could go eat and that he will serve us drinks shortly. You are not well received. We quickly left shortly afterwards. Didn't eat or drink anything. Incidentally…. an unpleasant toilet smell.

Over priced. I ordered 1+1 Biryanis. Please look into picture how many pieces they served & Rice quantity also less. It’s too much price for the quality they gave.

Today, I ordered the Payal Deluxe 1 meal from Payal Indiaas restaurant through Uber Eats, and the experience was awful. 1. *Chicken tikka masala:* The chicken gravy was cooked in a sweet tomato-based sauce, which didn't resemble the chicken tikka masala. The taste was unexpected and chicken in the dish did not seem freshm it was taken out from the freezer and put into this pathetic gravy. 2. **Aloo matar:** This gravy was excessively greasy and had a spoiled taste, making it unsuitable for consumption. Serving spoiled dishes is unacceptable, especially when labeled as Indian cuisine. Overall, this experience was terrible and they fell short of reasonable explanation for such quality.

Looks more like catering than a real restaurant! There are just tons of food that you have to unpack yourself. The food was not warm for us when we arrived. Some things were tasty, but there wasn't much. There was very little choice. Very unfortunate for what we paid. Wouldn't recommend this.

We made a reservation for 7:00 PM. Upon arrival, there was no one to speak to us. There were also no other guests in the restaurant. There was one young man walking around, who after a while said that someone would come to us. We asked whether they were open. To this he said yes. He then went into the kitchen and came out after a few minutes with the story that 'the waiter had gone home sick'???? So one minute they're open and suddenly the waiter has gone home? We drove there from Amsterdam for nothing. Very unprofessional and disrespectful amateurs.

We ate different dishes and we loved them. Chicken nice and tender. Dishes are nice and warm. Really great!

Ordered via their own website. I missed a dish that I paid for. I called and emailed several times to get my money back, but unfortunately only promises but no money refund

Zo als altijd erg lekker gegeten!

We hebben via uber eats besteld alles kwam zo lekker warm aan. we hadden gebruik gemaakt van de 1 plus 1 actie. Ze hebben zelfs een bakje gratis indiaase yogurt salade bij gedaan terwijl we dat niet hadden besteld. Gezien de wat mindere reviews twijfelde we wel om te bestellen maar toch gedaan omdat het betaalbaarder was en er een actie lopend was! Alles was heerlijk vers!! Wauw!! We hebben butter chicken met rijst, en chicken biryani besteld. Heel smaakvol het is ons heel goed bevallen we gaan vaker van hier bestellen.

Afgelopen vrijdag hier wezen eten met mijn familie uit India. Gelet op sommige negatieve comments van anderen best spannend, maar niets was minder waar. Wij hebben een heerlijke avond gehad. Het eten was top. Mijn familie uit India was door het dolle, omdat ze niet hadden verwacht zulk authentiek Indiaas eten te kunnen nuttigen in een lokale wijk. De eigenaar kwam een praatje maken en hij blijkt uit een echte horeca broeinest te komen, hard werken is hem niets vreemds. Wij hadden ook gebruik gemaakt van het buffet. Wat een goed concept. Indiaas eten is normaliter relatief prijzig voor wat je krijgt, maar bij het buffet kan je van alles eten. Het viel mij op dat waar normaal gesproken kwaliteit van het eten minder wordt bij een buffet bij Payal niet het geval is. Mijn familie uit India omschreef deze ervaring alsof ze weer “ thuis” waren. Payal dank voor jullie heerlijke eten service en tot de volgende keer!

Bezorgen was altijd lekker. Vandaag voor het eerst in het restaurant. Één woord: Top!

Vandaag met zijn 4e gegeten. Ik denk je moet ervan houden het eten niet ons ding. Eten mag beter gepresenteerd worden dat is zeker een punt waar aan gewerkt moet worden!! Het is niet duur dat moet ik wel erbij zeggen. Keus was klein.

Eten erg lekker. Vriendelijk personeel

Locatie is klein (40 pers.max), maar goed te bereiken. Je kan achter gratis parkeren. Ben er op een vrijdagavond geweest. Was stuk rustiger dan op een zaterdag, maar daardoor met alle gemak kunnen genieten van al het lekkere eten. Bij binnenkomst vriendelijk ontvangen. Mochten bij het raam plaatsnemen, waarmee we uitzicht hadden op het terras en water. Daarnaast mochten we gelijk opscheppen aan het open buffet. Het eten is veelzijdig en superlekker. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar en een aanrader. Dus laat je verrassen door de Indiaase keuken. Het is echt de moeite waard!

Het all you can eat buffet is een goed prijs voor redelijk goed Indiaas eten. Ook veel vegan opties beschikbaar!!

Het beste Indian restaurant, beste service

We hebben genoten van het nieuwe buffet concept. Mooie gerechten, op 1 dip voor de papadums na, waren de gerechten niet heel pittig, wel vol van smaak. Alle gerechten zijn vol van smaak. We zagen aan meerdere tafeltjes mensen zitten met Indiase roots. Dit betekend over het algemeen dat de smaken ook naar Indiase normen authentiek zijn. Het gebodene klopt met de prijs.

Nieuw concept buffet!! Geweldig gevarieerd keuze uit ongeveer 15 gerechteren waar we met zn alleen heerlijk van hebben genoten. Ik ben al 15 jaar lang klant van dit restaurant en voor mij is dit het beste indiaas restaurant van Almere.

Het restaurant had een warme en uitnodigende sfeer, met prachtig gedecoreerde tafels en zachte achtergrondmuziek die de Indiase cultuur tot leven bracht. Het voelde alsof ik even was ontsnapt naar India, met kleurrijke schilderijen en decoratieve elementen die de ervaring compleet maakten.

Heerlijk gegeten, ik kende Payal eigenlijk alleen van de thuisbezorging. Leuk om een keer langs te gaan. Zeker als je moeite hebt met kiezen, het restaurant biedt namelijk een all-you-can-eat buffet aan met de populairste gerechten voor een schappelijke prijs.

Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten en komen zeker nog een keer terug

Heerlijk gegeten. Alles lekker vers, goed van smaak en zeker niet te droog (wat bij andere all you can eat restaurants nogal eens gebeurd). Voldoende keus, hele aardige eigenaren. Ze mogen wat vaker langslopen om te kijken of we nog iets willen drinken. 😀😜We komen zeker nog eens terug, wellicht icm een bioscoop bezoek!

Vandaag genoten van het lopend buffet van Payal. Bij binnenkomst zou er wat meer aandacht kunnen worden besteedt aan ontvangst van de gasten. De sfeer was prima, maar kon beter, door bijvoorbeeld de muziek wat harder te zetten. Het eten zelf was vers, authentieke en smaakte top.

Ik heb hier vaker gegeten en het was altijd goed. Je leest veel negatieve reviews, maar ik heb daarvan nog nooit wat ervaren. Altijd beroemdheden, altijd goed van smaak, relaxte omgeving. Dus wat mij betreft prima

It was a nice dinner. Took the social deal and it was nice. Enough choice and beside ordering was good.

Eten was ok. Echter het restaurant zelf was sfeerloos en zag er niet goed meer uit. Alsof er al 10 jaar niks meer aan is gedaan. Daarnaast veel dode vliegjes op de vensterbank pal naast ons. Bediening was ok. Nogmaals eten was ok, maar ervaring was vele malen minder.
