Pho - Vietnamese restaurant & Noodle bar in Rotterdam Centrum

First time trying vietnamese restaurant and had a great expirience, good food with fantastic export beer from vietnam, really recomend.

Nice Vietnamese restaurant with a street food concept. Service is good, food was tasty, especially the salad and sauces. The only thing we didn't find special in terms of taste was the fried noodles and chicken curry, which were quite bland. Hence 4 stars instead of 5

Super cozy restaurant with amazing pho. I loved it

Even though we didn't make a reservation, they quickly found us a place. The food is very tasty, fast service, Asian approach. Although Vietnamese restaurants around the world should have similar offerings, here there was much more choice. I didn't like that you could only wash your hands with cold water. Also, the place is popular and always full of people in the evening, and because of the affordable prices, sometimes there are no free tables and you have to wait in line.

Had dinner on site last Saturday. We were curious about Vietnamese food. - Atmosphere was fine. It is decorated a bit as if you are eating in a street food tent with lanterns. It was nicely done. The sides of the restaurant are made of glass, so you have the feeling that you are sitting outside. - You will be received nicely. Employees speak Dutch or English. You can be served by 3 different people per table. That's not pleasant. It is recommended that an employee be responsible for a zone within a restaurant. This way you are served by one person. That was not the case here. I got my food first, but I didn't start eating it until my table companion also got hers. That didn't come until 10 minutes later! Advice; serve the people at one table at the same time. Service wasn't great. - Food was fine. Tasted just like the Chinese, that was a shame. Wasn't special.

Delicious Vietnamese street food. The pancake is particularly recommended

The bun sandwiches with pork belly were very tasty! The rice dishes with pork belly and lamb chops were also popular. The price-quality ratio is excellent. You will then be presented with a nice plate full. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. Will definitely come back... even if it is to pick up!

Lovely experience and fast. The soup for me could be more hot but will try other dishes next time since I was a bit full. Had the pho bo vien, price was decent, ambiance was nice, not too loud music, staff was attentive. Worth to come back :)

It was extremely busy. In the middle of the city. We had a nice meal with my cousin from America, whom I had not seen for 28 years.

The dishes were delicious and served hot, Vietnamese coffee is also delicious served hot or cold. I am also very satisfied with the service

Not a huge Pho fan, but jeez, this place made me eat freshly cut shallots and coriander! The broth is outstanding and the portion is quite huge. Nice atmosphere with lots of Chinese-Vietnamese crafts and arts. Perfect!

We had never been here before, it was a pleasant surprise!

I come here quite often and enjoy the food but the service that i received was very bad. I came on 28th of October around 16:00. There was this asian woman working and already from the start whatever we said to her she would reply with silence. We received our food and i asked for 2 knives, she came back with 1 knife. I asked her if i could have another knife and she looked at me irritated and said Huh? So i repeated myself she rolled her eyes and sighed irritated and walked away, again without saying anything. She did give me the knife but i thought it was very rude of her. All the other workers were very friendly and the food was good.

Oh this place is unforgettable! I arrived in Rotterdam after a long travel day, checked into my accommodation, and took a nice, hot shower before heading out for the evening. It’s a winter evening and I haven’t eaten since breakfast so I’m now ready for a comforting pho dinner, which is why I chose this restaurant. Well, when I was being served, the waiter tipped the bowl and spilt the hot soup all over my lap. Fortunately I was wearing all black, but I literally was going on a drinks date afterwards!?? Don’t really want to smell like spicy soup in that situation. It honestly felt like a scene out of a movie. The cherry on top was them offering to dry clean my jeans and jersey but I was still charged for the full meal. Everyone makes mistakes but that’s honestly unacceptable service. Doesn’t really matter how good the pho was, I will never go back and will never recommend. Peace.

Vegan and vegetarian options available, loved the pancake and coconut water.

Probably the best Vietnamese restaurant in R'dam centrum. This is an attractive place with friendly, courteous, attentive servers. The food is what I would call "slightly" westernised for the Dutch palate, but it well seasoned and delicious. Portions are correctly sized (not super sized as in the US) for a satisfying meal. I have been a patron for lunch & dinner for the past three years and can vouch for consistent quality & service. Highly advise you reserve a table for evening meals, especially Fri and Sat nights.

I've visited them a few times and it's consistently tasty food with swift service each time. The highlight for me was the sugar cane juice which was fresh tasty and rejuvenating. The ordering process is fast, the waiting times are low, drinks arrive minutes after ordering, food not too long after and everything is decent to good in terms of flavor. The prices are average with regards to the market and I'd definitely recommend this place for a decent food experience. The seating is comfortable and the location is easily accessible via public transport. Good stuff, keep it up and see you soon.

Had lunch here twice. The food is always tasty and the staff is friendly. Plenty of options of dishes, option with beef, chicken, pork, fish and vegetarian.

Was in need for a fast and good meal during a business trip. The PHO was really good and they have alot on types to choose from. The serves was also really good

Tasty authentic Vietnamese food

Tasty and the food is served quickly. The service could be friendlier. The food is tasty, but be careful with the fish sauce, which is quite salty. Nice meal!

Delicious and comforting pho but one stand out item that shouldn’t be missed is their steamed buns with pork belly. Make sure to order this dish alongside because it’s a must-try!

Trovandoci a dormire vicino alla chinatown di Rotterdam abbiamo deciso di cenare in zona e dopo aver letto le recensioni di questo locale abbiamo deciso di fermarci. Prima accoglienza fredda e avendo un cagnolino con noi non ci hanno fatto entrare ma potevamo consumare solo all'esterno per fortuna la giornata era stata calda e lo ha permesso. Io scelgo un Pho ga di pollo mio marito degli spaghetti saltati, il mio piatto non mi ha fatto impazzire, brodo leggero e pollo praticamente bollito all'interno, il tutto con un'acqua e un tè freddo costato poco meno di 40€. La sorpresa però è arrivata durante la notte quando mi sono svegliata con una forte nausea, e nell'arco di un paio d'ore si è scatenato l'inferno, con dissenteria che mi ha rovinato la vacanza per ben 4 giorni, costringendomi ad andare avanti ad Imodium, Buscopan e fermenti lattici, anche perché in Olanda a quanto pare non hanno il nostro Normix quindi nemmeno con la ricetta inviatami del medico potevo risolvere la situazione. Se non volete rovinarvi la vacanza state lontano da questo locale.

I used to go there for lunch frequently, as it was close to my university. Takeout staff is very distracted! I always ask for the same thing, Pork Special Sandwich *without* coriander and chilli, because coriander tastes like soap and I am sensitive to spice. The staff member nods, reassuring me that my request will be fulfilled. They even ask for my name, which makes me assume they take notes on people's specific orders. Every single time I get my sandwich, it has both coriander and chilli. Tired and not going there anymore.

A Vietnamese corner near Rotterdam Central Station with an efficient service and an ordinary menu. Food (and pho) are tasty and at reasonable price. The homemade ice-tea is, indeed, recommended.

We were there on a Monday evening, not particularly busy and we had no problem getting a table. The service was very friendly and responded quickly. I had pho with chicken and shrimp, which was very tasty. However, I'm used to getting a lot of extra bean sprouts and coriander from other Vietnamese restaurants. This was limited here, but was still very tasty. Ambiance is also very nice.

Prices are slightly too high. Otherwise it was very good there.

The food was excellent—it's refreshing to experience bold flavors and genuine spice in the Netherlands. The staff were friendly, and the interior design was quite stylish. There’s also the option of indoor or outdoor seating.

Good flavours and authentic Vietnamese food.

Food is oke but not really good. The waiters walk around in the restaurant too often and inspect all customers… giving a feeling that i need to leave the restaurant as soon as i finish my meal. I will for sure not come back to eat here again.

Really enjoyed eating here. Everything very tasty. Really brings back memories of Saigon. Food comes to the table quickly, as is the case in Asia, so if you want to eat quietly, order your starters first and when they have run out, order your main courses.

At Pho you can only order one thing and that is Vietnamese soup. As always, we order soup with balls (Pho Bo Vien) and it was super tasty! You don't get it that often!

1. It's centrally located. Very close to the Centraal Station. The restaurant itself is spacious and big. 2. The staff here is very friendly and nice. The service is quick too. 3. The food is okay. The vegan/vegetarian options weren't that great. It was a little bland. 4. We also got their cold noodle dish. That was good. Their peanut sauce was tasty. 5. We got their pho ice tea. It's decent. They have pictures of boba drinks on their restaurant window but unfortunately they have no boba drinks. Overall an okay restaurant. I wouldn't highly recommend this restaurant for vegans. Maybe their meat options are good. I've heard good things.

Located only few minutes walk from Rotterdam Central Station, this Pho restaurant is decorated fancily and is a comfortable place to eat in. Both quality and quantity of their Vietnamese pho, bung and many other dishes are quite good for the reasonable prices.The service is friendly as well.

Decided to have a bite to eat here on a lovely summer evening. We had Vietnamese pancake with shrimp and chicken beforehand. This was great: thin and crispy with a slightly burnt taste. There was also a generous amount of filling and fresh vegetables and herbs. For main course we had the special beef pho and hot/spicy pho. The special beef pho had several types of beef in a simple broth, not necessarily high quality but certainly not bad. The spicy pho, on the other hand, had an unpleasant aftertaste, probably due to the pork soaking in the soup for a long time. The soup couldn't exactly be called spicy. All in all, we had a delicious pancake and beef pho, but I would certainly not recommend the spicy one.

It is one of my favorite places in town. The food is great tasting, well cooked, and has authentic flavors. The service is good. I always take my friends here when they come to visit me. One friend, who lived in Vietnam for almost two years, gave it the seal of approval. Not that any confirmation was needed.

Food a bit salty but great service

Not really, I will have to visit this restaurant more times. To taste the atmosphere (energy) and the taste, this is what it's all about. Maybe one day, when that day will come Insha Allah!

I would like to share my experience at this restaurant, especially because I went there so enthusiastically after reading many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience (with four people) was far from what we expected. I ordered a steamed bun with grilled pork belly, which sounded delicious, but in reality it turned out to be a just thawed bun with a quarter piece of bacon without sauce and some sweet carrot. The chicken bun was also very average and the Pho with chicken and shrimp was very tasteless, except for the coriander. All in all, I hope we just had a bad day, but based on this experience I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

¡Omg! ¡GROSERO GROSERO GROSERO! El personal no es vietnamita y esa CAMARERA MÁS RUDA DEFINITIVAMENTE NO LO ES!!!!! Nosotros (había 8 en nuestro grupo) llegamos allí en la apertura y nos recibieron literalmente con la PEOR ACTITUD! Supongo que fue una bendición disfrazada porque acabamos de salir de este horrible restaurante y fuimos a China Town Dimsun Restaurant justo enfrente y tuvimos la mejor comida!

I honestly don't understand where the good reviews about the food come from... After reading all the good reviews, Pho had been on my list for a while. Very disappointing food: the steamed bun with pork belly was a piece of bacon on a frozen bun without any flavor or sauce, the noodles with chicken and stir-fried vegetables was 1 greasy bite with 3 tufts of vegetables and the bun with shrimp was particularly tasteless. Pity!! Was the first and certainly the last time.

The food is not good, relative bad, to be honest. The whole restaurant smells bad. Such top location with almost no guests inside. There’s a reason.

Recommended to go during a cold weather. Food: 👅👅👅👅 very generous portion, I ordered the special beef pho (which has beef balls, briskets, beef slices), the Goi Cuon Tom (the fresh rice paper roll w. Shrimps) and one hot Vietnamese coffee. The pho, the beef were quite tender and the soup is not bad but the pho has room to improve, a bit too chewy for me. More basil is preferred. Goi Cuon Tom: the rice paper is again a bit chewy for me but the portion is quite bigx Vietnamese coffee: similar to what I had in HCM. Price: 💰💰💰💰 Three items cost 💲 27.1 euro which are average I guess in the Rotterdam Service: 💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️ Friendly staff and efficient

The beef soup from the pho taste very good. The pho is very chewy which I like it a lot. Vietnamese iced coffee and the house iced tea is definitely a must order item.

If you are Asian, you wouldn’t enjoy the taste here. I ordered Bun Bo Hue and papaya salad, Bun Bo Hue was edible while papaya salad was extremely weird.

Pretty restaurant but terrible and indeed not authentic Vietnamese food. Pho and Bon Bo Hue was not good.

Traditional Vietnamese Coffee and Bahn Mi for lunch today. Pho is a lovely venue and the staff made me the traditional coffee on request. Walk around this district and check out the fabulous street art on the corners of the buildings. Worth a visit to this precinct when in Rotterdam. It’s a 5 star from me.

I ordered mixed beef pho, fried chicken and shrimp spring rolls (three pieces per serving), and a cup of ice tea. The beef balls are very elastic, the meat slices are very tender, the taste of the soup is actually relatively ordinary, the fried spring rolls are delicious, instead of shrimp paste mixed with chicken paste, there is a whole shrimp at the bottom, recommend! Ice tea is as delicious as most people have said. Ordering these three for one person costs NTD 1,200. For your reference~

Good food. However, at the end of the meal I was very surprised by the waitress who cleared my plate (so far it's normal) but also my trivet even though I hadn't finished my cocktail. It was like a way of making me understand to leave quickly, without even offering me dessert... In short, after paying at the counter I wanted to ask for a disposable fork and the employee didn't even try to understand my need and showed me the exit door... So mixed opinion for me.

The pho doesn't seem to be authentic. The soup was not hot but luke warm, soup tasted very bland but sweet, speechless about the pho noodles, they were too hard. I was recommended the pho beef, golly the beef pieces were chewy and tough. Tables are so close to each other, others can easily listen in to conversation. Upon reading other's reviews saying there are mices in this restaurant, I definitely won't be returning, thanks and good luck.

Not the best viet food. The quality of pho was boring, if I feel like viet food again, I would def pay 20 euro for grocery at amazing oriental the Asian supermarket 3 min walk from the restaurant to cook pho by myself.

The place is in a good location, on the centre of town and short walk from train station and shops. We enjoyed our food. Would like to go back and try other dishes.

We went on a Friday. After calling on the day itself, I was told that there was a walk-in for the afternoon and a reservation had to be made for the following time in the evening. So we went there at 5pm without a reservation. Had to wait a while because no one came to assign us a table. After this, the Pho was delicious, which was fresh and tasted good. We planned to stay here and enjoy a delicious dessert, but in the end we didn't. Constant feeling of being rushed. When I looked out the window from my chair, my bottle of drink was still in it without my permission. Afterwards one of my party went to the toilet and asked twice within a few minutes whether he had finished eating, even though the plate was quite full and I had previously reported that he had gone to the toilet. The only moment when there was over-friendly behavior was when we left. Shame....

If you are looking for an authentic Vietnamese beef noodle soup, where the owner has been making bone broth since midnight - look elsewhere. The broth was very underwhelmingly, made with stock cubes, and maybe some oxtails. The soup was served with very little beansprouts, and no Thai basil. Only a couple of sprigs of cilantro. The beef slices were of good quality well done meat that was thickly sliced - also completely unauthentic. Not a bad meal, just not very indicative of phô. The decor was inviting, as was the service.

Very good Vietnamese cuisine. We made two Pho bowls, one with veal and pork, and the other with chicken and shrimp. Very correct price. Local with good atmosphere and good treatment. Recommended.

We recommend the Homemade Ice Tea ($4.9), it’s really delicious and goes great with the rice noodles. It’s a great value!

The food is good and all the dishes we ordered tasted great. The quantity for all dishes was ok. We thought that the rice served with the curry would be a large quantity but it wasn't however it was sufficient for 1 person. The staff is polite and the service is quick.

The ambiance here is so cute. It was my partner and my first time dining at a Vietnamese restaurant and the experience was so nice! The staff were incredibly friendly and gave us some recommendations on what to try. Although we didn’t have the traditional pho noodle soup, the main dishes were just as good. Also try the tapioca pudding!! It has coconut milk, peanuts, and taro which made it taste so delicious! If you’re trying to avoid the crowds, make sure to make your reservations for 17hr. It’s really nice and quiet at that time.
