Piatto Rhenen in Wijk 00 Rhenen

Onze eerste kennismaking met restaurant Piatto in Rhenen dateert van februari 2025, Vandaag, 12 juni 2025 ,weer in de buurt en Piatto opnieuw bezocht. Het concept dat men heeft bevalt ons goed! Leuke gerechten die, in iets kleinere portie dan gebruikelijk, worden geserveerd en welke wisselend, naar persoonlijke behoefte, kunnen worden besteld vanuit een ruime keuze in de kaart. De gerechten worden door vakkundige koks vervaardigd en op smakeljke wijze geserveerd door viendelijke dames die zich manfesteren als prima gastvrouwen. Zelfs de barman houdt de gasten goed in de gaten en weet de glazen gevuld te houden. Kortom, prima personeel dat de gasten weet te onderhouden en vriendelijk bedienen. Leo en Marja Brooshooft.

Super restaurant! Aardige bediening en kwaliteit eten erg goed. Twee jaar geleden ook hier gegeten nu weer en wederom verwachtingen overtroffen. Mensen die hier gegeten hebben en het weinig of niet goed genoeg vonden adviseer ik domino’s. Hier ga je heen om lekker te genieten van kwalitatief goed eten. Leuk ook dat kids zelf pizza mochten maken.

Das Essen war und ist unterirdisch schlecht es ist ein Schweine essen . Entschuldigung für mein Ausdruck einfach nur pfuiii meine ganze familie hatte nach dem Essen Übelkeit und Durchfall . Geht da bloß nicht Essen . Auch das personal haben null Ahnung und das kellern ist eine Katastrophe. Über Sauberkeit müssen wir auch nicht sprechen eklig . Die Atmosphäre scheint im ersten Moment gemütlich zu sein der Schein trügt . Das ist wirklich mit Abstand das schlechte Essen , was ich seit Jahren gegessen hab . ⚠️ Warnung ⛔️ geht nicht da essen .

Had a delicious meal at Piatto last Friday. We had made a reservation and that was necessary, because it quickly became very busy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty. We first had the Bruschetta specialties and then my mother had a small pizza and I had a pasta dish. Everything tasted good and was nicely seasoned. The portions were also fine. A small portion is nice for my mother, because she eats less. She doesn't have to leave anything behind here. That feels good. The recommended wine was also good. We think this restaurant offers good value for money. We also liked the decor and atmosphere. We would love to visit you again.

The food was very tasty, but the portions are small. In addition, we found that we had to wait a very long time for our starter, which was only served about 55 minutes after arrival. The restaurant is very attractive and cozy and easily accessible.

We had a very nice and tasty lunch there.. food and wine was great, staff was very friendly en they have a nice terrace.. We will definitely come back!

Reserved a table with my parents a while back and had a wonderful evening. The size of the dishes were just right, we could taste a little bit of everything!! (The three of us ordered 5 dishes) Oysters are highly recommended

We were greeted kindly at the beginning. We were offered to take our coats and were escorted to our seat. The concept of medium format was explained. She said that the pasta is a medium portion, but decent enough. However, this was not the case at all. We received super large containers containing a (nice) amount of 4 pieces of ravioli. Tasty, but definitely not enough. Also important to realize that the pasta cost 14.95 per person.

Reserved an outside table after a hot day. What a surprise this place. Fast and extremely friendly service. Our starter was more of an amuse. The carpaccio was covered in a lot of green salad and therefore appeared to be sparsely present on a plate the size of a tea saucer. For 14 euros it's actually scandalous. We didn't say anything because the atmosphere was good. The pizzas are excellent, delicious base. Here too, small is very small and large is also a surprising size that leans more towards small. @Piatto explain expectations better regarding the definition of small and large. But to sum up, good experience, delicious food, nice terrace. Definitely come back again.

Too bad about the concept, advice to order 3 dishes and share them did not work for us at all. That would also be a hefty bill. However, a friendly lady who explained everything about the concept and did not oblige us to anything. The start with the 'famous' meatballs was a disappointment, they were gone. However, we learned during the conversation that they had kept something aside for the next 'probably regular customer'. Strange, right? The meal tasted great, the raspberry pistachio ice cream was even harder than a pile! Even after about 20 minutes it was impossible to get through with the spoon, but I had to be very careful before the pieces flew to the other side of the building. We did indicate this to the friendly employee. The music in this restaurant was terrible, 1 and the same beat that could be heard continuously during our stay. The temperature in the restaurant was not pleasant, very hot. But I can imagine that air conditioning is not an option with the patio doors to the terrace.

Food was ok but max it was ok pizza was classic Dutch pizza nothing compared to Italy Pizza. Service was nice but really really slow. We ordered a tiramisu who never came and if we will not mention that we would pay for it

Worth repeating. Good food and very friendly staff.

Wonderful restaurant. My favorite is the beetroot risotto, unfortunately it is not always available... but many things on the menu are delicious. We have also had takeaway (pizzas, risotto and pasta) which are also good.

Was smakelijk,maar vèèl te lang wachten,en waren wel hèèl erg kleine hapjes voor veel geld😓. Mijn man wilde niet nog een uur wachten en na 3 "gangen" en 2 uur later zijn we op de achterwielen naar de snackbar gereden...Jammer!

Nice place with friendly staff. The taste of the snack board was good, just a little on the small side.

Just had lunch with 10 people. Very nicely decorated. Staff friendly and food tasty and lots of different choices. All in all very satisfied.

Prima eten maar wel erg weinig. Ze serveren juist kleine gerechten maar zo klein had ik niet verwacht. Ik heb de kleinste carpaccio van mijn leven gegeten. De prijzen zijn boven gemiddeld maar gezien de hoeveelheid is het echt te duur. Aperol spritz voor 9,50… mijn vrouw besteld dit regelmatig maar Pattio is de duurste tot nu toe. Er wordt geserveerd op houten plankjes. In mijn ogen kan dit niet. In de keuken moet alles HACCP zijn (speciale snijplanken) maar de gasten krijgen wel een houten plank. Niet hygiënisch! Bediening was standaard. Niet goed, niet slecht. Al met al een prima restaurant maar we hebben voor hetzelfde geld veel beter gegeten.

Weer waanzinnig lekker gegeten. Al meerdere keren geweest en elke keer overtreft het mijn smaak weer!!! Echt een aanrader dus.

Nice place, good food. Ministry misses many opportunities. Too few waiting staff. Staff lacks guidance from someone who knows how things should and should be done. Dear people of Piatto, you are missing so much turnover.

The place was busy but they still had a spot for us. Perhaps because of this (in my opinion) we had to wait a bit long for the dishes. Friendly service, beautiful decoration, great atmosphere and the food was more than worth the wait. Was really delicious

Update. Last visited 4 years ago. Now a menu with medium quantities of dishes that you can also share with each other. The four-course surprise menu is delicious and the service is very nice and professional. Highly recommended.

Had High Tea with a group. It was very poor for what you had to pay for it. Staff not really customer oriented!

Piatto was not my first choice. Actually our Airbnb host suggested two other restaurants for diner. However one was closed and the other was fully booked so we decided to go to Piatto, even without a reservation they still managed to sit us a high table. Atmosphere was great, employees are very friendly, food was very good. We had a four course meal consisting of a variety of Italian delicacies. I would highly recommend Piatto if you are visiting Rhenen.✌🏽

It was cold and drafty inside. Finally got a nice spot. But there was a children's corner where children were drumming with pans, making a lot of noise The food was not tasty and very small portions. We were served everything at the same time. Front and head. I really thought the food was a bit unloving.

Had a nice evening at Piatto in Rhenen. Cozy, stylish interior, tasty dishes and nice wines (the primitivo is highly recommended).

Here you can taste Italian cuisine! Have eaten several times, so delicious! Tip; take your time when you eat here and make it a relaxing evening without looking at the clock and not wanting to grab a bite to eat. Then Enjoy with a capital G. Highly recommended!

Good atmosphere, nice employees, that wasn't the problem, but the food was not tasty. Dry piece of indefinable fish between ravioli. We've been waiting for it for a long time. Once served, we were back on the street after 10 minutes.

Cozy, we sat outside and had to wait a long time for someone to come. Then went inside. Had to wait almost an hour for a sandwich even though it wasn't busy. No excuse for that. Too bad because there is more to it.

Waited almost 2 hours for our food. Everyone in the business had to wait so long; if the kitchen can't handle this, you shouldn't allow so many guests! And you can also actively communicate about this. Only after asking several times did we receive acknowledgment that it took too long and an apology.

Wát een plek zeg, fantastisch! Het eten was echt een blown-away’tje. Omdat wij gewoonweg alles lusten hebben we random vier medium gerechten gekozen met extra gamba’s en een plank bruschetta erbij; dit was voor ons voldoende maar een grote eter zou misschien nog wel wat extra kunnen bestellen. Wij hadden hiermee nog genoeg ruimte voor een nagerecht zeg maar. De smaken waren echt ontzettend goed en puur. Werkelijk heerlijk gegeten en fantastisch bediend door Tess, zo’n horecapareltje die gewoon weet hoe het moet. Overigens ook alle lof voor haar collega’s; er hangt een goede sfeer van aanpoten maar wel op relaxte wijze. En dan de rekening; echt prima en volledig in verhouding met wat we ervoor kregen; ruim voldoende eten en drinken voor 155,- met vier personen. Aanradertje deze tent!

Cozy atmosphere and delicious food.

I almost always tip in a restaurant but not here today. It is a shame to my honor to walk away without paying, but that would have been fine, as the wait staff pays so little attention to the guests. The food itself is great, I will come back in a few months to see whether the efforts of the kitchen are also rewarded and awarded at the front.

Heerlijk gegeten, echt anders dan anders. Bediening helemaal goed. Restaurant zeer sfeervol. Gaan hier zeker terugkomen.

The food was fine, but for the price I have had better Italian food. I was with two friends and had made a reservation in advance. We were put at the back of the play area and were disturbed all evening while the parents sat at the front of the store and didn't realize what was happening. The waitresses didn't actually come by, luckily we had ordered a bottle of wine and got a dessert on the way home because after 2.5 hours we were pretty much done with it. For this price you expect more than a family restaurant, but that's really just it.

Delicious, original and cozy. Evening out instead of eating out. Quiet music. Cozy interior. Friendly staff. Extensive menu and a recommended option: 4 or 5 course chef's menu for €55 pp. excl. water and drinks. Not cheap, but at least you get value for your money.

Including a delicious Vitello tonnato, or should I say Tonnato Vitello??😉 Beautiful sliced ​​tuna with a veal fricando mayonnaise. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, delicious wines.

Friendly staff and delicious food!

1 pizza was really enough, I was so full afterward. It was delicious, and exactly as described 'Italian inspired', not the typical pizza you are used to. 1 point for improvement, you get a round plate with a raised edge, which makes cutting the pizza (which you do yourself here) difficult. Given the ambiance, I would rather expect a robust, round wooden plank.

Have eaten here 4 times now, the last being Christmas dinner and it was great

What a luck! We fell headfirst into the new dishes, like a new menu. How delicious it was! After we were really late because of the Sinterklaas arrival, the employees quickly managed to provide us with a nice drink and quickly put a delicious antipasti on the table so that we could already eat something. (We weren't the only ones who were way late, so it was suddenly very busy) Now the dishes arrived, they were so delicious. Perfect in-between size so that we could enjoy 3 dishes. 3 times really tasty. Pork belly with cauliflower cream, rib-eye with puree and asparagus and super tasty gravy and a pasta with braised duck leg and truffle. And the latter reminded me of a dish I recently ate in Italy. What makes piatto so nice is that they are Italian dishes that are not “Dutch Italian”. But it is precisely the extensive cuisine of Italy that you can see and taste. Many people think of pasta and pizza, but at Piatto you can also taste all those other tasty things. Anyone who knows Italy knows what I mean. In short, it was delicious again and nicely pampered by the nice, friendly waiters. Thanks again and see you soon.

Management is really terrible. Tent also looks nice. Food is fine. Not recommended! Too bad because it's potentially a really nice thing. Shoot out the service or put them on a course with their neighbors, for example...

Heerlijk gegeten! Goede porties en veel keuze.

Vandaag een heerlijke high tea genoten. Deze werd met liefde en enthousiasme gemaakt en geserveerd. Veel dank en tot gauw!

Nadat we bij de drie zussen in Rhenen zijn weggegaan, omdat we om 21.32 geen snacks meer konden bestellen terwijl we er om 21.20 al zaten zijn we snel naar Piatto gereden. Zij vonden het absoluut niet erg en we konden uiteraard nog wat eten! Top service, leuke gast achter de bar en een lief meisje aan de tafel!

We hebben twee avonden achter elkaar bij Piatto gegeten omdat we ons zeer welkom voelden en het eten heerlijk was. Leuke sfeer, de zeer hartelijk en vriendelijke bediening en wat een mooie inrichting Alles klopte.

Wauw, wat kunnen ze daar lekker koken 😋 ik heb zitten smullen van de gehaktballetjes met pesto, tomatensaus en parmezaan. Ook de risotto met tuinbonen, kabeljauw en venkel waren een feestje, heerlijk dat vleugje citroen! En tot slot een affogato...mmmmm

Fantastische avond doorgebracht bij Piatto, heerlijk gegeten, vriendelijk en correcte bediening. Zeker een aanrader! Tes was een toppertje!

Aangenaam verrast door dit leuke restaurant. Bediening is attent en zeer vriendelijk (voor kinderen) Onze dochter mocht haar eigen pizza aankleden bij de keuken. Chef Ali nam hier alle tijd voor. Wij hebben voor een shared dining platter gekozen. Dit was erg smakelijk, mooi gepresenteerd en zeer divers. Dit was ons eerste maar zeker niet ons laatste bezoek bij Piatto.

Fenomenale ervaring bij Piatto in Rhenen. Het eten was heerlijk, service was uitstekend, en het interieur en atmosfeer was prachtig. Zeer aan te bevelen!

Heerlijk gegeten en leuke kok en gezellig personeel. Open keuken en is erg leuk om te zien hoe alles gemaakt wordt.

Zu lange Wartezeit für 2 Pizzen (60min) die Pizza war leider kein Highlight für jeweils 16€. Zu teuer, zu klein und nichts besonderes. Das Ambiente war hingegen super! Leider nur 3 Sterne. Und die Bedienung war nett und bemüht.

Fantastisch gegeten; wat een feestje! We zijn de dag erna nog eens teruggegaan; de wijn, de gerechten, even toerist in Italie. Bestel meerdere gerecht, ga lekker delen, en vooral genieten. Aan te raden voor iedereen, ik zou er zelfs vanuit onze woonplaats in Twente voor terugrijden.

Gemoedelijk, superleuk restaurantje om heen te gaan. Lekker eten. Voor familie, romantisch of zakelijk zeer toegankelijk. Vlotte en vriendelijke bediening en een open keuken wat leuk is om te zien.

Leuk italiaans restaurant met kleine gerechten.

Vlot personeel, lekker spontaan. Eten is niet zoals de 'standaard' Italiaan. Lekker Italiaans eten met een eigen twist maar o, zo heerlijk eten!

Vanmiddag geluncht, mijn omelet was echt heerlijk daar heb ik van genoten. De carbonara van mijn partner was een aanfluiting, een plakkerig klein zielig hoopje overgare pasta, qua prijs en smaak een aanfluiting, helaas.

Leuke aankleding, eten is lekker maar niet super italiaans. Nu een paar keer geweest, veel lawaaige kinderen. Bediening is wisselend, duidelijk dat de 'vaste' gasten voorop staan.

Wij kwamen last minute met een groep van 10 personen, dit was even schakelen, maar werd direct en op een super leuke manier geregeld. Eten was heerlijk en we hebben ons erg welkom gevoeld! Complete plaatje klopte! Zeker een restaurant om terug te komen! Super vriendelijk personeel!
