A wonderful evening in a beautiful location, even if the weather is awful. Friendly, attentive service and a varied menu. And a delicious California Chardonnay.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food with a group of 8 incl. kids, we ate really well, empty plates!! Nice place! Recommendation: Caesar salad, beef burger, strawberry meringue dessert.

Cute place by the water. Plenty of outdoor seating, great coffee, the food is simple and tasty, and the portions are huge. They gave water and a treat to our doggy. There's a small kid's area too. Parking is not a problem, but it's a nice bike ride from Joure.

Geweldige combi van wandelen en heerlijke verrassende hapjes en drankjes, met een zeer positieve uitstraling van al het bedienend personeel.

Een heerlijke plek voor gezinnen, zeker als het een beetje weer is en de kinderen tussen de gangen door even buiten kunnen uitrazen. De vegetariërs in ons midden geven het restaurant zelfs 5 uit 5. De locatie en ambiance deed ons wadden liefhebbers denken aan de leukere, kleine eettentjes op de eilanden. Bediening was vlot en de hoeveelheden goed afgemeten. Een aanrader!

Leuke plek, lekkere gerechten, fijne bediening, aanrader! Vooral in de zomer op het terras maar ook binnen is een fijne sfeer.

Super gezellig zitten, heel leuke bediening, overzichtelijk menu, fijne wijn en een voortreffelijke zee baars, dito Heekfile!

Mooie locatie voor lunch, lekkere gegeten. Pita Kipgyros gehad. Als je een keertje iets anders wil dan uitsmijten en of 12 uurtje.

Voorgerecht Vitello Tonato was top evenals de Vietnamese salade. De soep en curry was te pittig voor Nederlandse begrippen (tip: zet dit op de kaart erbij dat het pittig is). Bediening zoals altijd supervriendelijk en lekker informeel. We blijven al 8 jaar terugkomen!!

Picknickers is een prachtige plek aan het water. We hadden de pittige soep en broodje vitello. Echt een aanrader om hier lekker te zitten en genieten!

We kennen de Picknickers al enkele jaren en gaan er graag naar toe. Dit keer lieten we ons verwennen met het menu van de dag. Het voorgerecht was uitdagend, het hoofdgerecht was subliem en het nagerecht echt ook heel lekker. Daarbij een heerlijk glas rode wijn. Genietend van het mooie uitzicht en de vriendelijke bediening hebben we weer een fijne Picknickers ervaring op ons conto bijgeschreven. We zien weer uit naar een volgende keer.

Mooie plek aan het Snitsermar met goed klaar gemaakt en authentiek eten. De bediening liet wel wat te wensen over, we moesten lang wachten op het hoofdgerecht (3 kwartier) en bestek zelf vragen, net als een 2e drankje. Omdat we met een vriendengroep v 5 waren hadden we de tijd zo maar vol gepraat dus het stoorde ons niet. Toen we binnen kwamen zei de bediening dat onze tafel maar tot 20.00 beschikbaar was, het hoofdgerecht stond kwart voor 20 op tafel, daar hebben we verder niemand meer over gehoord (we kwamen om 18 binnen). Uiteindelijk zaten we tot 21.30 in de kas aan tafel. Het was een hele gezellige avond met lekkere huisgemaakte ijstea, rosé, bruschetta, zeebaars, succadevlees en chailatte. Aanrader!

Dit blijft mijn favoriete eettentje in Friesland. Op mijn verjaardag hier gaan lunchen en we waren zoals altijd verrast door het menu. Heerlijk relaxen op het terras. Ze hadden zelfs zonnebrand staan om te gebruiken. Ik ben fan!

Nice and atmospheric place with a small but nice menu. Service is generally very friendly. However, you pay the top price here! For a cappuccino with oat milk you can easily spend +4.50 euros (because they already charge 1.00 euros for oat milk). For people with lactose intolerance, it doesn't get any more fun or attractive! You can also easily pay +6 euros for the pastry. For a cup of coffee and pastry you can easily spend the same amount for an evening dinner from a supermarket. In my opinion, these prices are above proportionate and it makes the catering industry less attractive. .

Easy, laid-back friendly lounge atmosphere with good food. The one small comment is that the breakfast options were a little limited with size of portion adequate but not large.

Very nice restaurant right on the water. The two waitresses were very nice and the food overall was delicious. Unfortunately there is a bit too much yogurt in the yogurt bowl. The amount is enough for two to three bowls. And there was a little bit of topping on it. Better a little more granola and nuts or nut butter instead of a huge mountain of yogurt :) Otherwise everything was really great

Ordered a cup of coffee and a hot chocolate. Although it was certainly not busy, we waited at least 10 minutes for what we ordered. The coffee was served without milk and the chocolate milk was warm at most. The service, on the other hand, is super friendly and the place also makes up for a lot. Quite pricey. (€7.00 for these 2 drinks)

What a party every time. Hip and trendy, in a great location and, above all, very tasty food with pleasant people who pay attention to you!

We think the food here is simply good; fine flavors and not overpoweringly spicy. The portions are not huge, but they are of good quality. We would have liked a little more of the tsatsiki with the gyros sandwich; the container was sparsely filled. And to charge an extra 2.50 for a slice of bread with the salad...hmmm, we find that a bit less sympathetic. The staff was (probably?) a little less 'flexible' than normal due to the crowds. But overall...a super nice tent in a prime location!

When the weather is nice, it's always fun to eat at the Picnickers, what fun. But also when it is a bit chillier, cozy in the greenhouse or in the restaurant. Friendly service and an original menu. A fish board as a starter is highly recommended.

Remains a very nice place to have a drink and eat. Certainly a striking place in the region and one where you can go if you like a little more surprise in your food and drinks than the standard menu. We had a very relaxed, fun evening!

The water sports season has started again for us! Still cold! It's great that we can end the day with a delicious meal at Picnickers. I've written about it before; always a party. Inside you are a bit close together, but okay. Picnickers is of course at its best when we can fully enjoy the terrace, but that is not yet possible.

Super leuk tentje, waar we even koffie gedronken hebben. Hele goeie kaart, met ayurvedische mogelijkheden, of een lactose vrije bessen smoothy, en ook mogelijkheid tot 12:00 om te ontbijten. Het is niet heel groot en daarom super gezellig. Ze hebben ook een kas waar je in kunt zitten. En een groot terras. Voor kinderen is er een speelplek. Naast de weg en de brug maar een mooi uitzicht Aanrader.

Is heel ongedwongen. Studentikoos heetlijk buiten gegeten. Sfeer was top. Eten heetlijk. Kleine kaart maar alles lekker. 3x gegeten

Nicht weit entfernt liegt das Ufer, der Außenbereich befindet sich geschützt vor Lärm der angrenzenden Straße hinter dem Gebäude.

Echt een dikke 10!!!! Hele leuke gevarieerde kaart met onwijs lekkere gerechten erop. Allemaal andere soorten frisdrank dan die je normaal op een menu ziet. Bediening heel vriendelijk en een top plek. Heel het terras was tevreden. Zeker een aanrader!!!

Sfeer op het terras was goed. Je kunt er goed aanleggen met de boot. Lekkere “eigen” drankjes.

We komen hier wel vaker voor een drankje/hapje. Altijd gezellig zitten en een fijne kaart. Aanrader!
