Pieperz Noordkade in Veghel

The quality has been good both times I've been here (but I've had better). The service has been terrible both times. I went once with a group, and the wait times were really long. I went once with three people, and the wait was even worse: I had to wait an hour and a half for my order. There are many better chip shops out there; we won't be back.

Potentially a good business. But the fries are mediocre for fresh fries, and the staff, including the owner, are disinterested. Why order from a broken screen when no one else is there? At least greet your customers, for example. Better lazy than tired! If there's no interest in your own business and work, sell it to people with passion.

You'll find the best Heissa fries here. The shop in Eerde was closed, so we drove to Veghel especially for this delicious dish. Definitely worth it. Be careful, though, because you won't be able to finish it.

Extremely poor staff. The underage ones work the best there. They do absolutely nothing. They stand around with their phones in their hands. Eight people went to eat. Two had already finished everything, and the rest wasn't even in the fryer. If you pointed this out and asked, you wouldn't even get an answer. After forty-five minutes, you get your food. We paid for medium-sized fries, and everyone got small containers that you had to find the stew with. We won't even mention the filth. A very bad place in Veghel. Just try and get some staff who can work and a manager. Never again for us.

Upon arrival, a customer who had waited a long time and whose order was incomplete was complaining. This seemed like an isolated incident, but unfortunately, it wasn't. The young staff clearly lacked direction and oversight. I think that's the biggest problem. Orders were getting mixed up, customers were dissatisfied, and the wait time was increasing. Several customers requested refunds after the long wait and left early. When our order was "overtaken" by customers who arrived much later, we finally asked. The order was no longer visible and was retaken. But you can see them starting something (making a milkshake), then moving on to other things, and when they return to the mixer, they can prepare a new one because it's thoroughly mixed. After a full hour and 15 minutes, our order was ready to eat, even though we'd clearly indicated it was to-go on the ordering kiosk. When we finally packed it up, we noticed that a pair of fries had been forgotten. Quickly made more and packed everything up with an apology for the long wait (that's nice ☺️). Quickly headed home, but unfortunately, a cold snack was in the way. Too bad, Pieperz, you're far from delivering the award-winning quality you claim!

Super bad experience with takeout. Forgot a container. Back inside. They divide one container over 2 containers. Counted 11 fries in 1 container. Waited half an hour. Really terrible service last month. Better close.

Had to wait 40 minutes for 1 hamburger

Just now, at 17:18, I tried to eat here. Order 1 a hamburger, "we don't have any hamburgers anymore." Order 2 then please have fries with pulled pork, "we don't have any pulled pork anymore." Special fries then? "We don't have any onions anymore.." Do you even have anything to make a sandwich out of!? "Yes, I can check if we have anything left" (it was checked with great difficulty and great reluctance) If you have so little, maybe tell me what you do have in stock.. I also work in service and I know how bad it is to say no or when things are out of stock, so I'm the last person to say and/or think anything about it, but this was downright bad service. I really understand that you're young and don't know how things work, but come on, what a load of crap. Last time I went.

Very bad organization, been there for the second time, nothing has changed with the staff, a disorganized mess, if your order is ready, it will take 45 minutes. The staff are minors who work there, I call that child labor, a parent is there to help, but they just walk around, no guidance, the fries were very bad, not edible. Another tip: start working with numbers, not by name, because they mix up the receipts, what comes in is never in order, the customers get the order.

We were always very satisfied with Pieperz, especially the first few years. The last few times were often less tasty, for example a croquette that was not warm, but then the service was at least fine. Tonight the fries were partly good and partly rock hard, as if the old fries had been reheated. After reporting this, we were supposed to get some new fries, but chatting amongst ourselves turned out to be more important to the teenagers, so it was forgotten. Reported this and all they did was shrug their shoulders. For us the last time pieperz.

Waited more than half an hour for a family bag of fries for 3 people (7.50€) When I got home the bag was half full. The kids waited so long for the fries, but this was even less than a portion of large fries…

Went here for dinner with a bachelor party. Booked in advance. The food was fine and tasty (but not very warm) despite having made a reservation because of the size of the group, it seemed that this had not been taken into account. We sat upstairs. We had to get our own drinks. And the waiting time was long before the first fries with burgers were brought. Unfortunately, there were 2 menus in 1 food container (which is used to transport food) so we had to sit close to each other to eat or tear off the lid of the container to make 2 containers. But with 2 menus already not handy. So cutting them apart in advance would have been handy. Because the food was not very warm, we went to eat anyway and did not wait for the others to eat. Only 20 minutes later another portion arrived and 10 minutes after that the menus with veggie burgers. They were in normal food containers.. the tables were not clean and the staff not really friendly or service-oriented. I also ate here regularly in the beginning with a group of friends. That was really much better in terms of service etc. Due to the long wait. Unfortunately we were 15 minutes late for our next appointment elsewhere at the Noordkade In short, the food was fine. But you won't see me here for a while. And certainly not in a group It seems that there is a lack of someone who manages the staff well so that things run smoothly.

The potatoes used make the fries extra tasty.

Staff don't understand it. Takes a long time, first make fries and burgers, then have to make the milkshake at your leisure. It also turns out to be a vanilla shake while I order mango, which is 5 euros each. Too expensive and bad staff

It stinks of sewage inside. Not clean, grease and dirt everywhere. If you look up, spider webs everywhere. Fries + snacks fried in old grease. Satay also fried in a fryer. So all in all 1 star is still too much. For this money you can eat better at Jopie op het ven. Our visit was today 2/4/2025 at the Noordkade but never and never again. Big no-go that this chip shop could ever win a prize.

We had dinner here and our croquette was lukewarm. The fries and the seats were not exactly fresh. After we received our order, the meatball from gravy was suddenly gone and we also asked for the money back for the meatball and we received € 0.40 too little back, which we later found out

People in the kitchen are just on their phones, wearing jewelry and mega large earrings. Hair in a ponytail... so all the hair can still fall into the food because it falls well over the shoulders. Meatballs in JUICE are suddenly gone when your order is ready. Benches are dirty and tables are filthy I get my goulash croquette half flattened

Floris is a real Chef! Also bakes delicious, perfect fries better than the Belgians (being Belgian). There is also a lot to say about Amy, but to keep it short, she is an all-rounder! Everyone who works there is guaranteed extra pay for the hospitality and work speed they provide.

I will skip this fries place next time, fries were cold, had to wait a long time for your order, and very expensive. Staff is far too young and inexperienced

Let's start with the negatives: - About the fries fuss piri piri: there was very little sauce on it, it was not even a little spicy and scrape to taste a little sauce. Also very little chicken, small pieces of fried dry chicken. And because you have little sauce, it is very noticeable. Fries are available in large quantities; I really like these fries myself. - The tables were very dirty, even though the employees were not busy. 1 girl does; baked the orders, but another lady could have easily cleaned tables, there was still food scraps and dirt on every table. - It's a matter of taste, but we think it's a shame if a frikandel is baked already cut, which is a shame... - Drinking in glass bottles; is only a small amount and was not cold. Lukewarm cola is not tasty and you have to save money because it is so little. Pros: - The look and decoration is very nicely done. Every detail has been thought of, everything looks cool and industrial. - There is plenty of free parking - The whole atmosphere of the square and the pilot factory is very nice. - We like the fries! Apart from the small pieces (of which there turned out to be a surprising number.) - It is a convenient way of ordering with a pole; that works fine, our food was prepared right away and was ready quickly.

Mwah... I'm not really a fan of thick fries with skin, the children are not fussy eaters, but they didn't like the fries either. We sat in the tube with green upholstery/cushions. The tables were dirty and there were thick cobwebs above us. Not special, first time here due to a cinema visit. We'll drive past McDonalds next time. The hamburger that someone in our party had ordered had a sweet and clammy bun that was much too moist.

Very bad! Far too little stew, the mayo and stew were together in 1 container. So only half a cup of each. The fries were really bad! Small hard waste pieces that have already been refired a number of times. Pay a lot for poor quality.

More zest than fries. The fries also tasted as if they had already been fried. Lots of little pieces. Very unfortunate. Reported and also shown to the employee. It indicated that the wrong potatoes had been delivered. Next time it would be good. There will be no next time for us.

Here's a little friesback after our visit to Pieperz! We had the scoop of the first High Fries at Pieperz with our group of friends. The request was responded to enthusiastically and everything was considered. We were welcomed by the owner Joost, and a big shout out to Joost. He organized and arranged everything wonderfully. We got several courses of fries, each with different toppings and alternated with creative snacks such as spaghetti from frikandel special. The beer coolers were generously filled with beer that contained sea salt, which was also used for fries. The quality of the fries was really great! So it is highly recommended for everyone to experience this. Pieperz and especially Joost, thank you very much!

Had the very first High Fries. Top organised. And the service by Joost was top notch. What a passion this man has. Highly recommended.

"You have fries, and you have Pieperz. Top class fries, made from the best pies. Come, taste and enjoy." ..... it's a shame, but they cannot live up to Pieperz's above-mentioned credo. Although there were 4 staff behind the counter, after waiting fifteen minutes I finally ordered a cone of fries, 3 croquettes and a bami slice. Then we had to wait more than fifteen minutes for the order to arrive. I specifically asked for the fries to be extra well done. Unfortunately that did not work out, in fact; Because they bake the fries in 3 baskets in advance, they are sometimes left waiting to cool, but are then thrown straight into a container/bag. The customer then has lukewarm and weak fries. That doesn't happen with the snacks, so they were okay. Anyway, with the long waiting times and the poor quality, no more Pieperz for me for a while.

As a true chip and burger lover, I found these fries and burgers disappointing. The presentation and choice are good, but in terms of quality I expected more; especially the burger, which had way too much sauce (it was dripping off all sides).

The stew fries were really great, the winter burger is also highly recommended. Ate together with Ruud and both were very satisfied. Service was friendly and great!

Yes, a closed door at Pieperz Eerde, we were redirected to Pieperz Veghel (they are certainly open until 9:00 PM). Arrival at 8:30 PM, shutter closed and not open. Again with the door open until 9:00 PM. Disappointing experience…

A premium chip shop with passion and knowledge. I ate fries at Pieperz with my son. The staff really took the time to explain to us where these fries came from and how they were prepared. My son was even allowed to help cut the fries. You can really taste the quality in the fries and the sauce (homemade) is much tastier than the standard factory sauces.

Fries were okay but the rest was not good service fast and not tasty food so not the atmosphere so busy you can't walk side by side you are treated like a cow 🐄 very honestly worthless restaurant pieperz do something about it

Sometimes you can sit there for 20 minutes and no one comes. You can easily go behind the counter and make fries yourself. Unfortunately, the quality is critically low.

Want to score some fries? Don't come here!! We waited more than an hour. Other people who came after us got their food earlier. When we finally got our food it was not hot and we had to take it back. There was clearly no structure and, perhaps most importantly, no manager. There were children behind the counter who received no guidance. Maybe if you are the only customer you can eat here, but as soon as there are several customers inside, run away and get the jumbo fries for the air fryer.

Have been waiting for 45 minutes with less than 15 people in the shop. It's not normal how slowly people work here.

Unfortunately, going to Pieperz is no longer possible. 2 adults and 1 child fries means a 40 minute wait and lukewarm fries. Someone from management came by... to grab himself a fries and continue. The 4 young people behind the counter were then left to their own devices with 20 orders waiting... too bad! PS: call the window cleaner!

Quality downright bad, snacks not cooked properly, together with fries just cold. Staff were talking to each other way too much, which made it take too long. In short: 'this was Pieperz good evening'.

Best fried chicken and burgers in all of Noord-Brabant. Staff always friendly and fast.

Slechte friet te hard gebakken en veel gruis, hamburger zag er niet uit en net als de schnitzel te hard gebakken. Ongeïnteresseerd personeel, vieze tafels, volle vuilnisbakken en het was niet eens druk.

Er is veel keuze. Wij hadden verschillende frietjes heisa besteld. De friet was goed en stevig met lekkere toppings. Naderhand was de softijs lekker romig. Personeel was vriendelijk.

Het personeel is erg gezellig en vriendelijk! Vooral Floris en Farbod. Echt een aanrader.

Soms als we in de buurt van Veghel waren gingen we even langs Pieperz, door de locatie, het personeel en de kwaliteit van het eten. Toch merkte we sinds een jaar dat de kwaliteit achteruit begon te gaan. De knapperige friet van eerder werd vervangen door slappe, normale cafetaria friet, de garnalenkroketten worden soms nog koud van binnen geserveerd of verward met een groentenkroket en het personeel is meer bezig om hun stapavond van de dag ervoor te bespreken dan bezig te zijn met werk. Allemaal nog te overzien. Echter was afgelopen vrijdag een dieptepunt. Eten was matig, de vloer leek een kroeg na carnavals zaterdag waardoor je schoenen overal vastplakken, vuile tafels en dat terwijl er 6 man personeel rond loopt. En toen het personeel in het bijzijn van een vol cafetaria met stukken tomaat en ui naar elkaar gingen gooien was voor mij de maat vol. Erg jammer van dit bedrijf wat zoveel potentie had.

Prima patatzaak. Frietje Heisa frikandel gegeten (friet speciaal met 2 frikandellen en wat sla en een slice tomaat). Frieten met schillen…lekker. Minpunt: ze gebruiken Oliehoorn curry, veel te zoet wat mij betreft. Locatie prima, makkelijk bereikbaar en gratis parkeren. Mooie grote XXL jumbo in hetzelfde gebouw, makkelijk als je nog wat boodschappen moet doen.

Wat een verschil in zijn totaliteit met piepers eerde. Pieperz noordkade is vies, stoffig en smerig. Zelfs als het rustig is! 3 sterren puur vanwege het wel lekkere eten.

Vroeger was Pieperz een begrip met de lekkerste friet van Brabant en dat klopte. Echter afgelopen zondag helaas een hele andere ervaring, toiletten vies, tafeltjes vies, 4 jonge jongens in de bediening die het maar net aan konden, friet niet lekker, kaassouflee erg vet met dikke laag paneermeel, werd er misselijk van...vergelijken met vroeger echt een heel stuk minder jammer genoeg

Duurt heel lang als je hier iets wilt eten. Daarnaast klopte niks van de bestelling.

Gone glory. Won a newspaper's trophy for best fries many years ago, but since then has turned into a money making machine. It's still busy (for now), but the passion for top-notch food is long gone. Slow service, mediocre quality yet still high prices. Puts Dutch fries to shame. Avoid if you can

T was druk... te druk. 3 jongens achter de balie waren constant in discussie met elkaar, veel werd vergeten of fout meegegeven. Er gingen volle bakken friet terug de frituur in omdat ze koud waren.. Bij ons waren de sauzen vergeten en de porties erg klein. De grote friet was een gemiddeld bakje, maar half gevuld. Toen ik hiernaar vroeg werden schouders opgehaald en er werd een sorry gedompeld. We zijn ontevreden de zaak uitgegaan.

Hebben 40 minuten moeten wachten voor 1 frietje satesaus. Erg jammer de friet zelf smaakte wel prima.

Ze krijgen twee sterren, alleen omdat ik weet dat ze beter kunnen. Anders was het geen ster geweest. De friet is duur en weinig en wordt gebakken in oud bruin vet waar allerlei friet restanten van eerder die dag nog in drijven. Nadat ik na lang wachten mijn bestelling ontving droop het vet nog uit het bamiblok. Uiteindelijk lag er wel een eetlepel uitgelekt (bruin) vet in het bakje.

Overall good experience. The fries are very good, the sauces are also good. Price is according to food. Had a bit of wait but not too much. The Sunday was not the best though. The place looks amazing on the other hand !

Veel te lange wachttijden. Ik sta al een halfuur te wachten op een patatje. Personeel is onverschillig.

Heerlijke friet met een schilletje. Alles in papieren zakjes verpakt. Online kun je alles bestellen en betalen. Je hebt de keuze om het op te halen of te laten bezorgen. Binnen zitten is ook leuk en mocht je nog boodschappen willen doen, dan is de Jumbo net om het hoekje. Bestelling stond op me te wachten. Binnen was het erg druk, dus online bestellen was een goede keuze. Er is parkeergelegenheid naast het terras, maar ook een grote parkeerplaats tegenover het terras.

Leuke locatie en heerlijke frites

Verse kwaliteitsfriet, erg lekker. Ook regionale ambachtelijke snacks in het assortiment. Bezorging is echter niet consistent, waardoor de duur van de bezorging langer dan acceptabel kan duren en/of producten ontbreken. Voor afhaal en ter plaatse eten een echte aanrader 👍🏽

Hoge prijzen, vieze tafels en stoelen en chagrijnig personeel. Het meest belachelijke was nog wel het stoofvlees dat in een kartonnen mini bekertje werd geserveerd. We hadden nog honger vanwege de kleine porties (hun large noem ik een small!), maar gunden dit bedrijf geen extra inkomsten dus snel weer vertrokken. Het enige positieve is dat de frietjes wel lekker waren. Daar staan ze ook om bekend, en die naam maken ze flink misbruik van. Dat was vroeger wel anders.

4 euro voor een portie bitterballen van 4 stuks (!) zonder saus, want 'ja die had je er vooraf bij moeten bestellen'. Ik vind daar wat van. Servicetip: bij praktisch elke friettent zit er standaard een zakje mosterd bij een portie bitterballen. Je kunt er dus ook naar vragen als de klant zoiets bestelt.

Tot op heden de lekkerste friet van Veghel en dat is nog steeds zo. Maar, vandaag een frietzak voor 2 personen besteld. De hoeveelheid is flink minder geworden. Bezuiniging ???????

Leuke tent lekker eten. Ietwat prijzig.

Dit zou dan de beste friet moeten zijn in de omgeving, helaas kan ik niet hier over meepraten aangezien het tiener personeel de friet is vergeten. Helaas moest ik het doen met de lekkere pikante sate, benieuwd hoe morgen de wc pot eruit ziet. Fancy toko met een bestelzuil dat dan weer wel.

Zeer lekkere patat. Grof met schil gesneden. Heerlijke broodje hamburger.

Slechte schoonmaak tafels e.d. friet veel korte stukken en te hard gebakken . Is ooit beter geweest.
