Pizza Beppe Amsterdam Oost in Middenmeer

The pizza arrived cold. They sent the delivery person by bicycle in the middle of winter and made us wait almost two hours. The pizza was so spicy that we felt sick after eating it. I would never recommend them.

Order cancelled after 1.5 hours, restaurant cannot be reached by phone

Ordered 4 pizza for take away. 3 were hopelessly burned, beyond edible. Replacement order (see photos) equally bad. Not worth EUR 70. Also, @manager, if someone comes back - rightfully so - its a chance to gain a loyal customer, confirming one’s presence to then completely ignore someone isn’t the way to do so. Never again.

I love eating here, SUPER tasty pizzas and cozy place in Amsterdam East.

The place on Linnaeusstraat is not really that pretty—except if you sit at the back, near the window. But the pizzas are always great, just the right amount of toppings (normally they put too little in other pizzerias, in my opinion), and all ingredients are fresh. The staff is very friendly and serve you fast and efficiently. Truly recommend Beppe!

The ambiance, the service from Gianluca, Gaetano, and Bernardo, and the quality of the food (I haven't had such a good pizza in a long time)—simply fantastic! That's how a pizzeria should be!

The experience was OK overall, with friendly staff and good atmosphere, but thats all there is to it. To me, pizzas looked very attractive on the photos, while in reality they are somewhere in the middle by quality and taste, at least at the time we visited.

The pizza is one of the best I’ve ever tried, and I mean that sincerely. The buffalo cheese is absolutely amazing, especially if you order their signature pizza, which you need to cut and spread the cheese onto. I would rate it 98 out of 100. On top of that, the handsome fellow working there is incredibly friendly, and we will never forget his exceptional hospitality.

If there were 6 stars, I would award this for this place. The Pizzas are Napoli style and perfectly cooked. Food is fresh, and not to mention their home made Tiramisu. The service was impeccable, very friendly. I highly recommend this. Please do not be put off by any poor reviews, it could certainly be in the takeaway section, be mindful if you have food delivered by 3rd parties, things can be bashed around. By no fault of the restaurant. The quality of fresh pizza at the resto is super yummy. Price point, quite fair too!

The pizza is very good. But Gianluca the manager of the pizzeria makes the experience even better. Amsterdam lacks places with good energy in the service , and here you can find the real Italian energy.

Small venue, staff are very attentive and give recommendations and samples of things you might light. Get the spicy pizza and try the spicy olive oil

One of my favorite spots in Amsterdam East. I'm here all the time and it never disappoints! The pizza is always delicious, fresh, and made with care and the dough is always soft. You can tell they really know what they’re doing. A special shoutout to Jan Lucca—he's incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure everything is perfect. His warm attitude makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for great food and great people!

Delicious Neapolitan pizza. Prices are steep but reasonable.

If it is busy just stop accepting orders. Instead they take your order and just cancel after waiting for more than an hour.

One of the worst pizzas we ever had. We had 3 formaggi and bepperoni. Both pizzas were extremely dry, the 3 formaggi had barely any cheese on it, while it is the main ingredient, it was all dried up and basically was just a sort of crust. Bepperoni pizza was also very dry and chewy, extremely spicy, even for someone who likes spicy food. Quit a disappointment, unfortunately. Update: also no response received from the customer service, so, seems just a standard reaction below to neutralise negative reviews.

Great experience we walked down from our hotel after a long day of sightseeing. This is the real Italian experience. Fresh ingredients. Get the Burrata . We had a few beers. And the meatballs and shared a margherita pizza. . Service was wonderful and helpful . Highly recommend. A true Italian pizza. And homemade tiramisu

Delicious food, friendly staff, terrific atmosphere, and great location. I believe there are other locations of Pizza Beppe around Amsterdam and The Netherlands, but this place genuinely has an authentic and independent feel to it. The pizzas are cooked from scratch before your eyes using fresh ingredients, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I went with a large group, but the service and quality was not compromised at all, and it was terrific value as well. Highly recommended!

Very good pizza. What I like the most is being treated like a complete idiot. It adds a nice twist to the pizza. Pizza Beppe regularly offers a nice discount: 2 pizzas for the price of 1. Well, they double the price of a single pizza (see attached), so in the end, there is no discount. But again, being treated like a total fool makes the pizza taste even better.

Delivery was canceled by Uber eats, then they sent same pizza and was cold even though they said they would make new ones.

Pizza is pretty good, but it doesn’t make up for the downsides. They prioritise delivery orders over people eating, which means 90 minutes from sitting down to getting a simple pizza served at the table. This doesn’t work with children. They made mistakes with the toppings. Inattentive service for drink refills, getting the bill, then bringing the wrong bill, etc. The place also needs better ventilation as it gets smokey. Staff was friendly, but maybe they need more working and a bigger pizza oven perhaps, and management to stop prioritising deliveries over clients sitting there. Will not be coming back as there are better options in the neighbourhood.

On Saturday, December 21, 2024, six of us had dinner at Beppe in Oost. We were kindly received and guided to our table. The problems soon started. It took quite some time for someone to come to us to take our drinks. This took so long that we walked to the staff ourselves. The food and drinks were brought later and we wanted to order some more drinks. Even then the staff forgot about us and we had to walk back to the staff ourselves. At the end of the evening it turned out that not all desserts were available and we also missed a cup of coffee, which we had to point out to the staff for the third time. All in all, the food tasted very good as usual, but we had never received this very mediocre service from Beppe before. We were not satisfied with this either and that is why I am expressing it this way in the hope that a manager will take it up.

I ordered through Thuisbezorgd, but 50% of my order did not arrive. The delivery guy said 'call the restaurant'. I did but Pizza Beppe Middenweg just mentioned: 'get a refund'. WHAT? That is not good service at all...

Amazing! First time in Amsterdam and picked here at a whim (it was right by where we’re staying.) Delish food! Great warm atmosphere and the most amazing service!

Everything is wonderful in this pizzara, nice service and food. A definite place for all hungry adults and children! MUST TRY: Honey Tartufo with truffle pizza.

We would give a 10 out of 5 if we could. We just arrived in Amsterdam and needed a late night snack. We were the only ones in the restaurant as it was so late, our server was wonderful and I feel terrible that I forgot the young Italians name was just as nice , he sat with us after dinner and we spoke for quite a while, he was fully engaged as were we. We had the best pizza we’ve ever had, surprisingly in Amsterdam. Such a beautiful country and such wonderful people. I absolutely recommend it.

What’s not to love? The pizza is great, authentic ingredients, Neapolitan style. The staff has been really friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is relaxed and the decor is pleasing. Lovely place for a pizza night with friends.

Finally in Amsterdam my husband and I found Italian or even better Neapolitan pizza. The tiramisu was also excellent and we confirm that it is homemade as indicated. The boy who welcomed us and took care of us was professional and kind and with whom we spoke our language even though he also speaks excellent English. Fair price considering that Amsterdam is not cheap. Highly recommended.

Both pizzas were extremely oily, which made them quite unpleasant to eat. The cheese had a rubbery texture, and the appearance of the pizzas was not appetizing due to the peppers being cut so rustically. We only managed to eat a piece before deciding to throw the rest away.

After booking, you are kindly received in an attractive room with industrial gray walls, seating areas with green upholstered benches and a gigantic pizza oven, which keeps the restaurant warm even in winter. After a cold Peroni beer, my dining companion and I opted for the 'nduja and tartufo pizzas, very tasty and with a nice crispy base. Each with a glass of delicious sangiovese. Fine.

It’s a nice place, but I it’s too expensive for what it is. I got a salad for €17 and expected a meal-salad for this price. It was really just an appetiser and I left hungry. Not worth the money, but it was tasty of course.

Normally this is a good pizzeria, but now it was really bad. Probably someone new in the kitchen. The ingredients were still stacked together as in the packaging. All pizzas had a thick layer of mozzarella on them and the entire pizza was soggy. The bottom was burnt. quatro stagioni only had 2 sides and lacked tomato sauce. Normally it's good here, but this time it was really bad.

Pizzas are fine, a bit expensive. Advertising on Uber eats for a 2=1 deal, a pizza apparently costs almost €27. I don't quite understand that.

Tasty pizzas. We ordered 2 pizzas and a focaccia. The pizzas were delicious, good flavor, size and quality of the ingredients. What I liked the least was the focaccia, I found it a little salty.

Great Neapolitan Pizza in a nice and cozy location in Amsterdam East. A variety of pizzas with also vegan options (cheese is vegan). I had the burrata as a starter and the classic Margherita. Both delicious! The highlight was the home-made Tiramisu which was a great as well. There is huge pizza oven right in the middle of the restaurant. Also great and welcoming service! It is certainly not the best pizza in Amsterdam but it’s a great spot for a solid pizza to enjoy.
