An unpleasant encounter with the owner. When we asked for clarification on prices to use when ordering—on the website or from the menu provided in the restaurant—he showed us the door. Is this the norm now to treat customers like this? We're not difficult customers and never have been. When we had questions about the menu at other establishments, they always explained everything to us without any problem. But this was an unexpected turn of events... The evening was marred. Therefore, the service was 0. But the food, as always, was excellent. And not just the pizza.

The service is professional, friendly, and always ready to advise on dish choices. The food? Simply amazing! Authentic Italian flavors, fresh ingredients, and beautiful presentation make every dish a true feast for the senses. The prices are commensurate with the quality, and the quality definitely exceeds expectations. Definitely a place you want to return to. Pronto is an Italian paradise in the heart of the Netherlands!

I've been coming here for a while now. There are two pizzas I really like. It's just hard to choose. I've eaten them separately and side by side, but I really can't say which one is the best. This is the best place to eat pizza. There are many different pizzas to choose. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice.

While the food here is truly fantastic, and I definitely give it a 5 out of 10 in the pizzeria category, today is definitely the last time we'll be back. Too often, we're faced with a closed door on Mondays, even though Google's opening hours and the website say "open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.." Want to eat here on a Monday? Don't just show up; I'd recommend calling first. And just like last time: they couldn't be reached by phone, but there was no voicemail with an apology either, no message on the website saying they were closed, and the opening hours on Google weren't updated either. As a regular visitor, you can be pampered while you're there, but a good impression is also made of these things when it's closed.

Very helpful even for opening hours

We had a truly delicious pasta meal after searching for this restaurant blindly on Google. It's a lovely restaurant, not too big, with a cozy atmosphere and delicious food—what more could you ask for?

If you love pizza this place is great, really great pizzas and friendly staff. Only small negative was there were a lot of flies buzzing about.

Mediocre pizzeria. Salad was too sweet and the pizza had a soggy base. Nobody came by to ask if the food tasted good. A nice location though.

Delicious food, not expensive. Very cozy

A delicious creamy pasta with gorgonzola, spinach and pine nuts is definitely recommended! It's a tasty and rich combination of flavors that come together perfectly. The creamy gorgonzola offers a mild, spicy taste that is nicely balanced by the fresh spinach, which adds a fresh and light touch. The pine nuts provide a pleasant crunch, while the pasta provides the perfect base to absorb all the flavors.

Still the best pizzas in Schiedam, but it is annoying that their delivery service is so popular. And those pizzas come from the same kitchen, so you sit in the restaurant waiting for your pizza while the delivery boys bring away stacks of boxes. It's probably better to stay home and order online :-)

Really amazingly delicious food. Both pizzas and pasta were very tasty and well topped with fresh ingredients. The tiramisu was also really delicious! Our little girl was well taken care of with colors, a coloring page and a delicious children's pizza. Beautiful place, good atmosphere, good service and 100% recommended.

Update February 2025: after a less good experience, a friend convinced me to go to Pronto 9 months ago. It was already clear upon entering... Fortunately there is a good atmosphere again. The service gets it, is friendly, attentive and professional. When asked, it turns out that a new manager, Andrea, started three months ago. It is more than clear that he has experience in the industry and has taken his team to the next level. Fine! Then I can add this business to one of my favorites in Schiedam! Compliments to Andrea! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I always thought this was a nice thing to eat, but my last experience was downright bad. Maybe this was because I was there on a Monday, but I don't think that should matter. The food was fine, but the service and atmosphere were downright bad. The place was virtually empty. No music, no sound, just a delivery man walking back and forth. In my reservation I requested a table against the wall. A young, somewhat lanky young man sullenly, without a friendly greeting or smile, pointed us to a table right next to the kitchen. When we indicated that we had asked for a spot on the wall, there was hardly any response. This young man clearly chose the wrong profession. There was still plenty of room there, so we ended up sitting at the wall. After we got our drinks, nothing happened for half an hour. We had to wave to finally get someone to come to our table to order. After a blonde lady first brought another table's order twice, our food arrived quite quickly. Unfortunately, payment also turned out to be a challenge. We asked for the bill and twenty minutes later we just walked to the cash register because the sullen young man and the blonde lady were too busy doing nothing. The blonde lady had 'forgotten us', she said as we walked to the cash register. What was also striking is that you used to get a fresh (small) sandwich with a container of olive oil. The olive oil and container were still on the table, but nowadays you have to order and pay for the sandwiches. 'Decision of the owner' we understood. Strange and unnecessary frugality as far as we are concerned. I wonder what happened to the fun Pronto. This was certainly not worth repeating. Really a shame!

Very nice Italian restaurant in the Rotterdam area. Cozy atmosphere, easy going and family friendly. Food is very good with top ingredients. Prices in the Rotterdam average. A place to visit again.

We had made a reservation. Unfortunately there was no room and we had to wait half an hour in the empty room next door at a bar. We were politely offered a drink. Unfortunately not from the house, although that would have been nice. Waiting in that room was a bit strange. There was a party building up and we felt a bit put away there. The food was fine, but it would have been nice if they had offered a drink due to their poor planning

We are disappointed with Pizza Pronto tonight. We called to see if we could have dinner with 3 people in half an hour. Couldn't. The place was full. An hour later we receive a message from a friend that he was eating a pizza at Pizze Pronto without calling in advance and that even more tables were empty. Very unfortunate.

Just got back, we had made a reservation at 7:00 PM and we were outside again at 7:45 PM. Ordered a sandwich in advance, we hadn't finished it yet our pizza was already put on the table. Very unpleasant that it has to happen so quickly. Indicated that we do not like this. The answer we received was that a sandwich is not considered a starter by the kitchen, so that's why we were so quick, sorry. We were therefore disappointed and did not order dessert.

Declined, I'll never come here again. Went for dinner with 9 people, they forgot to make 1 pizza and 1 person had to wait for it. The other pizza had the sauce on it even though sauce was requested separately. Drinks were not offered adequately, people sat with empty glasses while staff served the nearby room and walked past 10 times. At checkout you will be told to check your receipt. THERE MAY BE SOMETHING FROM ANOTHER TABLE.

Well. I like pizzas. I bake them at home in a pizza oven and often a pizza elsewhere is a bit disappointing. But not here. Pizze Pronto delivers really top pizzas. Really delicious dough, good crust, cooked and nicely browned. The tomato sauce is tasty, and the toppings were well matched to the rest, not too much cheese, not too little. And nice and fresh, good red pepper, eggplant, olives, burrata. The 4 different pizzas were all spot on. Chappeau! Desserts also excellent. Nice people. Wheelchair accessible (except the toilet). And the space is pleasant, not too close together and good extraction. Price-quality is okay. We had a great evening.

Last night we had a delicious and enjoyable meal at Pronto. Although it was very busy (and that on a Monday evening; that says something), we were served quickly and friendly. Time was also made for a chat with us. The dishes tasted good and were slightly more refined than at some other Italian restaurants in Schiedam. It's nice that there is a good restaurant open on Monday evenings in Schiedam. I like coming there!

Too bad you can't order tap water. We had bottles of wine costing over 35 euros and no tap water. This entrepreneur doesn't understand it. Food service was top notch. But will we come back???

Nice meal. It's a pity that the windows were open, which they had to be because it was very warm inside, but that did allow smoke from the people standing outside to come in.

Good food, good service, atmosphere was great

We had dinner together at Pronto on Sunday, but a few comments, pizza was very good but the pasta with Gambas was not tasty and very bland tasteless, and we thought the waiters wanted to go home quickly because they served everything so quickly in succession, and I had Said something about it, but after 2 minutes he came again, according to us we had to leave again after 45 minutes, had eaten more often but had not experienced this yet. And don't forget when you order an iced coffee that it is lukewarm, even in HEMA it is much tastier and really nice and cold, which is a shame, it was also the last time. Very unfortunate, it gives us a rushed feeling, not the pleasant feeling it should be.

There are of course many pizzerias, but this one was very good. I shared a truffle pizza and a spicy pizza and had a delicious meal with a nice glass of wine. Nicer setting in beautiful Schiedam near the center.

Fantastische avond voor 40 man een italiaans etentje georganiseerd. Muziek was goed en niet te luid, attent personeel, heerlijk goed gevuld buffet. Een avond om niet snel te vergeten, en met het volgende project te herhalen.

Bestelde voor bezorging, gaf de bezorgen 2 euro fooi (op voorhand) en kreeg toen een e-mail dat mijn pizza over 15 minuten klaar zou staan voor afhalen.. Gebeld, kreeg een slecht Engelstalige medewerker aan de lijn, met handen en voeten duidelijk gemaakt dat er een fout was gemaakt ik iemand wilde spreken die nl sprak.. uiteindelijk een nl talige aan de lijn die stelde dat ik een fout had gemaakt en had gekozen voor afhalen.. dat ik de bezorger op voorhand 2 euro fooi had gegeven bleek niet aan te komen .. ben ter plaatste gegaan waarbij men mij die 2 euro terug wilde geven onder het mom van :U heeft een fout gemaakt in het menu.. op de vraag waarom ik een bezorger 2 euro fooi zou geven als ik het zelf kwam afhalen kreeg ik eigenlijk geen reactie .. De pizza en de 2 euro laten staan en heb een patatje gehaald.. Denk dat pizze pronto is overgenomen.. mij en mijn kennissen zien ze daar nooit meer!

Ondanks dat Pronto niet vol was is het er erg lawaaierig. Er loopt van alles door elkaar heen waardoor je er niet echt rustig eten kunt. De pizza’s zijn goed te eten, hoewel de bodem te nat was waardoor het een kleffe bedoeling werd. De pasta’s hebben absoluut geen smaak, niets, nada, geen. Wij hadden de Linguini Gamberi en het was echt zoeken naar de smaak. De Biscotto al Buro was lekker, hoewel de karamel niet gehoeven had, mierzoet hierdoor. Van krijgt dit restaurant een magere 2 sterren, ik vermoed dat omzet draaien belangrijker is dan goed en smaakvol eten.

The pizzas are authentic and very tasty. There is a lot of choice. Personally, the lasagna and tiramisu are favorites. Even when we have the pizzas delivered, they remain of excellent quality.

Of the eleven people, five became ill from the food, it was very greasy. Atmosphere unpleasant.

we have been a regular customer for at least last 3 years, but tonight it was definitely our last visit. We booked a table to celebrate my daughter’s 6 birthday. At the entrance we were welcomed by very unfriendly blonde woman, she pointed out the table and then for 30 minutes did not show up to take our order. In the meantime my mother discovered that the lounge chair was dirty and her trousers were completely covered in sticky food residual, she asked the waitress to clean the chair, but that lady did not even apologise but came with a dirty cloth and pretentiously rubbed the chair. After very long waiting, I walked to the bar to ask another waiter to help us, the waitress who welcomed us was treating us like air and refused to he took our order. Meantime another waiter came over to take the order and brought our dishes. Since it was my daughter’s birthday I asked for special arrangement including small cake and he wrote everything down, but surprisingly the cake was brought but this terrible waitress and she intentionally forgot the candles and thrown the plate with cake in front of my daughter with anger. My daughter started to cry, then my mother couldn’t take this anymore and walked into the bar to tell the service about the horrible experience we’ve been having since we entered the restaurant tonight. At the end we were served free drink and apology from the manager! I feel really sad because I really like this place and the food is very good, and I really hope this blonde waitress will be kicked out from Pronto! If you read this please know what you ruin the evening for my daughter and all of us, you ruined the reputation for your colleagues and owner. I cannot understand what kind of person you need to be to destroy the birthday celebration of 6 years old. Think of your actions and how it affects others. Working with people is hard I know, maybe it’s not for you…

After ordering we had to wait 45 minutes for our pizza. The neighbors next to us also had to wait 50 minutes for the pasta. The service wasn't very cheerful either. This was the first and last time for us. From now on I will drive to Da Enzo in Svea or to Gusto in Rotterdam.

As always, we had a delicious meal, in our opinion the tastiest pizzas in the area. It's a shame that apparently no carafe with tap water and bread has recently been served. Now you can only order spring water and that with a little bread was almost €25.00.

How hard people work there. Top service and delicious food.

Pizza is okay, every Wednesday they have 12,50euro for each Pizza. But for that you will get half glass beer with half glass foam filled. Also the team is not customer friendly, after going repeatedly for 3 days to the same restaurant we went again on a Wednesday without reservation and the restaurant was full due to 12,50 Pizzas. And they throw us out, just throw us out. May be because I am not European. May be the owner doesn't like my face. Funny. But the side of Schiedam we are leaving has hardly any good alternative.

Tasty pizzas baked in a traditional wood-fired oven. The most recent visit on 2/12/2023 was again wonderful. It tastes so much better from a wood oven.

Een aantal pizza's waren te koud. We vroegen om een fles water, maar dat kon niet want dat schenken jullie niet. Wel konden we bronwater kopen. Als je met 9 personen bij jullie eet en drinkt dan is dat wel erg zuinig. Als je in Frankrijk in een restaurant gaat eten dan staat er voordat je de bestelling plaatst al een fles water op tafel.

Bediening is niet echt attent, je noet zwaaien als je iets wilt en dan nog komen ze niet

Laatste keer voor ons. Het pizza deeg is prima in orde. De rest is vis uit blik, zonder liefde erop gesmeten. De doodgekookte ravioli met zalm uit blik is werkelijk niet te eten. Wil je lekker eten, ga dan niet hierheen. Op onze opmerking dat het echt niet lekker was werd nauwelijks gereageerd. Maar wel de hoofdprijs gevraagd. We hebben alles laten staan en zijn na betaling maar vertrokken.

Heeeeele goede lasagne! Flinke portie ook. De tiramisu ook erg lekker romig. Tafels staan wel erg dicht op elkaar, enige minpuntje van pronto

Great location, spacious and decorated well. We discovered it was pizza day, when all pizzas were around 11 euros. Good food and good value. Staff very helpful and attentive. Only downside was they do not provide tap water so bottled water cost around 6 euros, so we didn't bother to purchase it.

Heerlijk gegeten. Veel keuze en ook voor vegetariërs is er een leuk aanbod . Voor de kleinere eter kan de pizza een maatje kleiner worden besteld. De prijzen zijn goed en betaalbaar. Begonnen met Proeverij Pronto, een heerlijke schotel met diverse anti pasti. Gevolgd door een pizza Burretta (normaal formaat uiteraard) en afgesloten met koffie en Panna Cotta karamel. Het personeel is vriendelijk. Bestellingen worden snel geserveerd. En de locatie is echt fantastisch. Absoluut een aanrader!

Lekker en vooral goed gegeten met een grote groep gekozen voor het groepsmenu, voldoende keuze zeker voor zo’n geote geoep

Kan alleen wat zeggen over pizza andere dingen pasta ect niet geproefd. De bodem was zeer smaakvol over de keuzes qua toppings kan ik zeggen dat ze zich willen onderscheiden denk ik. Truffelmascapone, rosbief , geitenkaas Smaakvol bij elkaar gezocht zelf prefereer ik de orginele eenvoudige toppings. Want de bodem komt erg dicht bij italie in de buurt Daarnaast gooien ze met veel italiaanse termen maar de menukaart laat zien wij zijn een uitgebreidde pizzaria met daarnaast ook wat primo's. Voor de regio zeker een aanwinst.
