We were treated very badly today. We ordered two pasta dishes. My girlfriend, who is vegan, chose the aglio e olio. We read on the menu that the pasta came with Parmesan cheese. We expected the Parmesan to be served separately at the table, as we are used to. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. My girlfriend then asked for a portion without the cheese. A total of three waiters (one of whom may have been the manager or someone similar) came to our table and very rudely pointed us to the menu. We politely explained that we were used to it being served differently—otherwise, we would have said something. I, too, am not a fan of Parmesan on pasta and prefer to control the amount myself. It could have been dismissed as a misunderstanding, but instead, we were made to feel like we were at fault. Because of this behavior, we felt very uncomfortable in the restaurant and will certainly not be returning.

I ordered Spaghetti Agio e Oloi and assumed it would come without cheese on top, even though the menu stated that it included cheese. However, this dish is usually served with cheese on the side. When I explained that I'm allergic to cheese and sent it back, three servers approached me and rudely referred me to the menu. That's not what I call good service.

Everything arrived very quickly. The food was great. It was very quiet.

Today, the two of us ate at the pizzeria, ordering vegetarian pizza and spaghetti aglio e olio, along with two beers. We were explicitly asked if we wanted pizza bread with olives (which, by the way, was freshly baked and the olives and dip were good), and I certainly don't consider this a rip-off. The overall atmosphere was very pleasant, and the service was extremely friendly! I'm only deducting one star because, while the prices are reasonable for Renesse, they are ultimately a bit too expensive.

Sure enough, we were asked directly if we wanted bread with aioli, which we initially declined. For my appetizer, I had prawns in oil. The prawns were sufficiently fresh and tasted delicious. I found it a bit unusual that they were served with bell peppers and onions, but overall it was tasty. I asked if there was any bread with the prawns. I only wanted two or three slices to have with the prawns and the oil. Instead, a larger piece of sliced ​​bread with aioli arrived. Since I was already aware of this based on the reviews, I specifically asked if it would be charged extra. The waiter said yes, so I sent it back. This is precisely what left a negative impression on me: Apparently, they are very actively trying to sell the bread with aioli for around €10 extra. If you simply want a few slices of bread with an appetizer, it should be clearly communicated that this will automatically result in an additional charge for the bread and aioli portion. I found this unnecessary and annoying. The pizzas were generally okay. I had a jalapeño pizza, which was generously topped. However, for a pizza baked in a stone oven, the crust was a bit too thick for my taste. The service was very friendly and attentive, but also clearly sales-oriented. The restaurant's prices are on par with what you'd expect in a tourist area, which is on the higher end. All in all: a pleasant atmosphere, decent food, and friendly service. Without the somewhat pushy attempt to upsell the bread and aioli, the overall impression would have been significantly better.

The food was okay. The service staff was friendly. The bread mentioned in previous reviews was also offered to us, but I was aware that it would cost extra. 12 euros for dip, bread, and a bowl of olives could be cheaper, but there are worse things. The pizza and spaghetti were also tasty. Prices are typical for a tourist town.

It is a real shame that they offer a 'little' bread and olives as standard, only to end up charging €12 for it afterwards. We felt a bit misled. The food is also really not sublime. I wouldn't recommend this place spontaneously.

We ate here today. It wasn't a rip-off at all. We were clearly and explicitly informed about the appetizer. And it should be obvious to any reasonable person that it wasn't free. The service was excellent, as was the food.

Not highly recommended unless you have money to burn. Prices are outrageously overpriced. A small 0.2l apple juice costs €4. A pizza stagione costs €16.50. You have to go inside to pay, as they don't take payments at your table. You can definitely eat cheaper and better elsewhere.

We visited the restaurant twice. Since my husband is a pasta lover and wanted to give it a second chance, let me preface this by saying: the pasta here is a complete disaster. Attempt No. 1: Spaghetti Carbonara The spaghetti wasn't cooked in salted water and was therefore quite bland. To our surprise, the fried pancetta made up for it somewhat. Conclusion: Overall, the entire dish earned a maximum of 3 out of 5 stars. Attempt No. 2 two days later: Tagliatelle di Pollo: Again, the tagliatelle wasn't cooked in salted water. This resulted in a very bland taste. The chicken was also clearly of poor (cheap) quality. A Gorgonzola sauce was ordered to accompany the ample portions of chicken. However, this sauce sat like a rock in our stomachs and caused significant discomfort for hours afterward, leaving us wondering whether the Gorgonzola was even edible. Conclusion: With the best will in the world, a maximum of 1 out of 5 stars. Result: Pasta dishes are absolutely not recommended here. Best to avoid them altogether. Those who prefer Italian cuisine should look elsewhere.

We started with bread beforehand, which was tasty, and the service was friendly. I had spaghetti carbonara and it was really disgusting. There was so much bacon (or bacon or whatever it was) in it that the whole pasta was super salty. Also, the sauce was barely there. When asked if I had enjoyed it, I honestly said that I didn't like it. (I didn't finish it either, and even my husband, who really eats everything, thought after 2 bites of my pasta that it was way too salty) but the response was simple; some people think there is too much in it and some too little. This is of course anything but customer-friendly, and that is how you can dismiss any complaint, of course. But I read the other reviews (which I should have done beforehand) and see that many more people are dissatisfied. I always eat pasta carbonara because I am allergic to tomatoes, so I know how it should taste, but this was really bad! Super bad service too, that there weren't even any apologies, but such a stupid reaction. I wasn't planning on posting this review, but I've had terrible stomach pain since eating that pasta, so that's why I decided to post it anyway. By the way, my husband's pizza wasn't worth repeating either. Such bad pasta, poor service, and stomach problems speak for themselves; we are never coming back here. And 1 star is actually already too much.

Attention on the appetizer trap! Some olives with bread add to 8 Euros! The pizza was good but the Calzone Shoarma was really bad. Since we did not know, what "Shoarma" is, we asked the waiter. And both said this would be pig meat like in Bolognese. it turned out to be a really strange spice mixture with lots of cumin which did not taste italian as all! So do not order stuff with strange names....the waiters do not know what it is. We also complained about it but the waiters commented with a helples shrug of the shoulders.

Despite having a reservation, we had to sit inside even though the weather was beautiful and there was still space outside. Never again.

I have rarely eaten such a bad pizza with salami – drowned in cheese, with no garlic flavor (despite having ordered and been charged for it), and extremely greasy. My travel companion's pasta dish needed extra seasoning; the shrimp and olives were tasteless, and this dish too was swimming in sauce. The only acceptable thing was the imported mineral water; you couldn't mess that up. So: Beware!!

Good location. Fast service. The tomatoes in the tuna salad were not fresh and were inedible. Worst pizza experience ever. Bottom black, top undercooked. A few people in our group got stomach aches. Pizzas without love. The service wasn't very understanding. I did get a new one, but it wasn't much better. Still lots of black pieces and otherwise undercooked and tasteless. You'd be better off throwing your money on the street....

We visited Buon Cuore in Renesse during our vacation. We found the terrace quite pleasant. We didn't see the interior and therefore can't comment on it. The service was excellent: we were served quickly and courteously, and the staff were attentive and polite. We were especially pleased that a bowl of water was brought to our dog immediately and without us even asking. We were offered bread with olives as a starter. Since we were explicitly asked if we wanted this as an appetizer, we assumed it would be charged. Some other reviews have criticized this; however, our experience was clear and transparent. For our appetizer, we ordered the Burrata Caprese. The portion consisted of three large tomato slices, a medium-sized burrata, some basil, and a bit of pesto under the tomatoes. The ingredients seemed fresh, but the dish was completely unseasoned. There was no discernible salt or pepper, so despite the good ingredients, the appetizer was rather bland. For €15, we had expected a bit more. For our main courses, we ordered the Pizza Frutti di Mare and the Tagliatelle Burrata. The Pizza Frutti di Mare was rather sparsely topped, with only three mussels and three shrimp. Unfortunately, the pizza base was quite soggy from the toppings. The Tagliatelle Burrata was also rather bland and could have benefited from a bit more seasoning. Only after paying did we notice that there had apparently been a mix-up with the next table. One of the items we ordered was missing from the bill, while an item from the neighboring table was listed. Since the price difference was only about two to three euros and we only noticed the mistake afterward, we didn't bother to clarify the matter. Overall, the food was okay, but it didn't particularly impress us. Anyone looking for a simple dinner will certainly be satisfied here. The prices are what you'd expect in a tourist town like Renesse. For us, it's a solid three stars – mainly thanks to the friendly and prompt service.

Positive: Nice and centrally located. Negative: The mushroom pizza was good, nothing special. The ham pizza was awful! Clearly the worst pizza I've ever had! The ham tasted terrible. A far cry from the taste of good Italian ham... especially if you advertise yourself as an Italian pizzeria... shame on you! We called the waiters over to simply ask for another slice, and although they made a gesture as if they were coming, they never arrived.

The food was very, very delicious and fresh, and the portions were perfectly adequate. Unfortunately, it was very expensive. Four pizzas, four large Cokes Zero, and an appetizer cost a total of €107, which is really quite a lot...

Great place, and I really loved the Fruiti di mare Pizza! The restaurant was calm and me and family had a great time here. The best is they allowed me to bring our puppy JRT inside.

Located on a side street, it has a very cozy feel. The food was tasty, and the pizzas had a normal amount of toppings. The prices are exorbitant; the value for money is poor. To top it off, olives were added to the bill that we hadn't ordered. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Beware of this scam! Unfortunately, we also fell victim to their trick. When we ordered, we were simply asked if we wanted bread – without any indication that it was an extra-cost appetizer. Shortly afterward, a large platter of bread and olives was served, which later turned out to be two combined appetizers for a total of €12. When we immediately pointed out that it was a misunderstanding and that we hadn't ordered it, this was completely ignored. A refund was supposedly impossible – even though we hadn't eaten anything yet. The staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. They showed no understanding whatsoever, insisting that we had "agreed" – even though the situation was clearly misleading. Overall, we felt like we weren't being taken seriously as guests and were treated poorly. Especially at these prices, clear communication and respectful service should be a given.

The food and service were terrible. They add extra charges to the bill and you don't get this money back.

We ate there with our dog (without a reservation). The staff was very attentive and immediately brought water for our dog. The pizza and pasta we ordered were prepared very quickly and tasted delicious. Excellent value for money! We highly recommend it!

The food (lasagna and pizza) was on the table within 10 minutes. Not great... The kitchen staff were all looking at their phones 🙈. The friendliness and service were otherwise excellent.

Some people are never satisfied... We've been there twice and loved it! You can't make pizzas like that at home; they're delicious and come from a special oven. The spaghetti frutti di mare and the bread with aioli and olives were also fantastic! The service was perfect! And all for prices that are sadly unheard of in Germany these days. We'll definitely be back!

Very simple and mediocre pasta dishes, completely overpriced. Plus, a "greeting from the kitchen" (bread with dip and olives for a ridiculous €11.40, a 0.4 liter Coke for a whopping €7.50). Sure, it's a vacation spot and all, but you still feel ripped off. Do yourself a favor and just walk past the store 😉

We expected more. The pizza didn't taste good. The supposedly homemade tomato sauce was nothing special and didn't feel like it was made with fresh tomatoes. There are better pre-made pizzas. The carbonara tasted okay, but the portion was too small. Prices were overpriced. It had the feel of a tourist restaurant. We ended up there because we couldn't find a seat anywhere. Now we know why...

The pizza was super delicious. The manager and staff were nice. I asked for pizza rolls, and the waiter said no problem. Then we got two pizza rolls with olives. We wanted one pizza roll and no olives. Seems like a rip-off. Paid a total of €30 more. I asked the waiter about it, and of course he pretended he didn't understand me. My personal opinion: Go to your favorite Italian restaurant at home and you'll save a lot of money. I wouldn't recommend it unless you like throwing money away.

Wij zijn en enorm teleurgesteld in Buon Cuore. Waar wij vorig jaar meerdere malen enorm lekker en gezellig gegeten hebben, kwamen wij van een "koude" kermis thuis.. Het was die dag enorm heet, onze kinderen van onder de 5 waren hongerig en hadden enorme dorst, dus bij aankomst heb ik vriendelijk om een glaasje water voor de kinderen gevraagd. Dit werd even aan het barpersoneel extra gevraagd of dit kon. Ik gaf al aan, dat we sowieso wilde gaan dineren en daarbij ook gewoon drinken wilde bestellen. Echter een glaasje kraanwater vooraf kon niet.. (Wat ik met 30 graden plus gewoon echt belachelijk en klantonvriendelijk vind) Verder bestelde ik een pizza quatro formaggio.. En u kunt zien en zelf oordelen wat dit voorstelde.. zie foto. Ik was blij toen we konden gaan, dit was de laatste keer.

Very tasty, very friendly staff. The only drawback is the rapidity from ordering to the finished pizza. There's no cozy atmosphere, and the tables are very close together, making it feel a bit like a mass production line. There's still room for improvement, but otherwise, a definite recommendation.

Not recommended: we ordered a pizza and salad each, and when asked for bread, we said yes. A Coke, a beer. Then came bread with dip and a large bowl of olives (which we don't like at all!!!). The bread tasted really good, but it was meant to be with the salad. It took ages, the bread had been eaten in the meantime, and then the salad arrived with the pizza. The crust wasn't fully cooked, but the toppings were reasonably good. Okay, maybe they'll charge extra for the bread, but what about the olives??? €70 for two people, so they probably included the €10 tip themselves... Stomach cramps followed later.

The appetizer didn't arrive...we were forgotten...after we asked what was going on...our food arrived (but not the appetizer). The food was cold...the pasta was undercooked...the meat was dry...not seasoned. We've never had such a bad meal. Not worth a star!

My 9-year-old left hungry. And that was for €16.80 a portion. We had a bill of €83.20, and the experience was mixed. Rather poor. I expected more. Time for a review, and it's not good... We ordered and picked up two pizzas tonight. Once we got back to the campsite, which is literally a five-minute bike ride away, the pizzas were cold—not lukewarm, but cold! I called about it and explained the situation to a relatively friendly young man. Once I cycled back, I was asked where the cold pizzas were. I literally said, "Should I cycle back and forth to have you check if the pizzas were actually cold?" Of course, they are cold now... The young man I spoke to on the phone said, "I'll assume the best because it's possible there are two people eating pizzas at your place right now, and I'll give them two free pizzas." Really, thank you for treating customers this way. Anyway, my biggest problem wasn't even the cold pizzas; where work is done, mistakes happen, and if it's resolved properly, you won't hear me. No, it was the attitude of the woman behind the bar—yuck! What an unfriendly, unprofessional restaurant! When I initially picked up my order and waited a bit at the bar with a beer (all of €3.90), I was greeted kindly and everything was fine. But when I returned a second time after complaining, I was treated like dirt! Not a smile, no more friendly waitresses, except for a blonde woman who was just as friendly as before. If this were to be read, I'd give her my compliments. When I asked if I could change €20 to give a tenner tip for the two pizzas that should have been good initially, the woman in question said, "Sorry, we don't have change." What an unbelievable excuse, the terrace was literally packed. If that's actually true, then it's a completely worthless place. As I left, I spoke to the guy on the phone and said I'd like to give another tenner for the service, but there was no change. He told me I could also pay by card. So I tipped an extra tenner for what seemed like a huge problem I caused by filing a simple complaint. We're at the campsite here in Renesse, and everyone on this field and next door knows how I was treated. Because of this experience, I hope it will cost them a lot more than just two simple (hot pizzas). Again, everyone makes mistakes, but treating your customers less than they deserve because they have a complaint is a no-go! Btw, the pizzas were fine the second time, I just wasn't hungry after this experience 👍🏻

The restaurant is centrally located in Renesse. The food is okay. The prices are outrageous. Olives and bread that weren't ordered directly cost over €10. The kids' pizza was only €1 off the regular price of a large pizza, even though the menu lists kids' pizzas for significantly less. An additional topping on the regular pizza was charged an extra €5.

We had a delicious meal here! Service was quick, so drinks were included, but the pizzas arrived super fast. We all loved all five pizzas! The terrace is lovely and cozy. Our dog even got a bowl of water right away. Highly recommended! 👍

If you don't have high expectations when it comes to food, this is the place for you. The only really good thing was the bread with aioli at the beginning – fresh, crispy, delicious. Unfortunately, things went downhill rapidly after that: The lasagna was an absolute disgrace – a disappointment both in taste and appearance. The spaghetti pomodori also seemed bland and lacking in refinement. The bottled drinks were at least okay – but that's really not a feat. Overall, the restaurant strongly gives the impression of a typical tourist tavern: all show, little substance – and hefty prices. Conclusion: Not worth a visit. Once and never again.

Hidden costs are a rip-off here. Two pizzas with drinks (apple spritzer) at a resort for €60—there's not much you can really say about that. What bothers me is that according to the menu, we would have only spent €40. "Could we bring you a piece of bread as a starter?" Yes, that costs extra. The bread was €5, and the olives that came with it, which we weren't even asked about, were another €5. A calzone, which we didn't even know existed, was also on the bill and canceled. Pizza not completely eaten, wrapped in boxes. Another €3 extra. The table was a bit sticky (but that's the material, we were told), otherwise the atmosphere was quite good. The food was also good.

We received a friendly welcome and the food was good. BUT!!! In the end, we were ripped off without any clue! After ordering our drinks, some fresh pizza bread and olives were placed on the table without further comment. No one ordered, so we thought it was a small gesture to pass the time, like in other restaurants, since we were traveling with children. In the end, we were so disappointed by this behavior: we were billed for this gesture and kept separate so it wouldn't be noticed. Friends from Holland say this isn't common. So, once, never again!

Quickly ate a pizza, it was indeed quickly on the table at a full terrace but it would have been better if the chef had taken a bit more time. This was not good, dough tasteless and as flat as a pancake (this is called dead dough) and only just cooked Pizza dripped with fat and oil in the middle and was tough and dry on the outside. After a few bites I gave up. Around me there were not very happy faces either. The owner does not know what comes out of the kitchen or he does not care. In short, also considering the other reviews not recommended.

There are many great restaurants in Renesse and the surrounding area. Pizzeria Buon Cuore, however, is not one of them. You're handed the menu, then the (unfriendly) waiter stands impatiently at the table, waiting for your order. The starter was impressive, but unfortunately, we weren't given any cutlery. Bread with olives was €13. Hmm. A large beer was €7.50. Hmm. The 4 Seasons pizza had a topping I'd never seen on a 4 Seasons pizza before. Extremely greasy. My wife had a pasta dish, which resulted in a stomach upset. We wouldn't go there again.

Bread with olives was served as a starter 👍I also had Vitello Tonnato as a starter which I didn't really like. My spaghetti carbonara was very good. The pizzas looked mega big and appetizing. Price performance was okay!

Supermarket meals are a better option than eating pasta here! Bolognese is a sour tomato sauce without any flavor and a tablespoon of minced meat. The pasta with chicken was equally tasteless. Both without a shred of cheese. The worst part is that it made us both sick. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open today, because I stopped by and called to report this. Once and never again. A good frozen pizza tastes better!!

The food was way too oily and creamy. The pasta we had was sometimes stuck together in chunks and sometimes grilled dry or not cooked properly. The kids' pizzas were way too soggy and they weren't even half finished. The setting and appearance is nice, but also somewhat misleading. The service is not annoying, but certainly not sincere, with the low point being the question, Did you enjoy it? To which we said, not really. It's too heavy and creamy. The response was: Annoying, do you want debit card or cash? In short, not recommended!

Ordered pizza quatro formaggi. Got a pizza with 2 small pieces of goat cheese and a piece of blue cheese. The rest of the pizza was just tomato sauce with no cheese in sight. Disappointing.

I don't think we've ever had such bad food or felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. A catastrophe.
