Great restaurant for pasta and pizza. Good value for money.

It seems like this pizzeria gets better every year. The pizza was well-topped with absolutely fresh ingredients and not too much. So no soggy pizza base with a lot of wet mush dumped on top. Our pasta bolognese had a freshly prepared ragout just like Nona makes it in Italy: simply tomatoes, onions, carrots, celery, parsley, and some garlic, oregano, and bay leaf, very finely chopped and simmered for a while. No canned stuff. It was delicious and the service was nice and friendly too! Where do you find this anymore! We will be back soon!

We ate here 3 times during our 2-week holiday on Terschelling. Good pizza, pasta, and risotto. Also nice large portions, so good value for money.

I ate here twice during my holiday on Terschelling, once the pizza and once the pasta carbonara. Both times I thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the dish. The pizza dough is truly delicious, and the pasta is made with quality ingredients!

Technically a nice place - but far too loud. Food is good, but not brillant. Pizza has a tendency of being wet. Salat was always perfect, while the Lasagne (that we had only once) had not enough souce. It was more noodles with many layers. Became rather expensive over the years. 3 of 5 times our order got lost and forgotten

The rather average older reviews are currently unjustified. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was friendly and quick. The pizza is juicy and generously topped with a nice crispy crust. All of our pizzas were delicious.

We visited you for the first time last night, and by the way, we had never been to Terschelling before either. But when we walked in, it was really busy and lively. My wife and I had reserved a table for two, and the service was good, and the staff and the owner were very friendly! And the wine was delicious and the pizzas were really super! We had the Del Cacciatore and the Frutti Di Mare. We will definitely come back to you when we are on Terschelling again!

The worst and most expensive pizza I have eaten in ages. The pizza crust wasn't good, just like cardboard. Not recommended as far as I'm concerned.

We're here because we really wanted pizza and saw on Google Maps that this was the closest place to the beach. Great choice! I haven't had such a good spicy pizza in ages, and my wife's salami pizza tonight was also fantastic. There's a great play area for our little one with loads of toys to keep her entertained, but it wasn't even necessary since the service and food arrived so quickly that we only had time to take a quick look at the fire truck. Highly recommended! If I'm ever in the area again, we'll definitely go back.

Terrible. The food is way too salty; basically you expect more for the money, but oh well. After waiting 25 minutes for someone to come and take my drink, I decided to just go find someone myself, pay, and just drink my cola at home to wash away the salty taste.

I ate here for the first time. And I will definitely go back again. I had a very tasty pizza, and my sister and father had a lasagna that tasted very good. Friendly staff. And a nice boss. We were shown to a table full of plates and flies everywhere. We decided to sit inside, and it took a very long time before someone came to serve us. The tables were very sticky. The dessert didn't arrive until 30 minutes later. Our waitress was very nice, but it all simply took too long. I found it a mediocre experience.

Really delicious pizzas, nice and efficient service, where there is both an Italian and a Terschelling atmosphere.

Excellent pizza, Good cheese and rich with toppings. No part of the pizza’s was burned. We were staying at a holiday park on terschelling and the pizza got right delivered to our front door. Nice staff, good service.

We placed an order at 6:00 PM, it was supposed to arrive at 6:45 PM, and two hours later we still hadn't heard anything. We emailed twice and called frequently but were unreachable… eventually they answered and it turned out something had gone wrong. Now the order is arriving after all, with a bottle of wine included as an apology, but we do not consider the service satisfactory because of this…

The service, the wine, the limoncello, and the cheese and meat starter were really excellent, but where have the delicious pizzas from last year gone? There was a somewhat hardened layer of cheese on top that doesn't belong on a pizza? As a result, the tenderness disappeared.. What a shame.. we were used to much better, and as enthusiastic as we were last year, it was a bit disappointing this time. Years ago, I had a huge run-in there, which has contributed to me always having a bad aftertaste whenever I drive past. Cashew nut allergy. At the start of our meal, which consisted of baguette with herb butter, we were told, after asking, that pesto (with cashews instead of pine nuts) had been incorporated into the herb butter (nothing about this was stated on the menu). I had never experienced anything like it before. I had an immediate severe reaction and reported that I had to go straight to the hotel to get allergy medication. Upon returning a few hours later, the pizza was cold; no new pizza was provided, and I had to pay full price for the food. A waste.

We had a delicious meal. It took a bit long for the food to arrive. There was a mistake in the kitchen. As an apology, we received a round of drinks on the house. Very thoughtful!

Super good food and excellent service.

I had pasta Carbonara here tonight. Ugh, what a shoddy job by the kitchen! Such a simple dish served with very good quality guanciale (it must be said), but then butchered with a huge amount of rancid Gouda cheese, yuck, yuck, and double yuck. Incomprehensible; you shouldn't pretend to be an Italian restaurant if you do that. Absolutely not Serie A level!

Ordered pizzas for delivery. Reasonably okay, just not crispy. Maybe you could improve that? Would it taste better in the restaurant? Also, it was apparently very busy and it took a while for the pizzas to arrive; however, the delivery lady was extremely friendly. 5 stars for the delivery.

Tried their frutti di mare pizza. Rich ingredients and served with garlic oil on our request. It was very tasty. I recommend visitors to try the local Terschelling bier Schoemrakker. Also very tasty...

Our Frutti di Mare pizzas were served super fast. Generously topped with plenty of prawns and salmon. Tasted delicious, also thanks to the extra garlic oil. Friendly service. We would love to come back!

Cozy, nice staff and delicious food

On the busiest day of the year, May 15th, we walked in from the pouring rain without a reservation. Naturally, everything was booked and there was actually no room. Just as we were about to turn around and leave, we were asked to wait a moment. After a lot of shuffling around reservations for large groups and small tables, they managed to make room for us. In short, very happy with the service! The food and the atmosphere were also great.

It was a bit busier today, and due to the weather, everyone was inside. Then it does act a bit like a sound box. Perhaps use some wall covering or net curtains to counteract sound reflection.

A popular, well-frequented Italian restaurant with delicious food. My "Frutti di Mare" pizza was excellent, spicy with plenty of cheese. They added chili oil upon request, and the truffle pasta with beef fillet was superb. The antipasti platter was also excellent, so I highly recommend it! Reservations are advisable; we got one of the last available tables inside.

Bad food, tasteless, even the pizza wasn't good. There was some sunshine on the terrace, though, out of the wind.

I had a delicious pizza and a drink was specially made for me that wasn't on the menu. The man who brought the food was really friendly, highly recommended!

So bad, reserved way in advance and when we arrived at the agreed time our table had been given away. Something about a reservation system that doesn't work. We could sit outside though (with 8 degrees in the evening). So think carefully before you go here! So bad!!!

What keyboard 'heroes' again in the reviews!! Great food! We've been coming here for years. Last year we even got a free bottle of wine. Just.....because it was around December 5th. Wanting to tear a restaurant apart so mercilessly online? Heroes It gets busy there sometimes.....why would that be?........and then things go wrong every now and then, just like everywhere. Sourpusses... there are plenty of them. Get a life or speak to them face to face and give constructive tips, because everyone can use those. 4 stars out of 5 average says enough. Back here again on November 25th after four years. The pizzas are still fantastic and well-topped, and the crust is also excellent. Fast, friendly service. Back to Terschelling on December 21st after 18 years. We'd eaten here often in previous years, but even during the pandemic, the (delivered) pizzas are still as excellent as ever.

Had pizza margarita and BBQ chicken delivered in Formerum. Ordered around 5:30 PM and it arrived around 6:15 PM. The pizzas were delicious!

A very cozy restaurant with delicious dishes. The deluxe antipasti were especially extensive and enjoyable. The wines served were also very good.

We'd driven past it countless times but never gone inside. So, that was a lot of missed opportunities. We walked in, and the cozy decor on the side with the open kitchen immediately won us over. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly. In short, this is one to remember and to return to.

A cozy pizzeria, quite busy for this time of year, but understandable considering the quality of the food. Prosecco with garlic bread to start, delicious pizza del cacciatore, and a pizza formaggi with a fine rosé. Finished with a limoncello scroppino. We'll definitely be back!

I go there every year to get pizza

We had the pleasure of dining here with the band during Rock & Roll Street 2025. A far-from-ordinary pizzeria. Delicious dishes with super-fresh ingredients. Attentive staff, with the enthusiastic owner as a shining example.

We were a bit late with our reservations, but we still managed to get a spot. We had a delicious pizza. The service was great and friendly.

Delicious food. Friendly service. The restaurant has no atmosphere at all. The floors are broken, and the robot vacuum cleaner is in the middle of the restaurant. A makeover would do wonders.

We had a wonderful meal for two, starting off with an antipasto platter full of delicacies, followed by a glass of wine. We then ordered a delicious pizza and wine. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the cozy terrace. The service was super friendly. We just forgot to ask about the drinks menu; the four wines were delicious, but the price was exorbitant at €8.00 per glass. A shame.

A really lovely place with a super sweet, welcoming hostess. I was there with my husband, best friend, and almost-one-year-old. She had some great recommendations for the little one, and he had a fantastic meal! (Pasta Bolognese). I'm a vegetarian myself and had a delicious pizza (Pizza Spinaci). A lovely family atmosphere and a nice bonus: we were allowed to take any leftovers home with us, of course. 😄 Oh, and great music!

We were looking forward to pizza, but this restaurant was a huge disappointment. The atmosphere was bland and the waitresses were incredibly young. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else to drink, but we were politely asked afterwards how we'd enjoyed it. We wanted the tuna pizza without capers and olives, but unfortunately, it was very dry. The capers and olives that were omitted naturally contained liquid and oil, but the pizza maker should have thought of something to prevent it from being dry. (A very simple solution would have been to add a little olive oil, but there wasn't any on the table.) My pizza was tasty, but very salty. A different waitress, who cleared our table and saw the amount of pizza left, politely asked if we wanted to take something home. (She wasn't aware of the dry pizza.) This restaurant is very child-friendly, so I think it would be great for families. Unfortunately, it wasn't for us anymore; it was also very noisy.

We had delicious pizzas from Isola Bella. We're mostly vegetarian, and they had some super tasty combinations 👌🏼 They were a bit later than we ordered at our campsite, but they always mention that when ordering during peak periods and popular times. We called for an update and were greeted kindly. The delivery driver was also very attentive.

We were here with a reservation during the week during the summer holidays, and it was packed. That speaks volumes about the quality. Our pizzas arrived quite quickly and were all delicious, even the gluten-free one. The price-performance ratio is rather average; the pizzas quickly approach the €20 mark, which is quite ambitious. Nevertheless, we would come back, because ultimately, the quality of the food counts, and that's definitely the case here.

Huge family restaurant. Stay away if you don't like children. The food was fine, but the spaghetti carbonara was awful and disgusting.

When we were there, the high life was in full swing at the neighboring tables. Despite our large group, which included many children, we were still served excellently and very courteously, and the delicious food was served quickly. Thank you very much!

Pizza tonno was decent in taste, but the crust was like cardboard. Spaghetti carbonara. Flavorless. It did have bacon, but it was awful. So, I won't be back.

A really nice family restaurant with very friendly, involved people!!! I also ate the most delicious pizza in years, composed myself according to my wishes by adding some extra ingredients to a pizza from the menu😋. We got a nice cap as a gift to take home as a surprise with the children's ice cream, a nice souvenir of a nice holiday on Terschelling.

After seeing the website and reading the reviews we were enthusiastic and cycled 10 minutes through the rain. The starter was still partly frozen, the red wine was poured into dessert wine glasses and the staff was rather unprofessional/inexperienced. Not something we would repeat... very surprising that the restaurant was fully booked.

Nice accommodation, friendly staff and fast service. But you go for the food and that was enough. The acoustics are not great and once the dining room filled up it was a cacophony of sound.

Spacious place with a nice play area for children. The pizzas were fine. The pasta watery and not tasteful. The burrata salad (at 14.50) consisted of chopped lettuce, a few cherry tomatoes and dry mozzarella. The olive oil is the tasteless refined variety, not the extra virgin. In short, mediocre quality, but a nice place.

We came across the restaurant by chance, which looks very *inconspicuous* from the outside, and were more than surprised. Super lovely staff, very attentive and great food. Super delicious from the starter to the main course. We had gotten a table at 8 a.m. and noticed how it suddenly became emptier. We didn't even notice that it was officially closing time at 9 a.m. and we were asked for dessert and drinks, which we then declined. So it was definitely a successful evening. :) PS: Reserve :=)

Context: we ordered takeaway. So can’t say anything on atmosphere, etc. Order: Pizza and spaghetti bolognese First, the spaghetti was overcooked and watery. Forget al dente, it was beyond stracotto. On the upside, at least it was somewhat hydrating. Just not sure if it was the watery pasta that made the flavor so bland, or the bland sauce that made the flavor so bland… Scale of 1-10, I give the pasta a “not Italian and maybe not even pasta”. The pizza on the other hand was pretty okay. Had some great flavor and probably would have been really good if it didn’t look and feel like it had been under the warming lights the entire day. It reminded me of elderly retirees that move to tropical locations and spend their whole day sunbathing without sun screen. (Hopefully I needn’t say more to make that picture clear). Pizza gets a 4 out of 10. Flavor was pretty solid, but I could have played frisbee with it had I decided not to eat it. Overall, I would describe the takeout food as “edible at best”. I emphasize takeout because I have a feeling that (like many restaurants do) they have a different way of cooking food for dine-in guests. Like “fresh” for example. But I feel the takeout strategy needs to be completely scrapped and overhauled. Especially if you’re going to charge as much as the really good Italian restaurant on the island that unfortunately happens to be closed Wednesday and Thursday, leaving me to seek alternatives.

We had made a reservation, so we had a couch available on which our little dog could sleep comfortably in the corner on my husband's warm coat! The pizza had a thin base but tasted delicious. The lasagna was a bit ordinary. . Just a nice place with hard workers!!

The first impression was fine, we had made a reservation with a group of 9 people and were led through the attractive-looking restaurant to a covered square behind the restaurant. Unfortunately, patio heaters could not really make it warm. Delivery was chaotic and an excess consumption was charged. The pizzas were okay but could be better, the house calzone had a lot of dough and little filling.. Shame...
