Pizzeria Nerone in Wijk 01 Centrum

Closed for six months now. :-( ......... Delicious food, authentic Italian restaurant with a wood-fired oven that produces delicious pizzas. The owners (an extremely polite and friendly couple) are from southern Italy.

Great food and friendly staff! For me, the best pizzeria in Purmerend.

I'm afraid Giulia and Efisio have quit. The phone isn't answered, and everything is dark in the shop. I sometimes think back to Giorgio with nostalgia. I think the results speak for themselves: weighed and found wanting.

The meals were good and plentiful. There was only one waitress serving due to the holiday, but she was working tirelessly for everyone. There were eight of us, but everything was perfectly prepared. In short, we highly recommend returning.

There is a delivery guy working there. who just got to his e-bike pedals. I think not even 12, has a really big mouth to people who walk by with dogs where he delivered in the neighborhood with all kinds of diseases to swear etc I would also order a pizza there Order Can you immediately apologize smartass

Food was good young lady was in the restaurant and in the kitchen did both take the order from the customers and arrange website order. She had help from a young man who was very inexperienced. Hats off to her

Bad. Wednesday (2021) special €7.50/pizza. Ordered two, had a long wait, but I notified them beforehand. Finally delivered after 1:15. Lukewarm, tough, and limp. A waste of time and money. I thought I was supporting local restaurants during the coronavirus pandemic. Never again. It's a shame, because if you eat there, it's not that bad. Note: now (2023) new owner (new opportunities).

What a cool place this is, you can look past a neat Italian man into the red hot oven. Furthermore it is a cozy restaurant with a nice atmosphere created by how the walls are decorated. I will definitely come here more often!

These people do not deserve the name Nerone, as good as it always was, it is now so bad, I have made several attempts but these people not only make bad food but shout and lie. Ordered today via home delivery, they called after half an hour to say that the food is ready but they are not allowed to deliver! Paid everything and had to call home delivery!! Bizarre, in the end someone was chartered to pick it up, they did not give the tiramisu and the sandwich with herb butter was not edible, it was so hard and lumps in something that should look like herb butter. Start complaining about taxes in Hollandia etc. Never again for us and don't recommend it to anyone!

Waited 2 hours for an order, after many attempts to call and being unreachable, the money was collected in the restaurant. Arrogant mess, having a big face and acting like the customer is crazy. Not good quality. Too salty, hard pieces and little taste.

The food was very tasty this time, the walls have been given a warmer color, a small tip from the new owner, an occasional dust cloth doesn't do any harm.

Pizzas were so hard you could break a window with them and all the accessories placed on them did not melt onto the pizza, Coke no longer had any sting! Everyone should get their food at the same time, which didn't happen, so everyone ate differently because otherwise it would never have been cold for us again!

Nerone never again!!! I have given up hope. In the other reviews you can read that the old owner has left and that is certainly noticeable. After 5 bad experiences, I went to the competitor for the first time today. What a relief that was.

If you don't like this place you just don't like Italian food, very very tasty and homemade I will definitely go more often.

Simply a top Italian place. Nice service. Delicious pizzas. Literally reminded us of a holiday in Tuscany.

New owner and you notice that…. The spaghetti carbonara is a shadow of what the previous owner made. Little cream, little bacon, little spaghetti but lots of ground pepper!

Eating a pizza was fine. The service, 2 women and 1 boy, takes too long. Customers wait a long time for their drinks. Sometimes you don't see one of the staff for 10 minutes, how is this possible? and customers don't have drinks yet. There is no structure. No attention is paid. The music is bright and shrill and too loud. They should definitely do something about that. You constantly hear the telephone ringing very loudly, this is due to people ordering and picking up. If you add a little structure, this can become a cozy restaurant.

Bad atmosphere, bickering, service with a thick cloud of perfume (lady), staff friendly polite but not at all cheerful, the food was ok but not a tour de force. The older chef was still somewhat of a calling card for the business, but Nerone is no longer...

Ordered food and it said 1 hour, after 1.5 hours there was still nothing. Called again and was told in half an hour. In the end I waited 2.5 hours and got nothing. Called again and they hung up because I apparently whined too much.

The food was good. I thought it was too crowded inside, tables/chairs close together. All tables were occupied. The music was also very loud. We had difficulty understanding each other. I'm really not a critical person, but I can't make anything else of this. Staff very friendly and helpful.

It's great that the pizzas are cheaper on Wednesdays, but please let me know in advance that I don't have to sleep that evening. Delivering two pizzas took 3+ hours. Possibly a good service for the night fishermen among us! 🎣

Yesterday we had a delicious meal with the kids at Nerone's. pizzas are delicious! on pizza day it may take a little longer, but that's okay. Otherwise you'll just have to go another day. Staff friendly! Try their best. Been coming there for years, now has a different owner for a while. But the pizzas are exactly the same, we had a delicious meal. We wish the owners good luck and see you again soon!!

The first time I ordered here my pizza was completely cold. gave it another chance yesterday. We had to wait two hours for two pizzas. I called the owner and she indicated that a coupon would be delivered. I honestly thought that was very neat. However, after calling twice, this still had not happened. Really bad service!!! Very dissatisfied.

Ordered pizza and baguette with herb butter today. Pizza very cold and unedible, bread was very hard, the ducks also had difficulty with it, and in the end it made me feel nauseous. I won't order from here again.

I didn't know such delicious pizzas could exist. This pizza maker really turns it into a work of art. Delicious base, nice and crispy and perfect toppings. Big "10" for the pizza NERONE. In addition, it really is an Italian restaurant in terms of design. No dusty knick-knacks on the walls, but simple tables and chairs. Service is also excellent, you can occasionally walk to the counter to indicate that you want something to drink or an ice cream, but that is not a punishment. By the way, also highly recommended...... the home-made TIRAMISU!!!! Thanks Nerone's and see you next time.

I strongly advise people not to eat here, as I had to wait quite a long time for my food, which was a carpaccio salad and a pasta. The food came and I wanted to start with the salad there was a live moth in my food. I call them to report this. I can't even get my money back, they couldn't even say why this was, but we weren't allowed to write a bad review after all, do NOT eat here!!

Ordered here regularly, now a bad experience. Apparently, an order for 3 small pizzas should take more than 1.5 hours. Unfortunately the last time nerone... This is how you lose customers.

The risotto was very tasty and well filled with fish. The homemade tiramisu delicious. I immediately thought I'd order one too, but I'll leave that aside given the reviews. It's a shame that the reviews are so bad because of the service because there is really nothing wrong with the food.

Ordered from Nerone several times. Always the lasagna. Just ordered again and received two cold lasagnas. Called. Got new one. Neat, I thought. They also turned out to be cold. One of which was even colder than room temperature. Called again. No, that wasn't possible, she had put them in the oven herself. And she couldn't do anything about it. 25 euros wasted. Very sorry Nerone. I won't order from you anymore.

Previously picked up delicious lasagna and pizza and had it delivered. Today we ordered lasagna and took a bite. Is the lasagna cold? Called back and stated it was cold. They delivered 2 lasagnas again. They then deliver 2 cold lasagnas again. Fridge cold. We call back and the lady says she put it in the oven herself and she can't do that. Our oven is now preheating. Probably from the freezer to shortly in the oven? Really worthless!!

Placed an order when it was stated it would take an hour. After an hour we called to ask if we could pick up the order, but then we were told that "we should come an hour later". The lady on the phone did not understand us and the conversation was taken over by a man. The staff sighs when we indicate that we will have to wait 2 hours and hands the phone back to the woman after he starts talking in another language. Ultimately order cancelled. Treated terribly rudely by the staff, ridiculous. We will never order from here again!

Delicious food with nice service.

What a horror, first having to wait an hour for the delivery person and then it turns out that they were the wrong pizzas. As a result, we had to wait 2 hours for our food. And it was almost a matter of surviving, luckily our food arrived after 2 hours and it was tasty

I had dinner here with my son. Thick layer of dust everywhere. The environment was shabby and the service could have been friendlier. And not to mention our pizzas. It tasted very much like dough.

At 5:15 PM 3 pizzas ordered before 7:00 PM were delivered at 8:45 PM never again

Very unfortunate, the food is very tasty but the delivery is a disaster! They indicate that it will take an hour, but then after an hour and a half they decided to call. The food still had to be prepared and if we could just come and pick it up because they have to wait for a delivery person. Unfortunately, I will order elsewhere from now on.

Called at the end of the afternoon to order, was put on hold. Waited for minutes and then hung up. Son, who was already in town, went to a pizzeria to order. It was very busy so he had it delivered to his home. After waiting an hour and a half I called... "New delivery person, drove the wrong way, pizzas will be prepared again urgently and delivered in 15 minutes"... x4 they forgot to add plus no apologies at all! 2.5 hours after ordering we could finally eat. We had only just finished our pizzas when the phone rang, apparently no payment had been made(??)... If only our son had not done that at the cash register at the beginning of the evening!

AVOID THAT PIZZA DAY!! Called 3 times today. 1st time phone not answered, 2nd time a lady answers and asks if I have a moment. Then I am kept on the line for 4 minutes and I hear several telephones ringing in the background, although they are being answered. The 3rd time I call back and am told if I have a moment again. Stop pizza day if you guys can't handle it. It is not the first time. Wednesdays are always chaotic and pizzas arrive late. Great pizzas and the staff is usually friendly, so that's not the problem. But improve the capacity on Wednesdays or stop the discount days if you can't handle it! Very amateurish!!!

Do you want to wait two hours for your pizza? Do you want to be fobbed off after an hour and fifteen minutes with the excuse that the pizza is on its way? Don't you mind if your pizza is lukewarm? Do you also like a chewy pizza? Then this is your pizzeria. We weren't very fond of it. The pizza was well topped and baked, but it looks like it was in the oven for an hour before it was delivered. Next time just Pizzeria Italia.

Ate in the restaurant, food came super fast. Very tasty, warm, not small portions. Slightly limited choice of soft drinks without sparkling, but a large menu in terms of food. No trendy place with unnecessary frills, just good food.

We ordered 2 pizzas to be delivered...at 4:30 PM...after an hour she called to say they couldn't deliver them. If we could get them ourselves...18.15 we could get them...on arrival the pizzas were not ready. They were ready at 7 p.m. When they arrived home they were cold. Unfortunately, the first and last time we ordered from you... Staff shrugged their shoulders after we indicated that this was not possible. Scandalous. We understand, but this is not nice.

Pizzas are delicious, our favorite! However, waiting times are always long for delivery, we usually pick it up and it will be ready in half an hour.

I like Italy food, i was there twice time. First pizza was better than second time i was there. But will see next time. Staff very kindly but staff girl, she can’t keep smile.

arrived at 6:00 PM as the first customers, the people who came in third were ready before we received our food (7:10 PM) at 7:00 PM the same waitress we ordered from came to ask if we had seen the menu yet ... at 7:10 PM we still got our food, my calzone tasted very much like dough, which makes sense because it was my buddy's raw pizza too. The calzone seemed to be filled with a package of salami and ham slices from the supermarket, but we were now so hungry that we ate anyway.

Good homely food and friendly service. The garlic butter could use a little more garlic however I have had several pasta an pizza dishes and everything is good.

Last year I left a negative review because the delivery was very late and the communication surrounding it was not great. However, today I received my two delicious pizzas exactly at the agreed time. 4 stars because I can't erase the previous experience. But if this had been my only experience I would have given 5 stars!

It was a great choice with stylish good Italian food

You order a pizza at 5:00 PM, promised delivery at 6:00 PM. Arrival pizza 7:15 PM. Regularly ordered a pizza from Nerone with my parents. Several times the pizza arrived an hour or more later than promised by Nerone. Everyone knows this feeling, waiting for food and then waiting for a long time. You don't know if it will come or when. The pizzas are tasty, but something has been wrong with the logistics system for some time. Shame. Learn from others, make some adjustments, do something with customer feedback. But unfortunately, another customer lost.

After always being a customer from an early age and often visiting the restaurant with family, I thought I would treat my wife to delicious food. First waited 3 hours for cold food on Valentine's Day, thank you, your first evening was ruined. Now it's my wife's birthday, I still no, it was just busy, waited 2 and a half hours for cold food again, my wife had to heat it up herself. Even after complaining to the boy at the door, people just laugh. Never again.

Been waiting for my pizzas for almost 2 hours.

A 30 minute delivery time was promised by telephone, but in the end it took approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes to be delivered, so not really warm anymore!!! Scandalous, this is the last time I order there!!!

I just wanted to order pizza by phone, after waiting more than 2 hours I decided to call again. The lady on the phone who I had asked clearly during the first telephone conversation how long it would take (with a convincing answer that it would take an hour). During the second conversation I received a very rude staff member with a big mouth and no customer friendliness. I will never do this again and I would strongly advise against it to everyone!

The addition of Pizzeria does Nerone short. They have so much more. But what if you still want a Pizza? Doing!
