Been ordering here for over 20 years, today I ordered again after half a year and I was really looking forward to the food, well sorry what a boring cold mess inedible and then for so much money, now I won't be seeing them again, a shame really changed to their disadvantage and then also have to wait 1.5 hours for your food, now it would have been even quicker to cycle there and back I say don't do it!!!

Ordered food around 6:00 PM... It wasn't delivered until an hour later!! 1 pizza, 1 kapsalon... Well, the kapsalon was cold and half full, and the pizza had boring toppings and the cheese was tough... In short, not recommended, and I'm used to better!!!

I've been ordering from Sphinx for years and am always satisfied. The quality is consistent, the service is fast, and the food is exactly what you'd expect from a good, reliable pizzeria/snack bar. Whether I order a pizza or a durum, it's always delicious and filling. No fuss, just a decent meal, just the way many Dutch people like it. I completely disagree with the recent negative reviews. My experience has been the exact opposite: friendly staff, fair prices (especially if you order directly and not through Thuisbezorgd), and even cheaper if you pick it up. Of course, it sometimes takes a little longer, but that's understandable. Good businesses are simply busy, and many people want their food right away. When you call to order, they always give you a ready time, and it's actually ready when you come to pick it up. Pickup is definitely faster than delivery. Loyal customers are treated like gold here. Alie and his team are always friendly and often give you a free sauce if you're a regular, a nice gesture for sauce lovers. In short: Sphinx is a regular for me when I just want good food without the fuss. Highly recommended!

I've been ordering here for years, at least 25, and regularly, right up until Ali's time. It was a great place, but after that, it just went downhill. I ordered again today, and it was inedible, with watery garlic sauce. I threw it away immediately. The shawarma was just strips of meat, more like gyros. When I took off the foil, I thought, "It doesn't even look like shawarma, take a bite, that stuff is inedible!" This place has gone to hell, never again! I literally just threw it in the trash, what a waste of money! I haven't ordered pizzas there in a while because the next day your stomach hurts. It's a real shame, and if you don't believe me, just order something. I'm not even going to call about this; I don't need a solution, nothing. You won't get another euro from me! Call Alanya or Cyprus.

The last two times I ate here, I got really sick. I thought, after a long time, I'd try again. The next day I still had intestinal problems and diarrhea all day! Stay away. Either the hygiene isn't good or the meat is bad. The service is good, but the food is truly one-star. Only worth it if you're prone to diarrhea or food poisoning.

Spearibs first time ordered very good lots of spearibs 2nd time ordered already much less and lots of fatty, poor meat still ordered for the 3rd time dark fries fried 3 times and 3 small ribs of 3 ribs each in short it gets a little worse every time and can not guarantee the quality I think it's a shame because the taste of the spearibs is really great but last time was really not sufficient price quality

For a small fries you wait 30 minutes

Ever since I lived in Heerlen, about 10 years, I have been ordering here on average once a week. So that's already about 500x! I may have had a minor comment twice and it was resolved. Not long waiting times either, food always tasty, I don't understand those poor reviews. Good grill room

Just ordered a pizza, dough too watery, too much cheese and not tasty, left it after 2 bites of pizza, contacted them to get a new pizza, they don't want it, then they say the pizza is just good! NEVER MORE THAN Shame on you if you don't even want to improve your products and deliver a pizza with decent dough and normal amount of cheese

Just ordered a lasagna here which was a mess crammed together and didn't taste good and a calzone which was still raw, the bread was still just dough and cold

First and last time. The chicken shawarma tasted and smelled strange. We didn't eat it and if I'm sick tomorrow I'll know why. Shame.

For the umpteenth time the order is not complete! First had to wait more than an hour! Then they forgot to bring the fries... another half hour later, we will never order again! Every time you have people on the phone who you barely understand, who always write down the wrong address - a sad intention

Toppers who were still able to deliver on Sunday night, due to crowds we had to wait 45 minutes, but we also ordered at the last minute. The delivery person politely apologized (even though he arrived fifteen minutes earlier than Thuisbezorgd indicated). The food was delicious, well filled durum and my girl a rich pizza. Exactly what we needed.

You might think that it is just a "neighbourhood pizza", but when you eat it, you discover that it is better than all known pizza chains

The food makes no sense at all. You pay €7.50 for a Gyros Sandwich You get a container with dry meat and a warmed up pita of 10cm. Just like a kit, you can put it together yourself... Service and ambiente superb, food, please stay away!

Ordered food, unfortunately it contained ingredients that we had not ordered, a shawarma dish with hair in it...meh, cans were dented and hot fries were baked for far too long, unfortunately first and last time.

Please get a new pizza maker! Got a Quatro Staggioni today, but that wasn't supposed to be a Staggioni at all! No tomato sauce, 1 slice of salami in the middle, no ham, no artichoke, nasty dried out mushrooms, fermented green olives, 2 pieces of peppers and way too much cheese! Are you going to get your school fees back or is it a loan from DUO? Pizzas are only becoming more expensive but the quality is decreasing!!

Zeer goedkope pizza's. Bij afhalen momenteel 7 euro per stuk voor bijna alle pizza's. Een keer ging het helaas mis toen ik van te voren bestelde. Half uur voor ophaaltijd belden zij dat ze de bestelling konden brengen. Toen ik aangaf dat het te vroeg was kreeg ik op afhaaltijd koude pizza's mee. Verder altijd tevreden!

Het is niet meer zo als eerst was Ali. sinds jij niet meer aan het roer staat is de smaak van de shoarma anders en zijn de pizza's wel heel erg klein geworden maar de prijs van de pizza is wel even 30% gestegen je vorige pizzabakker (winter 2021/2022) was goed en echt een talent. ik kwam er graag maar nu kom ik er niet meer

Een tijdje geleden twee kapsalons gekocht, voor mij en mijn vriendin, laten bezorgen. Zeer netjes verpakt, helaas was het eten koud en de tsaziki zeer waterig, smaakte nergens naar. Aan de schotel zelf was de smaak er wel. Na dat ik deze op had, was ik aan de schijterij. Jammer, misschien de volgende keer beter.
