The food was good and inexpensive. The service was friendly. We were able to sit outside, which was very cozy.

We had a wonderful meal at Pizzeria Taormina last night. What a great experience. The pizzas here are really good quality. The pizza with Parma ham, which we also have in the photo, is an absolute must. The crust was nice and crispy and well baked, and the Parma ham combined perfectly with the fresh rocket and the tasty Parmesan cheese. It was a very successful combination. Together with the pleasant, authentic Italian atmosphere in the restaurant, this made for a very pleasant evening. We enjoyed it immensely and look forward to definitely coming back to Pizzeria Taormina."

Last Thursday my boyfriend and I walked in at 7:15 PM to ask if there was a spot for us. In the entire restaurant, 2 small tables were occupied, the rest were empty. We received a snarky response that everything was FULL and the door was literally shown to us (with a wave of the hand). It was clear that we were being lied to, no way that all other tables would still be occupied around 7:30 PM. Shame, we live nearby and had a nice and delicious meal here once. After this experience we don't have to come here anymore. Something more customer-friendly would be nice and smart!

Ordered and paid for a pizza, then got a call saying there were no delivery people and if I could come pick it up. But done because I had already paid and was hungry. If I arrive there at the agreed time to pick up, I still need pizza. Went wrong, pizza burned, had to do it again. Waited a long time, then went home with pizza, which was already lukewarm at home. Ingredients thrown on top, no thank you for coming even though I wanted it delivered. Extra long wait because something went wrong and no compensation whatsoever. No bottle of wine, bowl of tiramisu or anything like a discount. This was Taormina's last time for me.

Super good food; first time delivery, lovely and warm. Took half an hour longer, but friendly service when I called.

We ate here for the first time. What a party, the people are very nice and hospitable. The food is delicious and we will definitely go there more often. Truly recommended.

Pizza was slow in coming, the house red was way too cold, but the atmosphere was very nice, service friendly, and the pizzas? Perfection.

It's a pitty because the food is very good, but we stopped ordering from them because it's impossible to get the pizzas delivered in less than 1h15 (and we live 500m away from the restaurant).

Pizzas are ok but the customer service is absolutely terrible. Also, if you order a pizza for home, it can take from 75 to 90 minutes, you have to call them ask, and they don’t respond in a nice way.

Picked up several pizzas, toppings are meager for the price, and few toppings per pizza, the pizza edge becomes tough when it gets colder and not crispy as it should be with a real Italian.

Food is great, no questions asked, but we waited more than an hour to get it. Nobody ever apologized for this or mentioned to us that it will take longer. They prioritize take away orders over dine in

We waited over 1h for pasta and 45 minutes for antipasti. When we asked why it is taking so long, the waiter said they had a take away order of 15 pizzas. They were constantly preparing take aways and it was very frustrating to sit there and feel like a hostage. When the waiter brought the food, she did not even apologised for making us wait forever, as if it’s totally normal to wait for the food for 1 hour. The food was food though, but outrageously bad service will never make me want to go there again.

After moving to The Hague, I moved near this restaurant. Have already ordered several times and picked it up myself. Delicious pizzas and pastas. Nice to have such a restaurant nearby.

Ordered pizza for the first time and unfortunately we were disappointed after the many positive reactions. It certainly wasn't dirty, but it wasn't eureka either. We have had better food from other pizzarias. The pizzas were also very sparsely covered and somewhat bland in taste.

Good pizza at a good price, small, local restaurant with pizzas at a good price

I came a random night without reservation to try the pizzas. The service was very nice, pizza was tasty and the ingredients were of good quality. The place was organised, neat. I would definitely recommend it!

The food is good, but it's a shame that the desserts are served in a plastic container. When I say something about the idea that a plastic container gives a supermarket dessert idea, I get a worthless response. Too bad it was a nice restaurant, but I don't eat out of plastic in a restaurant. Shame. We won't come anymore.

Erg lekker eten en vriendelijke bediening.

Na in Taormina Sicilie diverse, m.n. de betere, restaurants te hebben bezocht (ipv de vele zeer toeristische) getoetst of de kwaliteit en smaak in het gelijknamige Haagse locale restaurant daarbij in de buurt kwam. Dat was zo. Eten was goed, een simpele toch goede wijn, het personeel vriendelijk en attent, we werden desgevraagd voorzien van een pittige home made peperoncini. Door de drukte, grote familietafel van 8p, kwam ons 2tje wel ietwat in de schaduw. Desalniettemin tevreden. Tot snel Ciao Taormina!

Posto molto accogliente e i proprietari ti mettono a proprio agio. Pizza molto buona, customizzata sui gusti olandesi ( ma si puo chiddere di modificarle a piacimento) Abbiamo cenato e pasta e dolci sono veramente buoni, consigliato perche vale la pena come posto e qualità. Hanno anche una vespa d epoca che la invidio e delle volte sogno un giro in centro con lei!!! :)

We ordered take away and they were really fast with our pizzas, around 10-15 minutes. I think quality price the pizzas are good, best thing the dough, you can tell they have a good oven. However the ingredients weren’t too good, we ordered the buffala pizza and it was more like a mozzarella you can buy at AH or the tomate cherries or the truffle sauce weren’t too tasty. But like I said, these pizzas cost between 12-15€ and the portions are good. Good option for a pizza night with friends or family.

Wij Groningers kwamen hier "per ongeluk" terecht. Maar het voelde alsof we in Italië waren beland. Vriendelijke bediening, lekker eten en toch nog volks. Niet overdreven. We komen zeker terug ;-)

Pizza Rustica heerlijk! Fijne sfeer, huiselijk. Wij wonen al 12,5 jaar in de wijk en voelen ons hier thuis. Onze kids genieten van pizza’s en pasta’s en vooral de desserts;)

De gastheer en zijn vrouw weten op een warme Italiaanse wijze als geen ander wat écht Siciliaans eten is. Ik ben hier verast met een aantal heerlijke gerechten die gecomplimenteerd werden door de heerlijke wijn! Voor wie van echt Italiaans eten houdt, this is the place in Den Haag!

Nice margherita pizza for the first three minutes, then it starts becoming like a bread with cheese and tomato sauce on top. After eating the entire pizza my jaw was exhausted from the hard chewing. A suggestion, the pizza should be softer and easier to eat! Overall it was an ok pizza. 8 out of 10 on the pizza-cardboard scale.

I ordered two pizzas and a tiramisu through Thuisbezorgd. The prices are fair to be in the Netherlands, the order arrived on time and the delivery guy was very nice. As an Italian, the pizza is not the best, but as we are in the Netherlands, I'd say it's quite okay. I am curious to try the pastas and other things from the menu though!

Altijd aardig onthaal én heerlijke pizza. Jammer dat je er zo moeilijk kunt parkeren. Verder alles goed.
