I first thought, the knives were blunt, but you couldn't get through the bottom and there was almost a burnt smell, and then a very large group came in, so we couldn't hear each other anymore, they should have rented the whole restaurant, no, not worth repeating,

Delicious pizzas! We order from here often and eat there regularly. The staff is usually friendly and handles complaints well. Personally, I find the pasta here less flavorful.

What a dead end. Actually, a whole grave of 1000 dead ends. First, I want to address the confusion about the atmosphere at 5 stars. That's because, despite the disgusting food, we had a great time together❤️ But how has this oh-so-good restaurant been compromised by the disgusting food, the staff, and then they even dare to charge a fortune for a mess of spaghetti with nothing. ☝🏼 FROM THE MICROWAVE!!? THAT'S GUTS! Unfortunately, the owner has little tolerance and reacted rudely! This is going to happen, expect this to have a long tail. Because I'm going to take action. It's so sad that it's unfortunately necessary to warn people. So, I'm going to seek publicity!!!!

Just had dinner at Ponte Vecchio, and the food was terrible. I had a mix of different meats, and every single piece on my plate was incredibly dry. I didn't eat any of it. My husband's pasta was clearly microwaved. This food was a true insult to my Italian heart. I expressed my displeasure to the staff (who were good, by the way), but even then, no one (the chef or anyone else in the kitchen) bothered to come to my table and ask what was wrong with his food. Such a shame. I think that's what you're supposed to do. Unfortunately, I also had to pay for the plate I didn't eat much of. A real disappointment. Don't eat here if you like Italian food. Terrible 😢

Terrible staff, one pizza "forgotten," one pizza misspelled, long wait for drinks. All in all, a huge disappointment.

Unfortunately, the pizzeria Ponte Vecchio isn't what it used to be. The pizza crust was overbaked and almost impossible to cut through. The pizzas were also far too salty. Perhaps the pizza maker should go to Italy and learn how to bake pizza, just like Simon used to. There was also a very noisy group in the pizzeria, drowning out everyone else. The staff had been asked to quiet down a bit. Unfortunately, they neglected to address this noisy group. Enjoy the pizza, it was delicious, but not at Ponte Vecchio anymore.

The food was excellent as always

We thought we'd pop into a good Italian restaurant, at least that's what the outside suggested. Unfortunately, the pizzas we ordered were disappointing: the crust was poor, and the toppings weren't as expected. We were still in a lot of pain for hours afterward!

The food was average, nothing special. The problem, however, was that we had tried to make a reservation, called four times, and sent a text message. No one answered the phone, and no one responded to the text. When we decided to go on a whim and pointed this out to the manager, she reacted very nonchalantly: they simply didn't have time to answer the phone, and I had to understand. She said we should have sent an email, as if it would even be answered! Unfortunately, she couldn't offer an apology. And she didn't care whether we were going to eat there or not: "Just tell me, do you want to eat here or not?" was her pressing question. We reluctantly agreed, but the fun had faded somewhat. The wait for food was 45 minutes, which I found quite long. The service was otherwise friendly. We found the decor dated... Not recommended for a second visit.

This USED to be my favorite restaurant, but unfortunately, it takes ages and there's no half-and-half option. Delivery takes at least 2 to 3 hours. Previously, I always had a super clean and delicious meal. Such a shame!!! I can't find any excuse.

Enjoyed a nice meal with the children

Two stars for the effort, but unfortunately, our dinner at Ponte Vecchio wasn't worth more. The wait for drinks and then the food was far too long, and the pizza was rock hard! My father joked that we could get a jigsaw next time, but we wouldn't get one. We mentioned this, but our comment was ignored. Not recommended! This despite the fact that we had a very good meal here years ago.

Great! Not exceptional, but good. 100 different pizzas, and the ones we had were all okay. I'd rather have more quality than so much choice. The service was absolutely fantastic! The acoustics weren't great, and the restrooms simply weren't clean enough.

Last year was better. Not bad, but water never arrived. And they could have come more often to drink. And there were mosquitoes flying around.

Three of us went out for dinner at Ponte Vecchio. The service initially seemed good. The wine was brought promptly. After ten minutes, the order was taken. The pizzas we ordered arrived after more than half an hour. However, I received the wrong pizza. After ten minutes, I received a new one. This, too, was not the correct one. My two table companions had finished eating by then. We paid and left. A disappointing experience.

In itself nice restaurant, we had pizza and it was quite full of tasteless things. And the base was not better either, tough and without bubbles. Baking a nice pizza is not that difficult, but there are people who can't do it. And then also expensive. Don't go there, this will be a disappointment.

A worthwhile destination for a lovely evening in Fryslaan, the only drawback is that groups of 15 guests create a noise level of almost 80 dB

Deliciously tasty crispy pizza. I had the pizza with Spanish peppers. It said attention very spicy. But that was okay.

Ended up here by chance. Surprisingly large choice of pizza and haven't eaten such a good Calzone in a long time.

Come in at 8:10 PM and ask if there is room to eat. The waitress says I can sit at the bar. I'd rather not answer, are all the tables occupied, I ask looking around a 20% full restaurant. She says no, that I can choose a table myself. When she comes to bring a menu, she first says that the kitchen is closed at 8:15 PM... According to information, the restaurant is open until 10:00 PM. How special I say at 8:15 PM? She says everything is sold out and only pizzas are available. That in a 20% full restaurant.... I say I'll see if I want a pizza and if not I'll go again... she comes by after 3 minutes to see if I have already been able to make a choice... I ask is this a restaurant or a cafeteria? She looks at me very strangely... I say give me some time... She walks away again What a strange tent... Due to the bad atmosphere and poor service, I will go again. You don't go to a restaurant because you only have a choice of pizza or pizza 🍕🍕🍕

Our favorite pizzeria! Even in the Randstad, I haven't seen an Italian who sells 80 types of pizzas. Such an authentic place, I love it. And that in beautiful Bolsward!

Delicious food!!! Lots of choice

I ate a super large pizza, it was really a whopper, two calzones together, I forgot the name, really for the big eater and then pohhh and my wife had a pork tenderloin flambéed in cognac with Champion cream sauce and fries and super.

Als je van pizza houdt ga hier niet heen, ze kunnen het gewoon niet. Zeer matige zoute pizza’s, dus loop een deur verder. De pasta ging wel maar was ook een simpele uitvoering waar weinig mis mee kan gaan.

Yesterday we ate in this pizzeria where they serve delicious pizza, but where we were very cold because the heating was not on. That ruined the dinner.

Normally the food is good. But yesterday several friends and we got very sick from the pizzas. You can expect from such a good and pricey pizzeria that they handle meats well with heat. Never again for us. We were happy to pay for quality. But unfortunately that is no longer the case.

Personally, I think this pizzeria is one of the best in this area. This time the food was exceptionally tasty and delicious. (Reserve in advance...it can be very busy). Reservations can be made via their website or via WhatsApp. Open from Wednesday 5 pm. It is advisable to make a reservation so that you are sure you will get a place. Pizzeria is nicely decorated in Italian style, small bar where you can have something to eat, toilets fresh, clean and tidy. Employees polite and thoughtful about what you can order 😀... menu is too extensive in my opinion, around 90 different pizza dishes... my recommendation is to visit this pizza restaurant and judge for yourself. Inside you can go to an outdoor area where you are allowed to smoke 😀. The outdoor area looked messy and unkempt, but romantic with grape vines and sculptures. (Could use a makeover) 😉

Calling 3 Sundays in a row does not answer

They do not answer the phone for reservations. They do not read WhatsApp messages. Bad thing.

Superslecht bereikbaar, telefoon wordt gewoon niet opgenomen als het waarschijnlijk te druk wordt.Dus reserveren is een uitdaging. Pizza's zijn lekker, helaas kunnen ze de drukte van een klein stadje als Bolsward nog niet eens aan.

Had two pizzas delivered. Wrong received and called. They offered a refund or re-delivery. Delivery came quickly and they were very polite! And the pizzas were delicious! We will definitely order here again!

Very tasty pizzas with a thin base.

We were on a bike ride and ended up with an empty battery earlier than expected due to a headwind. After asking, it was immediately okay to charge the battery. We had a delicious meal there and afterwards we quickly got to our B&B. Thanks!

The choice is huge. But, gosh, you're making it difficult for yourself🤣🤣🤣 We had a choice of 85 pizzas 😱 There was plenty of toppings on it. I had a Hawaiian pizza It was delicious!!!!

We had two pizzas delivered to the community campsite and it only took 20 minutes. Can not go faster! Very, very tasty. Thin floor, lavishly covered. We can definitely recommend this pizzeria!

A few years ago I ate at this pizzeria several times and was shocked at how extremely bad the food there had become. Pizza prosciutto with small amounts of ham on top, but pineapple, grated cheese only partially melted on the pizza, Gouda at best, but definitely not mozzarella or fior di latte, as a pizza should be. The salad that came with it was absolutely tasteless. Everything very cold, fresh from the fridge and almost no dressing. The drinks came in tiny cans at steep prices. After a bad experience on my last visit, I had stopped ordering wine as a precaution. That was our last visit.

Good pizzas at reasonable price. The only bit we found difficult was the mention which was in Dutch - fair enough - but had so much choice. Also fair enough!

De zeevruchten in de pasta waren ontzettend droog, en weinig tot geen saus in pasta. Waarschijnlijk te lang klaar gestaan ivm voorgerecht. Het positieve is dat de pasta niet in rekening werd gebracht. We hadden echter liever goed eten gehad🥲

Tonight we ate here again after years. Menu is really huge! For many people, there is something for everyone! I cannot tar management with the same brush. One is a bit more experienced than the other. However, I was very disappointed that no tap water was given with the wine, but simply mineral water for €2.30. In addition, the appetizer was served faster at the table next to us than at ours. (They had a huge plate with different snacks, we only had one soup) We had to wait a long time for our food, which quickly made us regret our starter. Pizzas were overbaked for too long, we could hardly get through them. The pasta was very tasty again! Compliments to the pasta chef A bit of a downer for us to come here again in years and it is a bit disappointing.

Waitress did not give a choice between ravioli and tortellini when ordering and then said that I had to add that. The pasta dishes include a basket of baguette and herb butter. We didn't get this right away. After raising hands several times to various clerks (in vain), I finally walked to the cash register to request the basket. The baguette was not heated and the herb butter was still hard when we received it. I also ate several dishes (pastas and pizzas) and I found everything very mediocre. The desserts were tasty 😋

September 11, 2021, we had to wait a very long time. First on the menu, then on the food. There was a lot of noise inside. There was plenty of service going around but there was little action. And for these prices?! Too bad, it really used to be better.

Tasty pizzas, fast and friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere. House wine good (dry white). A little too much cheese on the pizza for our taste. Very extensive menu choice.

The perfect place to enjoy an excellent pizza or one of the dishes offered by the kitchen. My favorite place to eat a good "Italian" pizza. The staff is kind, attentive and thoughtful. The room is very welcoming and clean! Absolutely worth trying!!!

De ontvangst en bediening was attent en allervriendelijkst. We hebben eerst een aperitief genomen en tijdens het aperitief de dinerkaart doorgenomen. Tijdens het aperitief hebben wij een keuze gemaakt van voor een pizza en dat doorgegeven aan het bedienend personeel. De pizza's die ter plaatse worden bereid, zijn netjes opgemaakt, zeer goed afgebakken en smaakten uitstekend. Overigens serveert dit restaurant ook andere Italiaanse gerechten zoals b.v. pasta's e.d. De prijsstelling voor eten en drankjes zijn redelijk. Lekkere pizza, de Lasagne al forno was iets minder dan dat we gewend zijn, te gaar waardoor je een bite mist en t lijkt of je pap naar binnen werkt...de smaak was wel goed en de bediening zeer attent.

Met de boot in Bolsward aangekomen.. waar gaan we eten? Na drankje bij blend, toch besloten om voor Italiaans te gaan. Daar aangekomen.. tent helemaal vol. Gelukkig een plekje aan de bar. Goed geplaatst door Sarina, die ons de rest Vd avond een geweldige warme en persoonlijke service heeft gegeven. Leuke vaste stamgasten ontmoet.. die al jaren ontzettend tevreden waren en in Sneek wonen(zegt ook iets) 1 van de beste lasagnes in tijden gehad. Helaas was de eigenaar net Vd werkvloer verdwenen, gelukkig mochten we een fles van de heerlijke simoncello kopen, dank daarvoor. Ontzettend lekker en met liefde bereidt. Ook blij werden we van het achterterras, druivenranken overkoepelen het terras… alsof je in Italië bent… Wrs heeft de eigenaar dat zo ook bedoeld. Kortom een geweldige Italiaanse avond in Bolsward bij pontevecchio. We komen snel terug.

Heel mooi ingericht restaurant. Goede bediening, uitgebreide menukaart, en uiteraard, zeer verfijnde smaak van de gerechten.

Ok pizzaer. Rigtig god smag og bund. Dog for meget fyld - særlig ost. En del ventetid på trods af mange søde kvindelige tjenere. Virkede som om, der manglede en overtjener med overblik. Intet vinkort = du finder selv din vin på restaurantens vibhylder👍

Beste en lekkerste pizza!! Heerlijke bodem, niet te veel saus, ontzettende lekkere kaas. Echt petje af voor de kwaliteit van de pizza's. Was echt mega lekker

We komen hier al jaren en het is altijd goed! Één van de beste pizzeria’s in Noord-Nederland. De prijs is ms iets hoger dan elders maar de kwaliteit is dat ook.

We hadden gisteravond eerst een dame die heel onzeker ( of geen zin had) was, onverstaanbaar, onvriendelijk en we moesten na onze keuze een half uur wachten voor we weer werden geholpen. Wijntje was op toen ze pizza brachten, werd niet gevraagd of ik nog iets te drinken wou. De blonde dame die ons later hielp was vriendelijker en had veel plezier in haar werk. Werden later weer door eerste dame geholpen toen we uit gegeten waren.. Helaas geen vraag of het gesmaakt had of we nog iets na wouden. Dus daar zaten we lege tafel geen drinken niks meer, daardoor besloten ergens anders nog een ijsje te halen..

Gegeten op de drukke zaterdagavond. Zeer uitgebreide kaart (80 verschillende pizza's!) wat naar mijn inziens overbodig is. Er is teveel keuze en de kaart is daardoor onoverzichtelijk. De porties waren ruim en prima lekker., wat we over hadden mochten we meenemen. De bediening was erg vriendelijk en vlot.

2 Sterne aber auch nur da wir satt geworden sind. Für einen Italiener unmittelbar an der Küste in Friesland extrem von den Fischwaren enttäuscht. TK-Ware, die man sogar "schmeckte". Thunfisch trocken bekommen, das schafft selbst ein Laie nicht. Pommes in den Niederlanden ohne Geschmack hinzubekommen ist schon sträflich. 2 bestellte Essen im Abstand von 7 Minuten zu liefern obwohl wir die Ersten im Laden waren??? Am Nachbartisch kamen dann selbst die 3 Pizzen mit Abstand.... Salz und Pfeffer fehlten zudem auch am Tisch. Die Nudeln hingegen waren dagegen wohl gut.

Na vele bezoeken ook deze vakantie weer bij Ponte Vechio beland. We hadden gereserveerd via de whattsapp zoals op de website aangegeven was, helaas was deze reservering ondanks een bevestiging niet doorgekomen. Beiden een voorgerecht waarbij we gekozen hadden voor de carpaccio en een misto van voorgerechtjes. Deze misto bestond uit een enorm groot bord met meerdere vleeswaren, olijfjes en tomaat met mozzarella. Erg overdadig, wel lekker. Hierna hadden we aangegeven graag nog even te wachten voor we het hoofdgerecht kregen maar toch kwam dit al na 10 minuten. De mixed grill was prima. De varkenshaas proefde als geperst vlees met overdadig veel saus. Ik heb dit gerecht dan ook niet opgegeten. Personeel is hier goed mee omgegaan, drankje aangeboden en een fles water van de rekening afgehaald.

Goeie grote pizza! Prima bediening, alleen 1 dame stak er bovenuit, die liep veel meer dan de anderen.

Veel keus op de menukaart, vriendelijke personeel en goede service! Aanrader.

Lekker eten, maar de bediening besteedde geen aandacht aan ons en leek erg onervaren. Er werd bijvoorbeeld zomaar een ander stel naast ons geplaatst aan tafel, bestelling werd verkeerd geserveerd en we moesten zelf naar de bar om weer drinken te bestellen.

Heerlijke risotto, goed gevuld met zee vruchten. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Mooie, ruime gelegenheid, met enthousiaste bediening en prima gerechten.

Gezellige ambiance. En heerlijke pizza's. Vriendelijk personeel.

Supergezellig gegeten vanavond met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Maar als veganist kun je hier niet goed terecht. Dus mocht je veganist zijn raad ik je deze plaats niet aan. Vervolgens hebben ze lief meegedacht maar ik zou er pas weer gaan eten wanneer het aanbod verruimd word voor een breder publiek. Foto: pizza met tomaat, paprika, rucola en zelf meegebrachte veganistische kaas. (Deze kaas hebben zij dus niet in het restaurant en heb ik zelf meegenomen omdat ik dit al vermoedde). Met de veganistische kaas was de pizza prima.
