Enjoy eating there, hospitable and good food

Food was good, unfortunately got food poisoning from the satay sauce. When we called to report this we were cut off and told that this was absolutely not possible. Hi, we definitely called. This was in March. I had a man on the phone who was very nonchalant.

Haven't had such a bad meal in a long time. It starts with three women serving each customer individually, and then the next. That's how you get annoyed (even by the other customers who were there). Two fries, a "beerhap" (a Dutch snack), bratwurst (a Dutch sausage), bitterballen (a Dutch croquette), and a veal croquette. And we had to wait half an hour for them! The "beerhap" was fried way too long (charred onion and a hard meatball), as was the bratwurst, which was way too dark and crackled (costing €3.90 plus extra for the sauce). It went straight in the trash. The "raspatat" (a Dutch potato) was also way too dark. The regular fries were pretty good, the "bitterballen" were okay. They used to be very good, but now they're going downhill. A waste of money; there are much better places in the area. Last time for us.

Ordered fries with stew this week. It has no taste at all and will even ruin your fries. I don't understand how people can sell something like that, no one tastes it? Hence my 2 stars.

To my regret, I posted a not very good review at the wrong Meerpaal. I received a friendly message back thanking me for my mistake and apologies for the inconvenience.

First of all, the quality of the products is excellent. That can certainly be mentioned. But the delivery is dramatic. I placed my order on Friday at 4:00 PM with delivery time between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM. But no delivery between these times... Contacted by telephone at 5:45 PM. It was busy and still had 2 orders ahead of me. Finally at 6:15 PM the delivery person was at the door. Didn't say anything and pressed the order into our hands. When we commented that we regretted that the delivery had not been made within the time slot (our daughter had to go to sports, so we deliberately ordered in advance), his answer was: then you shouldn't have ordered, everyone ordered on Friday. If that is the premise of this company, I advise you to keep the words of the delivery person in mind if you order here and want it delivered. Or too many orders are accepted that can never be delivered in the time blocks. In any case, expectations were not met. I fully understand if it is a little later due to crowds, but 45 minutes later is not correct in my opinion.

Meat ball, way too much nutmeg. I threw away more than half the ball. Service and conviviality are good. And other snacks are fine.

Ordered food 4 weeks ago, unfortunately delivered to the wrong address, so it was no longer warm, called and was told, please indicate this if you order again and you will receive the order of the same value for free. Called today and yes, very nicely resolved and delivered, we will stay regular customer

Fries were fine, hot, nice and crispy and the right color, but why is there also curry on a fries war in addition to mayo, satay sauce and onion? The snack there, I don't know where it was bought, but it looked like dog food. Everything else took a very long time, both ordering and waiting for it to be ready.

We were there for the first time today. It was very pleasant, nice staff and very well priced. The food was great, we have nothing to complain about. Gladly again

I have never experienced such a bad snack bar. I'm not a reviewer at all, especially not for a fast food chain, but this was actually so bad that I wanted to make this known. Due to extreme hunger I didn't call and we ate it. We ordered a long frikadel, a cheese soufle, hamburger, fries and chickewings. The cheese soufle and frikadel were not yet cooked and not warm!! The frikadel seemed to have been defrosted, but had not been touched by the fryer. The cheese ouflle, fries and krikandel were permeated by runny sauce, the fries were limp, only the hamburger and the milkshakes were okay. I didn't know you could screw up such simple food so much. We will certainly not order from here again The owner has just contacted me and has come up with a very suitable solution, it is nice that you call and try to keep your quality high. I would have liked to delete the review given the solution you offered, but unfortunately not possible with Google.

I think you get less.. With the previous owner you got more for the same money. ..

If you come from the west, always mention that you want frikandel special with ketchup. That's really a thing from the west. The Oss shawarma roll is really not to be missed with the homemade garlic sauce. TOP TENT.

I am very dissatisfied. I ordered a frikandel, a croquette and fries with stew. I've been there for at least 2 days now and I still don't have my food. I won't go here again. I went for something to eat! Delicious!

What a bad thing!! Firstly, you have to wait a very long time if you want to order something because customers are helped one by one, they don't even take your order before the customer in front of you has his food. Absurd. Secondly, you have to pay for a large portion. potato slices 3.60 euros and you get about 30 pieces of slices... Thirdly, the customer friendliness of the past has completely disappeared... very unfortunate...

I grew up in this neighborhood and have been a customer for years, the quality has actually remained unchanged (good), I have been living in another neighborhood in Apeldoorn for some time, but I am happy to visit the mooring post for a delicious fries!!

Over the years we have visited almost every snack bar in Apeldoorn. However, De Meerpaal remains head and shoulders above every cafeteria. The quality is always great! Operation is correct and there is sufficient choice. You notice in everything here that quality comes first. Recommended!
