Plaza Food For All Ruurlo in Wijk 04 Ruurlo

We didn't feel very welcome, had to wait a veeeeery long time, and the food was mediocre. Not recommended. We had made a reservation earlier that afternoon, so they were expecting us. Table for four: 2 parents, 2 children, Saturday evening in August. When we arrived, there was a group of 15 sitting outside, and three small tables were occupied. Otherwise empty. Some regulars were sitting at the bar inside. After the table and chairs had been dried (it had rained earlier that afternoon), we didn't see anyone for quite a while. I eventually went inside myself to look for a menu and had to ask for one at another table. Still no one. It wasn't until about half an hour later that the lady came to take our order. When she returned a little later, it was to tell us that the food might take a while because of the large group. I asked if she could get some bread in the meantime, because, well... Two children, we had been sitting there for a long time... That was possible, but that took a long time too. We had been there since half past six. In the end, we got some bread with spreads at 8:00 PM (the only thing that was actually good), and the food didn't arrive until after 8:30 PM. That is an absurdly long wait, especially with two children aged 9 and 5. We had steak with some fries, potatoes, and vegetables, spareribs with fries, pork tenderloin with fries, and for the youngest, just some fries and vegetables. The spareribs were too spicy for my oldest daughter (there was nothing about that on the menu). We solved this ourselves by swapping for the pork tenderloin. But she actually found that much too tough (I thought so too). And then the youngest. I had ordered some fries and vegetables for her (two side dishes from the menu), and she got: an empty plate. She really felt left out. As if she was only allowed to eat some of our food. To top it all off, I received 3 melted chocolates when paying the bill. Admittedly, I told her myself that she didn't have to make an effort for the fourth one, but still. She had already put it down with the message: 3 is probably fine too. At half past nine we went back to the campsite. Tired and disappointed. And still €113 poorer. You'd better cycle past.

We ordered something twice. We waited over 2 hours for the food. When the food was delivered, it was cold and incomplete.

We sat here for a while after cycling a bit. Great service and very tasty food, definitely worth repeating.

We went for a walk today through Social Deal and had something to eat. The food and drinks were good. However, the service was nowhere to be found, and the young lady we found was extremely rude when my wife explained that we couldn't walk that far due to physical limitations. She just laughed at us. Therefore, we didn't come back to eat our pastries. There was also no one else on the terrace, so it wasn't very inviting. Definitely not recommended.
