I visited here again after a very long time. They have only made a few minor changes to the menu. For instance, I was able to order the sake flambé nigiri as a portion of 6 pieces. Highly recommended. Well-sauced fish. I also had a sushi roll with eel on the outside. That was disappointing. At other places, you get eel all over your roll. This time, there was only a piece of eel at the top of the roll. The salmon roll was fine; I thought I had a crunchy salmon roll with fried onions on top, but that wasn't the case—it was my ordering mistake. The service has also changed; the lady was very polite. I must honestly say that I am disappointed with the eel roll. I think I will come back after a while to see how it is. That is why I am not changing my rating yet. =========================== After the experience below, I visited again for a second chance. This time there was different staff at the counter taking the orders. I had to wait a long time for my order. But the sushi was tasty. The cream cheese on one of the sushi rolls was generously topped. I got diarrhea again a few hours later. Even though I had different sushi this time, it could still have been a hygiene issue (poor frying oil?) or that I've become allergic to something. ======== Get sushi here again. The sushi was good in terms of size, lots of garnish. I am not satisfied with this visit. But if I explain why, Google blocks my review. I got sick from the fish there. I think it has something to do with hygiene. I will come back soon for a second chance. For now, I'm taking off a star. ====== Just ordered sushi here. Walked into the shop at 5:00 PM. Had to wait 5 minutes before I could order because the person taking the order was busy with something else. My order was supposed to take 30 minutes to prepare. In the meantime, 4 customers came in and left again because they had to wait a long time. The sushi chef was sweating; he was putting together 3 more orders for me all by himself. Eventually I received the sushi. The sushi was fresh and tasted good. Points for improvement: - If you know there will be busy times, plan accordingly so that the waiting time per customer is shorter. Differentiate between online orders and in-store orders. - The nigiri sushi was a large ball of rice with a large piece of fish. I have been to Japan and ate sushi at a sushi emperor. Good sushi has a small ball of rice and a large piece of fish. - If you are a one-person team and want to try different types of sushi, you have to order a lot. Certain sushi comes in sets of 8.

At €40 per person for "all-you-can-eat," this felt like a calculated setup aimed squarely at tourists who don't know better. The rolls were absurdly fat with rice — piled on far beyond any normal ratio, clearly to fill you up fast so you stop ordering and they keep their margins. The tuna was warm rather than properly chilled, and the whole meal had a slimy, dirty texture that put me right off. Add to that a dining room that was dark, hot, and humid — genuinely uncomfortable to sit in for a whole meal — and the entire experience felt cheap and poorly run from start to finish. Service was fine, but it doesn't make up for food that felt off and a setup that seems designed to squeeze tourists for €40 a head. Spend your money literally anywhere else in Amsterdam.

Amazing take‑only sushi! Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Great portion sizes, quick pickup and lovely flavors. My new favorite place for sushi to go!

Especially for takeout, but very good sushi! Hardworking and friendly people.
