Had a delicious meal. Truly a top Italian restaurant with excellent dishes. Very relaxed atmosphere. I can recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good meal with honest and flavorful Italian wine. A gem for Almere.

For 25 years, despite multiple owners, consistent all that time. Simple but good pizzas and pastas. Fresh ingredients. Tiramisu is very good. Not expensive, nice portions. Always a tasty bread roll with herb butter on the house beforehand!! Service attentive and authentic. Update August 2026. 2 years later. Nothing has changed! (just like the 25 years before!) The delivery is worthless! The guy arrived way too early, so he drove off with the pizza himself. That's bad luck, pizza gone. What I find worst is the way they called; answering the phone very aggressively right away and not speaking politely. The food does taste good, though.

We ate here for the first time yesterday on the way back from a day out. The food was delicious! The four of us went for pasta instead of pizza and none of us regretted it. The teenagers finished even earlier than us and they enjoyed themselves. The staff were also top-notch. We will definitely be back; for us, this will be our go-to spot whenever we're craving Italian food.

The food was tasteless. The cheese was melted in the sauce. Noodles were drowned in the sauce. Meat was drowned in the tomato sauce. Not a single subtlety in flavor.

Fantastic Italian restaurant. For years, I've seen the regular staff when I come to pick up pizza (a bit too often). Always with a smile, always friendly, always quality. A top-notch restaurant that I hope will be around for many years to come, just as it has been for so many years. Nothing but praise for these guys!

The food at Portofino is truly delicious! Always good, plentiful, and hot. Unfortunately, the service for delivery and pickup leaves much to be desired. This is the third time we've had to wait a long time for our food, over two hours today. After the first wait, we called to ask where it was (after an hour and a half), and were told, "We're preparing it now, but we're understaffed and it's busy." That's understandable, but you shouldn't give a time estimate the first time you order if you know it won't work. I find the service subpar in this regard, and that would be a reason not to order delivery again. I would suggest changing this; either choose just the restaurant or both, but it should be feasible so it doesn't detract from the quality we're used to. Hopefully, we'll be able to have a nice meal later (in 5 minutes, according to the lady on the phone), because coming up with something to eat at 7:45 PM is a challenge with children.

Ordered three pizzas for the first time. It was supposed to take 45 minutes, but it took 1 hour and 15 minutes. The pizzas were limp, soft, lukewarm, and inedible. Never again.

It seems like more and more tables are being added. You're sitting right on top of each other. The food is also now more geared towards Dutch palates. The authentic Italian flavor has disappeared, though. It's not much better than your average Domino's.

We made a reservation for 7:00 PM. We had to wait until 7:15 PM, and then we were told we had to wait until 7:40 PM. The host made it our problem and was very rude. Afterward, we left and went to another restaurant. We didn't feel welcome. I definitely won't be back.

After our visit to Amsterdam today, we passed by this somewhat inconspicuous restaurant. It immediately appeals to you from the inside, and you're pleasantly surprised. The staff advises and pampers you with pleasant music. We were all very satisfied with our food selection and were able to fully enjoy the lovely evening. Our dessert selection also perfectly rounded off the evening. Once again, it proves that the smaller restaurants are probably the better ones. More love goes into them. Thank you for the lovely evening!!

Last time I was there was 18 years ago. And nothing has changed. Everything was just the same. I stepped right back into 2007. Cozy, noisy, and busy. The food was quite good. The drinks were good too. Just those sticky tables. Surely that's not necessary these days. Keep it up. Add another 18 years.

Had dinner tonight, food was fine but service was downright bad, long wait, no asking if you wanted something else to drink, took a wine jug and continued eating with empty glasses, eventually after being avoided for 30 minutes and not responding to contact (just constantly looking away and not responding to your question if you could order something else) we left without being able to eat a dessert, what should have been a nice evening was a big disappointment, very unfortunate

Yesterday I ordered pizzas at Portofino again and now I'm writing a review. The pizzas were perfect again, delicious base, very well topped and not greasy. Also very fast delivery by the restaurant itself. For me these are the best pizzas in Almere-Buiten!

What a hidden gem. Big compliment to the owner and his staff. The place was full, but everyone had everything under control. The food was there quickly and it was delicious!

We came in late to pick up a pasta and without thinking they were ready to make another dish for us. Very friendly and hospitable men who got to work right away and quickly flipped a delicious pasta. Pasta itself was very tasty and definitely worth repeating!

Porto Fino in Almere Buiten is no longer a discovery for me, but a familiar address. I have been here before, and every time the kitchen knows how to convince me again. It is the kind of place where you like to come back, precisely because you know what to expect: good food, friendly service and a warm atmosphere. The entrecote with gorgonzola sauce is now a personal favorite. The meat is always tender and tasty, and the sauce – creamy with that characteristic gorgonzola pit – makes it complete. The dish is perfectly balanced and always prepared with care. And as you can see in the photo: the plate went back to the kitchen almost empty. Except for a few leaves, everything was gone. There is no better compliment for the chef than that. Porto Fino proves that you don't have to look far for quality and taste. A must for everyone in Almere!

Service Top, atmosphere is also okay. I am just not really happy with the food, maybe the chef was having a bad day but I expect fresh homemade pasta at an Italian restaurant but what I had was just from a package. The tomato sauce that came with it was also very watery so that was a bit disappointing. The main course was a tenderloin, which was identical in size and thickness to the tenderloin that was on my wife's plate. You can never have two identical perfectly round tenderloin pieces so this also just comes from a factory in a vacuum package and then goes under a grill. It is tasty but will at most get a 6.5, I have been to many Italian restaurants that are certainly head and shoulders above this

Very nice with the service and the food, the limoncello, super tasty, the food, top nr77 scaloppina alla romana and No. 83 filetto accademia was all super tasty, tiramisu and ales were ordered and taken away and everything was eaten at home, super tender and delicious.
