Great "secret" spot. It's a bit hidden, but it's a lovely, quiet spot for a bite to eat and a drink.

Afgelopen zaterdag bij Het Achterom geweest voor een borrel tijdens ons verblijf in Apeldoorn. Wat een fantastisch mooie locatie! Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en de binnentuin is heerlijk om te zitten. Echt een verborgen parel middenin het centrum van Apeldoorn.

It's hard to find, but once you get there, you'll be surprised. A nice little courtyard with lots of greenery, friendly service, and delicious home-brewed beer.

Last Friday Sven celebrated his 18th birthday and rented the brown pub with Wesley and had Daniel Kookt take care of the catering and it was so nice and cozy, nice staff and Wesley himself who kept an eye on things, recommended for our group of 30 people to celebrate this here.

Een verborgen leuke locatie waar je wat kan drinken ,maar ik kan me voorstellen als ik in Apeldoorn woon mn verjaardag daar gaat vieren ,of met een stel vriendinnen lekker chillen

Fandt denne lille perle, ved et tilfælde,på en vandre tur rundt i byen. Den er virkelig gemt godt væk i en gyde. Men sikke dog et sted. En frodig gårdhave med lækre småretter og godt øl. De sødeste servitricer, sørger for super stemning. Perfekt til en lille fredelig pause.

What a nice surprise in the hustle and bustle of the shopping center! It is a good search but you are rewarded with an oasis of peace. Very friendly lady, delicious rosé on advice. We had a wonderful time recovering. What a nice place!!

We had a party here and everyone was very enthusiastic about the pleasant atmosphere of this location. The buffet was also very enthusiastically received. All products from first-class local suppliers. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. All these ingredients made it an unforgettable evening.

Heel knus gezellig en sfeervol, zowel binnen als buiten kun je er zitten en zelfs als er een feestje is kun je er tericht. Een kleine brouwinstallatie maakt het echt compleet waarme ze hun eigen gebrouwen bier kunnen aanbieden. Wij hebben nu gekozen voor een Achterom blond en Amber die beiden heel erg lekker en zacht van smaak zijn.

Cozy tasting room, tasty beers and friendly, pleasant service.

My friends and I planned to explore beautiful Apeldoorn. However, at the first alley we walked into we ended up in a cozy living room café with nice live music. We had the evening of our lives here and as 'westerners' (read Katwijkers) we were welcomed very hospitably. The staff were great, very social and friendly. The beer was delicious with some unique regional beers. The bitterballen were especially delicious. We will definitely come back! PS: Thank you for letting us join the staff drinks

I really think Het Achterom is a hidden gem. I already regularly came there for a drink with friends on Friday afternoons, and in 2023 I celebrated our thirtieth anniversary here with my partner! The atmosphere is great, the service excellent and the drinks super tasty. We will come here many more times.

What a great afternoon/evening we had here! I rented the “living room” for my 70th birthday with a drinks package and delicious snacks! Everything was perfectly taken care of by Timo. Beautiful Christmas decorations too, very attractive. I can recommend it to everyone to throw a fun party here. Everything was clearly explained in advance, careful consideration was given and a quote was made on the spot. What a gem. Saturday late afternoon. Legs hang outside. Lots of locale but you feel welcome. Tasty beers and tasty snacks. Especially your tortillas from the oven are well topped! If you are looking for a cozy drink café, look no further! Would love to come back

We enjoyed it so much at the Achterom! It's a bit hidden, but what a nice place for a party! The party was well organized with nice staff. And we have also received many compliments from our guests about the location and the service. Thanks again for everything and will definitely come back for a drink.

A bit hidden, but surprisingly fun and atmospheric. A wide range of beers including 2 own brews. A nice bite of wine and a nice conversation with some explanation from the owner. A nice conservatory and an even nicer garden to enjoy all the tasty snacks. A cocktail menu is also available.

Completely by chance, my girlfriend and I ended up here during a weekend in the Apeldoorn area, to relax after a long walk. The staff is incredibly hospitable, the service is more than excellent and the atmosphere is very relaxed and informal. We tasted some tasty regional beers here and had a bite to eat on their lovely terrace. Pure enjoyment. Bonus points for the woman (we suspect the owner) who enthusiastically gave us some tips on what to see in the area, and for the tip that was donated to the epilepsy fund! If we are in the area we will definitely come again!

Super cozy pub where Marjolein and Theo rule the roost. Time and time again you will be spoiled with delicious beers on tap. They also have delicious wine (the rose is really great) with matching snacks! And don't forget, they have an outside terrace! Where it is wonderful to stay when the sun shines. You are often welcomed by the two Border terriers Tom and Finn. In short, it's a lot of fun to come and have a drink!

Toppers For the 2022 end-of-year drinks, we had reserved a room at 'the back entrance' for a group of 30 (former) colleagues. We had already heard that it is a super cozy pub with a real living room feeling. Rarely have we been received so warmly and hospitably. The house beer is definitely recommended, but the snacks were also very tasty. A very good choice for a fun evening and we will definitely come back. Thank Theo for the beautiful evening!

Very much off the beaten path, although not that much. Just around the corner from the main drag, but very secluded with a nice garden and glass covered terrace. A hidden gem in the heart of the city of Apeldoorn. This brewery/bar has a very cool interior with a big outdoor garden great for summer drinks. Beer is great and home brewed, wine is also available. They offer small bites with fresh, local ingredients. Wonderful atmosphere for a date or hang out with friends. Service is excellent, highly recommended!
