My daughter and I were planning to have dinner together around 5 p.m. I asked the man behind the counter if that was possible. Yes, it was. He said he would prepare the food. But when I told him we wanted to share the meal—my daughter is 14, and I have a condition that limits my ability to eat—he suddenly said he didn't have time for us. What rude service. Very unfriendly.

Be surprised, Alfred prepares his dishes with passion. With its open kitchen and delicious fresh dishes, we had a delicious meal there and a pleasant lunch. This is on our list if we are ever in the area again.

The food is very tasty, but the starter was small. Main course very tasty and sufficient. But it is small and there is a lot of baking smell in the restaurant due to the open kitchen. Clothes can be washed straight away. If you don't mind that, then you should just eat here.

In het centrum van Apeldoorn is een klein restaurant gevestigd, gerund door Alfred, de chef, die middenin de zaak in een open keuken staat te koken. Ik kwam er voor de lunch. Werkelijk heerlijk gegeten. Ik had de uitzonderlijk goede gerookte zalm met brood en salade en een spiegelei. Ernstig lekker. Aangenaam bescheiden bediening, zeer prettig. Zeer aan te bevelen!

Had dinner at Alfred's last night and it was so cozy and fun and delicious! Nothing was too much, everything was possible for our nephew. Alfred is alone in the kitchen and everything is served on time and the service is also great! We will definitely come back!!

Even though Alfred does not serve breakfast, we had a delicious breakfast here. Everything fresh and tasty.

Nice evening dinner at Alfred's. Unfortunately the dishes were disappointing. The Tasting is a bit on the thin side with a tiny piece of pork belly (please make that a burned end). My veal ribeye was really not good. Lots of seaweed and even the fat had not softened during preparation. My partner's fish was absolutely delicious. The accompanying lettuce and fries were excellent! Unfortunately, no risk of recurrence

Delicious food for a great price!

Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen kamen wir her. Das Restaurant ist überschaubar, auch an dem Tag als wir da waren. Wenige Gäste, doch dauerte es lange, bis das Essen kam. Wir hatten Hamburger bestellt, aber es kam ein Fleischklops mit einer Scheibe Weißbrot. Jeder Amerikaner wäre komplett entsetzt gewesen. Wir sind keine Amerikaner, aber auch wir empfinden dies nicht als Hamburger. Die Bezeichnung ist irritierend und sollte geändert werden. Bedienung war freundlich.

Price-quality is excellent, as is the service. You will be helped in a friendly manner. The open kitchen is also nice, so you can see how everything is prepared with the right attention. Ontzettend lekker gegeten, en heerlijk vers. We komen met enige regelmaat bij Alfred. Zeer fijne gastheer en kok. Hij kookt bijna aan tafel in een compacte ruimte. Veel van zijn groente komen uit de moestuin, zijn vrouw maakt de taarten en soep. Eerlijk eten voor een normale prijs. Regelrechte aanrader!

I had lunch with a friend at Alfred Kookt. It actually had everything: a cozy (small) space, a friendly waitress, it smelled wonderfully like Alfred's cooking and the food was simply very good. And the prices are also very reasonable. I really walked out the door with a good feeling.

Had a great time, nothing was missing. I'm quite a sauce and butter person, so we could have had more, but we got it right away. Extra water was immediately poured. All in all, great experience. The food was good and the service very pleasant and attentive. See you soon!

We had a delicious meal before going to a theater performance. The menu is small, but really has something for everyone. The layout of the relatively small restaurant makes it feel like you are eating at Alfred's home, which works very well. Add to that the fact that the price-quality ratio is very good and you definitely have something to recommend.

Yesterday the 2 of us had dinner here. Now this is GOOD food and more than excellent service. And that too for a reasonable price. Fresh ingredients, not an abundance of additives. But everything just tasted good. It is a cozy restaurant. All tables are practically next to the open kitchen. So you can also see how and what Alfred works with :-) And if you have dietary requirements/ allergies (like my wife), you can discuss this almost directly with the chef. Where do you still find that?! My wife and I don't like too much fuss. And this restaurant is highly recommended. It's a bit of a nondescript restaurant. When it is light outside and you walk past the restaurant, it also seems "closed" at first glance. But we will definitely come back here. We are now also very curious about the lunch menu :-)

The food was incredibly delicious, it also smelled fantastic, our mouths were watering straight away! The tasting is highly recommended, and the main course comes with delicious potatoes, vegetables and fries. Good wine list and incredibly dedicated and friendly service. What an incredibly nice experience. Made a reservation with Alfred one day in advance with 14 people. I never thought it would work, so at the last minute, but Alfred just fixed it. 14 vegetarian menus from our own vegetable garden, made with care and love. The small space with open kitchen provides an intimate feeling, as if you were eating at someone's home. Very fun and definitely worth repeating. Alfred, we will be back next year!

This business makes my catering heart beat faster. Delicious food, all freshly prepared and you can taste it! The owner is a catering man 'Pur Sang', places the bottle of coke with the label towards you and also does everything else as it SHOULD be. Super affordable so I'm happy, going to see that!
