The food was decent, not a culinary masterpiece but fine. The staff was young but very enthusiastic. The atmosphere is cozy. I would definitely go here again.

We were looking forward to eating here, but what a disappointment: the food wasn't properly hot, a waitress dropped our food, no apology or anything, half a platter of food in front of me, and the rest was brought later. A friend's food was all mixed up, but that was apparently normal. No, we won't be going back here.

Very bad food, fries were rock hard! Meat: spareribs... splintered bone you ate, almost choked, never eating there again..

We ate at Brechtje's yesterday with 3 people. The starters and desserts are good, but all three of us ordered the recommended dish on the menu: the chicken curry and the shrimp curry. The rice seemed like it was from the day before and the dish was lukewarm; the recommended dish on the menu turned out to be more of a no-go, to be honest. We had ordered extra drinks, but we had to wait fifteen minutes for them, even though the place wasn't even half full.

The food was delicious and it was an experience. It's a beautiful place, nice service and great drinks. The concept of this restaurant is great. I recommend visiting ☺️

We waited 2hours for our main dishes and after we ordered our main dishes we ordered some croquetts and they blamed the croquetts for the delay of the main dish... But the dishes were pretty good the only problem is the delay of the dishes.

Bregje in Dordrecht is situated in a beautiful location with a nice terrace, and the interior was also very nicely decorated. The menu is a standard 3-course set menu priced at less than €30.00 per person. As a result, you get food that is not of the very highest quality, and the portions are somewhat smaller. I was here with my grandmother, among others, and for people like her, this is perfect, but the rest of us felt a bit shortchanged. The service was very slow; several tables were affected by this, with people turning around frequently to see if they could speak to someone. The servers, however, were friendly. Unfortunately, they forgot our coffee at the end. After waiting 25 minutes, we went to pay, only to be told that the coffee was being made, but by then it was unfortunately already too late.

Couldn't arrange anything regarding the allergy because it was busy, we hadn't reserved far enough in advance, and some other nonsensical arguments. Any half-decent chef doesn't need even 5 minutes to tell you what is or isn't possible. Eventually, we were able to order, but it went wrong twice. The waiter was very nice, really did his best, and spotted the mistakes immediately.

We reserved a table for our family at the last minute. We were looking for a quiet spot to eat with our autistic daughter and received excellent service. We had a delicious meal here. The spare ribs with garlic sauce were really tasty. The starter was also superb!

Great restaurant with a three-course set menu. Located right between the Grote Kerk and Nieuwe Haven, the restaurant has a lovely terrace, but the interior on the first floor has a nice, cozy atmosphere. The service is attentive and very friendly, and the wait for the food is reasonably normal. The three-course selection is varied, so there should be something for everyone! The food is high-quality, made with fresh ingredients, and absolutely delicious! Whenever we're in Dordrecht, we've been happily going here for years!

Friendly staff. Food was good! Great 3-course menu. For two people, we were given a table where one of us sat on the bench. This is uncomfortable to sit on as it wobbles. If someone shifts on the bench, everyone on the bench starts rocking. We did mention this when paying the bill. The biggest downside is the row of tables for two people. They are so close together that you can barely get up from the bench and walk between the tables to the toilet without knocking the drinks off the table next to you. As a result, you are also constantly half in the middle of your neighbors' conversation. Although the food was good, unfortunately, it is not worth repeating for me.

We went out for dinner with four people on Thursday evening. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and escorted to our table. The decor is atmospheric and authentic, and the lively atmosphere created a pleasant vibe. The food was good, although we were told twice that a dish we had ordered was no longer available. As a result, we had to adjust our choices, which was a shame. Once the food was served, it tasted excellent. In the end, we had a delicious meal and it was a pleasant evening.

We went for lunch on the terrace at Bregje. Ordering drinks was super fast, but it took a very long time for them to arrive. After we asked 30 minutes if they were still coming, the waitress went to check again. The beer was lukewarm and not cold, and the soft drinks were flat. Ordering food also took a very long time because only one waitress takes the orders; it takes a very long time, especially when she starts clearing the tables. The food was lukewarm, especially the croquette, and the soup was practically cold. All in all, we don't think it's worth the money.

Fine, but nothing special. Perhaps it wasn't quite the right weekend (Dordt in Stoom), which made it a bit busier. The service wasn't very quick, and it also seemed a bit off-key at times. The food was fine, just what you would expect; good portions, just enough.

Machine cappuccino (not tasty) watery - Ice Tea tasteless (mixed with water) - have a cola next time - Nojito delicious - at night salty and carpaccio not really great - though a nice spot to sit

I highly recommend it. Super fast service. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Good value for money. Very friendly staff. Pleasant setting. One small drawback: the main course is a bit small, but I'm a big eater. I left feeling a little hungry.

Actually nothing to add, but I will anyway. The food was delicious, orders came through quickly after ordering, several rounds of drinks, and they weren't pushy with questions. Young waitstaff, but that was a pleasant surprise and everything ran smoothly. Quiet background music, to my taste, but that will be different for everyone. On the upper floor, but the stairs were no problem. Paid parking was no problem, used the app. The price-quality ratio was fine. Choices via the menu, something for everyone.

It is located in the same building as La Cubanita. Reservations are necessary, otherwise it is often full due to the low prices. Both the service and the quality of the food are rather substandard on weekends, but for those who are not picky and mainly want to eat cheaply, it is a fine place. You shouldn't be in a rush, because we had to wait almost an hour for our main course (satay), which was completely overcooked and a bit tough. The restaurant is, however, very atmospherically decorated.

If you want to go to an expensive snack bar and expect service from inexperienced juniors, then this is the place to be.

We ate at Restaurant Bregje in Dordrecht today, but unfortunately, it was a rather disappointing experience. Upon entering, we had already been waiting for quite some time before anyone even noticed us. After that, we were given a table and the menu, but it took well over 20 minutes before we could place our order. That basically set the tone for the rest of the evening right away. What stood out most: there was plenty of staff walking around (about 6 people for about 12 tables), but despite that, the service was extremely slow and disorganized. Staff members were frequently standing around chatting with each other or loitering, while we – and other guests as well – were visibly trying to get attention to order something. The low point was that the person who looked like the manager/owner was sitting at the bar, wearing headphones and watching TikTok videos, while the place was clearly out of control. That gave a rather uninterested and unprofessional impression. The starter arrived quickly, but without drinks. After reporting this, it was resolved, but then the same problem kept repeating itself: long wait times to order, food arriving before drinks, and having to ask multiple times before anything was brought. Because ordering was so difficult, we ordered dessert, coffee, 2 shots of amaretto, and the bill all at once with the main course. Even that went wrong: an error on the bill (2x coffee specialty instead of amaretto), then the wrong drinks were served, followed by an argument because they thought we had already paid (which wasn't the case). Eventually, everything was put right, but the feeling remained: this was completely out of control. Unfortunately, the food itself was also very mediocre. Nothing really stood out, except for the spring rolls, which *were* tasty. All in all: poor service, poor organization, and mediocre food. With so much staff present, this simply shouldn't happen. A shame, because this could have been a fun evening. The lady who served the food helped us very well, by the way!! Compliments to her.

We went to Bregje Dordrecht on April 7th. The atmosphere is good. The service is friendly. The food is good. The only annoying thing is that you have to wait a long time for the food. We arrived at 5:30 PM and didn't get our starter until 6:30 PM. The main course also didn't arrive until after 45 minutes. The dessert arrived within 10 minutes of the dirty laundry being picked up. All in all, it was nice to have been there once.

We had a great meal on Valentine's Day, with quick service. Tables were a bit close together. The acoustics weren't great. Our waiter kept asking, "Can I just stop by?" but unfortunately, he also brought a strong smell of sweat with him.

We walked in at 5 p.m. yesterday, and despite it being incredibly busy, they made us a spot. The staff were incredibly friendly. Our youngest barely eats, but they went above and beyond to make it enjoyable for her, including some fries just for her. The food was truly excellent, and despite it being incredibly busy, the staff were very friendly and took their time! A fantastic experience! We were there as a couple with two children aged 6 and 7.

A Christmas brunch... What a disgrace. A platter with meat, fish, or vegetarian. So, for the vegetarian, it's a roll with cold goat cheese, nothing extra flavorful. The cheese croquette was good. It was just an egg roll with unmelted cheese and mustard on the outside from another plate, a dry muffin (I mentioned it, but it was supposed to be that way), and a mini croissant. For the meat, it was a roll with very light carpaccio. Another roll with cold egg and bacon and a slice of plastic cheese. Not even warm. A bun with a mini croquette and a generous dollop of mustard (something I don't like). It also felt like our table had been placed right next to another table, very cozy. Except they regularly forgot about us. Like forgetting our drinks at the beginning. After asking twice, we finally got them. The coffee wasn't good, and the chocolate milk was a cheap carton of store-brand milk that had been microwaved. For 25 per person, it was a pricey affair without any Christmas spirit. The staff were busy with??? Because the place wasn't even half full.

All our food was served lukewarm/cold. The cheese on the burger was cold/hard, and the meat itself was still red inside. The vegetables with the salmon were burnt, and the salmon sauce was also cold. The spareribs were also cold. We eventually reported it to the staff, and they gave us one drink off the bill. With cold, unpalatable food like this, I would have expected at least a bigger discount or, for example, a free dessert. All in all, I won't be returning.

My boyfriend took me out for Christmas brunch at Bregje Dordrecht. The brunch platter was disappointing; they basically just put a plate of food in front of us. You could choose between meat, fish, or vegetarian, and it wasn't that special. I also felt like we were placed at a table in between and were very close to other guests. Drinks were forgotten or arrived late. There were plenty of staff, and the restaurant wasn't even full. I made a comment about the dry chocolate muffin, but according to the server, that's often the case with muffins. And then she walked away. It's because the company was good, I won't be going back.

Sunday, December 14th, I went with friends. The starter arrived after an hour. The main course arrived another 45 minutes later. Since we had another appointment, we didn't get around to dessert.

We usually get excellent service here, but you just shouldn't go on busy weekends. They're clearly not trained for this. After our starter, we waited 50 minutes for the main course, which included dry pork tenderloin, and when those plates were cleared, we waited another 20 minutes for the desserts, which, as you can see in the photo, were served half-melted. We love going to Bregje and will definitely continue to do so. The staff was, once again, incredibly friendly.

Yesterday odered varkenshaas. Meat was raw in a middle. When i showed it to the waiter he told me it's totally fine to eat raw pork so they cannot help me. Went home hungry...

We had to wait a long time for the food, in short, it was a drama

The starter (prawns) were really delicious, nothing to complain about. But the main course and dessert were particularly bad. The chicken satay was made with chicken thigh (which should be on the menu, by the way) with so much membrane and fat still on it that it was truly disgusting. If the vegetables were so black they looked like coals, you could joke that it was oven-baked carrot, but that still made it charred and inedible. The waitress came to ask if everything was to my liking. I replied with "no, it actually wasn't." She looked at me, said "okay," and walked away. Then someone else brought the dessert. When we paid, it wasn't a pleasant evening either, nothing more than the amount to be paid. No more Bregje Dordrecht for us!

The food was varied, arrived quickly, and was delicious. The friendly service arranged for us to take dessert home in a doggy bag, as we wouldn't have had time to attend a concert otherwise.

Good, affordable concept. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. I wasn't as impressed with the food, but maybe I'm a bit spoiled. The meat was very salty and dry; the kitchen should really taste the food they've just brought out, then they can make some adjustments. But that's the concept here: fast, smooth, and reasonable food. Unfortunately, I left my curry untouched; I couldn't eat it. The staff was friendly and gave me a round of drinks. I won't be eating here again, but for a large group or for those on a budget, this is a great place to enjoy a meal.

We were here on Monday. It wasn't busy. We had a pleasant evening; the place is cozy. The service was good, the ladies were quick and friendly, nothing to complain about. The food was delicious and the portions were well-balanced; it's definitely value for money. The street food platter is varied and delicious. The cheese platter was small but delicious, and the crispy "kletszenbrood" (bread with it) was great! I'll definitely try it at home.

The price-quality ratio is okay (don't expect super quality). The atmosphere is pleasant. It was probably a staff shortage, which meant we had to wait a long time for every round and didn't get any drinks.

Then you order a street food platter because it's advertised so nicely, and then you get a meager, tasteless platter... The service could be a bit more attentive and come to your table more often. Also, to take away empty glasses and bottles, for example, by the end of the evening the whole table was still full of glasses from our first round of drinks... the liquor 43 cocktail in it was more like milk in a glass with crushed ice. We did report everything properly, and they took care of it. But unfortunately, we won't be returning.

The food is terrible. Definitely don't order the tenderloin skewer. It's absolutely impossible to chew. The service is a complete kindergarten class. Finally, I was asked, "If you don't like the job, why are you here?" A big fail.

The food was fine. However, one of our guests has a lactose intolerance. We mentioned this when we booked and upon arrival, but they were reluctant to accommodate. There weren't many options for them. The waitress did her best, as she was clearly upset. Kudos to her, but this is definitely an area for improvement, Bregje!

The food was good again, but the service was getting worse and worse. After half an hour, we had our starter, but we still hadn't had our drinks. Fries weren't included, so we had to get them ourselves. They rarely come by to ask if we'd like another drink.

Today (July 23rd) I went to Bregje with my mother; she'd never been here before. The service was friendly and they regularly checked on our tables to make sure everything was to our liking. I had a green curry, and they forgot the sauce, but that was quickly resolved. As we were walking downstairs to go home, my mother was already talking about wanting to eat here more often. P.S. I definitely recommend a side salad with the main course. It gives you a few more vegetables.

It had been a while since we had eaten there, for tonight we had invited people…. Too bad it was disappointing for us. It took a long time before we had something to drink, the second round was forgotten. The starter was good, the main course cold, just stone cold. It was neatly resolved, but still…. Brechtje really needs to do something about quality control. For us this was the last time for now.

First time eating at bregje and it wasn't a very good evening. The food was really delicious but the service was really lacking. Had to wait a long time before we were helped when we got our table. We were only asked once for a drink and we had to wait a very long time for that. The dessert even came faster than our drinks. When it got quieter they started doing things that weren't so important like clearing empty tables instead of taking away drinks that had been on the bar for a long time. Would like to try bregje again because the food was good but then at a different location. This one didn't meet expectations which is a shame.

We were a group of 7 people. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time, especially for drinks.. while it was a quiet (warm) Friday evening. Questions we asked the staff, they had no answers to. Food was, for this vegetarian, very disappointing. Except for the dessert, which tasted great!

Food was good, nothing much to complain about. It was fresh and hot. But the staff is really below par. They took a long time to take an order, made rude comments and served the food separately so that half of the group had almost finished their food and we were still waiting for it.

Second time here. It was extremely disappointing this time! Friday evening, few tables occupied. Staff just standing around chatting at the bar. Far too slow pace! We had to ask for EVERYTHING ourselves. Whether we could finally order our drinks 20 minutes after entering, whether they wanted to clear our dirty glasses, whether they wanted to clear dirty plates that apparently were partly left behind. The dessert was just put in front of the children and we still had to order. Result: children finished & we still had to get our dessert. 😔 The food itself was very tasty! At the cash register it also went wrong. The children were counted as adults. Whether we wanted to pay 180 euros. In the end this was 108 euros. Quite a difference! I reported it at the cash register, shocked by the chaos. I got an apology and that they were understaffed. They could have worked much harder, then this would not have happened. Because it was not that busy!

Always good vibes at Bregje Dordrecht. Food is affordable and surprisingly tasty for the price you pay. The service is friendly and fast - you feel welcome from the moment you enter. The atmosphere is relaxed, the restaurant is neat and you can have a nice evening dining with friends or family here. Definitely recommended if you want a cozy evening without any hassle.

Delicious food and certainly for this price, really not expensive. Beautiful building with sufficient space between the tables. Drinks could have been asked for a bit more often, but when we approached the service ourselves we were helped quickly so that was also fine.

Bregje... a spacious place with many tables, we came in a bit early, so we had many seats to choose from. Nice coloring paper on the table for the little guy. There is an elevator available for the people who think there is not. It is wheelchair accessible. The food is pretty good, especially for the price comparison. I understood that the staff is pretty young still and have to learn a thing or two about service, attention and table care. We had some cutlery that was not properly cleaned... We were seated and took approximately 15 min to have drinks brought over, ten minutes after drinks to get the order sorted. In between courses, there was to wait as well, but it's understandable.

Eaten several times but this evening took the cake in terms of bad service Bread in advance, not served. Cancelled. After the starter it came anyway. Clearly cancelled again. After this there was another attempt with the question if we really didn't want it😓. Main course was served without side dishes. A lot of ambiguity about the drinks, coffee was water with a flavour. I reported this myself at the bar but the new 'glass' of coffee was again watery (and lukewarm) while my partner had good coffee. In the end, the extra costs for some chosen dishes were deducted from the bill and the coffee too. A point for improvement is certainly the communication of the service!!!! Top is the enthusiasm of the owner?, the speed of service (although it sometimes seemed a bit too fast) and nice building. To the owners of Bregje, Please do not respond with the problems being discussed internally. Nothing has changed in the past months. Apparently things can go well because there are also good reviews, but when things go wrong, they go really wrong.
