We passed by chance during a bike tour. Excellent food, the best ribs of my life!!! Super friendly staff and very honest in telling us that the portions, decidedly generous, were for two people. Highly recommended!!!!

A beautiful experience in Leerdam! Nice concept with shared dining. We chose the surprise menu. Nice varied starter and sea bass as main course. Great ambiance at Puur Ted. I am very satisfied with Puur Ted, delicious food here and a chef who makes everything himself. I myself have several allergies and have recently had nasty allergic reactions at other restaurants that did not take it seriously. I had several contacts with Ted himself and during a restaurant visit he went over the dishes with me and made adjustments where necessary. I had no response at all, so I now go here as my regular address when we have something to celebrate.

Gisteren heerlijk gegeten bij PUUR Ted. Ik was jarig en ik werd uitgenodigd voor mijn verjaardag door mijn man. Het eten is er eerlijk en puur en bovenal bepaald je zelf de porties door het delen van de gerechten. Wij zijn niet dol op extra gerechten zoals aardappel en frites. Deze kun je dus weglaten. De bediening is ontzetten vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik had een geweldige avond en als kers op de taart werd ik door eigenaar Ted getrakteerd op enorme bos bloemen.. Waar kom je dat nog tegen.. echt top! Ik ben er nog beduusd van en ik vertel het tegen iedereen.. wat een klasse .. We komen snel terug.. dus bij deze bedankt Puur Ted.

This restaurant in Leerdam was a total surprise for me. I only remember, from more than 15 years ago, a cafeteria. But this, Pure Ted, is a beautiful restaurant. The restaurant beckoned us in from the outside. This cosiness was immediately confirmed upon arrival. We were taken to our seat. Then it went from good to better and then to best. What wonderful food I had. Fantastic. A place for me to go back to. Bring new friends and let them enjoy it here too. Too bad Ted wasn't there himself, otherwise I could have immediately given him my compliments. Fortunately, the cook passes it on to Ted himself. 👊😁 Hopefully I'll run into Ted next time.

Geen puur ted meer voor mij. Was er nog nooit geweest en kreeg al gelijk een opmerking naar een vriend en mij dat als de klanten weg waren dat het geen kroeg hier was. Terwijl de persoon die dat zei (eigenaar denk ik) zelf vol aan het bier zat. Biertje opgedronken en ik hoef hier nooit meer te komen.

Ik heb afgelopen zondag mijn 70e bij Puur Ted gevierd. Hij heeft iedereen verrast met alle overheerlijke gerechtjes van het Walking Diner! Ook de speciale gerechten die hij gemaakt had voor de mensen met een speciaal dieet waren TOP! Ted en zijn hele team zijn GEWELDIG !!!!

Heerlijk gegeten, alles vers! Relaxte sfeer en hele vriendelijke bediening! Kok kwam aan tafel praatje maken, gezellige avond gehad!

We ate the delicious surprise menu, it was excellent, highly recommended in our opinion, chapeau for the chef, a big 10+ and the hostess Mariska, knows her job, a warm personality who knows her job. By chance we ended up at Puur Ted and how this turned out to be a culinary highlight in a hospitable, beautifully decorated restaurant, they will definitely see us again.

We hebben op mijn verjaardag het verrassingsmenu vis gegeten. Fantastische proeverij vooraf: op 1 bord verschillende smaaksensaties van vis! Mooi opgediend en een leuke manier om met 2 personen van te genieten. Het hoofdgerecht was een mooi zacht gegaarde vis met heerlijke aardappelgarnituur en groenten. En als klap op de vuurpijl ontving ik aan het einde van de avond een prachtig boeket bloemen voor mijn verjaardag. Wat een verrassing!!! Het personeel snapt wat de klant graag wil. Ze zijn ontzettende vriendelijk en zien je echt. Het lijkt wel alsof ze er alleen voor jou zijn, terwijl het hele restaurant vol zat. Ontzettend veel complimenten voor hen! Ik ga er gauw weer terug!

Today we had Christmas Day dinner at Puur Ted. We opted for the surprise menu. There really is something for everyone, meat, fish and vegetables. Everything fresh and tasty. Ended with a Christmas dessert. We had such a delicious meal, we will definitely be back!!

Ted is the boss in his kitchen and with conviction. The four of us had the surprise menu (40€) "to share", which consisted of a starter with 4 different tapas and a main menu of 2 types of meat and 1 grilled fish, in generous quantities. What should be highlighted are the many different sauces for the meat and especially the lukewarm red cabbage, which was prepared in a special but very tasty way. The choice of dessert was a crème brulée, which was not too sweet and unusually light and creamy. Not to be forgotten is the loving and friendly service. I assume the lady is Ted's partner, who accompanied us through our dinner competently and with humor. In short, this was, in terms of price/performance, our best dinner on a week-long trip through Holland. Thank you.

Heerlijk gegeten! Niet alleen het eten zelf, maar ook de beleving eromheen was echt fantastisch. Het is de prijs echt helemaal waard wat mij/ons betreft. Geen eten om zo even hap slik weg te doen, je moet echt even rustig genieten van dit culinaire eten.

Heerlijk gezellig gegeten met zijn tweeën op een zonnige avond. Wij hadden het Ted kookt menu en dit was een uitermate goede keuze, verschillende gerechten en smaken en een heerlijk vlees hoofdgerecht. Ik kan Puur Ted aanraden.

What a lovely experience in so many ways. We had an appointment in the area and thought that the other party had forgotten. So we decided to go to Ted’s for dinner. Just after ordering we heard that the appointment was indeed on. The staff here were so gracious. They took our food to the back till we were able to return and remade the friet when we got back. Everything tasted delicious. Delicate flavors and hearty. They really went above and beyond and we were so grateful for their effort.

Met een groep collega’s gegaan voor een Surprise menu! Wat lekker! Hartelijke service en leuke zaak! Terras was ook ruim al hebben we daar geen gebruik van gemaakt.
