The food was tasty, but the fries could be better, much better at McDonald's.

Ordered asparagus with fried salmon. The asparagus is boiled in water, which is a real shame because they lose their flavor that way and become too flat and watery. The salmon was also so dry because it was completely overcooked. For a dish that costs €29.50, that is really a bummer... Oh right, hollandaise sauce was supposed to come with it. So I had to look for it; on the plate there was a tiny little pot with a thick mush on it. You should be able to pour hollandaise sauce from a nice little sauce bowl. I spoke to several members of the staff hoping to perhaps still get some compensation, but unfortunately, they didn't get it. It's a shame that responsibility wasn't present.

Had a wonderful dinner with my love last night. We were both very impressed with the service, atmosphere, and the delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

A highly suitable venue for all kinds of events. Parties, weddings, celebrations, meetings, staff gatherings, etc. Extremely friendly, hospitable, and professional staff. Extensive menu and a huge selection of beers. Ample parking, and free of charge. Atmospheric decor. Het Raedthuys is therefore highly recommended for a few delightful hours of enjoyment. Reservations are recommended, as customers know their way here.

Great restaurant, delicious food

We had a delicious meal at Het Raedthuys in Hoogerheide. It is a nice establishment with a wide selection of drinks and a pleasant menu. The food was very tasty and, moreover, was served quickly. The service was friendly and there was sufficient staff present, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The price range is slightly higher, but in my opinion, that is well-proportioned to the quality. Definitely recommended!

Sadly, I fear our first visit was also our last. The bench I wanted to sit on was wet; someone left with dirty pants. Perhaps the restaurant wasn't aware of this, that's possible... I sat down at another table that still needed to be cleared. There was no attention paid to the customers because another abandoned table was cleared first. Our table was then cleared, not wiped clean. We then waited for over fifteen minutes, and because we couldn't order yet, even though the place wasn't even half full, we left. At no point did any of the staff say a word to us. We didn't feel welcome. This could be so much better!

It's a nice, cozy, and delicious restaurant with excellent service. Contrary to what the name suggests, it's unfortunately located in a new, modern building.

We had a quick lunch here on our way to Brugge. Omelettes were nicely made, two different styles. On top, it's a nice place with kind staff. We had 2 omelets, 1 croquet, 2 coffees and 2 soft drinks for 47 euros.

We come here often and have had a delicious meal and drinks with a group of seven. We ordered drinks, appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The service was great and the food was excellent. But when I asked for a glass of water for my daughter, the answer was: "No, not allowed. It's policy." Bizarre. This is the last time we'll eat here, as far as I'm concerned. It's a shame.

I stopped for lunch during my workday, and I order a 12-hour snack pretty much everywhere I'm on the road. It's become my benchmark. But this one... is definitely my number one. Everything was super fresh, beautifully presented, and exactly the combination you'd hope for: a perfect soup, delicious luxury sandwiches, and simply prepared with genuine care. You can taste the effort put into it. The service was friendly and fast, just what you need when you're on the go but still want something tasty and filling. It felt like a little break in the day, and I left feeling re-energized. Highly recommended. It's not exactly central Netherlands, but if you're in the area: do it!

Plenty of choice in meat portion sizes. Nice view of the industrial chimney. However, the music was a bit loud, and we found it odd that you had to ask for a wet wipe separately with the spare ribs. The sole was also good, despite the focus on meat.

Delicious food in a realexte location.

A hardworking couple owns this recently renovated establishment. Their passion radiates from the rest of the staff, who always strive to ensure a great experience every time. Sometimes you can sit there for hours, chatting away, and other times, it's just a quick lunch before moving on. Despite it always being quite busy, you're served quickly and there's always room. It's a great place, even for large groups, but reservations are recommended.

Recently, during a motorcycle ride, I stopped in my hometown for a well-deserved pit stop. The atmosphere was great, I enjoyed looking around to see if I could spot any old acquaintances, and of course, a delicious slice of cake. What more could you ask for? Maybe a second slice... but hey, that's just another reason to come back. 😉

Most grumpy staff ever seen of all the restaurants I've been to. Plates were barely empty and were already being taken from the table - I was still eating from the bowl of fries and it was taken away. Every time we ordered drinks - we had to address a waitress - so it wasn't offered ourselves. We were simply ignored when making eye contact. First time and unfortunately never again after this! There was a bottle cap in my daughter's drink - when we addressed this we were asked - if it was already in there? (No, we put it in ourselves?). Then barely a sincere apology. And then no form of compensation. (Even if it was offering a new glass of drink or at least a sincere apology) This goes against my principles... but anyway, I think you have a nice difference at the cash register tonight! If I had behaved honestly, I would have been honest too. Too bad about the first experience with you! See you never!

Ordered gyros chicken on recommendation, well the chicken was fried twice. So hard and dry. Damaged my gums. Also indicated this, plate went back to kitchen full. But still paid 23. I won't go there anymore.

Delicious food always enjoyable at niels

Wij hebben er vanmiddag gegeten op het terras. Ik heb nog nooit zo’n slechte wiener schnitzel op mijn bord gehad heb echt mijn best gedaan om hem op te eten maar heb het moeten opgeven. Hij was taai en droog er zat maar aan 1 kant paneermeel totaal smaakloos. Eerste keer en de laatste keer voor mij 🤮

This year we made it easy for Easter and enjoyed the Easter brunch. There was a lot of choice. All tasty. The top layer of the salmon sandwich was somewhat dried out, which suggests that it had been sitting for a while, which is understandable given the many guests who use it. Everything was neatly served at the table, and there were also poffertjes for the children. They also received a coloring page and colors, but these needed some sharpening to be able to color properly. Enjoyed it thoroughly. And again very fast and friendly service.

Definitely recommended. Tasty snacks and dishes. Prices very democratic. Extremely friendly service.

Yesterday we had a delicious meal at the renovated Raedthuys. Definitely worth it!

We ended up here by chance after a bike ride. But we certainly didn't regret it. It is a beautiful business with highly motivated staff. People regularly ask if everything is to your liking (and if not, something is actually being done, as we saw at the table next to us). The food arrived quickly and it was tasty, just as it should be. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come and enjoy ourselves here again!

I would like to express my compliments about this fantastic brasserie. The interior was hip and inviting, the table arrangement was neat and tidy, the atmosphere very cozy and relaxed. Perfect for both large and small groups, for a pleasant lunch, a drink or an evening out, with a large cozy terrace for outside, to look out over the square when the weather is nice. Very wide choice of both classics and original options on the menu. Smooth and very fast service. The food was excellently prepared and beautifully presented. Large portions for good prices. We can definitely recommend the noon hour. The service was very friendly, patient and attentive. In short, an absolute must for anyone who likes good food and a good ambiance.

A Culinary Experience at Het Raedthuys. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Het Raedthuys, and it was a true culinary experience. From the start everything was perfect: the bread was fresh and crispy, a delicious start to the evening. The fish was excellently prepared, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The vegetables were seasoned just right and the sauce topped it all off with a wonderful balance of flavors. Every bite was a delight. I can highly recommend Het Raedthuys to anyone looking for a refined dining experience. Everything was absolutely delicious!

It looked like a really nice place and the inside was neat, atmosphere was nice and romantic. The food was bad. I wish I could say it differently, but soggy schitzel and overcooked cod don't desere any accolades, specially if you look at the pricing! The service was varying; from nice people that are a little inexperienced to a more experienced person that was obviously not interested, and spent quite some time on her phone. A little more general attention from the staff would make sure people don't have to walk over to the bar to get drinks... In short: a nice place with slightly below average food that does not justify the high prices.

Gereserveerd op valentijnsavond (verjaardag dochter) Mensen waren supervriendelijk ook al kwamen we veel later aan dan eerst afgesproken, ze maakten hiervan geen punt. (Wel verwittigt) We hebben heel lekker gegeten, diner was verfijnt en de smaken zaken goed. Iedereen tevreden vh gezin. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Excellent food with good atmosphere.

They served me pork tenderloin mostly raw. Then they simply re-fired that same piece. I know that sustainability is important. But if you serve something raw yourself. I think it's logical that you normally get a new piece.

We have now eaten here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. I'm sorry that I personally don't get the Wouw feeling here. The dining room has very poor acoustics, which does not help to create a pleasant atmosphere. The food at lunch was just okay, but the dinner was really of lower quality. I can recommend this place in good weather for a drink on the terrace, but for food there is something better to be found in the village.
