The food was good, but the service was terrible. We were a large group, including elderly people, and ordering via the tablet was a disaster. When we checked the order at the end, it turned out that sirloin had been ordered three times by mistake. This happened during the ordering process. It couldn't be changed, and we simply had to pay extra. Scandalous. On top of that, it was brought out when we had almost finished our other food. So it could easily have been cancelled. They will never see us there again!!!

We had a delicious meal with 5 people at this tapas restaurant! 😍 The atmosphere was cozy, the service was friendly, and there was plenty of choice of tasty tapas. Everything tasted good and we really enjoyed the evening. Definitely recommended for a nice meal with family or friends! We would love to come back again. ❤️🍷

What a wonderful evening we had at Ramblas Zeist. We were a party of 12 and felt incredibly welcome from the moment we entered. Lovely ambiance, authentic Spanish flavors, and staff that took care of everything perfectly. Thank you for the excellent care and the fantastic evening!

Sorry, but if I'm being completely honest, this was a bizarre disappointment. We were a group of 16, and I understand that presents challenges. But everything was a real letdown. First of all, a lot went wrong with the orders, meaning the bill was completely incorrect. When we mentioned this in a normal way, it was really not appreciated. The food arrived incredibly slowly. At one point, we had to wait 45 minutes because we had ordered a new course. Then the food arrived (but in half portions). The food itself wasn't amazing either. The tenderloin was tough. The prawns were quite hard. Desserts were really pricey and the quality was very disappointing. We had to pay extra per person for desserts, even though a waiter said beforehand that this was included. In the end, we spent €65 per person for mediocre quality. Sorry, but the price-quality ratio simply isn't up to par. Either the rating needs to go down significantly, or the price needs to be adjusted.

Super service and incredibly dog-friendly! What a lovely experience! We had a delicious meal here with a group of 5 people and our 2 dogs. The staff was incredibly friendly and the service was top-notch. Our four-legged friends were more than welcome, which is a real big plus for us. We will definitely be back here again!

We were politely informed that, unfortunately, there were no lamb chops. The service was mostly very friendly again; one lady seemed to be enjoying herself a little less and sometimes 'threw' the dishes on the table. But otherwise, everything was basically as usual. Good food, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended, still.

We have been coming here for years, but it is gradually getting worse. Prices are rising sharply, but quality is not improving accordingly. The music was way too loud; dishes that have been on the menu for years have not improved; the bread has changed, which is certainly not a positive development; the beer was lukewarm. The chicory leaf, normally one of our favorites, is far from what it once was. And the decline is also noticeable in the occupancy; it was quiet, very quiet, except for the music, which was so loud that conversation was impossible.

It is a shame that you cannot see how atmospheric it is inside from the front. The service is friendly and the dishes are tasty. And the bill afterwards was much more reasonable than we expected. Definitely recommended.

Food is super affordable. Coke is fine too. A 1-liter bottle of water is 12.95, that was a bit of a shock. Small menu. But good food.

The food was fine if you like it. Lots of chili sauce on all the appetizers (Calamari, patatas bravas). Not really Spanish, but otherwise tasty. Sangria was great! It's just a shame that even around 30 degrees, no table water is served with the other drinks we ordered. And that despite the fact that it is required by law. Otherwise, a beautiful restaurant, especially if you sit on the terrace at the back.

Various tasty small dishes, which you can also eat unlimited amounts of. Nice terrace at the back of the restaurant (I don't like the small terrace at the front, situated on the street). Friendly staff, highly recommended!

We were there last Friday around 8 o'clock, quite quiet in the restaurant. We had really lovely staff who regularly came to check on us to see if everything was okay; we were also given plenty of time to sit down first before having to decide everything immediately, so that was really nice. Once we started on the tapas, it was absolutely amazing. Personally, we find waiting 15 minutes between courses a bit long, but we completely understood it, especially since there is no set end time, which is very nice. The food itself was truly fantastic; think of spareribs that practically fall off the bone and were super tender, lamb chops that were perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the prawns were all very good too. There wasn't a single dish that disappointed; everything was of high quality. We also took the set menu with dessert, and I absolutely recommend it; dessert was the perfect ending to the meal. And the cocktail and sangria were fantastic too. All in all, 100% recommended for a visit, for the amazing food but also the super friendly staff.

We had a delicious meal!!! The people of Zeeland

A variety of tapas, including meat, fish, and vegetarian options. You order 2 tapas per person per round. There is no limit. The dishes are served quickly. The portions are small, allowing you to try many different varieties. If you have difficulty walking, please make a reservation in advance so that you can be seated in the downstairs restaurant area. The restrooms are accessible via a small staircase.

Had a delicious meal here last night, unlimited and without time pressure, highly recommended. Ordering was done via a tablet, and that worked perfectly. All dishes were well prepared, but the meat dishes were the highlight for me with their delicious grilled flavor. The value for money is really good. And the staff is very friendly.

Extremely long wait. First drink not served until half an hour later, sandwich 45 minutes after arrival. And first course an hour and 15 minutes after arrival. Hot tapas not served until 3 hours after arrival. Group of 15, not à la carte, but set tapas. You'd think that would speed things up because they know you're coming. Not so. I advise against it for groups.

Today's chef was Janos from "HANOS." Not a single dish was freshly made. It came straight out of the microwave, and you can taste it. Don't do it! The staff was friendly, though.

Went here with a big group of around 20 people. The dining room is very cozy with a beautiful starry roof and nice music. We got the surprise menu with 10 cold dishes, 8 warm dishes and dessert (and unlimited re-ordering). We could order the drinks through a tablet. The communication from some of the waitresses, however, was quite unclear. Allergies were almost overlooked, ordered dishes arrived incomplete in quantity, 5 euro wine was served as half a portion. When we adressed these points, we were greeted with a bad attitude and told that we were wrong by two of the waitresses. The others were however very kind. The food is pretty good and tasty, but the description in the tablet is quite vague (only spanish translation) and sometimes misses a picture of certain dishes.

We had dinner there two days ago. The food was delicious, with large portions. However, the photos often don't accurately reflect what you actually get. The service was friendly and fast. We will definitely return if we're ever in the area. And the desserts were good too.

It's unbelievable that an uninspired restaurant like this still exists. All the meat tastes the same and is overcooked and tough. The tapas concept seems appealing, but there's a long wait between dishes, meaning if people are also eating à la carte, they'll be finished long before anyone else is eating tapas. The service is friendly, but you have to take your drinks to the right person, as they're simply served from one side, with the intention of passing them on. All in all, not worth it.

Very tasty and not expensive at all!

What a cozy place! We had lovely seats upstairs on the benches. You can order two dishes per person per round, which was great because it meant you didn't eat too much at once. There were a variety of dishes, but unfortunately, some were out of stock. We treated ourselves to a delicious, large cocktail and then enjoyed a fantastic dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Kudos to the staff for their hospitality! We'd love to come back again, and we're hoping for a more extensive menu.

We ate here tonight using a social deal. You can park across the street in the parking garage (maximum daily rate of €6). It wasn't busy on a weekday, but we had made a reservation and were able to choose a table of our choice. It's not very big, but it has a pleasant atmosphere. There's also a small terrace at the back of the building. The staff gave us a brief explanation of how to order with the iPad at the table. Two tapas dishes per person. It's very easy to use with photos. Cold and hot tapas, fish, meat, and vegetarian. Something for everyone. The dishes are prepared quickly and are delicious. The grilled steak and pork tenderloin were delicious. We dined for 2.5 hours and had a wonderful evening.

Especially the prawns in garlic oil and the Iberico ribs were top favourites at the table. The wine list is also surprisingly good; there is plenty of choice and the staff is happy to give suitable advice. The service was friendly, attentive and not pushy. You really feel welcome here. In short: Ramblas Zeist is absolutely recommended for a relaxing evening out with delicious dishes and good service. We will definitely be back!

Food was serious, meat completely cooked to pieces. We had tenderloin, lamb chops and pork tenderloin. All three the same taste. The same dominant herbs everywhere. The photo of the empty plate was of the tenderloin. The cold dishes were also made and presented without love. The wine selection was huge! Not so, there was 1 wine, which was not bad by the way. The service was busy with one of their phones. It was very funny considering the laughter. The atmosphere on Sunday is visible in the photo. Faded glory.

Ate here and it is indeed not high-quality cuisine, the meat is excellent but the rest is really tasteless, has nothing to do with Spanish in terms of flavors, prawns really don't taste like anything, patata 'brava with andalous sauce that is really not possible and I can go on like this, something can really be done about this restaurant, but then a different kitchen brigade has to be brought in and various tapas disappear from the menu, make real Spanish tapas with the taste of Spain and your restaurant is often full!!! By the way, the service is very friendly!!!

The spare ribs are not the cheapest, but certainly the best I have had so far, and I am critical.

Ate here for my father's birthday. A good table in the middle of the restaurant, ordering is done via a well-functioning app that is quite fast. Appetizer in the form of bread that was warm and crispy. At Ramblas it's a bit what you see is what you get. Don't expect high-quality culinary delights because the price isn't worth it either. It is very clear that good money has to be made on the drinks. 5.50 euros worth of beer per bottle and a cappuccino for 3.50. Well, think what you want to think of it. Service is quite nice, but don't expect an exciting click, it's pick-up and take-out. Food 3/5 Atmosphere 3/5 Operation 3/5 Average.

Just delicious again and it remains a relaxed meal, you have plenty of time to catch up and if everything that passes by is tasty, that is also nice.

Unfortunately, after taking over the restaurant, the quality has gone down. At first it was really tasty and lots of different tapas. Now unfortunately less so, it is still okay but no longer the wow factor.

Top restaurant good food Pleasant evening

Ever been to heaven? Me either, but I think it's where this place came from. I've tried takeout from Ramblas before. The tapas menu deal. Leftovers for days, good food. The coleslaw is a highlight for me in particular. After seeing the gorgeous mosaic decor in photos, I thought it would be nice to check it out in person and have more options. Turns out, it was way more than just nice, and not only because of the great service--never too attentive, never too lax, willing to help me in English if I hadn't been stubborn about practicing my Dutch--or the convenient tablet menus. You get a portion of bread in a little bag with your takeout. It's okay when delivered. I expected no change in-restaurant. There was a tremendous change. The delicious, perfectly balanced garlic aioli that I loved was suddenly complemented by hot, fresh, overwhelmingly crunchy and crusty bread the likes of which I've never tasted. First thing I bit into was a nice carne estofada, with a small amount of beans, corn, peppers, and onion. The mingled flavors and tender stewed meat were so good that I ended up ordering a second portion instead of experimenting more. I commented, "if I had a billion dollars, I would be bribing the kitchen to teach me their secrets." I think I've determined that I'm somehow just not a fan of patatas bravas in any form, but the accompanying sauce was great, and their onion rings were robust and crunchy. Their roasted bread with sheep cheese and fig compote, or olive tapenade; both very nice. (Not as nice as that aioli and crusty bread combo, but "not as nice as perfection" is hardly an insult.) Their salmon was perfectly cooked, no bones, draped in a savory brown sauce with flecks of pepper and bright lime wedges. Previously, I always missed lemon in any salmon dish that lacked it, but not this time. Nor did I expect to love instead of like the Sangria, but wow! It was neither too sweet nor too dry, it was not too fruity nor too wine-heavy, it was light and fresh. Perfection. They have a handle on the balance of flavors here which impressed me. Be warned/allured, however; the Creme Catalana is not quite Creme Brulee as you might assume. It had a strong flavor of cinnamon somehow, so if you like cinnamon, that's the dessert for you. I think on a repeat visit, I'd like to try something else--but with the myriad delicious dinner options on onbeperkt (unlimited) tapas, I don't know if I will make it. I hardly managed this time. The only edge I'd give to Tapa Tapa is that I like their multiple menu options for takeout, and their bacon-wrapped dates also contain a very mild and delicious goat cheese. But Ramblas cooked theirs perfectly, which is something I've had trouble with at Tapa, either getting them too pale or too dark rather than nicely crunchy. Overall, I'd call Ramblas the best of this style of food I've had so far, and by a wide margin. This is about as good as food gets short of a Michelin star. I'm just a humble American struggling with her Dutch, but take that for what it's worth. I will return to Ramblas, and with as many Dutch friends as I have. Buen Provecho.

We are used to the restaurant on the Korenmarkt in Arnhem. This time we thought, we're going to Zeist. The mayonnaise was sour, the waiter came with the bucket to show that it was not out of date. The chicken legs smelled like sweaty feet and did not taste good. It just wasn't all that. Next time back to Arnhem!

Really delicious meal, no pressure with a time slot etc, nice sitting with kids and grandchildren for a few hours, this is definitely worth repeating, top business, and of course a great chef....

Ordered the surprise menu and was positively surprised with all the different flavors. Everything was prepared with care and served with a smile. It was a bit much, but for big eaters it might not be too bad. The hot tapas are all served at the same time, which is a bit of a shame. It has cooled down before you get to the last bowl. Better to divide in half or put small rechauds on the table. It was all very tasty and the staff was quick and friendly.

Nice restaurant, was quiet when we were there (Wednesday evening). Decoration suits a tapas restaurant. Food was of good quality, slightly larger portions than other Ramblas we have been to. Drinks were forgotten a few times after ordering, something sloppy. Have a nice evening.

I went here for dinner with a group. I think the quality of the food is very average, much of it is camouflaged with sauce but it is just bad. The iceberg lettuce under the carpaccio was brownish, it just wasn't the same. The service, on the other hand, is very good, super friendly, enthusiastic people. The furnishings are dated and appear to have been there for 30 years.
