RDM Kantine in Waalhaven-Eemhaven

Had our wedding party at the RDM Kantine, really enjoyed it. Great location with a free parking lot, good service and food.

Very nice presentation room with adjoining bar and standing tables. Nice staff. With good snacks. It was also very nice with the water taxi, which stops in front of the door every 15 minutes from Marconiplein

Great location for a quick cup of coffee

Delicious food, super friendly employees and a special ambiance. Recommended!

Just beautiful place in Rotterdam

Took way too long, bread was too thick, but a nice place. Orders are simply handed out and do not arrive at the same time. Had to ask a few times.

I have been eating here for several months, it was always busy and you had to wait a little longer. However, today I had to wait an hour, the food was burnt and I was told that the cook could no longer handle it. RDM Kantine, please hire good and multiple chefs and put more people in service. Because this is unacceptable!

Food was fine and a nice atmosphere, but rather slow service. They were nice, but between 3 sandwiches and fries it shouldn't take about 10 minutes per dish and then another fifteen minutes to wait for payment. Maybe someone was missing because they only had 2 people for the kitchen and service, but hey, they arrived at 12:30 and left just after 2:00 PM.

Not an attractive location. Cold building with the occasional mouse...

After an hour of waiting, the waiter came to ask what we had ordered, there was almost nothing in stock and we had to pay too much. Really not recommended!

Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time. Taking our order at the cash register took 15 minutes and we also had to wait at least 45 minutes for our order, which unfortunately also came in 3 parts for 5 people.

First we stood in a very long line before we could order. Then we were told that there was almost nothing in stock and after waiting an HOUR for a small croquette sandwich (for which we had also paid too much), the waiter came to ask what we had ordered again. Really not recommended!

High quality lunch. A "simple" cold cheese sandwich comes with a little lettuce, a little dressing and some vegetables. Well, the price is a bit on the high side, but you do get a very tasty lunch for it.

Food is good, but very high prices. The staff working there is very slow and does not listen to what you order. You have to continuously repeat what you say 3 times, while the orders are not too complicated with the small menu available. 9 times out of 10 they have too little stock and it takes an average of half an hour before you even have a sandwich.

Quite a nice lunch, nothing special, but also special surroundings. And quite affordable. So all in all worth 4 stars!

Dit is echt wel een beetje de lunch haute cuisine in deze omgeving. De broodjes en salades zijn echt van super hoge kwaliteit. Misschien wel wat aan de prijs maar daar krijg je wel kwaliteit voor terug. Hoe snel je hier geholpen wordt is echt zeer wisselend: als er een grote groep aan het eten is kan het soms best lang duren. Andere dagen wordt je juist vlot geholpen. Sfeer en ambiance in dit gebouw zijn ook super: echt een mooie locatie om te lunchen.

Leuke plek in de haven. Voor een lunch of trouwerij.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Ze waren eigenlijk nog gesloten maar konden toch een lekker kopje koffie bestellen en toerplaatsen nuttige.

It's a nice place with great food but the food is quite expensive for being close to a school and a startup incubator.

Mooi uitgebreide kaart. Ptijzen zijn echt schappelijk. Goede koffie daar. Appeltaart van Dudok, wereldberoemd in deze regio.

Mooie locatie en een mooi restaurant

RDM kantine ligt centraal tussen alle RDM gebouwen met onder andere een goed zicht op de Nieuwe Maas. De kantine is netjes, ruim en heeft een leuke kaart om onder meer te lunchen of gewoon een bakje koffie. Tijdens de lunch kan het nog wel eens druk zijn, maar dat kan alleen maar een goed teken zijn.

Heerlijk geluncht vers gemaakte Humus een aanrader!
