Can the waitresses move away from the entrance? I wanted to go in to order, and I found them chatting right there. I wanted to go in, and they didn't even try to move aside.

I walked in on a regular workday morning and took a seat. I found it took a remarkably long time for a place where there were 3 people serving. Eventually, I went to the bar to order myself and asked the friendly lady if anyone had come by. I placed my order, and a little later my drink was brought to the table. In the meantime, another person walked back and forth to tables and the bar with incorrectly made orders, shouting across the place what they were supposed to be. The music in the restrooms was just as loud. It was like a club in there, especially because it was a bit dirty. At 9 in the morning, you expect something different. Too bad.

Today I went out for lunch with my children. The food was tasty, but the service was very disappointing. It was very busy inside and outside, and with only two waiters, the service was clearly understaffed. We had to wait a long time and gesture with our hands multiple times to get a waiter's attention. What disappointed me most was the hygiene. The glass we were given was visibly dirty, with sticky stains and food residue; unfortunately, I cannot upload a photo here, but I did take pictures. They look very filthy. This also made me wonder how hygienic the food was. When I mentioned this, unfortunately, no apology was even offered. The food was tasty, but more attention really needs to be paid to service and hygiene here.

It's a nice café. The staff are friendly and pleasant. Drinks like a flat white are served quite quickly from the espresso machine. It's a bit noisy inside, but still within the normal range.

Today, August 24th, around 5:30 PM, I went to get a smoothie to take away. I waited quite a long time, and because I had my baby with me—who was a bit restless—I politely approached the girl making the juices to ask if my smoothie was ready yet and if she could perhaps prepare it. Her reaction was quite unpleasant: she yelled at me several times: “YOU MUST WAIT!”, even though I was not rude to her at any point. What I found absolutely unbelievable was that my smoothie was actually already ready. When I wanted to pick it up, she refused to give it to me. I literally had to say: “Please, can you give me the smoothie?” I find it truly unbelievable that I had to ask for something I had already paid for and which, moreover, was already ready. I do not find it acceptable to pay €7 for a smoothie and then be treated like this. Furthermore, the smoothie tasted almost entirely of water, was very watery, and was a huge disappointment. I understand that it can sometimes be busy and that customers have to wait, but respect and politeness should come from both sides. I remained friendly the entire time and expected the same treatment in return. A very bad experience and extremely poor customer service.

Served Rotterdam has quickly become my go-to cafe. The ambience is beautiful, cozy, and welcoming, making it such a lovely place to spend time and relax. Whether you’re stopping by for a coffee or spending some quality time here, Served is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend☕️ ⭐

Got served rudely, staff was not helpful and unfriendly. Ordered a takeaway - the barrista tossed the cup lid in the counter and didn't acknowledge the customer. Other cafes barrista would put the lid and serve the coffee to the customer.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We were served lukewarm coffee for three people and brought this to the attention of the staff. Although we subsequently received new coffee, it was served in a dirty cup. That is simply unacceptable for an establishment that bills itself as a quality coffee bar. You should be able to expect both the coffee and the hygiene to be up to standard. Very disappointing. (Dirty bottom of cup)

During our city walk through Rotterdam, it was time for a cup of coffee around 9 o'clock, and fortunately, this place was already open. After we had ordered (choice between eating in or taking away, and sitting inside or outside), we waited for the coffee. When ordering, it turned out the lady spoke English; we hadn't realized that immediately, but she was very friendly. We also didn't immediately see anything to accompany the coffee, but it turned out they were still working on that. After we had taken our seats, it turned out that smoking was (still) allowed outside, something I can't tolerate with my lungs, so we took another spot. When the coffee arrived, I missed the cake, but it came a little later instead of together with the coffee. Both the coffee and the cake were delicious, flavorful, and nice and warm, so that made up for the wait somewhat. It is a nice place, reasonably cozy inside but not so much on the outside. The terrace is spacious enough, and you have a beautiful view of a part of the city center around the Bijenkorf. The toilet was tidy and is a unisex toilet; it was clean, and everything you need for a bathroom break worked and was present (free, I believe). However, the music in the toilet is very loud; that could be turned down. The ladies in the establishment are friendly and enjoying themselves. The price is reasonable and is at the average level in the hospitality industry. Recommended? Yes, but not immediately if you can't handle it. Unless you can sit out of the smoke.

I’ve been coming to served for more than a year, still been amazed how good the food is and variety of options and what makes it outstanding is the staff. They are welcoming and the service is 👌🏾

Lovely place! The shakes and coffee are very tasty and the quality is top-notch. In addition, there is a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. You can also enjoy sitting outside on the terrace. Definitely recommended if you are in the mood for a good coffee or a tasty shake!

Trendy coffee shop where we sat outside on the terrace. Very nice place. The coffee tastes exceptionally good. The Tuna sandwich and Aqai bowl were surprising and very tasty. Top notch.

Good location, food is good, just a shame that my coffee was cold, but the chicken sandwich was delicious! Service was very good, I was served by a girl with curly hair, she was very friendly and brought my cold coffee back for a hot one.

I visit Served often, but I strongly advise against this location. The staff is unfriendly and looks irritated. The lady at the coffee machine this afternoon, in particular, could show a bit more positivity; I think she forgot that a smile is free.

Served has been my absolute favorite café in Rotterdam for years. I especially appreciate the fresh, delicious sandwiches and the consistently friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere is always wonderfully inviting and perfect for forgetting about time for a moment.

A lovely, small but cozy lunchroom to enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Make sure you get there before noon, as seating can be challenging during lunch. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are fantastic!

We all drank here because we wanted to get out as quickly as possible. The drinks weren't good, the service wasn't friendly, and our two drinks were served five minutes apart. It's not that difficult. Everything was also way too expensive, which is outrageous!

I wanted to have coffee at Served. No one came to ask what I wanted to drink. I waited for over 30 minutes. After that, I went to the cash register myself to order. The order arrived, but it was wrong. I had to reorder and wait again. In total, I waited almost an hour for my coffee. This is terrible service. 3:00 PM, December 27, 2025 No next time for me.

Last time, the manager rudely told me that if I didn't think it was going too fast, I'd better get coffee somewhere else. It was very busy, so I was afraid that if I went to the restroom, my spot would be taken. So I politely told the staff twice that I was afraid someone would take my spot. She responded, "I'm telling you, don't let them take your spot—that's no way to respond to customers!" Then she came to my table with the manager. All I said was that other people came in before me and they were helped first. He responded, "If you don't think it's going fast enough, I'd better get coffee somewhere else." How antisocial can you be? I find it truly unacceptable. As a manager, you can also respond in a normal, polite manner. Another customer sitting next to me heard how he reacted to me and said, "I'm never going there for a drink or a meal again."

The restaurant looks very nice, the drinks were delicious, but the pancakes are just store bought and very dry, definitely not worth the 10 euros they charge.

I picked it up from Served, and it was a complete disaster. My smoothie contained multiple pieces of plastic (see photos), completely unsafe and incomprehensible! The iced matcha tasted practically nothing, and the crab sandwich was pitifully filled. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed, but missing plastic pieces in a drink is simply unprofessional! After this experience, I won't be returning.

Amazing juices and smoothies, great coffee, and delicious pastries — but keep in mind, this place is always packed. It’s a popular spot where people love to soak up the sun with a view of de Bijenkorf. If you’re looking for the same great Served experience but with fewer crowds, I recommend visiting the location near Hofplein, just behind the city hall. It’s much quieter, and just as good.

It's a great place for a quick cup of tea or coffee. The terrace fills up quickly in nice weather. The service is attentive and fast. Don't expect a fantastic presentation. The pancakes were wonderfully fluffy, and the salad was also very tasty.

Pancakes from Albert Heijn. They even said they weren't fresh but came from a 'factory'. Well, I know them because I often buy them myself; they're literally from Albert Heijn, and I paid €10 for them. Shame on them! I'd like to add this in response to the owner's reaction: if they're not from Albert Heijn, they're probably from the same manufacturer they order from. They should have at least put on the menu that they're not fresh. It's a scam! And no thanks, but I won't be coming back to you.

I had a delicious cappuccino this morning and returned in the afternoon for a tasty Exotic Juice. I'll be back!

I'm coming to Served more and more often! They have truly delicious sandwiches (especially the chicken ones!) and super healthy drinks. I always order a cappuccino with coconut milk. The customer service is friendly and the service is excellent. I highly recommend eating or drinking here!

I ordered smoothie THE SHIT a classic toast and a cappuccino. The service was really fast, which we appreciated since we were in a rush. It’s not the first time I am eating here, and they always put a lot of filling in the toast and I love that! Thank you❤️

Every Saturday and occasionally on a Monday I have lunch or breakfast at Served. Together with my daughter. Great atmosphere Delicious Strawberry matcha, salads and sandwiches. Delicious food and the staff is super friendly. 🫶

Today was my first time here. 1 cappuccino and 1 iced coffee was €9 something. We thought how is that possible... apparently they had made a BIG cappuccino instead of a normal one. Way too big cappuccino, only milk, you can't taste the coffee anymore.....

Asked the waiter to bring us a towel or something to wipe the water from the chairs and the answer was “I’ve already done it”. So, we’ve decided to pay the unjustified higher prices for take away instead. Terrible service

On the lovely terrace in the middle of the city on various beautiful locations we enjoyed our coffee and matcha. Various choices with tasty sandwiches for lunch and pastries. Very friendly and fast help. Really recommended for a coffee break during shopping.

I come to Served every week for my matcha. Sometimes warm, sometimes cold. The sandwiches are also a 10/10, the juices are great, the acai is tasty and I really hope the matcha bowl comes back! 😍 In short, Served is really a great place and I really like to go there! Must try!!

My first visit to Served. Very cozy. Found more people so it was quite busy. Delicious pancakes. My first drink (outside) was served by a lady who was not in a good mood. Hence one star less. But once inside, super friendly help from a very nice lady and she made everything right. That's why I will definitely come back.

One of the most terrible customer experiences. They refuse to take order on the counter , instead I had to wait for the waiter that takes insane long amount of time. This place is super quiet for making an appointment or studying quietly without noise with a nice coffee or tea and whatever else you want. There are different types of dishes to drink that you like. And has enough room for everyone for all different types of people.

Overall it's nice but the price doesn't match the quality it matches the decor. It seems as though the high price comes from the vibe or aesthetic. You are paying for their rent. The food was good but nowhere near 47$ for 3 little generic sandwiches and a couple drinks. There are far better bakeries in the area for half the price.

Pancakes and coffee where both excellent, servers are a bit introvert so almost no civilized conversation while ordering. The music was playing overly loud, we had to almost shout to have a conversation. It made me restless and I couldn't wait to finish my plate and get out of there.

The food arrived first, but we had to wait a long time for coffee. We ordered dessert and forgot to bring it. On our last visit we came to unload food. It’s not very pleasant to sit and drink coffee and watch boxes being unloaded. In our opinion, if it is not possible to unload cargo through the rear entrance, this must be done before opening.
