Had a delicious meal here, mixed grill and a veggie burger. Good portion, nothing too much. A very sweet Ukrainian waitress. First time there, and it wasn't a disappointment!

Repeatedly disappointing experience. Ordered online, ready at the agreed-upon time, but practically cold. Two items I ordered were missing. I ordered 4 large fries, which came in a bag, but definitely not enough for 4 large fries. Last time I ordered fries for 3-4 people, but that was barely enough for 2 people. So I opted for 4 large fries this time, but the same disappointing result. I tried calling immediately, but no one answered. And then you pay over 40 euros for that. Order number 25497396

On our way back from Overloon Zoo, we stopped here for something to eat. A very wide selection and fair prices. The food was delicious. Afterwards, we had a delicious soft-serve ice cream with chocolate sauce. Simply delicious and definitely recommended.

Long waits (over an hour, even though the terrace was empty), forgotten orders, lack of empathy when you ask where the food is, and rude. Not recommended.

A couple of drinks and the bittergarnituur took a while to arrive, in the end we didn't get the bittergarnituur but a portion of bitterballen, just waited an hour for the wrong order

Ordered online. We were able to pick it up within 30 minutes, but once we arrived, we still had a long wait. When we got home, the order was incomplete, and no one answered the phone. We drove back and told them the order was incomplete. The order was still behind the counter and could be taken away. When we told them it was probably cold, the staff suggested we "reheat it..." Tip: dedicate more time/staff and cross off orders to ensure they are complete.

A very disappointing experience. Upon arrival, there were residues and dirt on almost every table; only two tables were occupied, but about twelve dirty tables—so we couldn't find a clean seat anywhere. After an arrogant look from the staff, we were finally assigned a table, but it was still dirty. We ordered drinks and received them quickly, but they were served in two incredibly dirty glasses. We therefore asked for a straw so we could drink from the bottle. We then waited 40 minutes for our food. The fries seemed to have been ready from the start—they were visibly cold in the basket and were therefore served cold. The fries had been refried several times, completely dried out, and so burnt that there was hardly any potato left. We pointed this out and were eventually given new fries. But the fact that they leave food lying around for so long and clearly don't care about quality speaks volumes. The hygiene was also terrible. The windows in the display case were dirty, there was a container of chicken left uncovered, drying out from start to finish, and the whole place looked dingy and unkempt. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Tonight, at this time, we were kicking off our vacation. It was very busy upon arrival, which partly caused everything to take a little longer. It happens. We then ordered a Hawaiian schnitzel without pineapple. Finally, after 45 minutes, the schnitzel arrived, and of course, it had pineapple on it. I sent the plate back without a single bite. Then we saw the pineapple being scraped off and the plate being put back in front of me. Thinking everything was taken care of, I started eating. When I was a quarter of the schnitzel, I was surprised to see that there was still pineapple on it. I pointed this out again and didn't eat any more, partly because they "forgot" to put vegetables on another plate. I reported this to the staff, who were also surprised and immediately apologized. When it came to paying, half the schnitzel had been deducted. Naturally, we disagreed. The manager was called in. She was visibly irritated by the crowd and the problem she herself had caused twice. At first, she was uncooperative and completely inappropriate. We tried to explain things calmly, but with a tone of frustration. The lady suggested we calm down. Then I said, "I'm not that difficult, normally." She interrupted me. In other words, she was completely unfriendly to customers. Ultimately, she deducted the full amount from the bill, angrily walked away, and her staff had to round it up. Kudos to the staff for even trying to calm things down. Major negative points, to the owner. Not recommended. Unfortunately, I didn't read the older review below, otherwise I wouldn't have gone there. The negative situations below describe it exactly as they are. So, once you've read this, you're done, and as far as I'm concerned, you can look for another place.

We were at Landal Park, just picking up fries. We waited over half an hour before our order arrived, and the store wasn't even very busy. There was a customer ahead of us, picking up fries. And of course, there were people eating there. A staff member was friendly. But I don't think they're capable of going the extra mile. Maybe they're short-staffed? The fries were a bit dry.

Ordered fries stew with a smulrol on the terrace via the qr code on the table, since the web order gave problems, no loose mayo available and when choosing drinks it went completely crazy. Suddenly I had four specialty beers on the bill instead of another drink. Eventually delivered a drink, a fries war and the smulrol. Nothing wrong with it but different than ordered. Staff addressed that the bill was incorrect due to 4 specialty beers. The young man did not know what to do and went to consult with an older employee or owner. Eventually answered that it would be refunded online. Still received nothing. Conclusion very bad business. And do not order anything via the qr code...

Confusing for unfamiliar people when you enter through the "wrong door." I stood somewhat lost at the counter, unnoticed, until someone familiar with the area came in and realized that the menu was on the ceiling around the corner and that you had to pay in advance. There was no receipt, no bell... and it was a bit confusing to leave. Despite a moderate crowd, we waited 10 minutes for drinks and another 20 minutes for food. A plate of kibbeling (a kind of squid) cost €18... we thought it was a snack bar...

It always looks full, I don't know why. I thought, OK, it must be good. Unfortunately, it isn't. The fries come unsalted, my girlfriend's food is on my plate, and the schnitzel tastes like it came from a pre-packaged dish that was heated up in the microwave. The online menu lists loaded fries, but you can't order them. Quote: We don't have loaded fries. When I asked why it was on the online menu, the waitress didn't have an answer.

Just picked up food and everything was fresh, nice and warm and sufficient. There were quite a few guests present to eat on the spot and clearly a lot had been ordered. So we had to wait a while for our food, but they were working at a high pace, so no problem! In the meantime we saw well-filled plates passing by that looked delicious. The fries Rendang and the buttermilk strips are recommended.

Food cold, a large fries were even smaller than the children's fries on a children's menu. And not to mention the drops of sauce that are on your fries for a small fee of €2.5. Nice cafeteria; served quickly. What was a real shame was that our son wanted a bouncer that came standard with 3 eggs, sandwiches, ham and cheese. However, he wanted 2 sandwiches and 2 eggs without cheese and ham. So quite downsized! We simply had to pay the full amount for this. Some discount would have been nice. And we even had to pay extra for the mayo that was not included as standard. At least I should have included it for free. So in principle everything was fine, but this bit of service was a real downside!

Having a bite to eat for the first time, but also the last time. It does look attractive, so high expectations. Until we ordered, first pass the order to the waiter. So far so good. Until someone came again to tell us that we had already ordered. Can happen. We received the order neatly on a plate. But half of our order was on my husband's plate. No problem, we put the right snack on our plates ourselves. Does my husband have sour meat instead of the ordered satay... Waited for that again. I had 2 special frikadellen, without the well-known cut. When I asked, she said that the frikadellen were still frozen and no cut could be made in them. So just add some onions and you're done. They had been very busy and their apologies... In short, a lot of annoyance...never going there again.

Ordered via the website to collect, the time indicated is incorrect. You just end up in the queue of the business. In addition, you receive the wrong order and it is our problem. You should receive old fries here and then also gain empathy because they have to throw away an order. I would say; risk for the entrepreneur if there is not clear communication. Not for repetition.

Ordered online, but when we picked it up we received the wrong order! We called and we were able to pick up the new order, received the right snacks and, after negotiating, we also received fresh fries instead of the old fries that we had already picked up earlier... Unfortunately we were blamed for the wrong order, while the snack bar had given us the wrong order, a simple apology would have been sufficient...

Large fries eaten on site were just as big as normal fries and if you indicate and show this, the staff says that the normal fries have been given more?? So no!!!! And then walk away. Fries were just really cold. The phone rang several times but was not answered (a young girl asked if she could answer it, but the adult woman who apparently was in charge (a grumpy look on her face) said No) even though it was absolutely not busy. After which the two girls had a nice chat at the beer tap. Never experienced a very special experience in that snack bar, it seems as if they don't feel like it anymore.

Very poor service and a very rude girl behind the counter who only got half a full bowl of fries. And then a big mouth from the owner.

Upon entering we were kindly welcomed by the staff. We wanted to order at the counter because there was a large board with choices. We were sent to the table by a lady with a smoking voice to 'order via the QR code'. In the end we didn't have our phone with us, so with a deep sigh we were helped to the table. The food was mainly tasteless, luckily the sauce was pumped on top of the fries so we had a nice sauce. The young girl who also works there made the experience a little better. She was kind and apologized three times. In addition, she was the only one we really saw working, so compliments to her.

It took 30 minutes for our food to arrive. I understand that there are not enough staff and that it is busy, but at least make sure the food is good. My fries and frikandel special were just cold. I didn't say anything because I was really so hungry that I didn't want to wait that long again. I ordered thin fries, but just got the same fries as my partner. The portions were also very small. Normally I can hardly eat a large fries, but now I was still hungry when I finished eating. It's a shame about this experience, because it is a nice place with a good atmosphere and decoration.

The food was delicious, we ordered carpaccio, panini and fries. The food was hot, fresh and large portions. Good high chair for our daughter. They have a large outdoor terrace, you can also relax inside and there are plenty of choices in terms of food. Staff is friendly and helpful.

What a soulless Restaria this is. Grumpy staff, old lady who has no pleasure in her work or business at all, young girls who are not at all concerned with their work. After we had sat for a while, we went inside to ask whether it was self-service or whether it was served. They then said that someone would come and take the order. Then someone came to take the order. When the coffee was brought, it seemed as if it had already been "pre-sweetened" (or was it still the sugar from the previous user?) and not drinkable for someone who does not like sweets. This terrace is not recommended.

Tasty toast. Friendly and fast service. It was just a quick bite. So I can't really judge further. What I did notice is that the glasses on the "Kels" can sometimes be replaced. The thing is completely yellowed. It may be clean, but it gives a dirty appearance.

The food was fine, but the grumpy attitude of the manager was terrible. Even her staff was snubbed. We understand that it can be tough if you have few staff, but kindness does not cost money. I would definitely work on that if you still want to retain customers and staff.

Restaria Loon in Overloon. Beautiful place on a very nice spot with a nice terrace. Had a delicious ice cream last Sunday. Friendly staff, in short, great. Will definitely come back to enjoy the delicious dishes.

Last Sunday I had dinner here with three others. The regular fries were okay, but I didn't like the rendang. The day after I suffered a minor stomach flu. Another order at my table had French fries that had been fried at least 2 times. These were very dark and chewy. We also ordered drinks, but they were forgotten and we had to get them ourselves. The staff is friendly and the interior looks great. Also a very large menu/choice. Due to the staff shortage we had to wait longer, but we had already read that.

Ordering with QR code is not nice. Burger was much smaller than in the photo Very long wait. Quite expensive for what you get. Tables were numbered incorrectly.

Freshly prepared, filled up, the food was beautifully presented. Nice service, served as ordered. I can only recommend.

Placed and collected a telephone order for €94.65 today. When he returned home it turned out to be incomplete. Contacted us by telephone and we were treated unfriendly and asked whether we had looked carefully and it was absolutely not possible that a fries were missing at €9.95. It was suggested that I was lying. No more Restaria Loon for us. Tip: Don't call customers liars.

You can clearly notice that this business is suffering from a staff shortage, which is a shame. The ham sandwich, the egg roll and the tea were excellent. The coffee didn't taste that good, it seemed like a cheap Senseo.

Was delicious food. We were in a bit of a hurry because the dog had been home alone for quite some time. Serving took a little too long in our opinion. Friendly and neat staff. And a complete 3-course menu for a reasonable amount. Highly recommended.

Sat on the terrace. A little further away (ice cream parlour) everything is full, not here. Although not an "ice cream parlour", but otherwise great!

Had a really delicious lunch here. Tuna salad was nice and fresh, as was the bread. My husband had the basic burger with some fries and really liked that too. Friendly staff. And everything for a fair price. In my opinion, highly recommended.

A cozy place with excellent dishes. Unfortunately there were only two staff members working (one in the kitchen and one in service). Since it was quite busy, this meant that people had to wait a long time for orders.

Ordered food by phone. We were supposed to pick it up in 20 minutes. When we got there 20 minutes later, we had to wait another 40 minutes. When we asked when the food would be ready, we were told: it will come when it comes. It is understandable that you have to wait when it is busy. Just be realistic in the time given. Now it causes irritation. Food itself was fine. Could have been warmer. Unfortunately, I forgot the sauce for the mixed grill.

After ordering by telephone in which we were told that our order would be ready in 20 minutes, we arrived to a huge line of people waiting in front of us. The manager snapped at us with: "we will come to you automatically". A bizarre sight unfolded before us as we waited. There was constant criticism of the staff (who are young and inexperienced but really try their best). The scene almost looked like an HR training video on how not to lead; I felt sorry for the staff who have to work under this woman. Customers left one by one angry, but no excuses were made for the wait. We ended up waiting an hour -an HOUR!- for our order. All that was left was a sarcastic "thank you for your patience" in a smoked voice. No compensation, no excuses - and I should NOT have to ask for that myself! Moreover, the fries had been on the counter for so long that they were lukewarm. In addition, I doubt whether the burger was vegetarian (the only vegetarian option btw), I've had such a nuisance and bad dreams about it (vegetarians who accidentally eat meat again know exactly what I mean). Don't believe responses from this company in the reviews: there is no - whatsoever - of 'we always provide a solution'. Tip to everyone: avoid this tent and drive to the nearby Mac.

I wanted to order here because I always do this and wanted to call and saw my review then I read how the owner responds to other negative reviews that are not even that disapproving, really very sad! I won't come here anymore!

We were unsure whether to order here because of mixed reviews. In retrospect, we would have preferred to pick up elsewhere. Ordered online and picked it up, but everything was wrong with the order when we unpacked everything at home. 2x chili sauce were missing. ordered fries with sauce separately, came on the fries. Received special fries instead of satay and mayo. The mayo was missing from fries and a hogweed with mayo became a hogweed special. Ordered French fries 3 times and only received 1. The fries were cold. Ordered for 60 euros but every euro was too much. If, like us, you are in a holiday park nearby, I would advise you to drive a bit further to Venray and not to this tent.

We had a very nice meal. The employees present had a very different sense of hospitality. The little lady with short dark hair was really sweet and meticulous. Big kudos to her!

Picked up food here tonight. Unfortunately no bami discs but there are bami blocks, unfortunately not edible. Farmer's fries, too little garnish on top, too bad. Fries war as it should be. Hot chicken fries were delicious. I work in a cafeteria myself, do something about your farmer's fries 😉 And the way the owner responds to criticism here, it doesn't seem very smart to keep customers coming back. So you really can't handle criticism. If I ever go on holiday in Overloon again, I will go to your neighbors across the street in Cyprus where the food is much better and the staff is much friendlier than you.

Super delicious food. Ordered online and it is only a 3-minute drive from Landal, so it was arranged in no time. When we wanted to order an ice cream for one of the children, the lady behind the counter said you will get this children's ice cream from us.... you have his large order 😊 That's service!

Grote zaak, vriendelijke dames die de boel runnen en aardig eten. De friet smaakt goed, hamburgers was ik niet erg van onder de indruk. Al met al 3,5 sterren waard, dus afgerond uitgekomen op 4.

Even met de familie een hapje gegeten na een weekendje weg. Niks mis mee.
