Great lunch, good parking, limited craft beer

Today, we had a lovely lunch on the terrace with friends. On the recommendation of the staff, we ordered a hot meat sandwich, and it was indeed excellent. We sat outside in a nice, atmospheric setting and had a pleasant afternoon. In short: this is pure enjoyment.

We had coffee here. There was no one behind the counter and it was very lively in the kitchen with the staff, so we waited a long time to see if there was even a table available. The staff does not come to take a second order if you are sitting on the terrace. We will not be coming back here.

The food is good. Today we had to wait an hour for lunch and more than fifteen minutes for our drinks. Even though it is certainly not busy.

Cheese board for lunch. Decent portions. Mediocre explanation from the waitress: Brie, aged cheese, cheese with holes, and crumbly cheese. That was it. Quite one-sided in terms of flavor. No bread included. Fig jam on the menu turned out to be a kind of apple syrup.

Had a very disappointing lunch on King's Day. For the high price you pay, you would expect something, but you are served an unimaginative meal. The smashburger for €22.50! It is a small hamburger bun with a basket of overcooked thin fries, no mayonnaise, no extra pile of salad, nothing! The salmon club sandwich for €16 consists of 2! dry brown slices of bread cut in half with a slice of salmon, a few lettuce leaves, some seeds, and a thin layer of herb cream. Seriously, that they dare to serve this for this price. Also, no one came to ask in between courses if it was to our liking, plates are not cleared, and you have to walk to the counter yourself to ask if you can pay. Bad business!

We go there very often, nice staff, the food is good and tasty 😋, and it has a super cozy atmosphere, highly recommended.

We had tapas there. But not traditional. These are just small bites. Steak, satay, shrimp, desserts. Waaaayyy tastier. Really had a wonderful evening with delicious snacks. Also, you get to stay the whole evening. Not just 1 or 2 hours. Top notch

We had to wait a long time for our lunch; they probably forgot about us because the croquettes were no longer hot when we were served them. We did mention this and they offered new ones, but we still had an appointment to go to, so we didn't take advantage of that. A shame.

Just had lunch here and it was a lovely experience. We hadn't made a reservation, but fortunately we were still warmly welcomed. The restaurant is spacious and beautifully decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good and flavorful. The stewed meat was very tasty, although it could have been a bit warmer. All in all, a successful lunch and certainly a place to come back to!

We arrived without a reservation, and they still gave us a table. We really appreciated this on such a busy evening. It was a Saturday night, and we had unlimited tapas. The food was truly delicious, the atmosphere super cozy, the restaurant beautiful, and the service superb! We will definitely be back! Great place! This is highly recommended!

If you really want a tasty lunch, get the smash burger. One of the best burgers I've ever had.

Good food for a reasonable price. There's a cozy atmosphere, especially around Christmas. It's located next to the A2 and A15 highways, so it's easy to get there.

Delicious food! It was a spontaneous stop, no regrets.

We went to lunch this afternoon with four people and one child. The service is terrible; it takes ages for them to come and take their drink and food orders, and by the time you even get your food, it's over an hour. They don't even come around to take your drink orders anymore. The only choice for children is a toasted sandwich. The people next to us were seated fifteen minutes later, finished their food, and then left, and they still had to take our order. We used to enjoy coming here, but this was the last time.

Great place, nice decor, good parking. Lunch was perfectly fine. But... the staff's attentiveness really needs to improve; they don't look up or around, and don't ask if we'd like another round of drinks. I went to the cash register to ask if we could order coffee after lunch. After that, I had to go to the cash register twice (!) to ask if we could pay. That really needs to improve.

Had dinner with neighbors last night. Food that was supposed to be hot was lukewarm. Only the snacks from the fryer were actually warm. We told three staff members that we really wanted our hot snacks to be hot. Unfortunately, that didn't work out. It wasn't full of diners either, so that can't have been the problem. A real shame. Especially since I'd recently been to Gorkum and it was served hot there. So it's acceptable. We won't be going to Meteren again.

We went out for dinner last night and it was disappointing. The food wasn't warm and I mentioned it a few times but it didn't get any better. The food remained lukewarm and the taste was ok, but I won't be eating there again in Meteren.

The food looked appealing. The taste was disappointing. The avocados served with lunch were very mediocre and detracted from the rest.

Our reservation, confirmed by 3 Zussen via email, was not processed correctly, meaning a table for 8 people had to be arranged for us upon arrival. The food is really good, but there is a long delay between serving and taking orders for the next round. We got the feeling that they couldn't really handle the number of people. Talking was mainly possible with your neighbors; due to the number of people, it was very noisy. Halfway through the evening, the beat from the DJ in the next room joined in as well.

The atmosphere is casual, but the quality of the food… not bad, but not good either.

Nothing special; we were there for a cup of coffee with something on the side, but the side was disappointing.

Just a quick drink. It took quite a while. The appetizer took longer, and the sauces were forgotten, only to be replaced by the wrong ones. There were plenty of waitstaff, but they didn't seem very organized.

Poor service, had to wait a long time. The steak was raw, and if you complained about it, the staff became rude. The table wasn't cleared. We won't be back.

Perhaps we were unlucky, too busy? We ordered a cappuccino, one with half a cookie and one with a stale, chewy cookie. No spoons were provided, and we asked two servers who then passed by two or three times, but no spoons were provided. It's a shame, otherwise, the terrace is lovely!

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was good. The service was friendly, but the interaction with guests could be better. We would have liked a few more drinks, though.

Tapas with special attention to detail. Sometimes small portions, but the unlimited number of rounds more than compensates for that. The quality is excellent.

We've rarely had such a bad meal. Dishes that should have been hot were cold, and although the portions were fine, this had absolutely nothing to do with Spanish food. We left several dishes because they simply weren't tasty. Unfortunately, the service couldn't make up for this either: they certainly weren't warm or friendly. All in all, a huge disappointment. We won't be back.

The service tonight wasn't what we were used to. It took a long time for them to come and take a new round. While a large group was being served constantly. Desserts were a complete nightmare; I almost wanted to just leave. You pay a lot, and you deserve something in return. We were seated in a remote corner of the restaurant and felt like the forgotten table among the large group. You'd think the waitstaff would have dedicated tables, but there was little to no system in place.

Due to staff shortages, it's not possible to eat there. Disappointing! This is already the second time.

This location was halfway through a family gathering. We only had coffee and apple pie. The atmosphere wasn't anything special; I wouldn't go there for dinner.

Very poor service. Glasses and plates are simply handed to the table and not brought to the table. The staff doesn't know what's being served. The service is very poor. Some of the food is served late, and everything is served in groups, and sometimes not passed on to the kitchen.

Had tapas last night, and the food was generally good. The delivery of snacks and especially drinks wasn't very organized. A bit of a shame. I won't be choosing you again anytime soon.

The concept is good, but the food quality is a huge disappointment. It seems like almost everything is outsourced. The flavors come from pre-made sauces. The quality is very poor: all the fried ingredients are frozen, and the oil from the fryer leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. I can't recommend a single item on the menu that was truly delicious. The staff was friendly and the service was acceptable, although some employees seemed unmotivated. It wasn't a great experience, and I won't be returning. I'm sorry to have to write a negative review, but I feel it's necessary to warn others.

Lots of different snacks, and you have to be careful not to overeat, as each one is more tempting than the last. It was busy, but the service remained attentive and friendly.

Went by for lunch, mainly because of the easy accessibility and because we liked the branch in Rhenen. Tasty meal salads and 12 hours, great service. However, you can hardly hear each other because of the noise at the start of lunch, 1/3 of the tables were occupied and then it was impossible for three people to hear each other clearly, you have to make an effort. That's why a 3 for the atmosphere, the decor is neat and up to date, but meeting relaxed is another matter because of the sound.

5 stars says enough. Too bad the kitchen only opens at 12:00.

Today (Wednesday, February 5, 2025) reserved a table for lunch. It was very busy, so we thought it was a good thing. Upon entering we were welcomed by (it turns out) the new “manager”. We were allowed to walk through and choose a table ourselves. We did a few rounds through the restaurant before we decided to sit at a high table at the bar, it was really full. The wine was ordered (the pinot grigio) and was very tasty, for €5.80 the glass was also very affordable, that was not the problem. After waiting a while, the manager who had welcomed us earlier arrived with the announcement that it would all take a little longer. In front of us was a group of 19 people for whom they first started working. Okay, that can happen, no problem. We asked if we could get a basket of bread while waiting (according to the menu: basket of bread with herb butter, aioli and garlic olives for €5.50). He was going to do “his best”. This is what his “best” looked like: Fifteen minutes later, a plate with a white bread roll, a bowl of garlic sauce (?!), chili sauce (?!?!) and tomato puree (?!?!?!) was quickly placed on the table. At this point I seriously assumed that this was some kind of “sweetener” for the longer wait, on the house, and not the bread basket with herb butter, aioli and olives for €5.50. After all, it wasn't what was on the menu at all?? We also ordered a carpaccio salad, the wagyu burger and a hot meat sandwich. Carpaccio on the menu: “Beef carpaccio with mesclun lettuce, cherry tomatoes, grated parmesan and truffle mayonnaise, served with bread and herb butter” Carpaccio that was served: A MOUNTAIN of lettuce and vegetables, complete with pieces of radish, pepper, bean sprouts (seriously?!) but without cherry tomatoes, with a few slices of carpaccio draped over it, topped with powdered parmesan including lumps and truffle mayo. The bread and herb butter were also nowhere to be seen. Oh yeah, we didn't get any plates to eat from either (we had indicated that we would share the carpaccio salad as an appetizer). Then the Wagyu burger (according to the menu: Tender Wagyu burger on a soft pretzel bun, topped with arugula, caramelized onions, cheddar, tomato and truffle mayonnaise): The meat was anything but tender and juicy. It had no flavor, was almost too tough to chew, completely overcooked and dry. It was really unbearable. The fries were VERY well done, just like the burger. The manager came to ask if everything was okay and I decided to complain. The burger was taken back to the kitchen and a moment later the manager returned with the following message: “Due to the hygiene code, we have to cook meat well done and it is not allowed to serve underdone meat (SERIOUS?!?!?!?!). When we said that we come to the three sisters more often and that the wagyu sandwich is always a favorite and we are asked how red we want the meat, we were told "yes, I trust the chef to be honest". Yes, nice, but that doesn't make my €22.50 hamburger sandwich any juicier. The hot meat sandwich was fine in itself, but the edges of the meat with the peanut sauce were also dark and hard (too hard, fried for too long!). All in all, it seemed that our food had been “forgotten” on the baking tray and in the fryer and that all kinds of excuses were made instead of sincerely saying “yes, sorry, this is not the standard we want to use”. As compensation I was offered a cup of coffee, which I declined. The bread basket with herb butter, aioli and olives for €5.50 was then placed on the receipt for the piece of white bread with garlic sauce and chili sauce while waiting. Then my clog broke and we started talking again. The result was that dishes that we did not like were taken off the coupon and we walked out the door unsatisfied for more than €40. All in all, a very disappointing experience in every area, except for the wine. Next time take off the cap when pouring :').

Vitello Tonnato was very tasty. Rolls were actually just a little too hard, which made cutting a bit difficult. Well stocked and tasty. Friendly service from the staff.

Super good food and warm atmosphere

We wanted to have a bite to eat here, luckily it wasn't busy so the restaurant was largely empty. We were told that there were only 2 tables available (I certainly counted about 5 empty tables, but who am I). The first table was full under an air duct, so there was a draft... The other table was not much better, in the middle of the aisle next to the door. Draft here too. Once again we kindly asked if we could sit at one of the other empty tables. But no! "We only serve these two". Very special, it looked attractive, but the atmosphere was hard to find. Bye bye never!

This will most likely be the first and last time I visit this restaurant. The service was very poor, we had to wait a long time. On the first drink, bringing the card and taking the order. In addition, I wanted to drink a different wine with my 2nd order, which she wanted to pour into the same glass that had already been used!!! The food was lukewarm and my table companion's food was not as described on the menu. Finally, the receipt was incorrect at checkout. They won't see me here again for a while.

Ate here for the first time. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. The drinks order was taken quickly, the cards were supposed to be delivered...unfortunately this took quite a while, just like the food (it can happen). The merlot wine was not tasty, we did not drink it. Have to remind staff to get a new glass for a different wine. The risotto and fries were lukewarm. The carpaccio salad was very disappointing for €19.50. It was cheap and dry lettuce from a pre-packed bag and carpaccio on top. The proportions were a bit off. Lots of lettuce, I couldn't discover the cherry tomatoes, you had to look for Parmesan cheese with a magnifying glass and the truffle mayonnaise was so limited that you mainly had the feeling that you were chewing on dry and tasteless lettuce. Rarely had his tasteless salad. Then a cup of tea, the glass was only half full. The second cup was missing the cookie. At 9.15 pm we were told that the last option was to order something. Last but not least…the bill is wrong. In short: not worth repeating for us

I've eaten there 3 times now: nice place, very nice service, wide choice of dishes! However, there are also some negative points regarding the quality: - my first dish, flamkuchen with carpaccio: very little carpaccio; - my second time: panino with pulled chicken: a bit dry and not well stocked with chicken; - third time: two croquettes with fries: the croquettes were tasty, but the fries were very dry/mealy. I hope they do something with my comments, because I would love to come back!!! Marion

Mediocre food quality. Soup was still lukewarm, despite asking for the second time to heat it. The service left much to be desired, especially after more people came to eat. Maybe some more staff.

Married for 35 years today and went out for dinner here with the family. Relax outside on the terrace. Can only say very good. Food good. The environment is good. Friendly. Really. These people and service were top notch. Of course also the kitchen. Can only recommend it.

A really nice location, easily accessible with plenty of free parking. However, the food leaves much to be desired. Almost 20 euros for a fish salad. It was tip-top, just look for the fresh fish. Too bad, not recommended for me.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at restaurant 3 sisters. My mother-in-law and I wanted to surprise my sister-in-law because of... her pregnancy. So we chose the "High tea with blue - baby shower" theme package. I assumed that because it was a baby shower with an additional charge of 5 euros per person, the pregnant guest himself would be taken into account. Almost no sandwich was suitable for pregnant women: Carpaccio sandwich Tuna salad sandwich Serrano ham sandwich Crab salad sandwich Goat cheese and hummus sandwich Warm bruschettas (were cold) So we apparently paid 15 euros more for just a blue toothpick and some blue food coloring on the sweets. I indicated in advance that the sandwiches with cheese could be replaced. Unfortunately, my sister-in-law received 2 small chicken sandwiches and a cheese sandwich, so that she could still eat something as a pregnant woman. But we had the cheese replaced earlier. So this was not communicated properly. The sandwiches were very disappointing. The carpaccio and serrano ham were not fresh and had probably been on the sandwich for some time. The arugula looked limp. The rolls themselves were dry. Nothing was home made. Unfortunately we didn't have any soup beforehand. That was mentioned. We paid 30 euros per person for this. 1 etagère with unimaginative and cheap sandwiches. Including 2 rounds of drinks, this all cost 100 euros. My sister-in-law could hardly eat any of this. It is an attractively decorated location, open until 11pm every day. It attracts a certain crowd and is quite full on weekends. We experienced that it was therefore not suitable to take your grandparents with you because we could not hear each other due to the crowds. The food is quite ok. You can tell from the limp arugula that the food has been ready in the kitchen for a while. There are young people in the ministry, but not all of them have made it clear how to interact with people socially. The dishes you order are sometimes not delivered or are very scattered. There was also an empty cutlery set at our table (something that I also experience as less pleasant and gives a dining barn feeling, while quite a bit of attention has been paid to the design of the rooms to ensure that it does not feel that way) and it took a long time. time before the stacked plates were collected. It is a nice place if you go there with a group of people, but a romantic spot as a couple. Mhoah.

Very cozy restaurant. It is a really large restaurant with several rooms and an outdoor terrace, but because it is well laid out it feels like a cozy restaurant with nice and beautiful and very diverse seating areas. Service is friendly and helpful and also responds nicely. Food is really good, tonight it was tapas, lots of different dishes that are all very tasty.
