Food is not that bad but waitresses are terrible . They brought us dirty glass, and they were unpleasant… even rude i would say. Once we were done with dinner we wanted to take a picture so we kindly asked a waitress. She grabed a phone of my friend with cold look and face like she wants to kill us. After we were taking position for photo she throw a sentence:” will this take long ? Im not here to do it…. „ So i take phone back and did it myself . I know its not her job but please , it takes just a second it is really small thing to make people happy … Beside of that the same waitress, turn look away many times when we wanted to order drinks.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday, and I'm truly ashamed of myself for choosing this restaurant. What a disappointment. The food was cold, watery, and tasteless. It had nothing to do with being fresh or well-prepared. For an all-you-can-eat restaurant, you expect at least decent, hot, and edible food. Instead, we were served dishes that neither of us felt comfortable with. The service was distant and disinterested. No smile, no sense of hospitality, and hardly any effort was made when we pointed out the food wasn't good. I felt truly awful that I had arranged this for her birthday. Instead of a pleasant, special evening, we were left with bad food and a terrible atmosphere. In my opinion, quality and hygiene should be seriously monitored here. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone, let alone on such an important day. I won't be returning and strongly advise others against spending their money or their special moments here.

I ate here for my birthday, and I can honestly say it was one of the most miserable, embarrassing dining experiences I've ever had. The food was cold, watery, and downright disgusting. It had nothing to do with being fresh, warm, or tasty. It felt like they'd simply thrown together some cheap junk. For an all-you-can-eat price, you expect at least edible food. What we got, in my opinion, was "gnawed-off leftovers from the trash bin." The service: no smile, no welcome, no sense of hospitality whatsoever. It felt like you were bothering them by even coming in. When we pointed out that the food was cold and bad, there was barely any reaction. No sincere apologies, no serious offer to actually fix it. In my opinion, this is misleading to customers. You pay a lot of money for "dining out," but what you get feels more like cheap junk with absolutely no love, care, or respect for either the food or the guest. This is not only a waste of money, but given the temperature and quality of the food, it's also a serious concern in terms of hygiene and food safety. I sincerely hope this place gets properly inspected. Celebrating my birthday here was a huge mistake. I will never, ever come back, and I advise everyone against spending a single euro here.

We were very disappointed with the food. Little selection, the food was lukewarm or cold, and some dishes didn't taste good. My steak was practically butchered on the spot, flattened, and chopped with a spatula. It was as tough as the soles of a shoe. Unfriendly staff. We definitely won't be back.

From the moment we walked in to the end, VERY grumpy. The staff was rude as hell, their mouths hanging off the floor. The food wasn't wow; the carpaccio wasn't even cut, I don't know what they did with it. The food quality was generally really bad (it certainly wouldn't hurt that the food inspection there lasts the longest). The soy sauce was in a rinsed-out old coke bottle. 😳 There were dirty black hairs on our table upon arrival. The tables are so close together that you get stuck and have to constantly charge the people at another table... for me, this 'restaurant' isn't worth people's money, let alone being open. 😉

We entered and there was a long line, eventually a man rudely shouted, "One person can stay, move the rest!" Once at our table, it was okay until then. We ordered drinks because a drinks package wasn't possible due to our Social Deal. We really like carpaccio, so both my sister and I ordered it. We couldn't eat it because the meat was impossible to cut. There were some shavings of Parmesan on it, no sauce, pine nuts, nothing, so we left it. You're still chewing when they drag the plates off the table. The unfriendly staff. The cold salads were all mixed with a lot of sauce—just lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumber were nonexistent. The fruit was cut into very large chunks. The grilled vegetables only had garlic, not a special sauce you could make in a wok. All in all, you don't pay much, but that's reflected in both the staff—especially the male Japanese staff—and the food itself. We'd rather pay 10 euros more for much better quality and friendly staff.

WARNING: ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO. I booked a deal for 4 people at Bouvigne Paradijs through Social Deal, but this was honestly the worst dining experience ever. We were met with rude looks upon arrival because we booked through Social Deal—guests without a deal were clearly given priority. The food was absolutely disgusting: sushi with uncooked rice, half-raw meat, and dirty plates. After waiting an hour and feeling disgusted, we got up to leave. But it got worse: at the exit, we were aggressively approached by the owner, who accused us of not even having a reservation. When we pointed out that the food was raw, unsanitary, and inedible, he became even angrier and literally said, "If you want good sushi, you should go to a sushi place." While they advertise "freshly made sushi." Disgraceful. Unprofessional, unsanitary, and disrespectful to Social Deal customers. A real embarrassment to the hospitality industry. Never again.

Upon entering, we were greeted by the waitstaff, who had the enthusiastic air of a corpse in the back of a truck. They radiated a disinterest that was almost admirable; they seemed genuinely surprised that there were guests. I ordered the lamb chop, hoping for a slice of heaven. What I received was something that might once have dreamed of being lamb, but was frozen in the reality of raw, flavorless, and suspiciously cardboard-smelling meat. It tasted as if the animal had forgotten how to be lamb. My partner ventured into the buffet, a landscape of culinary horror. The meat looked as if it had been basking under a heat lamp since prehistoric times. It was so dehydrated it could probably have served as a matchstick. The soup had a skin thicker than the ice at the North Pole. I respect that skin; it had staying power. And then the sashimi. I'm a fan of raw fish, but not of its unexpected protein: a long, black hair. It was the freshest addition of the evening. A tiny bit of DNA evidence that at least something living was present in the kitchen. Dessert was the height of tragedy. The desserts, straight from the industrial freezer, were so dried out from their extremely long stay in the cold that they had the texture of sandpaper. The chocolate sprinkles on top were out of date, which I only realized when I tasted them. They tasted like the dust you find under a sofa. The highlight of the evening? The absolute, undisputed star of the show? The canned peaches. Cold, sweet, and honest. They don't pretend to be anything more than what they are. They were the only edible, recognizable, and, most importantly, uncontaminated food source in this culinary wilderness. This isn't a restaurant; it's a social experiment. Go here if you want to know what it's like to pay for a disappointment that will remain etched in your memory for a long time. Or, better yet, stay home and eat a can of peaches. It's cheaper, and you won't miss the hair in your food.

This restaurant is a bit worse than it used to be. Quite a few things were really bad—tough, hard, tasteless, and I don't think they were even fresh from the day before. Refilling some things took a while, even though you'd booked for (for example) two hours. What really irritated me was that I received not one, but two draft beers that weren't filled to the required level. My conclusion is that it's all just a matter of time...for now, I won't be going back with my family.

Took me a while to write this review but here it goes: DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! I can’t believe how bad this place is; for starters place is dirty, food is old and disgusting, no taste whatsoever. The waitress which I assume is the “head” waitress has horrible customer service, there was no one in the restaurant and she asked me to keep my 2 kids (who were not being loud) quiet because it’s bothering people! Ok, what people? And again they were not being loud! The owner I believe doesn’t even say hello or bye, the whole staff looks miserable. I genuinely can’t understand how this place is still open!

Ate here on October 7, 2025. I've been coming here for years, but it's not what it used to be. Some dishes, like nasi goreng (fried rice), were cold. The first thing the grumpy waitress says is that you MUST order drinks, as if we weren't already planning to. The food is also poor quality. The sashimi was the worst thing I've ever tasted; it looked fake, but I tried it anyway. It was like a soggy piece of plastic. I think the carpaccio had been sitting there for days. The soy sauce is in a Coke bottle. Everything is poorly organized. I'll never go back here, you idiot.

I recently ate here; there was plenty of parking upon arrival. That's the only good thing I found. When I walked in, it initially took quite a while before I was helped, and then I was helped by (I think) the owner. Who, by the way, wasn't friendly. The interior doesn't look like a dump, in my opinion. The food was tough, there were flies on it, and it all looked really unappetizing. The staff wasn't exactly happy either. There's also a really strange atmosphere there, in my opinion. In short, I'll never go back here and I don't recommend it to anyone!

The thing that immediately struck me here was that the "Grill Master" seemed to be into everything except his job. The food was poor to mediocre, and I personally don't understand the high reviews. The background music didn't exactly create an atmosphere either. If you like grilled chicken breast and won't eat anything else, then it might just be worth the €29.50.

We've been coming here for a long time, and every time the food is delicious and the atmosphere is friendly. The great thing is that if something isn't quite to your liking, you can simply let us know. It's immediately taken care of and freshly prepared. You don't see that everywhere, but here we do, and we really appreciate it. Many people are quick to leave a bad review, often without bothering to say anything on the spot. In our experience, you always get good service if you report it in a normal way. We've also noticed that everything is neat and tidy at the start of the evening, but some guests make a mess as the evening progresses. And sometimes you even hear people suddenly complain about the food while paying, even though they just mentioned how delicious their meal was. It's a shame, because that doesn't do the restaurant justice. All in all: a good restaurant at a very low price. If you stay polite and friendly, everything is perfectly taken care of. If you speak to the owner, you can be sure that everything will be just as you want it. Highly recommended! James

Well, what can we say about this? The place looks like a Van der Valk from the 80s. Zero atmosphere, nobody smiles. The staff is working themselves to the bone, and the big boss stands there like he's half dead. It feels like you've landed in a retirement home anyway. But on the other hand: for €40 you get two hours of unlimited food and drinks. And that includes wine. And the food really isn't bad. Especially the grilled items are more than okay. The steak is better than in many restaurants. The salmon and Jambon Iberico are also absolutely fine. The dessert buffet is also yummy. So then we have a situation where the price/quality ratio is better than 80% of restaurants, but it's spoiled by the atmosphere and service. So, I'm torn: 3 or 4 stars? In the end, I gave it 4 stars, partly because of the large parking lot and the opportunity to walk nearby.

Disappointing experience at Bouvigne Paradijs – not to be repeated We arrived at the restaurant around 6:15 PM and were completely left to our own devices. A staff member vaguely pointed in the direction of our table, without any guidance. After that, it took a very long time to even find someone for drinks – we eventually had to call someone ourselves. Later in the evening, I ended up ordering and getting drinks myself, as service was apparently not a priority. The food was also quite disappointing. The sushi was gone by 6:30 PM, and when we asked if it would be refilled, we were simply told, "It's gone." The grill (grill) was initially fine, but as the evening progressed, the chef became increasingly unfriendly. At one point, we were even served a raw lamb chop. The other food was limited: a standard Chinese buffet with a few decent dishes, but nothing special. The restrooms were also substandard. The women's area had no towels available, and the men's area had a broken urinal, while the rest were downright filthy. What was particularly noticeable: there was a clear staff shortage. If you can't handle the crowds, allow fewer people in. This way, the guests present get a better experience and are more likely to return. Unfortunately, the exact opposite is happening now. As a compensation, we were not charged for one person at checkout, which is a good thing. But if the overall experience had been better, we would definitely have returned – now that's out of the question.

I've been to this restaurant many times in the past and always enjoyed my meal there. Unfortunately, my last visit was a huge disappointment. Upon arrival, we were served by an unfriendly employee. He seemed a bit confused, as if he were under the influence. The food was terrible: tasteless and simply not good. The dessert included pieces of stale cake that should have been soft. My sister and I could barely chew them – they were so hard and old. Because the experience was so disappointing, we decided to leave early. When we paid, we were again served by the same employee. He didn't even ask if everything was to our liking and seemed completely distracted. He even told someone else he was "exhausted" and had no energy left. I found this very unprofessional, especially considering that customers pay a lot for a pleasant evening. I also noticed that there are far too few staff members. Nowadays, you have to wait a long time for your drinks. Before, you were treated to a warm, damp towel to clean your hands afterward – now, you're barely looked at. It's a shame, because this restaurant used to be fantastic. But I won't be returning anytime soon.

The staff were unfriendly, except for one kind man who came to apologize for the rude behavior. The food was lukewarm, tasteless, and had little selection. There were even ants on the table! We had booked a drinks package, and no one came for drinks during the first hour. After asking at the counter if someone could come (because the drinks package was for two hours), I was told to sit down, a colleague would come with a sigh. We were given a table number and had to find the table ourselves. We wanted to get sushi at 7:30 PM, but it was no longer being made, while the kitchen was open until 9:00 PM. We had to finish the crème brûlée dessert ourselves with a blowtorch 🙈. The staff was not friendly and did not radiate anything. All the name tags of the food were with the wrong product. There was also a black bug in my food and there were flies that could easily get in through the open patio doors. This restaurant has seen better times but is certainly not recommended anymore.

As soon as we entered it was already VERY HOT! Staff is very unfriendly. I got a still coke. When I went to get one I saw that they had already poured the coke into a glass that then had to wait for some time to be picked up. Some dishes were super salty and others were very bland. There were flies on the sushi so we skipped that. The ice cream and fruit were somewhat good but not perfect. Creme brulee was like snot. When we spoke to the nanager about it we got a blunt short response. We and several other people noticed that the waiter simply says to guests 'you have to find your own table, we are busy'. And then he goes behind the bar on the phone. TERRIBLE!

We were with a group who had been here before and were enthusiastic about this restaurant. Nice location, spacious places. Furthermore a number of negative points: advertising with a nice play area for children and then it is 'already' closed upon arrival. Very bad. Buffet did not look fresh, there were flies on it. And also the plates did not match the dishes. Little effort to make this correct due to allergies etc. Furthermore I found it very annoying that someone was already panting behind you to take your plate away while you had hardly finished eating. Stack the plates yourself and give them to them and away they went. No, not a customer-friendly restaurant for me. I would not go back here. And I prefer not to give negative reviews but this really offers room for improvement. Nice location so make sure you keep the customers satisfied and offer what you promise.

Super slechte service. Dat begint bij niemand aan de balie/receptie. Als er dan eindelijk iemand komt krijg je een kaartje mee met tafelnummer en ga maar lekker op zoek naar waar je moet zitten (niemand die je begeleid), geen uitleg over hun concept of arrangementen. Bij afhalen gebruikte borden laten ze gewoon de kar met vuile vaat en emmer ‘afval’ bij je tafel staan terwijl ze even elders een drank bestelling op gaan nemen. En ook bij vertrek moesten we bijna 5 minuten wachten totdat er iemand kwam (bij de receptie) om advies rekenen. Als je niet voldoende of geen goed personeel kan vinden hou dan gewoon je deuren dicht! Het vers bereide vlees was lekker (wel op tijd aangeven dat je het niet helemaal doorbakken en droog wilt hebben), maar de rest is kwalitatief ook ondermaats. En veel (bijna) lege schalen die niet worden aangevuld. En als er wel wat wordt aangevuld komt er een gestresste dame met een kar met schalen in noodzaakt aanlopen, duwt alle klanten gewoon aan de kant of rijdt tegen ze aan, om maar schalen weg te kunnen zetten. En het is nu ook weer niet zo ontzettend goedkoop dat je niet teveel mag verwachten. Wij komen hier in ieder geval nooit meer terug en raden het anderen ook niet aan.

The food is cold, dirty, tasteless, inedible, poor quality, no drinks, nothing, small place, not much choice, it is not indicated what is halal or not and if you ask, I don't know, they say. Owner was not friendly/hospitable, I think that should not be possible, that is very decisive for the atmosphere. A nice waitress who came to bring the drinks and collect the plates. The food was downright bad, soup kitchen quality. Tried a few things but left after an hour disappointed and with a bad feeling in our stomach.

I wanted to write this review because I am super satisfied with everything.. I have now eaten here 5 times in 3 years, of which 3 times this year. I do not understand all the other negative reviews. Because I thought everything was great. I had a delicious meal, the staff was friendly, the owner is a quiet Chinese man who always seems nice/calm to me and is neat. I have never been sick after eating. All the food tasted good and well cooked. I thought the drinks were very cheap compared to what you pay in the catering industry these days. For 4 drinks of soft drinks with ice cubes we paid €13.50. An unlimited drinks arrangement was €11.50. I was allowed to eat for 2 hours via social.deal for the food €25 p.p. Not counting a possible discount of €2.50 from.social Deal! The food is really delicious and familiar to what most Dutch people know and like! Keep it up! I will definitely come back! Thanks for the great experiences and successful evenings!

Vanavond wat later gaan eten bij Bouvigne in Breda. Bij binnenkomst werd al benoemd dat we laat waren, het was 19:15u en dat de keuken maar tot 21 uur open was. Prima voor ons. Echter werd om 20:15u al een deel van het eten weggehaald en toen we dit navroegen bleek de bediening geen Nederlands te spreken en begon direct te snauwen. De baas kwam daarna wel rustig uitleg geven. Later, rond 20:30u wilde mijn zoon nog iets laten bakken en kreeg met een snauw te horen dat de plaat al schoongemaakt was. Met veel chagrijn werd er nog iets klaargemaakt. Het eten was op zich redelijk, maar als je ergens niet heen moet voor klantvriendelijke benadering, is het hier wel. Toen we dit melden bij het afrekenen aan de baas, luisterde hij, maar was niet van plan om er iets mee te doen. Slechte service en onvriendelijk personeel. Een absolute afrader voor een gezellige avond. Wij gaan hier nooit meer heen. Als je betaald om 2 uur te mogen eten, mag je verwachten dat je dat ook kunt, maar hier stoppen ze zelf als ze zin hebben. En hier had duidelijk niemand zin om gastvrij of vriendelijk de klanten te helpen.

We went to Bouvinge Paradijs, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. The food itself was okay, but certainly not special or tasty enough to come back again. What really ruined it was the bad service. The staff seemed disinterested and didn't seem to want to be there at all. We weren't greeted when we entered, and the staff made no effort to be friendly or helpful. If you ask a question, you get a short and unfriendly answer, as if you were disturbing them. We had called in advance, and then we got a man on the phone (probably the owner). He was downright rude and rude. Actually, we should have known then that this wasn't a good idea, but we decided to give it a try anyway. We regretted it afterwards. It was also noticeable that the men's toilet was out of order. It looked like it had been like that for a while, which is not exactly nice for a restaurant. That should just be fine. Bouvinge Paradijs is not a nice place to eat. You don't feel welcome, the atmosphere is bad and the staff doesn't seem to care. A waste of your money and time. In short: save yourself the trouble and go somewhere where you are treated like a human being, not a nuisance. Unless you like being treated like a dog - then you're in the right place. Fix your business, Bouvinge Paradijs.

Disappointing experience The food at Bouvigne Paradijs was fine, but unfortunately that's where the positives ended. The service was downright bad: unfriendly, disinterested and far from hospitable. Upon entering we were barely greeted, which made us feel completely unwelcome. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very unpleasant and cold, which made the whole experience even more unpleasant. All in all, not a place I would return to.

We visited this restaurant many times years ago. There was still energy in the business at that time. Today on a Wednesday evening the place was half full and the cold buffet was not very inviting. My son saw a fly on the sushi and subsequently did not want to taste anything from this buffet. The dishes on the plate are fine. On previous visits, the quality of the buffet was higher and there were more waiters. We were also in a room where part of the walkway towards the buffet was blocked by several walkers. Where it used to be really wonderful, this is now unfortunately far from the truth. The tomato soup smelled like onion soup, the poffertjes were greasy, the food was downright not tasty. I can't name one dish that was tasty. Staff not friendly and the atmosphere is downright unpleasant. Unfortunately for us, it is a faded glory and not worth repeating. In de aardbeien zaten beestjes, als je bij het afrekenen dat nog eens meld(serveerster al ingelicht) komt de eigenaar erbij en maakt die tot 3x toe de opmerking " dat is een natuurproduct, dat is normaal " waarop ik herhaal " in de aardbeien " en dan zegt m nog "als je die wast zijn ze naar de klot**", ik heb m 2x gezegd dat m heel fout reageerde. de rest van het eten zeker geen wouw en het grootste deel van het personeel spreekt amper Nederlands. 1x en nooit meer, blijf er weg als je als klant serieus genomen wil worden!

Before a performance at the Chassé Theater, we dined in the theater's brasserie. They offer a three-course menu, with a choice of three different dishes for each course. The menu is priced under €40, offering truly excellent value for money. The atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful, and the restaurant looks elegant and stylish. We were served by enthusiastic, young, and friendly staff. As an aperitif, we started with a particularly delicious sparkling wine. The dishes were surprisingly good for a theater restaurant: pure, simple, and above all, delicious. It all made for a perfect start to a wonderful evening at the theater. Reservations are recommended!

I had booked high tea well in advance to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday with her... One day before, my reservation was canceled because the new owner had other plans and wasn't going to continue with this concept! If this is the service they'll be offering at the new restaurant, things aren't looking good. Luckily, I was able to arrange something else, but the service was terrible! This was my last time at this place.
