We had a wonderful meal in a great atmosphere. Crijns accommodated our large group perfectly by seating us slightly apart (no noise disturbance, etc.). And yet, we were able to enjoy our aperitif outside. A wonderful experience.

Mark and Imke know how to make you feel at home. The atmospheric restaurant, the excellent food, and the attentive service—everything is designed to make for a relaxing evening of enjoyment. Valentine's Day was no different. Delicious food, surprising flavors, and a pleasant atmosphere.

Beautifully presented plates with delicious flavor combinations. A wide selection of cheeses. Lovely setting. Friendly staff. A suggestion: Serving something sweet with coffee or tea would be a plus.

Om ons 4 jarig huwelijk te vieren hebben we gegeten bij Crijns. We hebben een geweldige avond beleefd. 7-gangen en elke gang was een plaatje en een verassing voor onze smaakpapillen. Afgesloten met een bijzonder kaasplankje, ook voortreffelijk. Vriendelijke en deskundige gasrltheer en gastvrouw en dat geldt ook voor de bediening. Kortom een aanrader voor iedereen en voor ons voor herhaling vatbaar.

For a group of 6 people we organized a dinner at home. 2 amuses, starter, soup and a main course. For the last course we walked to Crijns for a delicious cheese board. Everyone was allowed to pass on their taste and received a nice diverse board. Great, expert advice from owner and cheese lover Marc. A delicious port from their own Brainport completes it. Due to the weather we sat in the cozy garden. We will definitely do this again.

After a warm welcome we sat with 7 in the back of the restaurant, We chose the 4 flavors menu with matching wines. What a wonderful treat with extensive explanation of the dishes, very friendly service and delicious wines! For dessert, part of our group chose the cheese, which is an experience in itself when chef Marc takes you to the cheese room, a delicious port makes it complete. Absolutely recommended! The total concept is right and you can taste the passion of Marc and Imke in the dishes and notice it in the friendliness! We will definitely come back!

Very nice restaurant. The last time we were with a large group and we got a large table at the back of the restaurant. A round/oval table that is very pleasant for conversations. The food was also very tasty, from snacks to dessert. Finally, the service was very pleasant and hospitable. Definitely worth repeating.

Hospitality is top notch from arrival to departure. This is as it should be. Park on the restaurant's own grounds and you will be welcomed with an open door. A very warm welcome and Marc is genuinely happy to have you back. Beautifully set round tables. We can be brief about the 7-course dinner: fantastic. A detailed explanation of each course and, if desired, a delicious glass of wine. The Dutch cheeses with a glass of 'brainport' are highly recommended. A compliment is due for the service. Imke and Marc have the right people around them who have been expertly trained. We have enjoyed coming back here for many years.

Yesterday we visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate Valentine's Day, and we don't regret it! A cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and, most importantly, delicious food. As a vegetarian, I always pay attention to the availability of suitable dishes, and here a special menu was provided for me – a big plus! The absolute gem of this place is the cheese board, where you can choose the cheeses you want to taste. A unique experience! The only minor downside for me personally was the duration of the dinner: 5 hours for 6 courses felt a bit long. But for lovers of extensive gastronomic evenings, this is probably an advantage. Overall everything was great! Thank you very much to the restaurant for a wonderful evening. We will definitely come back!

A very nice experience. We had the 6 course meal and was overly full at the end. The food was delicious and our server was also amazing. If you come here I strongly suggest that you buy some picallily mustard. It is our favourite mustard and is absolutely amazing.

Top restaurant! One of the better ones I've been to in this price category. As a vegetarian I can say that this restaurant stands out above many. A friendly welcome from Marc upon arrival. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with comfortable seating. You choose between 3-7 courses with the option for a cheese menu. All dishes we got were very flavorful and delicious. Marc served a number of dishes himself and took the time to explain the dishes. For a few euros extra you can exchange the sweet dessert for a cheese board. We were taken through to the cheese room where he had dozens of cheeses in stock. Here too he took the time to provide information about the origin and taste of the cheeses. Highly recommended for a special evening of dining!

Enjoyed a special port menu. The ports were from the house Quinta da Boeira with a nice variety and ended with a port perfume sprayed into your mouth by the chef. Very special and enjoyed the beautiful dishes.

We had a delicious meal again last night to end our holiday for our 50th wedding anniversary. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Very tasty dishes, waiters know their trade. The hostess keeps a close eye on everything and nothing escapes her attention. There were 2 of us and unfortunately there was a noisy group without manners and rude to staff. Worst was the person responsible for the group. a macho boss was the worst. Had to assert himself and show off his business and merits. But the staff resolved it well and discreetly called him to order. Top!

Food was superb. Serving between courses took a bit long, but otherwise everything was great.

Because we celebrated our wedding here 28 years ago (then still De Impressionist), we went to Crijns for dinner on our wedding day, but it never happened before! We had a wonderful evening, ate in the garden and enjoyed the beautiful dishes, delicious wine and friendly service! The dishes were all works of art on a plate, it's just a shame that we couldn't see the last 2 courses due to too little light. We had to 'explain' this with our phone. Nice to be back here again and to see that the location is still so attractive, recognizable from 28 years ago but stylishly adapted.

Speciale gelegenheid, 50 jaar. Gekozen voor de 7 proeverijen. Geweldige combinaties van smaken, fijn op elkaar afgestemd en opgemaakt als schilderijtjes op de bord. Een mooie selectie van wijnen die de gerechten begeleiden. Enthousiaste en vriendelijke bediening, goede advisering. Ook met speciale (dieet)wensen werd vol rekening gehouden en zonder ook maar enig compromis is de smaak beleving toegepast. Kortom een geweldige belevenis om op terug te kijken. Voor ons ook een ontdekking van een restaurant om vaker op terug te kijken. Complimenten aan de eigenaren, de bediening en de keuken brigade. Het was top!

Another hidden gem. Really 'eating out', unpacking presents, as we call it, at a, thank God, still reasonably affordable price. And we are spoiled! 2 x appetizers plus bread and 4 courses were certainly sufficient for us. We hebben gekozen voor een 6 gangen diner inclusief een wijnarrangement. De gerechten waren heerlijk met verassende combinaties. De bediening was vriendelijk en gaven ons persoonlijke aandacht door een goede uitleg te geven bij ieder gerecht en de wijnen. We sloten onze avond af in de kaaskamer waar we konden kiezen uit diverse kazen. Het was een avondvullend programma waar we ontzettend van hebben genoten. Het is echt een aanrader!
