We ate at Christmas... the food was pretty standard, like the regular menu, only with fewer choices. Upon entering, it was a mess at the entrance, with lots of people piled up, complete groups coming in... it was cold outside, so the door constantly being open wasn't very pleasant. The staff were walking around in baggy pants and un-ironed sweaters... no "Christmas atmosphere" at all, which was a shame. Immediately at the table, they asked us what time the bill would arrive and what time we had to leave for the next "round." Of course, we understand that, but it's partly the way it's presented. Most dishes were pre-prepared and arrived quickly... There wasn't much choice for dessert. The food was adequate! The atmosphere and experience could have been better. A bare Christmas tree 🌲 and baggy pants (shirts that were too short, showing bare backs) are not my Christmas experience... a shame, we'd rather come back without a holiday.

We went on Christmas Day with the children and grandchildren. The food was delicious and there was a good selection on the menu. It was also a hit with my daughter, who is a vegetarian. The grandchildren also had a great time and loved the play area. They even got a fun coloring page on the table to keep them entertained. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for the main course because the kitchen couldn't handle it. They apologized for that. Nevertheless, it was a successful Christmas dinner and definitely worth repeating!

Let me start with what was good: the food was delicious. We arrived about 20 minutes early for our 7:00 PM reservation. Upon arrival, we were asked to wait outside because otherwise it would "get too crowded inside," even though it was -2 degrees Celsius outside and the temperature felt like -10 degrees Celsius, and we weren't exactly the youngest guests anymore. What made this even more galling: after about 10 minutes, everyone was finally let in—even guests with a 7:00 PM reservation, like us. After the appetizer, we then had a long wait for the main course. I don't normally write bad reviews. If it had only been about the long wait, I wouldn't have done so. But making people wait in this cold is truly poor service. It's a shame, because the chefs clearly did their best.

We enjoyed the delicious three-course meal, and it was great that it's a child-friendly restaurant. Our daughter had plenty of fun playing between meals and also enjoyed the children's menu.

Ate there on November 21st, a table for 3 people. The social deal wasn't social. I paid €77 and could have paid an additional €44.50 for potatoes, salad, and a drink. The salad wasn't anything special either, and the staff was only busy picking up and dropping off. I'll never do a social deal again, but I do eat out in Germany.

Food, service, atmosphere, everything was absolutely top notch.

First time at this location. We were served quickly, but the first two courses came very quickly one after the other. I asked if the chicken satay was made with chicken breast or chicken thigh. They said chicken breast after the waiter inquired, but I doubt that was actually the case. What I found annoying was that I was joking around in the kitchen about chicken breast or chicken thigh. (We were sitting close to the kitchen.) We also saw that gloves were not being worn during certain tasks. One woman practically scooped up the fries with her long nails, which we found quite unappetizing. The decor is fantastic!

We had a great meal, but it's a shame that at 9pm you get the feeling you have to leave the place because they're just going to start cleaning and vacuuming.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy, thanks in part to the Christmas decorations, and the staff were proactive and professional. All in all, it was a pleasant visit, and I would definitely dine there again in the future.

We'd never eaten there before, but we made a reservation after visiting Amphion with the Kruitvat offer. After the appetizer, the wait for the main course was long, but we had plenty of time. The food was delicious and we'll definitely be back.

I was in a hurry and ordered a sandwich (uitsmijter). Oh, what a disaster. The sandwich I ordered was the cheapest and cost €10. Just two slices of bread without butter and three eggs. Nothing more. That was it. Only one euro worth of "ingredients" and then paying €10 for it. What a disgrace...

Right on a town square near a church, great outdoor seating. Food options are limited. Traditional Dutch croquettes on white toast and fried eggs and ham on toast. Tasty but pricy, and no butter served with the bread.

The croquettes with bread were still good, but there was no butter. The fried egg sandwich was rather meager, with three strips of bacon for an extra €1.50.

The starter was fine, everyone enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the main course was less appealing. When another table started complaining about the food, I believe this large group even left without paying because of the poor quality of the food. The manager didn't resolve this properly, and that spoiled the atmosphere in the restaurant.

Lovely terrace in the sun for coffee and apple pie. It's also a neat place inside. A familiar concept, always friendly and atmospheric.

We had dinner here in Doetinchem in the evening. (Not a busy evening) After waiting more than 20 minutes for someone to ask what we wanted to eat, I ordered everything and then only received sauce without anything else. Then I had to eat alone because the staff realized 20 minutes after I had my food that my companion hadn't received any. Because they only came after 20 minutes to ask what had been forgotten, we had to wait at least another 40 minutes (then they stopped keeping track) for a simple "plain" schnitzel to be ready. In short: the service was poor, the food was disappointing, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone. You have to give at least one star here; they certainly don't deserve it!

Delicious food, we were welcomed friendly and were allowed to choose where we sat. Definitely worth repeating. Despite the somewhat loud music that was noticeable upon entering, you hardly noticed it later. We enjoyed it.

Excellent service from a great host and hostess. Food good, but not exceptional. Interior nice, but not exceptional. In a very nice location. The whole thing seems to lack a bit of heart. It's not because of the staff, but the whole thing lacks some soul, atmosphere, or something like that. I still have the feeling of a luxury cafeteria. Super cozy place. Good quality food and drinks. Only staff is slow, stressed and inefficient. Tray with drinks ready to be taken away takes 15 minutes before it actually arrives at the table. Ordering is difficult because there is little at the table. Apart from this point, I am satisfied.

It was very busy on Friday, May 2, but the HRT team kept a cool head and remained polite and nice to customers and each other! Last Saturday (26-04-25) on King's Day, we had dinner here with a group of 8 people. Starter chosen in my case was the carpaccio, it arrived quickly and tasted great! However, things went wrong afterwards, I ordered a steak that arrived more than 10 minutes later than the one my fellow table enjoyed. For the fact that the steak costs more than €36, I certainly didn't think it was worth it, it was partly black, I ordered it medium rare. This was not entirely the case, it was a tough piece of meat🥲 Then we arrived at dessert, which also arrived fairly quickly, so quickly that the main course plates had not yet been removed from the tables. In the restaurant I also found a mess of napkins and other things on the floor, the staff walked past them and stepped over them and didn't see anything... All in all, you won't see me there again anytime soon and I didn't think it was worth my money.

The quality has deteriorated here. Have eaten here many times before. But the last 2 times really not as nice as before. The food was fine, even less than before. We sat all evening and were not asked once if we wanted something to drink. Please report this to the manager. We look at you a bit strangely and ask if we want something to drink before we pay. Been here a few times a while ago. Unfortunately, this was disappointing every time. I tried again today, but unfortunately it was disappointing again. The dish was missing 2 ingredients. We had two coffees and a ginger tea. Coffee was fine, but the ginger tea had 5 small slices of ginger. We asked for tap water and were given bottled water and charged. The kroketten were also a small portion. Not good value.

Today I had a goat cheese sandwich with honey mustard sauce, without bacon. The sandwich was delicious, also had some lettuce and tomato in it. I just thought it was a bit small for a lunch, a bit bare on the plate, just the sandwich, nothing else. Very nice help from the staff. Forgot to take a photo of the sign. My husband opted for bread with croquettes, which was certainly more than enough, and also some onions that had been pickled next to the bread.

I regularly come here for coffee and cake and for lunch. Very cozy and atmospheric restaurant. Good coffee with a small glass of liqueur with whipped cream. Nice lunch menu, friendly service. You can also have drinks and dinner here, but I haven't done that yet.

We had a delicious meal in a very nice spot in the restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Our 2nd visit to Beren in a week (different branches) but once again perfectly cared for. Definitely recommended and also this branch.

We had a good and enjoyable meal with them tonight. Nora helped us quickly and friendly. The starter, main course and dessert were served at nice intervals. The satay and the apple crumble are highly recommended! We really enjoyed it and will definitely come back!
