I ordered fish and chips last year. The fish was frozen from a package, still half on my plate. The fries weren't even cooked. We paid promptly and will never return, even though I live a five-minute drive away. I can make Sligro food at home too. Nothing fresh, everything frozen.

The restaurant is located in a building that once housed a brewery. The copper brewing kettles are still there. The building is beautiful and meticulously renovated, including beautiful arched windows. It's cozy and warmly decorated. There's also an outdoor terrace. The service is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and served on beautifully presented plates. Dogs are welcome; there's even a dog menu on the menu. In short, highly recommended!

A fantastic end to a lovely weekend in Zeeland. Perfect for families with young children. Our son had a blast in the large playground surrounding the outdoor patio, and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves.

Unfortunately, I can only comment on the service. It's an absolute disgrace. I've never been turned away so arrogantly. Apparently, there were no more seats available without a reservation. It's strange, considering that a family right in front of us, who were obviously from the Netherlands, got a table without any problems. Something like that has never happened to me in the Netherlands before. It's a shame and sad.

We ate here on our last night of vacation. From the road, you can see the playground and the beautiful building. We arrived a little late but received a very friendly welcome. Ordering our drinks and food took a while, but it was very busy. We were comfortable, and our son was playing, so it was fine. We ordered salmon, the famous chicken, and a kids' menu for our son. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was great. The next time we're in Zeeland, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended for families with kids!

We recently dined here. The food itself was fine and the restaurant looked cozy, but unfortunately, the atmosphere was seriously spoiled by a particularly unfriendly woman. From the moment we walked in, she seemed anything but welcoming: curt answers, no smile, and an attitude as if we were bothering her. Her behavior created a negative atmosphere throughout the evening, which was a shame, as it could have been a pleasant experience. The rest of the staff did their best, but that one negative attitude stuck with us. It's a shame, because the food was good, but hospitality is just as important to us.

We wanted to have a nice dinner here. The restaurant looked charming, but that was the only positive. Upon entering, we were completely ignored—no greeting, no eye contact whatsoever. After a long wait, someone finally came over to "check if there was room." Meanwhile, the entire restaurant was empty. To our surprise, we were then rudely told they were "sold out." Without knowing if we were Dutch, she also snapped this in German ("ausverkauft"), which only reinforced the aloofness and unfriendliness. It felt like they simply didn't want to welcome new guests. The woman (apparently the owner or manager) made it clear that no new customers were welcome at 7:45 PM, even though they wouldn't be closing until 9:00 PM. This, despite us being with small children and definitely not staying long. Unfriendly, unprofessional, and completely unwelcoming. They will never see us again.

The perfect spot for parents and children! After receiving a tip, we went to the Brewery for our first visit with our five-year-old granddaughter. It was a huge success; we had a great meal, and the playground was irresistible! Great service and very reasonable prices. In short, we had a wonderful time and would love to come back!

We spent an evening at De Brouwerij. It has a beautiful location, decor, and patio. Plenty of parking. It's also incredibly child-friendly, with playground equipment and a large grassy area. The menu is well-organized, and the food was excellent. The staff was friendly, but I didn't find them particularly experienced. There were mistakes with taking orders, plates being taken away while people at the table were still eating, items being forgotten, a long wait for the menu, and multiple people asking the same question. It all made it look a bit chaotic. Despite the limited selection, the food took quite a while to arrive. Otherwise, it tasted good. It was striking that the two bouncy castles suddenly went off. It seemed like they were on a timer. However, there were still children on them, causing a startled reaction among both the children and their parents. It was completely illogical and unnecessary, as it's a real treat for kids to be outside. In short, a nice place, excellent food, and an excellent atmosphere. The service could be better compared to other restaurants.

A really nice place to eat with the kids. While we waited for our food, the children could play on the many playground equipment and bouncy castles. The food was also very tasty. The chicken is especially recommended. We went back three more times while traveling in Zeeland. One small point for improvement: some of the playground equipment had minor defects that need to be repaired. Children could hurt themselves if this isn't addressed.

We had a delicious and very relaxed meal here today. The service was attentive, there was a good daily special, and everyone went home well-fed and very satisfied. We sat on the terrace because of the nice weather (our daughter had fun on the bouncy castle) – but the interior also looks very stylish and has a very well-designed ambiance.

We were so looking forward to it, having made reservations in advance, but unfortunately, we were disappointed. We had to wait a very long time for our food; they forgot about us. After they got to us, we had to wait another half hour, even though they told us they had a very fast cook. They came to us to ask if we wanted anything to drink, and I said, "I'd actually like to pay because we've been waiting for over 45 minutes for our food, 'I'm going to see where it is right now.' And sure enough, it arrived within three minutes. But the food was lukewarm, so it was probably forgotten again. We ate it, but we certainly wouldn't eat it again. No apology, nothing. It's a real shame, as it's a beautiful location.

A great restaurant with fair prices and very fast and attentive service. They offer a good selection of regional and national craft beers, and in summer, there's a huge range of games for children in the garden.

We had a wonderful dinner this evening with our two children. We made a spontaneous reservation by phone and managed to get a table outside. It was quite busy, but the service was very prompt, friendly, and attentive. The salmon fillet and truffle pasta were delicious and well worth the price. Our children enjoyed the children's pasta and the homemade chicken nuggets. My wife and I accompanied our dinner with beers from the Belgian Scheldebrouwerij, which we also thoroughly enjoyed. Meanwhile, our children made extensive use of the adjacent play area with bouncy castles, a trampoline, swings, and much more—a highlight for families. Overall, a very successful evening. I would happily recommend the restaurant.

The beautiful terrace borders what is probably the largest playground in all of Kamperland. There's something for every child of every age on the huge lawn. All the staff are super friendly – this applies to guests, but also to dogs. You'll immediately be provided with a drinking bowl, and if you'd like, there are even dog-friendly dishes on the menu. The best part, though, is the outstanding food! Whether it's fish, meat, pasta, appetizer, or dessert – everything tastes amazing! You can also easily reserve a table online. We visited twice this holiday (each time with two dogs and our young son) and will now combine every holiday in Zeeland with at least one visit to the brewery! We couldn't recommend it more highly – it's a truly fantastic restaurant!

The food is usually very good. The last steak, however, was quite tough. The service is sometimes friendly, sometimes a bit brusque. Plenty of play options for small children. Currently, we're only accepting reservations for outside seating. The inside is closed.

Great Service, great Food and a great selection of beer!

We visited the brewery in Kamperland today – with mixed impressions. The first impression was quite positive: We received very polite service, our dog was welcome, and the atmosphere is really nice – especially for families with children (play area, etc.). The appetizers were okay, not outstanding, but acceptable. The dessert, especially the crème brûlée, was truly delicious. Unfortunately, the main course – a dish labeled "truffle pasta" for a whopping €25 – was absolutely disappointing. The pasta was overcooked, and instead of fresh truffle, there was only truffle pesto, no trace of truffle pieces, but plenty of mushrooms. The whole thing was garnished with Gouda, which neither tastefully nor culinary-wise complemented the pasta. We returned almost the entire dish – it was simply inedible. We were all the more surprised to find it on the bill anyway. Unfortunately, the manager's response to our polite inquiry was completely unprofessional. His previously friendly demeanor disappeared immediately: He told us that if we didn't like the food, it was our problem. No concessions, no offer – instead, he insisted on full payment. We left the restaurant hungry, disappointed, and with a very bad feeling. It's a real shame, because the place had a lot of potential. Conclusion: Due to the way criticism was handled and the lack of goodwill, we won't be returning and unfortunately cannot recommend the brewery. Flexibility should be a given in the restaurant industry – and the guest matters.

Great, spontaneous service. More than enough food, even for big eaters. It was a beautiful sight, watching the plates being presented and filled. It tasted so good, we really enjoyed the food. Definitely recommended, and there's plenty of space outside for children.

Friendly, highly skilled service. Many gluten-free options. (You do have to ask, though. Allergens aren't always listed on the menu.) They genuinely take food allergies into account, and with a smile.

A wonderful location for young and old. Families will definitely enjoy themselves here, as there's a truly inviting and spacious play area. The food is excellent; we had the honey-glazed meat and salmon, as well as a starter with bread and dip and a kids' meal. We had a wonderful time together! The people are friendly and enthusiastic, the restaurant is beautiful, and the food is delicious. We felt welcome from the start. Tom was very helpful and listened to our wishes. Everything was possible. That was the deciding factor for us. You're not stuck with a standard package, but you can really choose something that suits your needs. They also catered well to dietary requirements and provided some vegan dishes. Because it's also an official wedding venue, we were able to have the ceremony outside on the terrace. We loved that! Afterward, we cut the cake. They presented it beautifully! I think the photos speak for themselves. There's ample parking for guests, there's play equipment for children, and in sunny weather, the terrace is a great place to relax. So, are you still looking for a great wedding venue in Zeeland? Then we definitely recommend Restaurant De Brouwerij!

Yesterday we went to the Brouwerij to eat (1x bread board as a starter, 2x salmon main course and 1x children's pasta with cheese). We had to wait a very long time for our main course. A large group that came after us had their food faster than we had ours... After politely asking where our main course was, the blonde waitress who works there came to speak to us in a snappy voice and told us in a rather bitchy way that this was really due to the bread that we had ordered in advance. According to her, there were still more than 200 people eating... (not our problem... that they can't handle this... I think). The salmon was very meager, for the price you pay for it... Even baked a bit dark... The children's pasta with cheese was downright scandalous!!! Dry pasta without sauce with a handful of cheese. Our son ate two bites and then didn't want any more. Of course it had no taste… You wouldn’t even give this food to a dog… While I was still eating, the table was cleared and a plate was put on my own plate by one of the student assistants/waitresses. So when paying, I deliberately didn’t give a tip. I heard the staff behind me chatting with each other, laughing at me/making jokes among themselves and even making fun of me. Very unfriendly and even rude staff! So we will definitely never come back here and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone! PS. That blonde waitress is really showing her face! I just ran into her at the parking lot at Albert Heijn… The lady spoke to me… “Thanks for the nice review! Nice to meet you.” What a pathetic lady… Very unprofessional, what a joke!

Yesterday we had dinner at Restaurant De Brouwerij and honestly? It felt like we had accidentally booked a five-star holiday, but without the suitcases. Fast service? Within five minutes our drinks were on the table and within ten minutes the food. My stomach barely had time to complain, it all went so smoothly. If they need a Formula 1 team at the pit stop, call this service! Friendly service? As if they had walked straight out of a Disney film. Smiles from ear to ear, attention to detail, and even the children were addressed as if they were VIP guests The steak? Perfectly cooked. Tender, juicy, and so tasty that I was speechless for a moment - and believe me, that doesn't happen often. As if the cow itself had undergone gastronomic training. And then... the chef! Not only was the food delicious, but the chef himself came to the table for a chat. What a great guy! Fun, enthusiastic, and he even had a wooden spoon in his breast pocket. You know someone takes their craft seriously when their cutlery is a fashion accessory. In short: ✅ Lightning-fast and friendly service ✅ A bouncy castle that children dream of ✅ Steak to applaud ✅ A chef who makes your visit extra special Restaurant De Brouwerij = 1 and all top! We will definitely come back (or we can just stay until tomorrow, that's also possible).

Gezellig restaurant om met kinderen te gaan eten. Er zijn diverse speeltoestellen aanwezig om de kinderen te vermaken. Zeer vriendelijke bediening en lekker eten. Het duurde misschien net iets langer maar het terras zat ook helemaal vol.

The bouncy castle for the kids is nice, but the poor service is unfortunately a nuisance. I ordered a set menu. Since the menu is difficult to read in Dutch and the waiter spoke German, I assumed my ordered fish and chips would also be included. I got an entrecote... oh well, never mind, I thought. Then it was time for dessert. The table had been cleared, but dessert took ages to arrive. Eventually I managed to speak to a young waiter, but the older one who was actually serving us ignored me since then. So I told the younger one that I would like a crème brûlée for dessert with the menu. Shortly afterwards, the younger one arrived with crème brûlée and a second dessert plate. I said I had only ordered one dessert. The younger one left, and suddenly the older one came back with the second dessert. No, the second was the dessert from the menu, and I should eat it because the crème brûlée would now be added to the bill for an additional 12 euros. I said I hadn't known that and I didn't want to eat two desserts. But NO, the gentleman wouldn't change his mind and said the crème brûlée would be charged extra. Besides the long wait and poor communication, I found this extremely rude. I was also charged extra for the fries I hadn't even ordered. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

Niet twijfelenen gewoon reserveren. We waren met een gezelschap van 9 personen. Bij binnenkomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen en netjes begeleid naar onze tafel. Heerlijk gegeten en uitstekende bediening, professioneel, vakkundig en zeer vriendelijk. Wij voelden ons erg welkom en kan het iedereen aanbevelen.

Het was een prachtig accommodatie vriendelijke mensen en zeer lekker eten. Een uitgebreide keuze op de menukaaart. Hun pasta met vis was zeer lekker.

Great restaurant. Booking the afternoon online worked really well. Good food and excellent service in the beautiful ambience of the brewery and outside in good weather. A children's playground that is very well equipped with slides, seesaws, a trampoline and 2 large bouncy castles. You can see the children very well from the tables. Prices are a little above average.
