Heerlijk gegeten! Drie gangen menu genomen. Veel vegan opties. Gezellige inrichting. Helaas werd ik onwel bij het dessert maar werd toen fantastisch geholpen en verzorgd door een medewerker waar ik helaas de naam niet van weet. We mochten ook nog zonder afrekenen naar huis. Wij komen zeker terug en hopen dan alleen maar te kunnen genieten van het heerlijke eten en het vriendelijke personeel!

Het eten is opzich heel lekker . Maar je zou verwachten dat er verschil zit tussen een 3 gangen menu voor 20 euro pp. Of je besteld de losse voor - hoofd en nagerecht voor de volle prijs . Er zit dus geen verschil in de grote van het gerecht. We kregen voor 2 personen 1 schaaltje met rijst .en voor ieder het bestelde curry en massala gerecht. En als voor gerecht sies kebab. Helaas hadden wij aan de rijst echt niet genoeg. Maar kregen ook niet meer. Erg kleine porties .extra brood kregen we ook niet ....en extra rijst ook niet ....

Indian cuisine is my favorite. So I was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in my former hometown of Lochem. I ordered takeout and quite a bit—I think eight different dishes—expecting to try everything. The staff seemed nice, but the food was unfortunately a huge disappointment; it had little to do with Indian food. It started with the naan bread, which seemed a bit bland and undercooked, even cloying—completely different from what you normally get in an Indian restaurant. All eight dishes tasted about the same and looked almost the same, too. Furthermore, the flavor bouquet you normally find in Indian cuisine was missing; it seemed as if each dish had only one flavor; all the "background flavors" were gone. The chicken was also dry. No, none of this had anything to do with Indian food.

We kwamen hier op vrijdagavond om 20.20. Binnen werd ons heel kortaf gezegd dat ze gesloten zijn. Geen sorry of hopelijk tot volgende keer. Zo ga je niet met klanten om

Heel teleurstellend, niet lekker. Alleen de samosas en de thee waren lekker, verder was het zeker geen goed Indiaas eten.

Delicious food, very tasty for a small price!

Heeeeeerlijk gegeten, verrukkelijke huisgemaakte gerechten. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Hoewel ik geen gluten en paprika eet, was er genoeg over om uit te kiezen voor het driegangenmenu. Echt een aanrader wat ons betreft!

We chose the top-notch menu because we weren't familiar with Indonesian cuisine. You'd expect a variety of dishes. Unfortunately, all the main courses tasted almost the same, and the meat was quite dry.

Picked up 4 different curries together with 2x bread, was all very tasty. Very friendly staff. With 5 adults we ate more than enough. Really great.

Ordered and picked up food. Dishes should be diverse in taste, but everything looked the same. Little crack but taste. We also tasted something sweet in everything. In short, not recommended, the food remained stuck in my stomach all evening......unfortunately I couldn't give half a star.

Deze plek is te ontraden om te gaan eten waarbij je aanpassing vraagt op bestaande menu. Geen muziek en hoor bediening kok over ons praten terwijl we 5 meter verderop zaten. Moeilijk gedaan over gerecht voor i.p.v. rund met kip. Keek raar toen we vroegen pittig was. Werd over ons gepraat bij de kassa dat we die vraag hadden gesteld. Hoorden saus oa bestond uit tomaat, ui, paprika en knoflook. En zo zag het er ook uit. Mango lassi was yoghurt smaak met siroop mango. Eten niet om aan te raden. Zagen later bij andere mensen het eten er aanzienlijk beter uitzag. Voornamelijk rund lam kip of vegetarisch . Geen vis, waren enige 2 bezoekers op dat moment in het restaurant. Prijs kwaliteit klopt werkelijk niet. Niet voor niets dat er om bediening en een kok wordt gevraagd.

I was in the Lochem area for the first time and thought to order Indian food for my husband and I this evening. I was shocked when my husband found a small pice of glass in his rund saagwala. We have never had this happen to us before and have lost total confidence in this restaurant.

Chef specials ordered for € 18.00 per dish. What we got was a bowl of watery sauce with a few pieces of meat/fish. No vegetables in sight. Very disappointing for such a price. And if this was the chef special, hire another chef very quickly.

If you think perfection doesn't exist, come here. The food is sacred, the Chicken butter is highly recommended. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is nice too. Ordered here - Zutphen - for the first time. Delivered from Lochem! Delicious food (vindaloo lamb 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️) Delivered on time and everything that was supposed to be hot was hot despite the distance.

Ate here with my partner, taste was good, slightly spicy. On the drive back to Apeldoorn my stomach started to bubble. When I got home I immediately had to go to the toilet. After a bad night, now reasonable with a cup of tea and a rusk.

When you enter, your taste buds immediately go wild, the wonderful smells come from the kitchen. We ordered different courses to taste each other's. Portions just right and very tasty. Relax tent with relaxed staff. All in all, highly recommended. Until next time .

Fantastic meal. Nice and spicy, for the enthusiasts, but also soft treats available. Friendly service and not too expensive. Served quickly too.

This is another restaurant that is not suitable for catering. Every hobby chef can do the same. The quality is not fresh at all and much instant. The price-quality ratio has therefore been skewed. The wait staff is a rejected pipo from a circus that no longer exists. Yes, serving in a restaurant is really a profession that you should not underestimate. So a shame, another failing grade for this entrepreneur.

It smells wonderful and the vegetarian deal is good, but the food all tastes a bit the same in the same yellow sauce. Shame.

I had dinner here last year. The experience was great. Therefore i decided to come back. Unfortunately the quality of food was poor. The Biryani rice was very disappointing. I must say the staff was super nice and friendly.

The lamb's texture was like rubber. Couldn't drink the chai after the first sip. Seekh kabab was okay.

Gutes indisches Essen zum guten Preis. Einfache Gestaltung, aber was auf den Teller kommt ist wirklich gut. Die Pakora waren nicht so gut, aber die warmen Gerichte wirklich gut. Es ist nicht super oder fancy, aber ein solides gutes Angebot.

I had never seen it before in the Netherlands, a restaurant serving Indian cuisine... great atmosphere and friendly staff... and also delicious authentic Indian food. I have already recommended it to my friends.

The food was okay but not much and the spicy curry was not spicy at all. Indeed Dutchized. Unfortunately, our clothes still smelled strongly of food after dinner. Very annoying if you have something else planned that evening. The next morning it still smelled strongly and everything had to be washed, including the coats. It was such a good thing in the beginning...Unfortunately this time it was terribly disappointing. We were there on Wednesday, they ran out of lamb and beef at 6 p.m. (chicken or vegetarian option) unfortunately they didn't say that at the beginning, but only when you could order. Quickly opted for vegetarian, they forgot to bring the rice. €18 for a few peas and carrots with sauce. (also the wrong dish) only thing they said, sorry is busy, can't do anything about it. So no more Indian cuisine for us.

Excellent parkerwn sometimes takes some searching

Had a nice meal here, it smells spicy upon entering, the interior is not too special but neat. Simple operation that enjoyed surprising me. Had the 3 course menu which was 20 euros. Food was tasty, not too much but certainly enough. What we did notice was the speed at which the dishes arrived, but we could have done with that a little slower. All in all a delicious meal.

A big disappointment. Food was mediocre and small portion. Had to laugh when she put my husband's entree in front of him. Service was nothing special. Not talkative either. (I know there are major staff problems in the catering industry, but still) There is no atmosphere in the restaurant. I have often eaten Indians, but this was far below par.

Had the 3 course menu. Delicious food. Portions look small, but they are certainly not, more than sufficient. Had delicious ice cream for dessert and a cup of coffee from the company. We will definitely come back.

Restaurant is located on the edge of the center. Easy to reach and parking spaces on the water. Nicely decorated, and food was delicious and very good. We sat on the terrace and later inside due to rain. Would love to come back.

Surprised when I read the positive reviews, are we talking about the same place?! I recognize myself more in the critical views and not just because the food is so strongly Dutchized. The dishes were small and lacked a deeper flavour, the rice and naan were not fresh, the dry wine just sweet. Service is impersonal and the table space is too small, perhaps all due to the crowds and understaffing of staff. The bill wasn't too bad, but we went home with mixed feelings.

We had a delicious meal at De Keuken van India for reasonable prices. The starter in particular was delicious. The dessert was a bit simpler than expected, but otherwise good. The staff is very friendly, but does not speak Dutch well, which makes communication a bit difficult. Although an effort has clearly been made to create an Inda's atmosphere, the large open space, without partitions or corners, makes it not really a cozy dining option.

Ordered via Social Deal. Reviews were good, but we didn't understand them. Probably all these people have never eaten Indian, Thai or Vietnamese. My slightly spicy soup was very bland and had no taste. Beef dish had a lot of fat and my wife's chicken was very dry. In addition, my wife will open the microwave every 5 minutes. Desert was very good. Therefore 2 stars.

The food is nowhere close to Indian. We ordered biryanis and it was sweet, can you imagine? This is not even close to authentic Indian. Everything was made sweet, god knows to please which audience when Indian food is famous for its spices. Give this place a miss and you would save a lot on time, money, experience and most importantly taste!

Delicious food, many dishes are spicy! If you don't like this then don't go. Nice smooth operation.

The food taste is fine and layered. We found the soups to be thin compared to other restaurants also in the UK. A smile is not necessary but costs nothing. Nice price with social deal, otherwise a bit on the expensive side considering that no large bottles of spring water are sold.

All the food was reheated, even the naan was not fresh. Friendly people.No advertising for Indian cuisine.

Good Indian food for a good price

My SocialDeal voucher was debited before I had eaten, so I could no longer show it at checkout and had to pay everything in full again. The food was good in terms of price-quality. The decor was unpleasant. The service does not speak or understand Dutch. In the end I did not get the money back from the restaurant, but after a lot of insistence from Social Deal I did get the purchased vouchers. Definitely not recommended, so.

Had a delicious meal today, a true taste sensation. And as a surprise, this restaurant is spicy, REALLY spicy. Friendly service, not too long a wait for the food. Choice of many dishes, we will definitely come back here.

The rice was good and that was all. Chicken Tikka starter, meat was tough and tasteless, like chewing cardboard. Rogan Josh - the same, meat was tasteless and too tough. Mango lassie sickly sweet, as though syrup had been added, no cardomen spice and I don’t think they even put yoghurt. Not at all an authentic Indian eating experience. Nan paneer hard and tasteless. That is the last time. ☹️

Had a nice meal here last night. Dishes highly seasoned and sometimes spicy. Tastes slightly different than most Indian restaurants I know, but certainly tasty too. Naan was very tasty. Portions not too big, but price also low so that in addition to the three-course menu we could order an extra portion of vegetables and it was not very overfull and still not expensive. Friendly service. If we come near Lochem again, we will probably come here again.

We all found it very mediocre here compared to other Indian restaurants where we have eaten. The alo-tikka as a starter should be puff pastry shells. However, they were 2 more spicy rösti rounds. And that for 6 euros. The onion bhajee that we know as large and crispy was also flattened and tough. We only got two of those too. The main course, the butter chicken, was a bit grainy in structure and far too sweet. Dessert was okay, but here too two very small scoops of ice cream. The service was mediocre. Other guests either had no plates or cutlery when their food was served and our food arrived in such excruciatingly quick succession. There wasn't even time to clear the table before the dessert menu was pressed into our hands. No problem for us, but communication was immediately in English. All in all, certainly not worth repeating for us. We felt there was little authenticity about this. We felt that the starters and desserts in particular came straight from the freezer.

Wat we hier voorgeschoteld kregen heeft niets met Indiaas eten te maken. Geen komijn, kardemom, kruidnagel of kurkuma geproefd, geen blaadje koriander te bekennen. Saag [spinazie] paneer moet knalgroen zijn, maar hier was het en der een sliertje spinazie in de bruine saus te zien. De kip kashmiri was mierzoet, de naans waren keihard en 10 Euro vragen voor vier pappadams is schandalig. Bij Indiaas eten horen flinke parten citroen en niet, zoals hier, een miniem schijfje. De rijst was goed en de paneer ook, maar voor aromatisch, kruidig Indiaas eten moet je niet hier zijn.

The food was really delicious! Although it wasn't much actually (personally). Neatly furnished. Staff speaks English. Furthermore, the extraction here was not well organized and the clothes smelled very bad afterwards.

Delicious food and very friendly staff. We had dinner there with four adults and two children. We all ordered something different so we could taste everything. The meals were served in beautiful bowls. Everything tasted good and we all enjoyed it. When we wanted to pay, the owner gave the children's meals as a gift! Even though we live quite a distance from Lochem, we will definitely come back here!

We had a nice meal, but our clothes smelled terribly of the smell of the food. We had to wash our clothes and jackets immediately, which was a shame, otherwise a great restaurant.

I ate a delicious vegan curry here. The service was friendly and the prices are not too high.

The food is very, very tasty. And the service good. On the day we were there with 3 adults, this location had just opened and was super busy. It took a very long time before we were served anything, but the owner apologized for this and said it would not happen again. Received coffee and a drink as a courtesy and 10 apologies. Clown Marco turned out to work as a waiter and made the evening extra special with his charm and private appearance. Highly recommended. Ate there for the 2nd time today. Super tasty again and now very busy in terms of crowds. Easy to handle due to the nice staff. And a 3-course menu for €15.00 is really not expensive. Indian beers available for €5.00, nice and special to try. It remains highly recommended!!!! And ate there on the 3rd. Being able to make a choice based on the waiter's advice. It was good advice because too spicy is not for me. Delicious!!!!

Indian food is also possible in Lochem. Great spot with parking spaces around the corner. Pleasant welcome in the somewhat bare restaurant. Extremely polite staff. The food is fine, perhaps a little less spicy than we are used to in other Indian restaurants. Prices are as usual, as are the dishes on the menu. Please note that the kitchen is semi-open and the oil smell will be absorbed into your clothes and jacket by the end of the evening. But it is worth the visit.
