We had a wonderful meal at Bistro de Kroon tonight. The starters were excellent and delicious. The main course was truly excellent and very well-made. The dessert was also impeccable. Simply fantastic. Highly recommended.

We dined on 9/11. We ordered an aperitif and had to wait a very long time for our bitterballen. I ordered a ribeye, but it was gone. I had a venison steak, a generous portion according to the waitress. My wife had the eggplant dish. After over an hour, we still hadn't received our dishes, so my wife inquired about their progress. After a while longer, the dishes arrived. The eggplant dish had become a pumpkin-spinach crumble, and my venison steak was half the size of the one my neighbor had been served. The food was delicious, but the long wait, the wrong dish, and the small steak left us feeling uneasy. We received an apology and two free drinks, but that didn't make our evening any better.

The new owners are making a difference. The food was delicious. The eel and salmon appetizer was delicious. The ribs were excellent, and the dessert was delicious. The beers were also excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

We had a great meal here! The service is very attentive and friendly. The price-quality ratio is excellent. The food tastes pure and delicious. The chef even came to our table. They also have a wide selection of vegetarian dishes. Many sauces etc. are gluten-free, so also ideal for people with allergies. The restaurant is located in an old building in the middle of Oudenbosch. They have ramps for the stairs. So you can easily go in and out. The toilet is accessible via a small staircase. So if you are in the area, definitely visit this nice restaurant!

We had dinner with 6 people tonight, we went here with no expectations and were really positively surprised! The service was very neat and polite, gave neat advice when we asked for it and the food was of excellent quality! Starter/main/dessert we enjoyed everything! Thanks for the nice and tasty evening👌 If I had to say something that could be different/better it is that some music could be turned on or a bit louder and the decoration could be a bit more atmospheric… For the rest, keep up the good work!!!

Review adjusted following new visit. What changes compared to the previous owners. First of all, the current owners are much friendlier and it is a big plus for us that dogs are now allowed. Provided they are well trained. We went back to eat here on May 16, 2025. In addition to the changed appearance, the hospitality is also noticeable. Drinks are turned towards you and half poured. Furthermore, the food has improved. We had bruschetta, homemade tomato soup, sole and goat cheese salad. Everything was well taken care of and we were allowed to taste the wine (yes, normally this is the case, but not in many restaurants these days). An absolutely top evening. The new owners have really made something beautiful out of it. The food is enough to fill you up.

Spacious, luxurious chairs that are comfortable, beautiful surroundings, and above all, very tasty food. The shrimp in bacon with curry mayo, vegetarian main course with tomato, eggplant and mozzarella and a delicious white and milk chocolate duo mouse. The tastiest I have eaten so far, no grainy structure, nice and smooth and soft. Service is calm, relaxed and genuinely friendly. All guests talked quietly, no loud music, never felt like I was 'at home' in the positive sense of the word. No buzzing and drowning each other out, wonderful.

Had a delicious meal here on Friday evening for a reasonable price. It was nice that our dog was also welcome. I had to ask her about this beforehand and she was welcome, provided she was calm. The service in particular was very friendly and informative. If we ever visit CP Mieke's court again, we will definitely come back for a bite to eat.

Last weekend we had a very nice dinner with a friend. It was great that I could order some extra asparagus separately with my dish! Friendly service that knows what they are doing! I'll definitely be back

Bistro de Kroon is a real asset in Oudenbosch. Already visited a few times since it opened in mid-December 2024. A cozy restaurant with tasty, affordable, beautiful and very tasty dishes. Staff is very attentive and super friendly. Smooth operation. Report grade: 10

Yesterday on the day of the reopening, we had a delicious meal with friends and family in a cozy atmosphere. (The chairs were also very comfortable) The staff was very friendly and professional. Dishes came out of the kitchen on time and hot. There are also plenty of options for the children to choose from. All in all, highly recommended for a tasty and enjoyable evening out for dinner.

Had dinner on the 2nd day of Christmas. They just opened again so it was quite quiet but we had a delicious meal! Nice 4-course Christmas menu with enough choice. Excellent taste and quality. Discovered by chance during a stopover. Good food and delicious wines. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. I would have preferred the sauce to be 'apart' from the chicken skewer. The fish offered was no longer in stock, but an alternative was immediately suggested to us.

Heel erg jammer maar niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Ondeskundige bediening die ook nog zeer ongeïnteresseerd waren. We werden gewoon buiten gekeken want de bediening had een weddenschap met de keuken dat zij eerder de zaak leeg zouden hebben. Het eten was prima, grote porties en goed verzorgd. Ook de desserts waren goed. De slechte bediening maakt dat we hier niet meer terug zullen gaan.

Zalig gegeten. Op de heenreis naar ons vakantieadres heerlijke carpaccio genomen. Daarvoor speciaal op de terugreis omgereden. Perfect en prima bediening. Jammer dat het niet zo druk was.l

Eten is OK, maar niet spectaculair. (Huis)Wijn erg duur. Bediening heeft wel 5 keer gevraagd of alles naar wens was. Lijkt me wat overdreven.

Wij hebben genoten van het prachtig interieur, comfortabele stoelen, vriendelijke bediening en uiteraard het geweldige eten. Omdat wij met onze peuter waren en er geen kinderkaart was, hebben zij speciaal iets buiten de kaart klaargemaakt. Dat is enorm fijn!

Wij zijn weer blij dat deze lokatie open is en hebben het als warm bad ervaren.

De eerste keer hebben we heerlijk gegeten, fijne bediening en goede sfeer. Op kerstavond was het opvallend minder van kwaliteit. Gerechten waren 'op' en belangrijke ingrediënten misten bij een paar bestellingen waardoor het eten echt niet goed van kwaliteit was. Jammer!

Je kunt hier goed terecht voor een goede koffie en/of thee . De geserveerde wijn * port was van goede kwaliteit. Binnen heerst een gemoedelijke sfeer. Dit restaurant/cafe is een bezoek waard!

Had een scheveninge schotel besteld waar 5 dingen bij moest zitten kreeg het geserveerd en waren maar 3 salades toen ik er om vroeg kreeg ik te horen dat het op was
