Restaurant Lova in Wijk 04 Hoeven

Top-level food, personal service, small-scale in a good way.

The food was tasty... really nothing wrong with it... We thought it was a bit small... It doesn't need a fence around the plate either... but if you say with peas and broccoli, then 4 peas, 2 dots of broccoli, and a tiny bit of pork is indeed too little, because then the price is very pricey, perhaps a bit too gourmet for us, and we also couldn't really find the menu (outside)(by the entrance); we only saw it after we were inside, and we thought the menu was very small and quite expensive... We wouldn't have gone inside if we had seen the menu... Staff very friendly... And there was nothing wrong with the food itself, mind you... (in terms of taste) We had a nice meal and it was explained well what was being served... (not to us, but to others) (selective) And we did learn another lesson: we need to look at the menu first before going inside... We won't be going back here...

My first visit to LOVA was immediately very good. Friendly welcome, a nice meal at the round table, and prompt and knowledgeable service. We opted for the surprise menu. That meant delicious spicy gazpacho, fresh bread with herb cream and oil, an amuse-bouche, a delicious starter with mackerel, a main course with veal, and a sweet dessert. Everything was tasty, accompanied by matching wines and a lovely story. Coffee with liqueur topped it all off. Just a fifteen-minute bike ride from my home.

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious 3-course set menu; it is a delight both on the terrace and inside, with personal attention. Highly recommended!

Had another delicious meal today; always a warm welcome and friendly service. Nice atmosphere, where you can enjoy the food and your company undisturbed.

This is exactly the kind of place you come back to Hoeven especially for! Super experience 💟. Delicious food, cozy spot, and incredibly hospitable.

We were served a very tasty Bavette. Dessert was also delicious. Great service and good quality food! Many thanks, Lova

We had a lovely lunch here, with a good atmosphere and a nice decor. It was a bit of a shame when we paid that the bill was quite hefty.

Another delicious meal! Nice atmosphere, good food quality, and friendly staff.

This afternoon we enjoyed a three-course lunch menu. The hospitality was excellent, the restaurant was beautiful, and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner! So hospitable, so unpretentious, but above all, tasteful! Everything was perfectly taken care of; fantastic.

Had a great meal in a beautiful and atmospheric restaurant with good service at the table. Nice to see the kitchen team working so passionately in the fully open kitchen. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful meal here! Lovely place, great atmosphere, and super friendly service. Such a young, enthusiastic girl, it was so nice to see her. The food was so delicious and looked beautiful. It was a relaxed atmosphere and we had a wonderful evening. We'll definitely be back!

A fantastic evening with delicious food and lovely wine in a charming restaurant with great service and top chefs.

Chef's Choice: a fantastic 4-course menu. Lots of flavors and generous portions. A cozy atmosphere with friendly service. We'd love to come back.

Much of the food is simply taken from the local supermarket and is really not edible. In addition, our main course was very cold and we unfortunately had to return it and it took another 30 minutes before we had our main course back, in terms of value for money this is not recommended!

We had another delicious meal at Lova! Highly recommended!

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere with good service!! surprise menu and 1 vegetarian.

Had a great evening at Lova. Very nice atmosphere, good service and really fantastic food! The 3/4 course menu with wine arrangement is definitely recommended!

Nice refined restaurant. Beautiful open kitchen, where you can see that the food is prepared with care.

Eating at Lova is a real experience of atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, fantastic dishes and excellent affordable wines. And that has been in Hoeven for two years now! Congratulations! A Brabant highlight that we will 100% definitely return to.

Thank you to team Lova for taking good care of our party and helping us think about the content. Thanks in part to you, we had a great evening. We already knew that we could enjoy a delicious meal with you, but you can also organize parties!

Friendly service but very unstructured work, the table was not cleared properly, we received the starter but had no knife and fork. Had to ask for that myself. Ordered a glass of wine, they left an empty glass. Starter was tasty, main course probably not very hot. It's been a long time since we had eaten there, but unfortunately it was a bit disappointing. 2 persons 1x starter, 1x dessert and 2x main course € 130

Really great Enjoy Beautiful open kitchen The food is truly a delight With very friendly staff Real hospitality

Delicious food and great service!

Delicious food, good service 👏🤗

Very rich and with taste. Pleasant atmosphere. Professionals.

Nice drinks and friendly staff. After walking, we popped into Lova's where the chefs were already preparing for the evening. It was quiet and the waiter had a nice chat. Delicious meat platter and the special beer on tap was delicious. Interior looks warm. It's also nice that you can look into the kitchen.

Great business. Very nice interior... Nice kitchen. Top service.... Simply top...

Food is fine. Unfortunately, our order had not yet been taken, while guests who arrived later had already been served. The owner only talked to guests he knew. The Irish Coffee was not in proportion to the price. €9.50 for an Irish Coffee in which you can barely taste the whiskey is disproportionate. Service after we ordered was fine.

A nice and cosy atmosphere at a pretty small restaurant. The food was excellent 👌.the wine also really good l. And the open bar is making a nice atmosphere.

Once again enjoyed a culinary evening here with family. We all had the 4 course surprise menu with a nice bottle of white and red wine. Everything excellently prepared and cared for. The service and attention to guests at Lova is also always at the highest level. We always enjoy coming back here.

Had dinner with two people in this restaurant on Christmas Eve. You can easily and free park across the street. The restaurant is small (about 10 tables) and cozy with a beautiful bar and an open kitchen. The two girls who worked in the service on our evening were very hospitable. The menu offers sufficient choice and the dishes chosen were delicious. The price is commensurate with the food and service. In summary; recommended.

Small restaurant with open kitchen. We received a friendly welcome and the service was friendly, prompt and enthusiastic. Sufficient time between courses, we had the game menu. Was tasty, ....., with a small comment that can be made at almost all restaurants. Good and sufficient food, but relatively few vegetables. With game, something like red cabbage, Brussels sprouts or stewed pears can easily be served separately. We will definitely come back to try the regular menu.

Nicely decorated place with a really cool bar table, where you can look directly into the kitchen. Good quality food, prepared and presented with care. NT

Delicious meal with excellent service.

Lekker gegeten. Ruim voldoende.

Excellent.. Really very nice. The chef cook delivery a surprise dinner. Fabulous!

Het eten is heerlijk. Fantastische sfeer, super bediening. Kortom: heerlijke avond gehad. We hopen dat ze dit niveau vasthouden. Erg veel potentie. Jammer dat we zo ver weg wonen. Anders was dit ons favoriete restaurant geworden. Bedankt!

Gr adriaan

Excellent staff, very friendly, up for a chat, and customer focused. Dishes looked fabulous and tasted very good. We took the chefs choice. Wines were also nicely combined with the dishes. Great interior design as well and it seems they source some ingredients locally, although I hope they do that more than the cool wall mounted chart shows. Once more guests came in, it seemed the airconditioning couldn’t keep up as it got quite warm. It was a bit pricey but considering the experience we will definitely go back once in a while.

Wij komen zeker terug!

Super lekker gegeten , en mooie ambiance . Echt een aanrader 😀

Een heel fijne plek, fantastische bediening, vriendelijk attent. Kom en je zult het zelf zien.

Sfeer, bediening en eten uitmuntend! Wat een aanwinst voor Hoeven.

Vriendelijk personeel, heerlijke sfeer en ontzettend goed en lekker gegeten👍

Heerlijk gegeten, fijne sfeer, vriendelijke bediening

Erg lekker gegeten.
