Delicious Chinese food, other menu styles available too. Very extensive and good quality. And super sweet people who run the restaurant and takeaway. Kudos to the chefs ❤️

We found this restaurant by chance and were pleasantly surprised. A great place! The food was delicious, the interior is beautiful, and the atmosphere is fantastic. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and everything pleased us immensely. Definitely recommended! ⭐️🍽️

This is my sister and brother-in-law's go-to place for takeout. Although I have only eaten in the restaurant myself once, we have picked up food here countless times. It is actually always very tasty, and the classic dishes are of consistent quality. However, one thing does surprise me: the peanut sauce. What is peanut sauce really if it doesn't contain real peanut pieces or the authentic peanut flavor? Personally, I consider that a missed opportunity for an otherwise fine meal. Nevertheless, it is a reliable place for a good takeout meal.

A very nice and good Chinese restaurant! A cozy Christmas atmosphere on Boxing Day. The staff is always friendly, but because it was so busy, we had to wait a very long time (an hour) for our main course this time. We opted for the Christmas menu. Three courses for €36. The food was excellent.

"It'll be ready in fifteen minutes." An hour and fifteen minutes later, we still haven't received our order. The food is fine, but this is really not okay.

Honestly, I don't even care if the food is good or not anymore. We ordered by phone at 17:45 and were told it would be ready in 15 minutes. When we arrived the waiting room (they have a side exclusively for takeaway) was full of people. After 1 hour and 15 minutes we were the last standing, and still no trace of our food. There were even people who booked their food and times 3 weeks ago, and they also had to wait a ridiculous amount of time. The workers basically kept hiding and not even giving explanations. Just occasionally laughing and saying "sorry, uh. Sorry, uh". Absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful. If you don't know how to handle busy days, just freaking close, and don't waste people's time. Never again

Last night, four of us dined there. Three of us had Babi Pangang, which was gray, dry, old meat. Worst ever! It's been a long time since we'd been here, but this is truly a bygone era. I think the takeout is even better. They dare to serve this. I understand why we weren't asked once if everything was to our liking. And we had to ask every five minutes if we wanted another drink. Never again.

Still as good as ever. Instead of white nasi goreng, you can also get brown.

Upon arriving for pickup, we immediately felt rushed by the unfriendly woman behind the counter. After ordering, the food was ready faster than McDonald's, which gave us a bad feeling. The food was lukewarm and tasteless. The meat and chicken were extremely dry. The spring roll was dripping with grease. The noodles were clearly of low quality. A real shame for 32 euros. We will never go to Lange Muur again, and we certainly don't recommend it to anyone!

Aardig en vaardig personeel, eten wordt snel geserveerd. De eend is heerlijk, de mihoen ook. Alleen de gado gado vond ik niet lekker. Groente te gaar, te weinig variatie in de groenten, helaas geen tofu erin en vooral: beroerde pindasaus.

We've been coming here for years! Mostly take-away, but every now and then we also visit the restaurant. The atmosphere is always good, nice service, and fast. Language sometimes causes some confusion😁 The portions are sufficient for us, extra requests are always possible. Sometimes the dishes could be served a bit warmer, but by leaving your dish on the warming plate for a while it also gets warmer. (Maybe the reason to serve it a bit colder) The menu used to be more extensive, but there is still a good choice to be made.

Picked up the weekly menu today, the fried banana was very greasy and had a bad taste, the rest of the menu was 32.50 for this price and the quality was very low, no longer a long wall for me.

The website shows live cooking on the griddle. Well, forget that. Isn't there anymore. Too bad, I'll just say... Hopefully this will prevent more disappointment for others.

Forgot to bring the food you ordered

Today I got spring roll (chicken) satay which now costs EUR 8.90 and will still cost EUR 7.70 in December 2024. Sorry, inflation in the Netherlands is almost 4% (already high in Europe), but this is an increase of 15.6%!... I'm curious about the reason, perhaps the owners can say something about that? For me it means that I will come less. And I hope that more do so, then perhaps market forces will restore these bizarre increases.

The food is excellent: fresh, tasty and well prepared. The dishes we tasted were tasty and the portions generous. Unfortunately, the menu leaves much to be desired if you are a vegetarian. The restaurant offers an attractively priced monthly menu, but unfortunately there is no vegetarian option. This means that vegetarians have to choose from individual dishes, which are considerably more expensive, and have to settle for less diversity. This feels unnecessarily restrictive, especially if you were hoping for the convenience of a ready-made menu. It is disappointing that at a time when more and more people are choosing a vegetarian or vegan diet, a restaurant is overlooking this group of guests. A vegetarian monthly menu would not only be a logical, but also a hospitable addition. In short, although the kitchen cannot be blamed, the menu clearly leaves room for improvement in this regard. A missed opportunity.

We thought we would have a nice meal here, so we ordered Foe y hai and Chong bau ngau Well it was served within five minutes and it was very poorly made, had no taste at all, no spices, nothing TASTELESS

We placed a takeaway order and received rice with bacon which was not our order. After clearly indicating (on the phone) we could come pick it up without bacon, but the gentleman at the counter did not agree and thought we should have it. wasted valuable time. I came in friendly but left very sad. He indicated that we had not been clear enough, but I don't think they speak the language well enough to understand the Dutch language. Very unfriendly employee/boss and customer is certainly not king here. Also very very expensive compared to others. Too bad about this experience because I had been coming there for years.

Delicious food in a quiet environment. Traditionally decorated, good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good service too. I got more food than I could eat. What was left was given to me neatly in a container and paper bag upon request. This way I also have some tasty food at home the next day.

Really loved dinging here. The restaurant is a wonderful time machine to the 80s and looks so beautiful. The food was incredible and the staff was really nice :) definitely recommend eating here! Parking close by and free.

Na onze vakantie lekker weer Chinees gehaald. Net zoals vorige keer een maandmenu met extra kroepoek. Hadden we nu zo'n honger...... ? Nee. Het bleek dat bakjes met de gerechten nu 1 cm lager zijn, en dus 20% minder inhoud hadden (ook nog even met water gecheckt: vorige bakjes 660 gram, en nu 530 gram). Tevens is de prijs ruim 17% gestegen (€27.50 op 8 juni 2023 tegen €33.30 gisteren)

Food wasn't great. I ordered small tjaptjoy with noodles and got nasi. Vegetables very raw and hard and nasi was just white rice. Not very tasteful. Enough for 2 people.

Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt überhaupt nicht. Wir würden zum Menü für 36.50 pro Personüberredet was es auf keinen Fall werden war. Reis und Essen schlecht gewürzt und teilweise nicht gut. Trotz fast leeren Lokal würden wir in letzte Ecke des Hauses gesetzt. (mit Kasse hinter dem Rücken) Eis war mit Früchten aus der Dose

Het eten is goed. Je kan klein en normaal portie bestellen. Had via telefoon besteld,en toen ik binnenkwam kon ik zo doorlopen want het kwam er al aan. Vriendelijke mensen.

Ik eet al jarenlang zeker 5 keer in de week Chinees. Bij alle Chinezen in Zwolle vaste klant. Maar deze laat ik schieten, babi pangang met vette randen eraan ( speklappen ? ) Nasi is smaakloos en niet goed gevuld, veel te zout. Eten is niets bijzonders, echt op Nederlanders gericht. als je andere Chinezen probeert merk je de verschillen in kwaliteit. Gedateerd restaurant met rode lampionnen en goudvissen vijver.

Het eten is zeker lekker maar ik zou als ik hier weer kom enkel afhalen. Het personeel is gehaast, het eten word niet tegelijk geserveerd, absoluut niet handig. Het zou komen door personeelstekort maar overal waar je loopt moet je uitwijken voor bediening?

Prima eten, maar slechte en zeer onvriendelijke bediening. Voor de laatste hap ging het pitje uit en vlak na de laatste hap werd direct alles van tafel gehaald. Er werd zelfs niet gevraagd of ik het lekker vond. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Al 2 jaar niet in het restaurant gegeten vanwege niet smakelijke en lauwe gerechten. Ook de bediening was niet aanspreekbaar en onvriendelijk (serveerster). Op 1 april tóch Lange Muur weer geprobeerd, eerst maar afhalen.. 2 Loempia's. Inhoud redelijk op smaak, korst als een taaie leren lap. Een slechte 1 april grap. Nooit weer, beter een paar km rijden naar Sozing Zwolle bijv.

Het eten is lekker, gevarieerd en smaakvol. Alleen jammer dat ook hier de prijzen zo gestegen zijn.

Ja top eten hier, de ambiance kan anders, het is wat gedateerd, maar het eten is geweldig.

Ga normaal naar een andere Chinees om afhalen, en dat ga ik zeker de volgende keer ook weer doen

Eten besteld daar pas en toen het door het luikje kwam dat het klaar was heeft het daar 14 minuten gestaan voor er iemand kwam om het in te pakken dus ik zeg van is het nog wel warm want het heeft er al 14 minuten gestaan.Hun voelen en toen werd het nog eens opgewarmd wat ook uiteindelijk te proeven was.Toen het voor de 2e keer werd warm gemaakt en klaar was heeft het ook nog een paar minuten gestaan voor iemand het inpakte.Zou eigenlijk gewoon nieuw gemaakt moeten hebben en voor de slechte beurt zelfs gratis mee !

Kom hier graag afhalen, vriendelijk personeel en normaal gesproken snel klaar en erg lekker.

Prima klassiek Chinees restaurant, met snelle vriendelijke bediening. Uitgebreide menukaart, snelle bereiding. Gratis parkeren.

Na een telefonische bestelling, en een akkoord dat het om 19.05 klaar zou zijn . Tot 19.50 moeten wachten. Geen excuses gehad, gewoon schandalig. En ik was niet alleen. Geef dan gewoon aan dat je niet op tijd kan leveren. Kom hier niet weer.

Prima Chinees heerlijke soepen en goede kwaliteit overige happen.

Vandaag mijn verjaardag gevierd bij De Lange Muur met familie en vrienden. Het is naar wens verlopen, gezellig en lekker.

Bij deze chinees wordt helemaal niets meer vers bereid. Loempia's zijn voorgebakkenen opgewarmd, vlees is taai door heteluchtoven en neem je een soepje dan is die zo dun, zit er niets in en is het in zo'n klein bakje voor relatief weinig geld, louter bouillon met een smaakje. Stond De Lange Muur bekend om z'n kwaliteit, is het de laatste jaren heel hard achteruit gehold. Ga niets meer ophalen.
