Best wishes from the German couple who found their way to the suburb of The Hague because of the many positive and justified reviews ❤️ P.S.: Well-intentioned tip: With the Nutella pancakes, it would be nicer if they had placed a small bowl of poured Nutella on top of the pancake instead of three small plastic packets. This saves plastic and saves the customer the hassle of opening and scraping out the packets. It looks better, too ❤️

I had pancakes here today. The folded pancakes with apple are truly delicious. The service is also very friendly and attentive; they clearly enjoy their work.

We stopped by De Pannenkoeken Club for the second time, and thoroughly enjoyed it again! The boys both opted for the plain pancake – simple, but perfectly cooked: a lovely golden brown, fluffy on the inside, and with a subtle hint of sweetness. They were both quiet at the table… always a good sign 😄 This time, I went for something a little more special: the apple strudel pancake. What a sight! The pancake was beautifully decorated, with apple slices, raisins, cinnamon sugar, and a delicious layer of vanilla. It looked stunning and had an extra soft, creamy flavor that I truly savored. Not only did it look festive, but it tasted perfect too – like eating a warm apple strudel in pancake form. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try something special. And what tops it all off: the friendliness and hospitality of the baker. You immediately feel welcome, as if you're enjoying a meal at someone's home. We'll definitely be back for round three!

My first time there, invited by friends. I stood there at the door and thought... pancakes? What's so special about that? Step inside and immediately found a very pleasant atmosphere, a warmly decorated old building. We were seated in the conservatory at the back, which is actually a converted courtyard garden, but cozy! The service was as friendly and welcoming as the surroundings. I chose a pancake with Italian herbs, cheese, chicken, etc. I've rarely had such a delicious (meal) pancake. The owner, who bakes them himself with pure ingredients, came to the table to ask how the pancakes were. Truly fantastic!! This is a top-notch pancake! The selection of pancakes is too extensive to list. Even a good review can have its drawbacks; what could be improved? Maybe the toilet faucet is a bit loose and the door is a bit tricky to close, but otherwise, it's spotless! Isn't it the best in the Netherlands for nothing? And the neighborhood where this restaurant is located is full of atmosphere, like the "old Rijswijk" neighborhood. Will I go back? No question, really!

There we were, on a random Friday night, with two undecided ladies: one pregnant, the other in the throes of puberty. Chaos? A bit. But then we realized: the youngest had never been inside a pancake restaurant. I called—bam, a spot was booked. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a super friendly waitress. She honestly said it would take a little longer, but honestly? We were having such a good time that no one cared. The menu was huge, which naturally led to some decision-making stress for the girls, but good food is part of the experience, and all the better if you want to come back often, but don't always want to eat the same thing. When the food arrived, we were in shock. So much, so delicious. We took a picture, of course, and by chance, the woman came by and gave us a full photoshoot. Halfway through, we were completely stuffed, so doggy bag it is. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the chef came over to visit. Super chill guy with a great story. Turns out they're just some of the best in the Netherlands?! It's bizarre how a spontaneous idea can turn out this way. And now? My mom is eating those doggy bags as if she ordered them herself 😭.

Great tasty pancakes. Variety in the pancake special makes you come back time and time again. Restaurant is run by a couple, the man makes the pancakes and the woman is in charge of the service. Make personal contact and are very friendly! A real recommendation for the whole family or cozy with your partner, boyfriend or girlfriend.

Such a beautiful place to eat good Pannenkoeken! The waitress are very nice and the service is excellent! The menu ist also fine with its reasonable priced dishes. We had the special Pannekoeken, that wasn't on the menu but the waitress recommended. We tried and it was delicious! 5 stars, we will come back!

Yesterday I went to this pancake house with a friend. We entered while the restaurant was almost empty – there were at least twenty tables free. Yet we were immediately told by the employee that there was “no room” and that it was “completely full”. That surprised us, because visually that was clearly not the case. Another guest who had almost finished eating even spontaneously offered to take over his table. Yet that was also firmly rejected with the message that it “really wasn’t going to work”. Out of curiosity, I then called ten minutes later under a different name, and suddenly there was room available for three people. It felt like we were deliberately refused, and unfortunately the only clear reason was our appearance or origin. As an entrepreneur you can be many things, but when you refuse people based on prejudices and turn away customers while there is plenty of room – then something is seriously wrong. This is not only bad entrepreneurship, it is also morally reprehensible. I felt absolutely unwelcome and this was the first and last time I was here. Hopefully this experience will be taken seriously and the employee involved will be addressed. Discrimination has no place anywhere - not even in a pancake house.

It's simply delicious, the specialty is even SUPER!

What a nice, small-scale pancake house this is. I had dinner there with my grandchildren. When we made the reservation it turned out that they were actually closed, but we were still able to go, because there was a children's party going on so we could sit in the conservatory. Huge pancakes with generous personalized fillings are served. You can leave out ingredients or others are added as desired. The owners are friendly and really want you to have a good time. Even the colored pencils are all sharpened and of good quality, the coloring pages are also very nice according to my grandchildren. In between you are asked if everything is to your liking. All in all a big 10+

What great pancakes they have here! So much variety and options that aren't even on the menu, because the possibilities seemed endless. The reception was fantastic and personal. Our two young children received immediate attention that young children need. The cook came by and, like the other staff, was very cheerful and friendly. Even the well-known 'is everything to your satisfaction' was good, because they knew exactly what your questions were in advance, etc. And when leaving the restaurant we were also said goodbye warmly. That I have never eaten here in all the years that I have lived in Rijswijk and have children... What a loss. We will return here very soon

What a nice pancake restaurant! Very personal attention from both madam and sir. Very large pancakes too, so I couldn't finish mine completely - we even got a free extra pancake to take home! Extensive menu with various special pancakes, but also other dishes. And fun coloring pages and crayons for our 4-year-old son... In short: recommended!

Delicious dinner with seven people. Good portions and good taste. We ordered spare ribs, various pancakes, spicy shrimps and burgers. Everything tasted good. Dessert was ice cream and coffee and that was also fine. There is an open, relaxed atmosphere and the staff are attentive and friendly. It was quite busy but pleasantly busy. There is a playground next to it where children can play. You can park for free opposite the restaurant, there is more than enough space.

After a visit to the musical Frozen, we ate pancakes here with three of our grandchildren. It was a festive end to the day. There are already a lot of nice reviews on Google, but this one could still be added. What an atmosphere, what (customer) friendliness. They really did everything they could to make us and especially the children happy. In our opinion, the best pancake restaurant in The Hague and surrounding areas.

I had been here with friends and family. 5 adults and two children. There is a very extensive menu. We thought the food was exceptionally good. Everything tasted fantastic and was certainly not too small. I personally have never eaten a better pancake than this! Also got to meet this wonderful chef! That is real craftsmanship. A really delicious meal and because we had a child with us with a milk and egg allergy, special batter was prepared (please mention this when you make your reservation). The pancakes were delicious, the atmosphere was excellent and the staff did everything they could to please the guests.

Ik ging eerste keer naar pannekoekflub in de schattige Oud Rijswijk met mijjn zoon omdat hij zijn C diploma had behaald. We zijn naast de bestelde pannekoek ook erg verrast met een pannekoek in de vorm van letter C van diploma zwemmen C. De pannekoek was erg lekker. Mijn zoon gaf aan dat hij nooit eerder zo’n lekkere pannekoek had gegeten. Ook zijn we heel hartelijk ontvangen. Dank u wel en we komen zeker terug

We were at pancake club today. Very warmly received. Our son had obtained his C diploma for swimming. We were pleasantly surprised with a pancake in the shape of C with eyes and candy. Thank you for the delicious pancake and we will definitely be back.

Zaterdag 29 juni 2024 Rolf's specialiteit uitgeprobeerd, namelijk een pannenkoek met ballen. Schijven van een kant-en-klare gehaktbal, daar overheen heerlijke oude kaas, en daar het beslag overheen. Even omdraaien en klaar. De pannenkoek werd opgediend met partjes van cherrietomaatjes en rucola sla. Tevens stond een klein schaaltje met pittige katjangsaus in het midden van de pannenkoek. Apparte combinatie, maar het heeft heerlijk gesmaakt. Een echte aanrader, voor een schappelijk prijsje.

Really great owner/service, really warm. They even gave us unsolicited tips for our future vacation. We came specifically for the Poffertjes. Unfortunately, they are only available on weekends and only until 5 p.m. The pancakes we had then were very tasty. For all tourists: There are only Dutch and German pancakes here and no American pancakes. Reasonably priced.

We booked this restaurant based on the reviews. Unfortunately, we were delayed by very heavy traffic. When we called to explain why we were delayed, they said “you are late, you have to wait”. When we got to the restaurant, there were zero parking spaces anywhere near the restaurant. After searching for 15 minutes, we gave up. They may have great food (we will never know), but they are rude and inaccessible.

Rarely I give 5 stars on all parts, but if you want pancakes, this is really the place to go.

Very charming spot for pannenkoeken (Dutch pancakes) in The Hague. The atmosphere is lovely, and the service exceptional. Highly recommend trying out this spot if you want a fantastic Dutch pancake. We had a pancake with cherry filling, and a folded pancake with apple compote/raisin. The owners were kind enough to make us a special rolled up pancake with citrus and crunchy sugar to try out as well. Overall a very special experience, I hope I get to come back again one day!
