It’s a good thing you get a 30% discount on your admission ticket via the ANWB, because the prices they dare to charge inside here are bizarre. €8.75 for a Cheese Toastie; let that sink in for a moment. €8.75 for two slices of white bread and a slice of cheese sitting there waiting nicely under the heat lamp. The generously topped multigrain bun that costs €8.75 for a healthy sandwich too. €9.75 for a handful of lukewarm fries and four chicken nuggets in a cardboard box, and we call that a SmulboxEZ. I must be getting old, but it is the price-performance ratio of the toastie that really triggers me... Two slices of bread and some cheese. €8.75

The food tasted okay, but the prices were very overpriced; my 0.33l beer cost €6.30.

The quality of the food is basic but fine. However, the prices are very high for what you get. €8.75 for a simple ham and cheese sandwich or €11 for a brie sandwich—not really okay anymore.

Some things are quite expensive, on the other hand, fries with pulled chicken are really tasty.

A lovely restaurant in this zoo where you can relax and enjoy a meal. In the morning, we had a cappuccino with a warm cheese roll, and both the coffee and the warm cheese roll were excellent. We also had lunch there at noon, having fries with chicken and a soft drink. The order is freshly prepared, and you can pick it up when you ring the buzzer you receive. The fries with chicken were excellent quality and tasted delicious. We were, however, quite shocked by the high prices, and the sandwiches were certainly expensive, so we didn't order a sandwich. The fries with chicken were even cheaper than a brie sandwich. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was also clean and tidy throughout.

If you feel the need to charge people euro 3.65 for a simple cup of coffee, make sure it doesn't fall short of quality and volume.

Okay place to grab a bite to eat. Prices are a bit high though. The sandwiches tasted fine, but €15 for a burger menu is on the high side as far as I'm concerned. Plenty of seating inside, in the conservatory, and outside.

The selection isn't very extensive. And €7.25 for a simple ham and cheese sandwich, which I had to check myself first, seems a bit excessive. The "hot" chicken sandwich was lukewarm. The sandwich was fine, although there's little to fault there.

Gluten-free options: chicken nuggets, frikandel, croquette, and fries; there are no healthy options. The fries seemed fried in old grease and soaked with oil. The chicken nuggets were okay. Service: They forgot my son's toasted sandwich, but they quickly brought it back. He did like it.
